Place was great staff was friendly our only complaint was the jetted tub didn't work
Darresa
When we checked in and requested an upper level room for security purposes (we preferred not to have 2 separate entrances into the room), we were rudely told that the hotel was full but found out by checking Expedia at the same time that there was availability at the hotel. We were then told about the no smoking and no vaping rule. However, upon entering our outdated and somewhat raggedy room, the smell of cigarette smoke filled the air. The bench in the room had numerous stains, along with the carpet. And if you’re looking for peace and quiet, hopefully you won’t encounter the many kids running up and down the hallway at 9:30pm.
Jesse
Room was not cleaned, there was on the floor: pills, used water bottle, opened food, used straw. There was also marijuana in a drawer. Upon arrival we let the front desk know and they sent staff to reclean. When we returned some was cleaned, but most of the items were still remaining/dirty.
Shannon
The king room was huge, had a separated living room, desk & bar area. Had a TV in the bathroom for the jacuzzi tub, bathrobes in the closet, bed was very comfortable. We would have used the fireplace but we were there in June. Easy to find and a Target and a few food places in walking distance. We ordered from the restaurant for dinner and it was delicious. And reasonably priced.
Lisa
The spa and pools are awesome.
Naomi
It was clean and the location is close to stores and restaurants..I didn't use the spa this time but the outdoor pool was great ..my only complaint was that you could not control the AC it was preset to 72 which is too warm for me ..
Mister
The restaurant was not open on the days of my reservation.
The paint in the “Updated Bathroom” was pealing off, the bathroom looked old and dirty. The bedroom furniture was old and dated. This is not a Spa destination it’s a motel 6 with an indoor pool. Honestly it was cheap enough and available for my purposes.

We reserved the apartment that ended up being in the basement next to the laundry. The apartment itself was okay, roomy, clean and well appointed, but had to go down 15 steps and by the laundry to get there. It was quite.

Excellent spa area: 2 pools & hot tub! Room was clean, comfortable & spacious! Comfy bed! Lovely stay…. But no complimentary breakfast.
Patricia
Loved the pool and hot tub. The room was very old and dated, though it was clean. They really need to do some upgrades to them.
Our room had no carpeting for which I was very thankful

Loved the stay. Comfortable clean and quiet.
Karen
Older property but was clean. Restaurant was great food but staff was lacking so service was extremely slow. Hot tub was not in service. Good location near shopping and food choices.
Sarah
Everything was wonderful and very clean. I will definitely stay here again.
Kathleen
This hotel and room was not advertised how it presents in person and I would never stay there again. We actually didn't even stay left early because of the conditions and concerns for our saftey.
Vicki
It was a very nice experience. Staff were courteous and helpful.
Kelley

The cloud 9 Restaurant which is attached to the Inn was ok. Not many options. Rooms were clean, beds are extremely hard.
Regina
Dated, rude spa staff and sub par.
Diane
c'était très bien, par contre l'eau de la piscine est un peu trop froide pour moi.
wendy
The Spa is wonderful!
VICTORIA
I DID'T HAVE BREAKFAST BUT THE SUPPER AT CLOUD 9 RESTAURANT WAS GOOD
Foster
It was an excellent stay. Very nice.
Karen
Perfect place to stay near the Capitol during early spring. The in suite fireplace is a definite plus for those chilly spring nights/mornings. Wonderful staff who care about their patrons!
Ralph
The hotel restaurant was fine - I had breakfast, and the menu consisted of typical breakfast fare. My meals were cooked properly and the service was very good. Cereal or oatmeal would have been nice.
I received a call a week before my stay that yhe pool and hot tub would be vlosed for maintenence during my stay. They woyldn't discount the daily charge, but gave vouchers for future stays.

The online pictures looked very nice, posh, but in fact it was rather a dive. Motel, not Hotel. Took forever to get someone at the front desk - I was calling for them, rapping on the desk, no one for more than 5 minutes. The rooms are dated, but comfortable. The price was high for the value. If I paid $50 less per nite, I'd say it was worth it.
Karena
Pool was under repair but other than that it was great as usual.
kevin
Not bad
Daniel
We booked a room with a jetted tub. It felt like a spa
Sarah
Family room was almost impossible to find and not located on the map. Room wasn’t locked when I finally found it. I felt unsafe . Couldn’t see outside all windows were glazed over with some kind of material so you could not see out. There was a dog barking that had apparently been left in a room… I was uncomfortable and felt unsafe
Katrina
Great all sround
Barbara
There was even stores you could walk to!
Gina
Children are “allowed” but I would NOT recommend staying here with them. The pool is “for the spa”, the staff were aggressive and rude and I will never return here. Absolutely awful experience here with my children.
Shawn
Will be staying there again!
ingried
The Room and facility were fine but they were babies crying in kids screaming and nearby rooms. Made it nearly impossible to sleep.
Michele
Nothing was good..No hot tub..or steam room, the pool was not warm at all..The room was freezing as well.. I didnt enjoy it at all..really bummed about it
Corrine
BothThe hot tub and saunas were out of commission so we did not have access to these, very disappointing.
Laura
I love the Senator Inn!! The staff are pleasant the property is clean and the restaurant is delicious! I enjoy the steam room, hot tub and saltwater pool immensely!
John
Pool and hot tub were closed due to contamination
Jana
Pool is never opened and the room was dirty
Gabriel
Pool and hot tub where broken and if you want spa service call weeks ahead … we do like this hotel .. this time just wasn’t up to par with what
Kevin
Pool and hot tub weren't working, the restraunt was closed, and breakfast was cancelled, if had of known this would have booked elsewhere.. nice hotel and friendly staff though
Christine
Booked the hotel for the pool and hot tub get there to find out the hot tub is out of order then get in the pool for not even 5 mins to have to be out of the pool for the entire night! So basically rented 2 rooms for absolutely nothing spending 370 dollars for beds to sleep in and having to spend more money on things for the kids to do since the pool and hot tub were closed !
Bambi
I was very satisfied with the hotel and room as it was exactly as represented. There was a difficulty regarding payment at check in which was entirely on me and the girl at the desk was extremely pleasant and helpful as well as patient while I was contacting my bank for release of funds due to fraud activity on my account. She was exceptional and helpful to continue my check in using another credit card and so happy to help. The only negative event was the fire in the kitchen causing me to have to leave my room for over an hour which was inconvenient and cold but no reflection of the hotel just good safety measures in place.
Antonette
I booked this hotel because of the pool for my child but at day, pool is under maintenance. Place is affordable and conveniently close to the lake where we went ice fishing.

Lizzie was very helpful.

V well equipped rooms and Lizzie at the front desk did an upgrade, but the restaurant and pool were both closed and were the reasons that we came
Lynda
I had booked a family suite, when I checked in they stated that room was not available due to water leak and they gave me two connecting rooms. Rooms are VERY outdated, office chairs were dirty, whirlpool tubs didn’t work and smells like mildew. Pool was under maintenance as well.
Rechelle
The place was very clean
Selina
Clean room, great spa tub in room. Only down fall is the beds. Not very comfortable. Nice staff. The pool was down for maintenance but hot tub was wonderful.
Helen

Tasha

Bill

Elizabeth
Pet friendly room was a bit dated, but the fact that you ould access room both from outside and inside was very convenient. Staff was thoughtful and pleasant. Parking lot plowed early following a night of snow.

We stayed in the spa suite every time now and love it! Plenty of room for the grand baby and a warm fireplace along with a clean and comfy sitting area. The staff are very welcoming and the whole vibe is chill and relaxing. Starbucks and Target are across the street in case you forgot something.

Alright..but prices are high for what you get.
Room was clean, but we booked for a romantic getaway and was disappointed that the fireplace was not useable even though it was advertised, especially for the price that was paid for 1 night. Would of loved to have an additional heat source as the room was a bit cold.

Friendly staff. Jacuzzi suite had tub that was not operational. On/off switches removed . 2 might stay - never saw housekeeping. Rooms need updating.

Spa was excellent. It had tons of amenities and I had a very nice massage with Duncan. Highly recommend taking advantage of this.

Very clean, comfortable rooms, fabulous pool, lovely restaurant for breakfast. Staff were very helpful.

Spa was outstanding

Nice bed and bathroom, easy access from highway. First floor rooms felt a little like a basement. Area outside door to room could use attention.

Exterior and interior looks tired, first floor rooms feel like you’re in a basement. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Check in was quick.

I stayed multiple nights at this hotel, and the experience was quite disappointing. The first room had no air conditioning and a noticeable odor; staff mentioned it might cool down, but it didn’t improve. The second room was slightly better but had an even worse smell. The third room, billed as one of their best, was far from impressive.
Better air filtration systems would have helped with the persistent odors, and a renovation to update the tired rooms is badly needed.
We didn’t use the indoor pool, but the outdoor pool was a highlight, though umbrellas for afternoon shade would be a nice addition. However, having to check in at the pool and the extra charge for any visiting guests felt inconvenient and unreasonable compared to other hotels.
The location was convenient for nearby attractions, but the closest Starbucks being drive-thru only was annoying—it was quicker to walk than drive. Overall, the stay was lackluster, and the hotel needs significant improvements.

Rooms are old. Hotel lobby and restaurant are very nice. Price is steep

The hotel is beautiful but the bed was very hard and there was a machine in the room that was very loud during the night! We thought it was the fan for the AC/ Heat until we got up in the morning and realized it was something else. Maybe a dehumidifier or air cleaner of some kind. Also even with a map with room numbers, it was confusing to get around the building. We didn’t have time to check out the spa but it looked very nice!

It was very clean. I'm not a big fan of the time. It takes to get back the $100 hold. Um, it's been 3 days and I still don't have it back. So other than that, it does seem a little dated, but the facility is clean
