Property is close to metro and some shops are nearby. But the neighborhood is mixed, and the service was uneven. Breakfast was basic. This hotel is OK, and we would stay here again, but I believe there are probably better options.

Cleanish, modernish hotel for price

Foyer looked modern and clean. Efficient booking in and good lift. Plenty of hot water in the morning, but not at night. Breakfast variable. One morning only toast and jam, other times more variety. Quiet. Not told there was a roof garden. Found it just as we were leaving. Wifi more often off than on. Overall good compared with other hotels in this price range.

Horrible hotel staff. Not worth the charge.

When I reached hotel,They said they are sold out and asked me to leave and look for some other hotel! The manager simply left in my presence and left it to some lower level staff to deal.I had to literally shout at them and make a scene for them to even consider some accommodation. Otherwise they were very insensitive. The charge is very high considering the standards of the hotel. It is not in a good neighbourhood. Took lot of time to locate. The breakfast was very bad with hardly any thing to eat. Next day for the same room cost I could get Radisson blu!

Bunch of thugs. Beware!!!

Don't fall in trap this hotel is bunch of thugs. They confirmed my booking then denied it when I reached the hotel. They said they have made arrangements in their partner hotel at the same rate and services but the hotel they had arranged was inferior and I had to pay extra for the services. I reached with my wife at night and to my horror in a place like Delhi your hotel denies you a room. I had no option but to take what is being offered. The hotel they made arrangements informed me that they have told to give just room no breakfast so I had to pay extra for it when it was there on the offer.

Excellent hotel for the price,

Not a lotof interesting things to see in walking around in the area. Our room 114 was excellent with a very large window. It was clean and comfortable. We ate dinner in the dining room and the food was very good and plentiful.

Do not book a room that includes hotel transfer.

We arrived at 1:30 AM at Delhi and attempted to find our prebooked transfer to the hotel.
There was nobody at the airport. The hotel didn't send anyone until we called them so we ended up waiting 1-1/2 hours. The hotel said that they had sent someone but that was not true. Another couple that we were touring with arrived the next day and the same thing happened to them. They paid for a transfer but nobody came. Their situation was worse. A cab driver supposedly made a call fo to the hotel and told them that the hotel said that they should pay him directly to drive them to the hotel and then the hotel would reimburse them for the cab. It turned out to be a fake call and they paid far more than they should have. The hotel would not reimburse them for the cab or for the prebooking fee. They should have sent a cab to meet us and they should have made an effort to compensate our friends.

nice hotel for short stay only.

The dining hall was rented out for a party on both days of my stay, and hence we had to have our food in our room on one day and on the next day we had to go out and this caused a lot of inconvenience.

We arranged for a pick up from this hotel .no one came. Did the same thing for my sister. They would not pay for our taxi. Poor service. Rooms are moldy in the bathroom.

ok but not worth the money

Positives: one stop shop for all your trip plans, i.e.they are willing and able to arrange everything. Most of the staff members are good. Negatives: airport pickup very expensive despite a being advertised as part of the booking, not a friendly neighbourhood, very small rooms, not very attentive to requests and yet it was almost $100/night (that too was said to be a discounted rate)

Great value for money!

Its one of the best budget hotels I have stayed in awhile. Rooms are very clean with all the amenities inplace, as described on the website. Breakfast buffet is good too. Located quite close to the Delhi metro (5 mins walking distance). Highly recommend!

Superb hotel. Clean fancy and comfortable.

hotel is very clean. Quality of the hotel was really close to 4-5 star. Rooms were very comfortable. The hotel is equipped with latest technology. Staff go out of the way to keep the customer happy.
I wish there would have been more options for breakfast.

Looks very new.
Room is clean.Toothpaste,tooth brush,shower cap and a comb included.No hairdryer,no safe.Towels without any stains.Daily room cleaning+change of towels.Local newspaper in English every morning.
Got the room without windows:no street noise at all.But the room has a single door and it's not very soundproof so you can hear every talk in the corridor.So if your room is near the elevator(like mine)in the evening and in the morning it's quite noisy.
Electrical sockets aren’t fully compatible with European and Russian plugs(don’t hold securely).
Every day need to recharge room's electronic key on reception.
Water is hot enough except late in the evening.But I like a VERY hot water.So for the ordinary man it will be OK.
Wi-fi credentials should be renewed every 5 h.But the procedure is simple:call to the reception and they instantly send you a guy with printed credentials.Internet works smoothly,without any problems.
Breakfasts were not very diverse.Half of the courses are Indian(but not very spicy even for a European).Definitely there is enough food not to become hungry until lunch(boiled eggs,omelette,fresh fruits,peas,milk).Additionally you can order whatever you like from the menu.Staff is very accommodating.
You can order food to the room 24h. Fast&not very expensive.Menu includes~10 continental and 10 Indian courses).
Surrounding area doesn’t look scary even in the evening(at last until metro is working).Hotel is placed on the map correctly

Stay was good. It was value for money. Breakfast was good but can be improved by adding a few Indian spicy dishes. Internet was an issue and we could not connect from our room, had to go to corridor to use internet. Overall was very comfortable and hotel staff was friendly and guided us well. Hotel was at a 3 minutes from metro station and could be easily located

Convenient, great value for money!

This is a very well maintained hotel, found it same as the photos on the site. Pretty clean rooms and very helpful staff. It is located 10 minutes walk away from Patel Nagar metro station which is such a plus in Delhi.On the day of check-in I reached 4 hours before check-in time, front desk provided a room after short wait. Through the stay staff tried their best to be of help. Great hotel and staff, definitely saty in future as well. Only grouse is rooms are without windows and spread in the breakfast was the same all through my 4 day stay,

Top quality budget hotel

I stayed at Almondz for 10 nights with my adult daughter in November 2012 in executive room and would recommend it to anyone who wants great value for money and service. I booked the room on Expedia after spending hours reviewing various hotels and was so relieved and happy with the choice i made.The location is quiet and clean by Delhi standards and tuk tuks easily available.The staff are fantastic and always helpful ,we were lucky enough to be there for Diwali festival and they let us on the roof to watch the fireworks.Modern and clean western style hotel with excellent food in the restaurant. You can get a lot cheaper hotels but that's exactly what you ll get. Wherever you stay in Delhi I would strongly recommend an airport pickup ,its well worth the (extra)money.

I had a great stay at the ALMONDZ HO TEL> although not close to main shopping strip like Caunnaught Place, Karol Bagh, it is pofssible to reach it by METRO which is easy walking distance from hotel or by auto rickshaw.The only disadvantage with this Hotel is the\" government gates\" that are put up in the evening - meaning you cannot be dropped off at the Hotel. One needs to walk - *I had a great driver- even though I knew the way, he escorted me to the Hotel Reception. One thing that I was dissappointed about; is the double cost the Hotel charged me to hire a taxi.

Nice, new and clean....not sure about the location

The hotel is brand new, modern and extremely clean and the staff was great. I wouldnt know about the location, we got to Delhi very late at night and the hotel was really difficult to find, After midnight they will close down certain streets and the taxi driver could not find a way to get through the hotel street. We rented a cab and spent the only day at Delhi sightseeing. The hotel is not really close to anything. The area is as any other area in Delhi. I would stay in Connaught Place, the only decent place in this city.

Fantastic hotel one of the best my wife and I have ever stayed in no matter where we have been to in the world. I cannot recommend them highly enough. However stay away from Holiday India tours as they are cheating people all over who use the net to book trips to India which they did to my wife and I.

Excellent place, but difficult to find at night.

This is an excellent place but it is inside a gated community and is very difficult to reach in the night, as the main approach is closed (I think from 10pm till 6am) I stayed there for two separate nights on transit (late night arrival, early morning leaving, so I cannot say anything about their food.

While the hotel is clean neat and tidy it has some negative points too ! 1) Water pressure in the bathrooms is pathetic ( room 320 ) , the sink had no hot water and cold water was just a dribble had to fill a bottle and brush my teeth ! their mechanic never turned up nor was it looked into.. Shower was also just enough to run the soap off , the hand shower had a very awkward position. So the bath room barring the pot was a put off !

On day one of stay a buffet was arranged and they had a good food spread., on day two there was no buffet and had to order from the room , A room service boy came up to take order and he curtly told me you could order only one item etc etc it is a real put off ! they have neither prices for breakfast nor would they like to serve you breakfast in full ??.while it mentions buffet included in rates, this is cheating !.

Do not even think of hiring a car from here ! It is a real rip off at astronomical rates and the car you get can be an 'anatomical classic piece' with all parts apart inside , The car I got had flies, mosquitoes and assorted insects which did not go out even after the end of my trip,.a hotel of this stature should stoop to such levels in making money ! it is a shame.

Ultimately It is a mixed bag , good house keeping , clean neat , but must be on guard against points above.

No hot water in the shower

Stayed on July 3rd. Needed to find a hotel which allows our pet. This appeared most clean and acceptable per the pictures on the home page. Otherwise, I would not have stayed here. Hotel was generally clean. There was no hot water in the shower at all. Foods were all Indian and no western. Staff were very polite and helpful except a couple at reception.

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit einem großen und sehr bequemen Bett. Mein Zimmer hat ein großes Fenster und das Badezimmer hat alles was man braucht. Ich habe hervorragend geschlafen trotz Zimmer Richtung Straße. Das Personal an der Rezeption sind freundlich und als ich gewartet habe, wurde ich mit Chai Masala bedient. Alle sehr freundlich hier.

ホテル外観は写真よりも暗め。周辺は現地色が強く、道も混雑した印象。同ホテルのレストランは、味は悪くないが現地の相場でいうと高め。日本円で考えると普通くらい。
部屋は清潔で日本のビジネスホテルと同じ程度。シャワーの水圧は問題ないが、温度がぬるかった。

ちょっと面白い場所

第一印象は悪くなかった。カロルバーグ地区とはいえ、かなり外れである。
基本的に団体客が多いようで、個人旅行でなおかつ連泊者には向かないかも。
場所的にはちょっと面白いところだ。寺院・遺跡などには遠いが、メトロのブルーラインに近く、近所の商店もこじんまりとはしているが面白い。ニューデリーにはまだ少ないコンビニやスーパーもあり、ひと駅先の駅前にはちょっと大きめな食料品のスーパーもある。
ホテルのコンセプトとしてはもちろん高級ではなく、かといって最低でもない。
入浴はシャワーのみ。朝食付きの場合ブッフェ形式ではあるが、品数は少ない。やや暗めの室内で、やたらと係員が多い。部屋はまあまあ綺麗。セントラルヒーティングを標榜してはいるが、温度設定は十分ではない。インディラ・ガンジー国際空港まではタクシーで６５０ルピーであった。
フロントの対応は悪くなかった。
