Beautiful hotel in a great location. Fun and modern but tight quarters for four with the beds against the wall which made it less convenient when sharing a bed. No closet made for suitcases on the floor but did love all of the hanging hooks and cubbies. Rooftop hot tub was fabulous and the gym was beautiful. Coffee bar was a bit slow in the morning and the bartender wouldn’t accept our son’s vertical California ID despite him turning 22 in a couple of months.

Overall, would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Breakfast staff were rude, unhelpful and disinterested. Asked if they could make me a coffee, latte, got told to make my own from the jug of pre-brewed coffee. Told them I had pre-paid for breakfast, got charged regardless - although only for one of the breakfasts I had there. Very disappointing.

I have been debating on how to rate our 1 night stay, trying to state the facts vs my irritation.
-Parking, it's either street parking or Valet for $40. There was no street parking, so had to use the Valet. I don't believe this was noted in my reservation, but I could have overlooked it. The young man was great, he was helpful, professional and so nice.
-Check in with \"Maddie\" (if I am remembering right) was easy and fast. She was also very friendly.
-We came downstairs at 9:03 pm to grab something quick to eat. The bar was open. Food was served until 10. We ordered chicken tacos and a chicken sandwich. It took 50 minutes to get those 2 things. The chicken tacos were inedible and the 1 side I ordered didn't come. When I asked about it, I was told the kitchen was closed and I couldn't get it, yet I had pd. for it. The sandwich was the wrong one but my daughter ate it anyway. The 2 items plus a cocktail was $56. Honestly we could have had better food at Taco Bell. That was VERY DISSAPPOINTING and not up to expectation for a Moxy or the price.
-Room was clean. Small - to be expected, but clean.
-The next morning check out was a breeze; Maddie was still there and sweet.
-Another young man helped us put our bags in our car, since we could stay parked there until later that day, was terrific. Also friendly, nice and accommodating.
Overall, experience was good. It could have been great, but the food was underwhelming. Eat somewhere else if you are in a pinch.

This was my second stay at the Moxy Boulder in a two-month period, and the quality of the room and amenities remained excellent. I specifically requested the same room for my return visit, which the staff accommodated during a slow January week.

I stayed four nights, and the experience was positive overall. On the morning of checkout, I requested a 1:00 p.m. checkout after my flight time changed. I was told this could not be accommodated due to housekeeping staffing and that late checkout was reserved for elite status guests.

While I understand policy constraints, the hotel appeared to be very lightly occupied, and a one-hour extension seemed reasonable under the circumstances.

Had a fabulous stay at Moxy Boulder. Was in town visiting my son to see his hockey games at CU Boulder. The check-in was seamless. Prior to booking a had read a few negative reviews related to noisy kids, being so close to The Hill, and that the rooms were small and did not have closets.

First and foremost, it said parking included. Only parking available is valet for $40 extra. Although there is plenty of residential parking in the neighborhood, there is no place to unload bags check in and then go park. Everything said valet only.

Arrived early and asked for a room on the west side. despite being a bonvoy member… because I booked a third-party Expedia. I was told I had to wait till after 4:30 to get any kind of preference on a room. Instead of being told we can wait till later and check you in. I was told
this room is available, with The perception that they had a room available per my request of a west facing view. instead, I got a room over looking directly into somebody else’s room! as a matter of fact, it was several other people rooms that I was literally just looking into their window. The front desk person knew exactly what I was asking for… instead of giving me options to wait and get the west facing view, they gave me a room with the exact OPPOSITE of my request. I immediately went down and said I think there was a misunderstanding in my request. She said well I’m sorry we reserve that preference for people who do not book third-party a.k.a. Expedia. Why have partnerships with companies like Expedia if you’re gonna be treated like anything other than a guest!!! I actually own a private car service and would never treat a guest this way despite who they booked through to receive my services. Very disappointed!!!

The valets were so quick and kind and had smiles on their faces. It was a great welcome after a 10 hour drive. Our room very clean and had a wonderful view from the picture window of the mountains. We found no issues with accessibility on the property. We will definitely stay here next time we're in Boulder!

This hotel is physically nice and located in a very good spot- but I was there during a football game and there was a party right outside my window that was insanely loud- it sounded and felt like I was in the DJ booth. The staff at the hotel said there was no quieter room and nothing they could do about it. Also the air conditioner was not working and it was very hot and stuffy in the room. I tried to solve the issues for an hour with the staff and Expedia but ultimately left the hotel and made other last minute arrangements. I was furious.

The room was very small and they bumped us from the room we reserved to a much smaller room. Rather than 2 Queen Beds we got one Queen bed with a weird loft style bed(almost like a bunk bed) that I hit my head on a couple times. They did give us $50 credit towards food & beverage. There were no luggage stands to put suit cases on. The hotel was perfectly located to the University of Colorado campus and location to everything was great. The bar ran out of Prosecco for Mimosas & ran out of Bloody Mary mix as well on the morning of the big game.

Clean, comfortable and modern hotel. We had booked a mountain view room and it was lovely to see such a great view in the morning. I loved the outside areas on the ground floor....the planting made them feel very lush and completely disguised the fact I was in a busy town. Breakfast in the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. There were good restaurants nearby for our evening meal and it was only a 10-15 minute walk into the town centre. The staff were very helpful and advised us about on-street parking (which was free and plentiful since the nearby university was still on holiday). Would be happy to recommend to others.

There is no pool. It's a large hot tub. I was kind of bummed to find that out on a hot summer day. But besides that disappointment it's a lovely clean place and staff are friendly and helpful. Lack of parking sucks but it's easy to find free street parking nearby. It's a 15 min walk downtown or also easy to grab a local bus to avoid the uphill walk back when it's hot! Overall it was lovely.

Outstanding stay for walking to Shakespeare festival in Boulder Colorado. Free parking on the street if you can find it. Or valet parking $40 overnight. Many choices for eating a block away. Totally walkable. We enjoyed listening to the rain storm from a covered outdoor lounge.

Valet Parking isn’t very helpful. The hotel doesn’t have adequate parking and the college kids just tell you to park on the street, never offering to help first unload your car whatsoever. Great place to stay if you love listening to people party all night. A lot of frats & sorority houses nearby and very little parking. It would be impossible during the school year. Good in a pinch without a vehicle if you need to be near CU-Boulder campus.

The Moxy is a great hotel and the staff was pretty good. Seemed to be training a lot of staff so only certain people knew how to help you. They were very accommodating though. Very noisy street traffic is heard in all the rooms.

Atrocious. I found spots of blood on a blanket (see photo!), which is typical of bedbug infestations, and they just offered to send in housekeeping to change the sheets. When I insisted they give me a different room, they told me the hotel was fully booked. I checked on Expedia, saw that they did actually have vacancy, booked that room, and went to reception: they refused to honor the booking - so if you book on Expedia, they might just choose to not honor your booking, and you'd need to find another room somewhere in Boulder - not a trivial task at 10pm. Anyhow, they sent an \"engineer\" to look for bedbugs (since when are engineers experts in bedbug searches?), told me I was not allowed to watch or talk to the engineer after, and claimed that he didn't find any evidence of bedbugs (he also didn't find the blood, of which I have pictures, so it clearly wasn't a very thorough search). Anyhow, I changed hotels, and then later found out that they *still* charged me for the extra room I booked even though they didn't honor the booking (I had opted to pay at the property, so this wasn't Expedia's fault). I had to go back there to demand a refund. So, all in all: dirty, unprofessionally managed, and with deplorable integrity. (I won't even get into the fact that the rooms have no fridges, closets, or chairs with cushions that you can actually sit on.)

Priced like a luxury hotel, but experience was disappointing compared
Understaffed. Had to ask multiple times for check-in, linens, towels, housekeeping.
Bed that can't compare to luxury hotels.
Simple things, like they advertise complementary coffee in the morning. This morning at 7ish am, they had \"run out\" of coffee. The bartender told me she was sorry, and that she could make me a cup of coffee from the espresso machine. But then she surprised me by charging me for it...

In short - when you pay $1000 for two nights for a special occasion, you hope that you are well taken care of and the staff will go above and beyond. Unfortunately, we left like an afterthought, as if we weren't important.

And an amazing experience and great service is what we all hope for when we visit top-class properties. This wasn't.

The VALET SERVICE was TERRIBLE - they did not have enough staff and it took FOREVER to both park and get the car on departure. The young people at check in were unreliable in terms of welcoming/informative. Some knew answers to questions, others were clueless.

Everything about this property was incredible other than being checked into a room that I shouldn't have been. I've routinely gotten dirty or unusable rooms across many hotels and after a 12 hour day loading in for an event, I was not impressed to have the same experience again. The layout of the 2nd floor was confusing, so I had to go downstairs to be guided to my room, no maps of course. Upon entering I see a note from HVAC, no sheets, no tv, and a blanket wadded up in the corner. Returned downstairs to get a new room fairly quickly, with the host apologizing and stating the room was flagged in the system but due to technical errors, it keeps coming back in rotation. Of which I want to understand, but a secondary note at the desk would've avoided this consequence because when I returned and repeated the room number, the person that checked me in immediately knew the issue. I was given an additional free drink coin for my trouble. Would've preferred a meal and a manager interaction. The expedia booking shows the King bedroom under the Queen bedroom photos so that was also upsetting and misleading as I expected more space and the only King was booked. Wall signs hard to read with evening sunlight. Bar drinks and food prices were delicious and great! Friendly staff, clean hotel, and nice rooftop hot tub.

The is is a brand new property. The staff are stellar, the bar is amazing and great for team or individual travellers, and the general hang out space is so fun. My only suggestion is to ask for the non street side. The street is busy and the sun kicks in hard in the morning (blinds do very little!). But all of this is minor because the rest of the details are so great.
