The internet was extremely slow, only about 10 MB, and only on one device. The minimum internet speed must be not less than 50 MB. Because of the slow internet, I wanted to cancel my stay, but they wouldn't let me do so without forfeiting all my money. I originally booked for seven days, but after two days I was ready to leave.

I recently stayed here for 2 nights. While the location and amenities were decent, I found that the hotel didn't quite live up to its 5-star rating.

Pros:
- The breakfast was a highlight with a wide variety of options, which I really appreciated.
- The hotel staff were generally friendly and accommodating.

Cons:
- The rooms and bathrooms were outdated, more in line with what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel.
- The hair dryer in our room wasn’t working. After a technician came to check it, he claimed it was fine, but it stopped working again shortly after. I had to take a photo of the broken wire and show it to the reception to get it fixed properly.
- The bathroom had several issues: mold and water damage on the door frame, an old tub with paint stains/scratches, and a sink and design that felt very outdated.
- The room wasn’t what I expected from a 5-star hotel—more attention to maintenance and renovation is needed.

In conclusion, while the location and breakfast were solid, the condition of the rooms and bathrooms really let the experience down. If you’re expecting a luxury experience, I would recommend looking for a place with more modern amenities and updated interiors

Disappointing Stay – Poor Service and Outdated Roo

I was really disappointed with my experience at the Crowne Plaza Antalya. The staff attitude was unhelpful and at times quite dismissive — it felt like guests were more of an inconvenience than a priority. Service was slow, and basic requests took far too long to be addressed.

The room itself was outdated, with worn furniture and a generally tired feel that didn’t match the photos online. It also wasn’t very tidy on arrival — dust in corners, marks on the walls, and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

For a hotel carrying the Crowne Plaza name, I expected much better standards of service and maintenance. Unfortunately, this stay didn’t live up to expectations and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again

Room 812 (Junior Suite) has everything a 4-star hotel should have. Nothing beyond that. Just the bare minimum. The room was spacious but mediocre. The bathroom had a very unpleasant smell, and one of the showers didn't work. The restaurant menu is limited, bland, oily, and overpriced. You're not allowed to bring in outside food. So you either eat their junk food or go out to eat. If you want a quiet place to sleep, this isn't the hotel for you, as there are bars across the street that play loud music until late at night. But if you don't mind the noise, it shouldn't be a problem. The morning reception is good and helpful. The evening reception is substandard and is like the reception of a 1-star hotel. One of them pretended not to understand English when he initially did, and the other (I forget his name) seemed stressed, frustrated, and trying to start an argument while trying to correct a poorly written bill. The payment system for room service, laundry, and the restaurant is 0-star, as they rush you through the bill and ask you to sign papers for paying with a card not requiring a pin. The same person correcting the bill told me that guests run away without paying and that I may not pay it later or \"I might forget it,” which later he apologized for, saying it was just a joke. It's truly embarrassing. Please respect guests; they are not friends or acquaintances. The staff should conduct themselves professionally. The jokes you made can be not funny. This hotel is nothing short of amazing. The building is beautiful, with great architecture. But the staff make the experience exceptional. Most employees of the hotel will go out of their way to make you feel welcomed, accommodated and assist you.

Those who deserve a special highlight are Ozkan (hope I spelt that correctly) the Duty Manager, Ata, Efe, Taha, Canpolit and a gentleman who worked in the mornings and always wore black attire. I didn't catch his name, he made sure my coffee was perfect every morning.

Other details, the beach is 5mins away, the spa facilities are lovely, breakfast and dinner were excellent. I could go on. The malls are a drive away though, if you want to shop properly. But taxis are reasonably priced.

Although there were a few niggly issues that arose here and there, nothing to spoil the overall beauty of the holiday.

Top marks are definitely deserved. Highly recommended. Thank you all again.

The Mountain View’s and the beach was the best aspect of the hotel. The hotel itself seemed a bit dated. My worst experience about the hotel was the heat upon entering the building. The heat hits you and there is no air conditioning in the foyer/reception. The AC was also not good in the room. I had to call for an engineer who replaced the filter but even then it wasn’t as cool as one would expect. Food was mediocre. It would have been nice if there was a buffet option and if dinner could be served beyond 9pm.

We really enjoyed our stay at Crown Plaza Antalya Hotel, Staff are amazing nice very helpful, and very welcoming, they deliver to our room platter of fruit at our arrival, and a big cake few days after to celebrate our marriage anniversary and also breakfast take away on our departure day as we left early in the morning, the hotel has a splendid on the sea and swimming pool. We enjoyed jacuzzi in our room it was a very nice surprise as we didn't know before our arrival. Definitely we do all we can to come back with our kids. Thank you for everything.

The hotel was nice and clean, right by the beach. Beautiful view from the small balcony. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choices. Large swimming pool. I liked the rooftop restaurant - the atmosphere there was really nice, with a great view, live music, and cocktails.

The rooms need some updates, though. Also, when we arrived at the hotel, no staff came to greet us or help with our luggage.

That said, I would stay again.

Nice hotel despite bar music nearby

I stayed at the Grand Plaza and was genuinely impressed. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an elegant interior and a wide range of facilities—including even a hairdresser on-site. Everything inside the hotel was clean, stylish, and well-maintained.

The highlight for me was the staff—they were exceptionally friendly and truly made my stay enjoyable. One standout moment was when I returned my hire car and a concierge kindly collected it for me at the car park, which I thought was a lovely touch.

The only downside, which isn’t the hotel’s fault, was the noise from a nearby bar. Loud music played until around 1 a.m., which could be a disturbance for light sleepers. Perhaps some additional soundproofing could help in the future.

That said, if you can tolerate a bit of nighttime noise, this is a fantastic hotel with top-tier service. I’d definitely recommend it, especially thanks to the wonderful team working there.

For a 5 star hotel my stay was really average. Service in both restaurants was really poor, lack of attentiveness and service. Some reception staff are really rude and not helpful. Housekeeping on the other hand is great and friendly. Good location but that’s about it- asked for a beach towel and got given 1 that was ripped. Really disappointed in my stay, I expected better for 5 stars. Restaurant staff just stand around and chat to each other, not pay attention to paying customers there was a multiple times I had to get up and order from the bar.

Upon entering room 906, I was unfortunately greeted by a large cockroach. The bathroom also had a rather unpleasant sewage odor. This hotel looks nice from outside and when you first enter but the rooms are small, we booked 2 rooms for our family of 6 and found the rooms to be small for us breakfast was included and we found the selection of food to be limited we inly stayed one night, we did go swimming in the inside pool on the first day with the kids and while the kids where playing we had a member of the pool staff come over and tell us to tell our kids to be quiet as there was a massage parlour next door which i found really rude as there was other kids in the pool and the only cam up to us and said it to us, how do u tell your kids to be quiet when there having fun in the pool can the not laugh so this is why i say it isnt really a family orientated hotel so i wouldnt book again, we just felt like we was being watched all the time because we where a large family of 6.

This is the word the most worst day I ever had when I went to the hotel they gave me a room inside it smell smoking, boom the room smell like smoke the whole night there was no AC in the room. I called the person that is really hard for me to decide to open the windows. Also, the washroom was dirty not clean tub was really really dirtyand then I asked him the washroom is not clean. The person told me that their supplies in the bathroom and I can clean the bathroom by myself so I would not recommend this to anybody.

Check-in took nearly an hour. We were bit early but we had informed beforehand. When we got the rooms they were still not ready.
Power-cut happened one night and no support was provided during that time. No update or apology was provided during or after the power-cut. I would expect hotel of this quality to have some form of backup supply for electricity.

Hotel is very convenient area with the beach right across the street. There is an underground tunnel from that takes you to the beach if crossing is an issue. Room is comfy and the view of the beach is beautiful. The girl at the travel desk was also extremely helpful. She did a good job explaining to us all the nice areas and which areas to avoid due to being a tourist trap. She also spoke arabic and gave us good instructions on how to use taxi services in the area. Overall great hotel and good staff. Although the food could be a bit better since it can be pretty bland at times especially the dinner options. Breakfast was better with many options to choose from. Overall would give it 9/10 experience.

We travel a lot, and I’ve never experienced a hotel that inconveniences its guests so much. First, you can’t charge anything to your room. Second, staff disturbs you constantly calling or knocking on your door to disturb you. Third, it’s really hot. Like, REALLY hot…in the lobby, dining, elevator, and even rooms. When you go somewhere they turn the air off (which doesn’t work very well anyway) and it takes hours to cool off the room. When you get back from a hot excursion, the last thing you want to experience is a hot room. We had more than one bad experience with the guy who books airport transfers, Semir (I think?).

The man who took our bags and got us water when we first arrived was extremely kind and helpful. Shoutout to him. The hotel is beautiful, and the tunnel to the beach is a nice addition. Just why do they keep it so hot?

Horrible experience

I don't recommend this hotel at all. Don't be conned by the name \"Crowne Plaza\". You are in Turkey, after all. Nothing but rip off. We stayed there 8 night and pre paid meals.
Cross contaminated foods that sent my son to the hospital, although prepaid food they came knocking on my door at the middle of the night for 108 liras for a tiny bottle of coke. Bf sent flowers from Cicek Sepeti on my bday the receptionist didnt accept it. Although Osman bay did celebrate my bday with a nice cake after finding that out. The tour service offers taxis to the airpor, its suck a rip off and they were 30 minutes late

bed sheets and pillows made me sweat a lot while sleeping. I think it's nylon. The fabric must be cotton. This is the healthiest and cleanest. The vehicle charging area is outside the hotel. The room is clean but the furniture is very old. We stayed in a suite room with 2 adults and 3 children. But there were no children's beds. Instead, 3 folding beds were placed. It is very uncomfortable for children who will stay in the suite room.

There's a lot to say about this Crowne Plaza. We visited from the UK, and the brand is a known brand, hence why we booked it. Apart from the great service provided by all staff, there's not much positives to share. Though the property is close to the beach, it feels removed from the beach and feels like a deadend in comparison to the other hotels nearby. Feels like there is no life here and quite boring. No music, nothing except for the piano that plays for 2 hours every evening. We didn't even bother to use the pool because it wasn't appealing. Absolutely nothing is happening here. You will need to walk out of the hotel a bit or take a cab to experience some life.

The spa is in the basement, and the whole floor has a damp smell and needs a lot of air. We didn't bother using the spa because it was just not looking great. The shop in the basement sells fake branded products. Though I understand that this is known in Turkey but for a brand like Crowne Plaza, I would expect real products only.

The breakfast spread is very, very good. We are happy with the options. The dinner, though, wasn't that great. We ordered beef Shish and Adanna Kebab, and both came out tasteless, with no salt, no seasoning. The grilled chicken was bland, too. The fish dish was great, that is, both the sea bass and sea bream was a bit tasty. For a hotel that does not allow food from outside, I would expect great tasting food.

The cleaning of our room was not properly done. It felt like the cleaners only

Crowne Plaza

Overall the Crowne Plaza Hotel is comfortable, clean, easy to stay at. The Front Desk staff are professional and friendly, always saying hello or can I help with anything. The food is good. The lobby is warm when entering but I can understand why. I do wish there was pool side drink service, you would have to track someone down if you wanted a drink. Finally I would have prefered having prices marked on merchandise at the market. With no prices, one feels like they are being taken advantage of if not native. Overall I would give it a thumbs up.

Property needs upgrades & updating

I booked a six night stay, but checked out after one night. It was 43° outside and it does not seem the property had an air-conditioned lobby so I found it uncomfortable and oppressive the rooms looked like they had not been updated or upgraded for decades after my late night check-in I went to the bar for a lemonade, and they made me pay for the drink before they even served it… I have never seen service like that before. So that my review is fair and balanced, the front desk and sales manager did approve my early check out after one night and I received fast credit for my six night booking… Five nights were immediately credited. Another positive is that the pool area looked nice, but Antalya in July is overrun by families with screaming children and toddlers throwing tantrums and so I am certain a day at the pool would be unpleasant based on the crowd I saw in the restaurant during breakfast

We are one family and booked 3 rooms, repeated anticipated requests to be at least near each others, On CHECK IN , reception scattered us on 3 different floors, far away from each other, despite much begging.
it was week day and not weekend, they didn’t even try to accommodate us in the same floor.
This is a business hotel, not a leisure resort, access to a tiny narrow public beach, with no offered umbrellas though connecting underground tunnel from hotel pool, tunnel closes early at 6:00 pm, then, the way to reach the beach road outside where leisure and activities are, is from main hotel entrance which is in the back street, and needs long walk around.
In Such similar cases, the hotel contracts private beach and provides shuttle bus to guests. Here it does not exist and not provided.
No leisure, parties or activities at all, which is common there in Antalya.
Lobby air conditioning turned off daily early in the evening, where outside temperatures above 40 c.
Careless housekeeping, every day they should forget something: water bottles, towels.. You need to call to avail.
Key card system failure most of the times, it doesn’t open the room door , You need to go down to front desk to re-validate.
Only 2 restaurants are there.
Breakfast and dinner are ok, but breakfast staff need more training and courtesy. 10th floor dinner staff are gentle and friendly.
Rooms are comfortable and spacious, sea and pool views are amazing. Balcony is narrow just to stand on.

Property is located in a quiet area away from everything. Property is old and this can be seen everywhere. Elevator takes long to get in it. Bathtub was leaking. The didn’t replenish the water in the room daily. We used the iron and it blew a fuse and took the power off in the whole room. We asked for a new iron and it took 25 minutes and by that time we didn’t need it anymore as we had to check-out. The manager advised she would have called back regarding the iron but never called. Extremely poor service. 3 star hotel.

Though the property is excellent, the service was completely not up to par. I would call reception and kindly ask them questions, and in response I would receive ‘don’t call here call room service’, and end the call abruptly. On the off chance they would reply, they would come up with very patronising and rude remarks, such as, ‘maybe use google to answer your question’. It does not just extend to the reception however, but each place other than the spa was completely rude and incompetent. At poolside, I kindly asked for a towel, to which I waited 45 minutes for. In the end I gave up and walked back to the hotel room soaking wet, with the guy I asked, staring at me and smiling. Whilst going past the reception on my way back to the hotel room, I heard a family of 5, being shouted out by one of the ignorant staff members, saying, ‘this is a 5 star hotel, what to you expect’. Whilst I do not know what the conversation was about, I sure as hell know that you would not be so foul to a customer, especially in public. The reception would often laugh at customers as well, such as my wife, who walked soaking wet back up to the hotel room due to being ignored 4 times for a towel. Overall, whilst the hotel itself is lovely and in a beautiful location, it does not make up for the absolutely poor service. I will mention however that the people at the spa, were absolutely fabulous and maybe the reception desk need to learn a thing or 2 or 10 from the reception at the spa.

would not recommend this hotel. It is not a 5 star hotel It should be rated at 3 stars hotel. Stayed here from May 28 to June 1, with my young daughter and a friend and her son. It was the worst experience at this hotel.
The first night the washroom smelled like sewage the curtains in the room fell no window covering called front desk, and only could offer for technician to come and fix it the following day
Housekeeping would come and clean our room every day never use any cleaning products never disinfected. She used our dirty, wet towels to wipe everywhere down the sheets smelled horrible.
When I expressed to her to use disinfectant and cleaning products in the bathroom, she said OK, but never did ( there was a language barrier ) every day when we would go out and come back our key fob to enter our room would not work
They would send random men, the bell boy room service to come and open up our door for us with the master key, which was a safety issue for us.
He explained it’s because we put our key fob too close to our cell phones, which was ridiculous.
Two days of our stay they had a really big storm rain and the rooms were flooding. The dining room was flooding the hall. The lobbies were leaking water that hotel is just falling apart. yes, it’s an older hotel but the maintenance of that hotel is unacceptable.
When I complained to management My complaint was not taken seriously. No one has contacted me in regards to this matter it’s been over a week .

Me and my husband enjoyed pur stay at the crowne plaza Antalya. The spa was great and kept us busy when the weather was bad. The breakfast was delicious and rooms provided everything you needed. The gym facilities where great however did not open till 8am could open earlier i found myself hanging around waiting for it to open. We where also stopped by security outside of the hotel everytime we came back into the building asking for our room number and if we stayed there which we found quite annoying. Overall a pleasant stay and thinking of returning in September.
