The toilet was not functioning properly during the entirety of our stay. It was already broken when we checked in. It took a few hours for us to realize the toilet paper was not flushing. I had to google the hotel phone number because the room phone was not working. I called down and was told that all the room phones on my floor were not working, and that maintenance was only there during the day, and they offered to move us to a different room. In retrospect I wish we had chosen this option, but we thought it would be quickly fixed in the morning and we were already completely unpacked and settled into the room, with the pull out couch made up. They said we could use the public toilets downstairs by the pool. I left early the next morning for a medical procedure, and when I returned to the room I was sleeping off the anesthesia. When I became aware that the toilet still wasn’t fixed, I called down and was told that maintenance had left for the day already. Either they had not been given the message about our room or they had simply neglected to attend to it while they were on site that day. They came the next day and it worked for two whole flushes before breaking again. I was sick that night and had to use a non flushing toilet. I did not pay for a hostel with a shared bathroom downstairs. I paid for a hotel room with a working toilet and a working phone.

The important stuff was excellent, as usual. clean room suite, clean linen, quiet area, courteous staff. Also, convenient access and accessible shopping.

However, there are two dings. 1) breakfast was cold, always. the eggs, the bacon, etc. 2) there is no whirlpool despite being advertised.

Property is quite old and the quality of the breakfast is very subpar for >$200/night. Front desk were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, they allow smoking in the courtyard ( within a short distance from the common area) which is a huge turn off.

Booked room, arrived, was told room unavailable due to water damage and we made arrangements to stay at our sister hotel next door (Springhill Suits). Room was a down grade from what was booked and never offered any type of a discount or to make an adjustment to what we had prepaid. If it wasn’t for reaching out to Orbitz the following day, I suspect nothing would have been done by Marriott. PS they also have an undisclosed fee of $5 a day parking. Given my experience, I would recommend staying at Hyatt.

A Rip-Off

Charging for parking in Longmont is ridiculous. And this is the most un-pet friendly place I have ever stayed. You should just say you don't take pets. Had I known the fee was $75 I would not have stayed. And your staff was just rude. I just stayed at the Fairfield and they were wonderful in every category. Will cross Residence Inn's off my list.

Warning. This hotel is between a busy highway and train tracks. So if you're not listening to trucks, you hear train horns. That plus the thin walls and windows, plus the noisy fridge, plus the noisy kids in the adjacent rooms means there's no peace and quiet for a night's sleep. Glad we only stayed one night.

Staff and service were fabulous! very helpful, friendly, accommodating to requests. Breakfast was very good, food and coffee were left out longer than stated hours which was convenient. Only problem we encountered: we had a ground level suite with very large windows - all of them were unlocked and would have been easy to slide open; also, when closed they leaked a considerable amount of cold air into the rooms. We rolled up towels and cut down on most of that, but it was not a plus for the property. Everything else about the property, staff, and service was just great.

The hotel is in the process of renovation so many services are not available. The breakfast area is closed and not seating until the hotel is fully renovated. It looks like it will be great later once the renovation is finished, but now it was overpriced for what we got. Service is great, the reception did a great job trying to accomodate us, and it is not their fault the hotel is in renovation stage, but we are very dissatisfied since the price doesn't not represent the quality of the place today.

The pool, hot tub and fitness area were all closed. The reason we picked that hotel was for those amenities. Our microwave was broken. Our toilet leaked so bad we had to have towels on the floor at all times. Maintenance did fix it .. but we had to go without any water all day. The breakfast selection was small. I was very disappointed that I paid full price for a room that offered nothing it said it would. I paid the same price as people stayed somewhere else and got to enjoy the pool, hot tub, ect.. I will never stay there again

When pulling out the couch bed, found an old sock in the mattress. Pulling out the couch bed also exposed an excess of garbage underneath the couch. After the first day that we asked for room service we placed the no service placard on our door. I returned several days later to find room service was in my room with the deadbolt locking me out and nothing in the room had been cleaned. When I inspected the room I found an entire month of prescriptions missing. I put up motion sensor cameras and when it inevitably happened again I brought it to the attention of the manager. I asked for an accounting of whom had used a key card to access our room. Of which he did immediately, yet he never reported to me who had because I demanded that he report his findings in writing over email, not verbally, so as to hold someone accountable. This manager, Mr.Sahagun, was overheard during a hotel hosted event talking about politics loudly, the exact words were “Clinton was responsible for Kobe’s death”. I’m unaware how a person that holds no political office can make decisions regarding California Flight Control decisions. In this political climate, this topic is just off limits at work regardless of what your opinion may be. This man is clearly detached from reality and I’m not surprised that he would not take responsibility for the theft of our prescriptions or disclose the resolution of his investigation to me in writing so that I may take legal action myself.

Great option for exploring the Boulder to Fort Collins area, convenient location to access the area. Lots of food options with walking distance when you don't want to drive. Room was very spacious and the full sized refrigerator made it easy to keep the beer collection from the trip cold. We reserved a handicap room, which was very new to us as our son was injured end of summer. But found garbage cans as small as for in a car. Much smaller than in most motels. Plus the door was very heavy and swung back unless we held it open our son would never have been able to open it on his own. There was also stains under the kitchen table area. Something I don't expect at a Marriott. Very hard to find the entrance, had parked and had to walk all around in dark and cold and get back in truck to drive to find it on side. Made it appear their other room was the entrance. Also no where to dispose of our sons supplies that we didn't want to just throw away in room. Walked halls and lobby and could not even find a dumpster, so very hard from a newly handicap situations needs.

First and foremost, this place is laid out like a nursing home or a retirement home. We had a hard time finding the lobby. The hotel seemed older but had been updated. We had the two bedroom suite with the fireplace.......which didn't function. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. For the price, I'll try another hotel next time.

The great eclipse

We were on our way to see the great eclipse. The hotel was very nice and clean. What impressed me the most was that the hotel actually had balls and pool noodles for the kids to play with in the pool area. The extra thought really got my attention as my kids were tired from sitting in the car and needed to work off some energy. The front staff was very kind.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Our 17 month old baby got sick during our stay and the hotel was amazing. They brought us new bedding, had hospital information readily available and the hotel staff helped within 10 minutes of each request. THis all happened during the rush of the 4th of July holiday weekend as well.
No issues at all and would pick this hotel again if we come back to Denver area.

Easy Access to Boulder and Beyond

We stayed here while our RV was being serviced and it was quite nice (very roomy after living in an RV). We had an issue with the A/C not working and they sent a guy up right away to get it fixed for us. We had plenty of restaurant choices and access to Longmont, Boulder, even Denver and Ft. Collins was easy enough. The pool and fitness center were nice and the staff was quite dog friendly. We would stay here again.

Stayed one night for a quick trip to Colorado. Upon arrival the hotel had my reservation waiting check in took less than 5 minutes. We were told of all the amenities and where to find them. We were asked to join then in the commons area for complimentary drinks and snacks, which we participated in. The only blip on the radar was our room only had a queen bed. Not sure if that was my fault or theirs, but it was not a big issue for one night.

New Year's getaway!

Rooms were clean and space was just right for us. The location is perfect if you want to go to Boulder, Longmont and even Estes Park (only 45min away). Staff is super nice and friendly.
We had a hot breakfast every day and we were very pleased they didn't take it down right at 9:30am. They left it out for a few minutes later which we appreciate (especially because it was New Year's). Overall it was great and we will definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice hotel with nice décor!

Very nice stay. The rooms at this hotel are little apartments of 1 or 2 bedrooms or studios. They all have kitchen with dishwasher and large fridge so it is great if you want to cook there. We stayed in a 1 bdr room, with separate living room, one TV in each room and sofa bed. The bed is really comfy and bathroom is a good size. It also has a 24 hrs gym (not very big, but does the work), a pool and hot tub (open from 6am to 11pm) and the breakfast is absolutely great! It is right in front of Oskar Blues Brewery (totally worthy), and next to Hover st in Longmont (where all the malls/stores are). You will need a car or take the bus to go to downtown Longmont or to Boulder (7 miles away). The only thing we didn't like is that we requested a late check-out the night before and were told to ask the same morning of checking-out better... when we did, they said that many people had already requested it the night before... wth?! and right at 12pm the cleaning lady was knocking at the door twice for us to leave... that wasn't nice (we were finishing packing). It is also dog friendly and has green areas to walk the dog around the hotel! :)
