Room was as expected. Doors in corridor were a bit loud. Nice toiletries provided. Four people in the room and only two sets of towels. Took a while for staff to locate additional towels. Biggest complaint was the smoke from the casino. First night was bad in the lobby. Second night seemed better.

This hotel truly has the potential to be one of the best places to stay and enjoy the surrounding area; it just needs more attention, care, and proper maintenance.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. Many surfaces were dusty, there was dust and hair inside the drawers, and several appliances appeared dirty even after we requested room cleaning. It seemed that our concerns were not properly addressed.

The Wi-Fi signal was very weak, and some of the appliances were damaged and looked worn out.

It is a pity because the property itself is beautiful and has great potential, but it currently feels neglected and in need of better upkeep.

The casino was a great environment. Our room was clean, renovated and spacious. Loved the makeup desk for women. Air conditioned and comfortable. Nice deep soaker tub. Restaurant and pub were both good- chicken burger was awesome. Staff at the front desk were super kind. Staff in the restaurant were great as well. Would stay here again definitely.

We had a great stay in early June. Very convenient and to have a gas station right at the hotel. If you are planning on traveling around the Rockies, this makes a great base to start your day from.

Staff were friendly and room was clean and cozy. We will be staying here again.

My Wife and I are really gamblers so not much to say about the Casino but we sure it's nice

The room was clean, looked recently renovated. Front office staff was courteous.
The restaurant staff were the worst. Food was just average. Staff forgot to put all food items in the bag, and when I returned to tell them that I am missing items from my order, staff said they are sure that they packed everything (suggesting that I am lying), and had the audacity to ask me to bring all the boxes down to the restaurant so they can check. Bear in mind, after a long day of travel, my family had already started eating as the kids were hungry. During that discussion, one of the staff checked in the kitchen and behold, the missing box was still in the kitchen. Of course they apologized for the error, and I was not mad that they missed packing all items, it happens. They suggested that I was lying, when they didn't do the basic courtesy to first check themselves, and accused me of lying. So yeah, let this instance be known for others to be aware of.

This Casino Hotel was quiet and very well appointed.
We were upgraded for free to a lovely , large suite with lots of room and a fireplace, facing the mountain range.
The staff made a lovely effort to make sure we had all we needed.
We enjoyed eating at the Bar inside the casino.

I wouldn’t recommend this place even to my worst enemy. Terrible service, the bathtub was so dirty and so was the shower. After a hike all we wanted was a nice warm shower but when we saw how dirty our bathroom was we just wanted a quick rinse and get out of there as quickly as possible. All the drawers were filthy with stains we didn’t dare to put our clothes in them. The phone didn’t work, neither did the fridge. All the vending machines were broken we could not get water! The pool floor was also nasty, the staff was rude.
Again safe your money do not come here!

Room was clean, restaurant wasn’t open for early breakfasts opened at 8 a.m. kind of odd time, especially as a lot of golfers stay there. Food in the pub was very good, service was good. Pool, water slide and hot tub, also very very small “workout “ room. Reasonably priced with various types of rooms. Advertised as newly renovated rooms. Close to Kananaskis Country and 20 minutes from golf courses and ski area. Half hour or so to Canmore and 45 minutes to Banff, so good location. Old adage you get what you pay for.

Restaurant quit serving food at 9 pm. We checked in at 10 pm. The hallways echo profoundly. One woman was speaking on her cellphone at 8:00 am. You could hear her clearly. Real echo chamber. The room doors slammed shut and echoed down the hallway. Didn't sleep very well at all.

We just stayed over night to go skiing the next day. Price range was good for 2 rooms side by side. It worked well for our needs. Staff were friendly and easy to approach. Pool was cool as per grandkids. We lost a phone charger block and cord but all in all worked for an overnight stay. We did not go to the Casino or use the restaurant.

We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. When we arrived, the room was clearly not cleaned properly, there were stains all over the floor, and to make matters worse, there were broken pieces of glass on the carpet that I unfortunately discovered by stepping on them. It was both unsafe and unacceptable.

We reported this to the front desk, but they didn’t seem concerned or take it seriously, which was frustrating. On top of that, our room key was deactivated during our stay because the staff didn’t realize we were booked for two nights instead of one, causing unnecessary inconvenience.

The casino and restaurants also felt very depressing and empty, which added to the overall disappointing atmosphere.

We had been really looking forward to this weekend getaway and had high expectations, but the experience fell far short. When we decided to leave early and mentioned it at checkout, the staff only realized then that we were checking out a day earlier. Although they said they would speak to a supervisor, they returned with a simple “okay, you’re good to go” and showed no interest in understanding why we were leaving early.

Overall, the lack of cleanliness, safety concerns, poor customer service, and lackluster atmosphere made this a very negative experience. I would not return or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was good. Not happy that we couldn't order food in the pub even though we got there before closing. They gave us a menu so wouldn't that indicate that the kitchen was still open. And then to be told 5 minutes later that it was closed and yet they served others after us ?? We had been out all day and were hungry and just wanted something to tide us over till breakfast.
Also our room keys didn't work the morning we checked out. Housekeeping only cleaned our room. Garbage wasn't taken out nor the bathroom cleaned.
Between us, of us we probably spent over $3K in the casino and to be treated that poorly is just bad customer service. I have stayed here several times before and was treated great, so I'm not sure why the standards seemed to have slipped with our stay.

Staff was great. Hotel was ok. The TV did not work the first night, although got fixed. We had people banging on our door and woke us up around 3 am Sat night and were very loud....they were having a party in the hall. We asked them to be quiet as we were trying to sleep but that did not happen until amost 5 am....we did mention things to the front desk but nobody wanted to do anything and I felt that we paid for the room and should have been able to sleep. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everyone in the room above you, so likely will not stay again.
