Førde Hotel is located in the middle of fjords and mountains with roots dating back to 1860. We have 76 rooms, a lobby bar, conference rooms and a restaurant.

Perfect for meetings, events and stays all year round. Førde Hotel is a traditional hotel with its own spa department, restaurant and lobby bar.

Comfortable hotel

Comfortable hotel that needs an external makeover and some internal areas a tad tired. Rooms comfortable but bathroom very small. Restaurant ok, limited menu but food well cooked. Breakfast was good. Sfatt friendly and helpful.

We parked in the back underground. Safe and out of the weather. We were on the street side so it was quite noisy. With the windows closed, it was quiet. Nice walk across the river to the shopping area with multiple food trucks.

One night stay in Førde

The hotel is renovated inside, but outside is not. So don’t be shocked. Hence why I gave a bit smaller rating as well. Breakfast was great, pretty big selection of things. :)

The stay was good. Only thing to complain about is the location. As it lays 20 meters away from a very busy road. But at the same time very close to the shopping malls in Førde. Also a bit of dust on desk and nightstand. But not very noticeable.

The hotel is classy but not over the top, we felt instantly welcomed. The amenities and facilities are great. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve had in our 3 weeks in Scandinavia. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

THE LIFT IS DANGEROUS, MY 80 YEAR OLD PARTNER FELL OUT OF IT WHEN WE OPENED THE DOOR. THE FLOOR OF THE LIFT WAS NOT ALIGNED WITH THE FIRST FLOOR. THE DOOR SHOULD NOT OPEN UNTIL THE TWO ARE COMPLETELY ALIGNED.

Really easy to find, parking easy at the hotel.
Room very comfortable. Bed and linen lovely.
Bathroom great with excellent shower.
Great breakfast - everything you could want.
Disappointed there was no BBC or World news on the TV (which annoyingly didn’t have a bracket to make it easily visible from the comfortable sofa !)

Rommet var rent og ok. Men må sies at det var veldig slitt. Avflassing av maling på veggene. Mye støy fra ute når du har rom mot trafikken. Er parkeringsgarasje, men denne er mer som et lager og ikke overvåket/lukket, så kan like så godt parkere utenfor.

En skatt åpner seg når du kommer inn dørene. Delikat innredet, perfekt beliggenhet, blide og hyggelige ansatte. Litt små rom og harde senger men en flott frokost sal med nydelig mat veier opp for det. Perfekt for oss og kommer garantert igjen og har allerede anbefalt hotellet til flere👍

Alt inne topp, alt ute forferdelig

Topp service, bra rom, veldig god frokost.

Men nå må de snart øke romprisen med 200,- og sette av til fond for å kjøpe; Høytrykk spyler, leie Lift og noen hundrede liter hvit maling.

Hotellet ser så jævlig ut utvendig at man skulle tro det snart skal rives - spesielt den gamle delen. Var ille ifjor, værre i år.

Vurderer snart å kjøpe en høytrykk spyler til de så de kan vaske vekk den værste grønska og sorte soppen...

Bestilte rom med 2 enkel senger, fikk rom med dobbelseng.
Madrassene var veldig harde, fekk ryggsmerter i løpet av natta.
Frokost var så som så, varmmat ikkje ordentlig varm, speilegg var krympa.
I beskrivelsen stå det at det er Netflix på rommet, det var det ikkje. Heller ikkje mulig å dele skjerm fra iPad/iPhone, bare Android og Windows

Fornøyd med opphold, men fikk ikke tlf tilbakemel.

Oppholdet var fint, gode senger og god frokost. Minuset med oppholdet var at jeg glemte min iPhone lader og ringte hotellet om dette samme ettermiddag. Fikk beskjed om at de skulle ringe meg opp igjen. Fikk min datter til å hente den 4 dager etterpå, men den var ikke funnet. Jeg vet med sikkerhet at laderen sto igjen i en stikkontakt på rom 602.

Generelt virket hotellet noget forladt , med områder der stod ufærdig dels. Motion rummet stod maskinerne i et hjørne . Deres så kaldte spa afd. var ikke i brug og ej nogle nogle information hvis man ønsket af bruge deres sauna .

Koselig gammelt hotell. Artig rom, spesielt, men praktisk innredet. Veldig bra bad.
Super service fra betjeningen, bortsett fra frukosten:
Frukostområdet er praktisk plassert og fint. Men der manglet personale. Ingen som ryddet bordene, ingen påfyll av hverken mat, drikke, bestikk, glass eller noe som helst. Noen sa ifra inn til kjøkkenet, men ingenting skjedde.
Det ble skiver med syltetøy og ett pappbeger med feil juice, ett bløtkokt egg som var veldig hardkokt etc.
Synd at frukosten drar ned dette oppholdet. Hadde vært veldig høy score om de fikk til den...

Dårlig og slitt hotell

Vi ble møtt med mye rot og manglende oversikt ved innsjekking. Vi ba om et stillere rom, men fikk et dårlig rom med vindu rett ut mot innkjøringen til et parkeringsområde. Rommet var lit, med trangt bad, der sluket i vasken var tett. Ellers litt slitt hotell med beliggenhet mot en trafikkert hovedgate.

Bad cleaning but good breakfast... you choose ;)

Poor cleaning. The bathroom was not cleaned properly. Filthy doors. Dirty bed. Not a pleasant experience regarding this aspect.

As a positive note the breakfast was very nice. The lobby room was cozy and good for relaxing after a long day.

Et godt sted å overnatte i Førde

Fint og rent rom, men det fine badet var litt lite og kunne hatt en knagg på døren til å henge noe på. Veldig gode senger med fint sengetøy av god kvalitet. Vi satte stor pris på at frokosten varte til 10:30! Frokosten var i tillegg en nytelse!! Her kommer vi gjerne tilbake 👍😊😊

Peut beaucoup mieux faire

L’hôtel est bien placé, mais est vieillot. De plus, la poubelle de notre chambre n'était pas vide, la chambre pas chauffée no chauffable alors qu'il faisait au pus 12°.
Le petit déjeuner est très moyen...
Malheureusement, pas beaucoup de choix à Folde.
