The staff were very courteous, helpful and friendly. The pictures of the rooms on booking were far nicer than reality. We had too quad rooms that were basically a bad and an unmade pull out couch. While the location was good I would not go back.

Here are the problems we encountered: (1) the room was highly scented (I think from the sheets and pillowcases which must have been laundered in highly scented detergent); (2) the hotel makes you use a revolving door to get inside; the problem was I couldn’t get my luggage in fast enough; I got caught in the door and had to pull myself out which caused me to fall (luckily a couple behind me and my sister broke our falls). They have a non-revolving door; they just block it so you cannot use it; (3) I couldn’t turn up the heat for the first two nights and it was cold; (4) the sofa bed sagged badly in the middle and was very uncomfortable; (5) the breakfast was mediocre at best; (6) the young woman at reception at night seemed poorly trained (I didn’t feel like I could talk to her about the heat problem); (7) my key mysteriously stopped working after the second night (no explanation of why); (8) the room was of depressing decor (in contrast to the lobby which looks quite nice). On the plus side: the room was big and the location was ideal. But I definitely would not stay here again.

We stayed at Duomo Hotel & Apartments in Milan and overall had a comfortable and convenient experience. The best part of this property is definitely the location — it is only a few minutes’ walk from the Duomo, which made sightseeing, shopping, and dining extremely easy and enjoyable. The room size was reasonable for a family: not overly spacious, as you might expect in central Milan, but still large enough for us to stay comfortably without feeling cramped. The staff members were polite and professional, though the interaction felt a bit formal and distant; they seemed to be simply completing their tasks rather than showing the warm, genuine friendliness we experienced at other hotels in Florence and Rome during the same trip. The room itself was clean and well maintained, meeting expectations for this category of accommodation, though there was nothing particularly special or distinctive about the design or atmosphere. Everything functioned as expected and provided a reliable base for exploring the city. Overall, Duomo Hotel & Apartments is a solid and practical choice if your priority is location and convenience, especially for families, even if the service and character feel a bit less personal than elsewhere in Italy.

Greetings could indeed be enhanced at times, as they occasionally appeared mechanical in nature. It may be advisable for the hotel to clarify that it is not specifically family-oriented, but rather designed for couples. Furthermore, the location was suboptimal, with considerable noise emanating from the street during the night, thereby hindering restful sleep.

Very close to the Duomo and shopping district. Room is spacious with lots of bathroom amenities, but my biggest complaint is that the AC is basically non existent and even though we set the thermostat to the coldest temperature the room temperature would just go up making the room hot. Also another complaint was the checkout process with a really rude front desk receptionist. Breakfast was good with lots of options, and the breakfast staff were really friendly. Overall, I appreciated the convenient location.

I had a great stay at Duomo Hotel & Apartments! The service was excellent, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Having an elevator was a big plus, especially when traveling with luggage. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the Duomo and other main attractions.
The only minor inconvenience was the parking, which is located about three blocks away and four levels down in a garage, but it was manageable.

Location! The location is easily walkable to the Galeria and the Duomo. The hotel room was nice and loved the complimentary wine and snacks. Loved that you could access your netflix account. Customer service was great at the front desk. The worst part of the room was the view from our window. Absolutely horrible. We actually decided to stay in Milan for two more nights but not willing to pay that much for that view. Changed hotels.

The property uses images that are not what the room looks like, which is dishonest. My room was outdated; however, the real problem was the noise. Construction outside my window from 10:30 pm until 6:30 am, I asked the front desk for earplugs, and they never brought any. They should have informed us at check-in and given a discount. They lied about the room type and layout upon booking. We were offered a very dirty room when arrived with an extremely small bedroom. When confronted about the issues they asked to charge us double the rates to give us a clean room and denied cancellation or refund. This is clearly a scam operation in Milan and needs to be exposed.

Quartz tile bathroom luxurious shower gels etc! A bit pricy but worth it !

While two guest families including ours are waiting for luggage pick up, the representative a gentleman with grey hair and is in suites keeps talking on the phone without responding the two guests standing right in front of him for more than 7mins. Duomo Hotel and Apartments was a lovely place to stay in Milan. It was a convenient 5 minute walk to the Duomo, however was quiet and safe at the same time. Perfect location and would stay there again. Room was a decent size, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend this hotel! It was our first time in Milan and we were very happy with our stay. Central location and walking distance to everything. The rooms were well maintained and air conditioned. Unlike some reviews I read, the air-conditioning was not at all a concern. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. An ironing board and iron was available upon request and the fridge was fully stocked! We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out on our last day and were able to grab it right before we left the city.

Duomo hotel & apartments is in a very convenient location. It took less than 5 minutes to walk to the Duomo. The parking situation gave us the most headache. The message sent out by Expedia gave us 2 parking choices but the hotel insist on us only parking at Meda, which actually has bigger parking spaces and a much better parking garage.
