I attempted t check in at 7am, I am aware it is very early. I came in Karan said have a seat and make yourself comfortable. After 35 minutes of being comfortable, I asked any update, he said no rooms ready. I am a front office manager and understand the process. I said you can inform me that in the beginning but it was the change of overnight shift and Karan was completing his tasks before handing over his shift to his colleague Shahzheb.
Shahzheb said let me take a copy of your ID and when you come back in the evening the room will be ready. I asked why did Karan not take an ID copy they both just smiled which I did not understand.
In the evening when I came back the oversmart Shahzheb asked my partner to fill out her details and she got stuck at her pincode as she has not lived in India in the last 8 years. Shahzheb said let me get your ID copy for you that can help you remember your pin code/zip code. I did not understand the rudeness or was he trying to be funny bit it came across as obnoxious.
Both Shahzeb and Karan were horrible and need to be taught basic manners and customer service.
