Excellent service, comfort could be improved.

The service was excellent considering it is Covid times with a lot of families in the property. Masks are required throughout the whole property except for your own room and when sitting down to dine. The bed in our room however was very uncomfortable and has sunken in. Had to sleep sideways and at an angle because of the gradient. Breakfast was excellent, again considering there were many people, and they managed it very well with good safety measures like masks and rubber gloves required. Our little son enjoyed the stay very much.

A Vacation Bonus

Our stay at the Quality Hotel Skjaergarden was not in our original plans. We were in the area in order to take the ferry from Norway to Denmark. However, due to our GPS sending us around in a huge circle, we got there just in time to see our ferry depart. The ferry personnel recommended Quality. What made it stand out for us were the people who work there. They go out of their way to insure that everything is right. Also, there is an air of genuine friendliness. The next day, our ship was cancelled due to high winds. So, we spent another night at Quality. By this point, they all felt like close, dear friends. I should also mention that it was a weekend and there were lots of families with small children because attached to the hotel is a pool/water park and the kids were having a ball!

Awesome time with kids

Spent the weekend there with kids to «Get away» a couple of days. We were welcomed to a pirate themed hotel and the kids were Loving it from the first minute till the end. Great food and great pools. We Are coming back!

Meget bra service fra resepsjonen når det ble påpekt om ting i rommet som ikke helt levde opp til standard.

Et flott opphold på et fint hotell. Nydelig frokost med rikt utvalg, veldig hyggelige ansatte og en alt i alt veldig god opplevelse. Kveldsbuffeten er imidlertid en kostbar opplevelse, to voksne og to tenåringer kan raskt koste det samme som rommet for et døgn. Her opplevde vi at kost/nytte ikke stod seg i samme grad, for oss.

Huikea hotelli Norjan kaunilla rannikolla. Monenlaista kylpylätoimintaa koko perheelle. Erinomainen aamupala. Minulla on vain hyvää sanottavaa tästä hotellista. Ainoa asia joka häiritsi kolleegaani oli kylpylän puolelta koko hotelliin levittyvä (joskin huoneissa jo laimentunut) kloorin haju. Se voi häiritä herkkiä ihmisiä. Itse en olisi edes huomannut sitä, ellei matkaseurani olisi huomauttanut.

Skuffet! Dyrt hotel der bassengområdet er ikke inkluder i prisene. Bassenget og vannskiene har forskjellig åpningstid. Ikke gratis parkering. De har aktiviteter som biljardbord og shuffleboard, men de var delvis ødelagt. Lekerommet er og ser slitt ut. Hadde et familierom som var stort og kaldt.

Selve hotellet er ganske gammelt og slitt, og vegg til vegg teppe på gulvet gjør det selvsagt vanskelig å rengjøre skikkelig, så gulvet så litt skittent ut. Badet var rent, men det trengtes litt sparkel her og der og man kunne se inn under flisene langs dusjhjørnet. Hele rommet så ut som om det ble bygget på 80 tallet og lampene og alle ledninger/kontakter så like gamle ut. Hele hotellet trenger en real oppussing, men alt i alt helt ok hotell, men komfortable senger, hyggelige ansatte og hyggelig atmosfære. Rolig og stille, hørte ikke noe særlig til andre.

Ikke glem noe på rommet

Fint opphold med hyggelige ansatte. Men om du glemmer noe på rommet, må du både ringe og sende e-post flere ganger i ettertid for at de skal huske å hjelpe deg. Det tok et par uker før vi fikk skjorten tilsendt, og den skulle ikke lenger enn til Oslo. Opplevde at vi måtte mase.

60 års feiring

Flott mottakelse med champis på rommet( forhånds bestilt) og mannen fikk god opplevelse på sin 60 års dag med bading . Selve rommet var litt stusselig med bare en stol og ikke noe bord, måtte sette vannkokeren på gulvet. Litt stusselig med tomatsalat ( en skål med bare tomater) til biffen .

Flott beliggenhet og reine rom og fellesarealer. God frokost med godt utvalg i varme og kalde retter. Savna berre litt meir søtbakst til kaffien. Betalte 125,- for tilgang til badeland. Flott at me kunne bruke utebassenget eit par timar etter utsjekk på føremiddagen.

Idyllisk beliggenhet

Hotellet ligger i svært idylliske omgivelser med utsikt til skjærgården fra restauranten og terrassen. Rommet mitt lå på bakkenivå og hadde bare utsikt til nabolaget, men utover at jeg måtte trekke for gardinene utgjorde ikke det noe stort problem. Det er rikelig med strømuttak, men det kunne med fordel vært en masterbryter for lyset ved sengene; det er litt slitsomt å slå av/på hver lampe separat. God restaurant og trivelig og oppmerksomt personale. Parkeringen var ikke avskrekkende dyr. Litt langt å gå til Langesund sentrum, men det går busser. Kommer gjerne igjen.

Helt greit hotell. Hyggelig personell som var hjelpsomme. God frokost med bra utvalg. Det som trekker ned er prisen for å bruke bassenget og renholdet. På rommet mitt var det lenge siden noen hadde tørket støv. I tillegg var det ikke støvsugd under sengene. Lå mye støv og annet der. I dusjen på badet var det sorte flekker på flisene som minnet om sopp. Dette var nok grunnet gamle bad.

Fint for familier

Et fint familie hotell som tilrettelegger for store og små. Fin velkomst med gratis is og tegnesaker til barna. Selve hotellet er fint og lever opp til forventningene. God frokost! Badeanlegget er absolutt populært for store og små, men synes det skortet litt på renholdet. Det var mye søppel, snusposer ol, i bassenget som ikke ble fjernet mellom fredag og lørdag. Toalettene var heller ikke rengjort i denne perioden. Men vi kommer helt klart til å besøke hotellet igjen!

Rommet var ganske slitent. Vi booket bare rommet og måtte betale ekstra for badeland. Vi badet bare før avreise kl 11 og da er kun basseng åpent, ikke sklie osv. Tror vi finner noe annet neste gang.

Utmerket sted for barna på 2, 7 og 9 år. Badeland skulle vært inkludert under oppholdet, men det måtte vi betale ekstra for. Vi var ikke fornøyde med bufféen da det var lite valg av kjøtt. Det var flere sauser å velge mellom, og kun kalv eller laks. Rommet var fint, men klamt og ingen ventilasjon. Veldig lytt mellom rommene og jeg hørte paret ved siden av krangle og hørte alt som ble sagt! Barna hadde heldigvis sovnet. Badeland var topp!

To nydelige dager på hotell med en fantastisk stab

Fantastisk personale både i resepsjon, restaurant og bar. Veldig serviceorientert og hyggelige. Svært imøtekommende. Hotellet må være nyoppusset - i alle fall er det veldig delikat. Vi hadde ikke bedt om sjøutsikt, men vi fikk rom i øverste etasje (4) med den mest praktfulle utsikten. Vi kommer gjerne igjen og da vil vi nyte det lekre bassenget som man svømmer ut til enda mer. Det var deilig med frisk luft og deilig varmt vann. Vi liker å ha det stille og rolig. Det var det nå, men til sommeren tenker jeg det koker. Tusen takk for oss. Dette var 2 deilige dager selvom grunnen til at vi kom var en bisettelse.

Could be a nice experience for a family with children, if it wasn't for all the surprises: you litterally have to make the kids bed yourself (at that price!) when arriving in the room, and the total is rather expensive when you consider that you must add an access to the swimming pool (kr. 500,-) and the outdoor parking (kr. 120,-) on top of the daily rate of the hotel.
Good breakfast. The room itself was slightly disappointing (very poor soundproofing, moisture in the shower...).
