It was very Good close to train station .Easy to find if I had a car looks good parking lot. The only suggestions I have to make it better is investing in newer mattresses some are quite hard & wearing down. Another thing the website said laundry facility but there was no paid laundromat which would make this property even better if there where at least 2 self serve laundry machines . And also it would have been nice for the number of foreigners that stay there to have at least 2 channels with English news like some other hotels . The food is amazing ! Just the right amount of spiciness for some of the dishes best soups I had in Thailand great cook . 👍

I have stayed here several times and I was shocked by how much it had degraded. My guess is that the hotel was sold to new owners. Here's a short rundown:

Room was not as advertised (a big open space where the table and love seat were in photos from hotel listing). See photo.
The bathroom faucet was barely attached (see video).
The hot water in the shower ranged from cold to scalding without me touching the handle.
Housekeeping moved my belongings so I had to worry that something might've been left behind.

I will not be staying here again.

The car lights from the parking lot next to the hotel shined in our room window a few times. Also, our first room had a door that gave us so much trouble to open. We called the front desk about it and a house keeper also had trouble opening the door.

Excuse my random mess of a review. I ended up staying for one night instead of the week that I had previously booked. The images of the room look better than the room itself probably because of the lighting. The room has a lot of space but if you’re traveling with kids, it’s not kid friendly. The bed is not comfortable and the room is not as pretty as the lobby. The bath tub has a lot of cracks and there’s a small step into the bathroom that you can easily kick on the way out. The soaps and stuff they provide are very small. They seem like refillable tiny bottles. The locks to the room don’t feel like they’re enough.

The hotel really need to improve on the lighting in the room. Given that the hotel is near to Bitec, guests who stay here will be likely to visit exhibitions, which means that they will need to work in the rooms. The lighting is so poor, it makes it hard to read in the evenings.
During our stay, it rained very heavily in the evening, and the roads around the hotel were flooded. We could not walk out to restaurants easily, but need to make big detours. The hotel although jaded, is kept very clean.

Overall, the hotel was OK. The positives, clean, modern, decent breakfast.

The negatives, air cond filter was dirty (but self cleaning was simple), lacking hot water and it is a little difficult to access due to road works.

Overall i would stay here again if i have to go bitec.

We chose this hotel because it was walking distance to a meeting my husband had. I had read the reviews which were not great but decided to book anyway. There was a used robe at the bottom of the wardrobe. A big spot on the bed linens and breakfast was cold eggs. Will not stay here again.

The lights would flicker after we shut them off, the ac dripped through the night and the restaurant was awful. Also we didnt get many towels or toilet paper had to ask for both. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Bad food, bad service & only a lobby to show off

Firstly the room I was given stank of damp and cigarettes. When I made them aware they moved me to a superior room. Later in the night, it became apparent the air conditioning unit made so much noise it was hard to sleep with it on. The facilities are aged and simple and not very warm and cosy. The aircon also leaked all the floor. Room service was pathetic and the worst club sandwich ever. In fact, when googling the worst pictures online of club sandwiches I couldn't even find one as bad as this. Two pieces of white bread with the crusts cut off and an egg with a piece of processed cheese. Totally laughable. The other food was bland and tasteless. Breakfast was also uninspiring and I left without having more than a cup of tea and an orange juice that wasn't even fresh. You get what you pay for but the only thing going for this hotel is the lobby which is nice. But unless your planning on sleeping there I would look elsewhere. Many other hotels for this price range that actually know the value of customer service and know how to maintain a hotel. I would not stay here again if it was free.

Great place for a better then average stay

Very clean, modern hotel with comfortable rooms, that have a king and twin bed. Breakfast simple but everything was good. location was quiet, and only a few blocks from the BTS train station, plus free parking. No irons available, but otherwise it was a better than average hotel especially at the price .

Just a bed

While the hotel is at a decent location the cleanliness is a big downside. You can literally scrape off dust from the furniture. And that’s just tip of the ice berg.
Communication barrier is a big problem as most of the staff is not able to understand English and on top of it they would listen to you, promise that they are resolving the issue and would never return back.

The hotel lobby and restaurant was renovated nicely. Unfortunately the rooms are dated and need some repair. The hotel is clean by Thai standards. The hotel staff is nice and friendly. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. We picked this hotel due to a friend's recommendation for an inexpensive hotel near a location we needed. The restaurant is over priced and the food served is mediocre in quality and taste.

Had an enjoyable 2 night solo stay. Reception was very tastefully decorated and well maintained. The rooms could benefit from some redecoration, especially the bathroom. However the room was comfortable and well-equipped for a couple of nights' stay and good value for money.
The local area has many street food vendors and small supermarkets. Larger restaurants and bars would be a short taxi drive away.

Great lobby area and a good food hub.

The hotel lobby area and restaurant look like they've had a recent makeover. Very tastefully decorated. The welcome at reception was good - swift and efficient.
The hotel can show up on the map as Soi 4, but it is actually Soi 6 so ignore the map and pay attention to the actual address!
The room was huge, generally clean and very comfortable. Mine had a balcony (Not much of a view, but made the place light and airy).
A bit more attention to detail and maintenance would really help the rooms to meet the standard of decor in the reception / dining area downstairs. Paint was peeling off the back of the bathroom door, one of the bedside lights didn't work.... small things which would really make a difference.
The hotel is a little walk from the sky train, at the last stop. The res not much to see or do in that area, but you're only a short taxi ride from some great restaurants.
All in all a great stay. Would definitely recommend based on value for money.

Nice hotel but inconvenience

it was great to stay in Clef Hotel- the concept, the receptionist, porter, etc. However it is too far away from the city area and around Clef Hotel will always have flood if it rains thus the location is too inconveniant for the guests. what's worse, it's difficult to get taxi when there's a flood or during peak period.

Nevertheless, i would still rate 4.5/5 because it would be unfair if i rate lower due to the locatoon. afterall, i love the hotel concept and the staffs. all in all, it was a great stay

I would say the lobby is very lovely as is in the photos.
However, have to remind on the location as it is the last stop of the railway which means a bit far from city center. Hotel room is okay if you dont demand too much... breakfast is not worth for trying.

Stayed 08-Jun-2015 1-night in Superior room 718.

Foyer was trashed due to renovation.
Unfriendly receptionist on evening check-in.
Room smelt musty despite hotel claiming they were fully booked for many nights and late checkout not available. Printed notes in room stating painting of hotel between 8am - 8pm.

Guests are mainly Chinese tourists in large tour buses.
Didn't have breakfast.

Comfortable chairs outside lifts.
Safe in room alarmed very loudly if wrong combination entered 3-times.
Separate bath and shower cubicle.

Very local restaurants nearby (Thai/Isaan) - don't speak any English.
Shopping centre 10-mins taxi drive away.

I booked here to train at Master Toddy's Thai boxing gym close by.

Had 3-different quotes for late checkout (before I booked the hotel from England, on check-in, morning of checkout). Despite paying for late checkout in the morning, I was called at 12:30pm asking when I was checking out!
Checked out at 17:00pm.

Difficult to get taxis to airport at 17:00pm. First 7-taxis refused to go, although hotel offered to provide one at their rates.

Great first impressions, but rooms are lacking

The initial impressions of the hotel are excellent, as you walk up the stylish driveway and into the very trendy lobby. As you step into the elevator, this is where things start to go down. I received a complimentary upgrade to a larger room, but despite this fact the room had really bad lighting, laminate flooring which was loose in places and the bathroom wasn't fantastic. But on a positive note, there was a lot of space. Although I got a good price, I don't think this hotel is good value, especially considering its location is outside of the main city area.

Ok, could be cleaner

The location of the hotel was very close to the friends we visited during our trip. For others, it might be a little bit further away from the city center than desired. It's only a five minute walk to the BTS station of Bearing though.

The hotel lobby looks great, the rooms could be a bit better and cleaner though, especially the bathroom. The room on our first stay, when we got upgraded, was a lot better than the second one.

Breakfast is OK, but not very popular. I haven't used the WiFi, I would recommend buying a mobile SIM upon arrival, as the 4G is faster and more reliable than any hotel WiFi I've come across.

隔音差到嚇一跳

除了是因爲有Promotion優惠價這優勢以外，我實在未有想到其他優點。。。
很久沒有住過這樣的住宿，隔音設備差到不得了，剛好對面住了一家印度籍家庭，小孩沒有停過在走廊跑跳，電話不停響，尖叫哭鬧等基本上沒有停頓過，而且完全沒有隔音的清晰。
房間看似整潔，但一個晚上出現過曱甴（在衣櫃），小蜘蛛（浴室洗手盤），還有蜜蜂（浴室）… 大開眼界
牙刷要付費，拖鞋要request，好難再有下一次………

如果能改善房间设施设备那就好了

新开酒店，酒店大堂和餐厅还不错，但房间设备老旧，厕所的换气设备、冰箱、空调声音都很大，影响睡眠；电视也比较老旧，遥控器都不灵了。虽然关掉了自己房间的空调、冰箱和厕所通风，但隔壁方面的冰箱的声音依然扎耳。。。之前一直不知道是什么声音，知道一天半夜突然停电，只听噹的一声，终于安静了，原来是隔壁的冰箱断电了。。。地处稍微偏僻，吃饭只能在酒店不远的地方找到路边的小店用餐（价格便宜味道不错，所以就不抱怨了）

整個來說是物超所值的，我覺得各方面都很好，離捷運不算遠，外面相當熱鬧，大賣場，菜市場規模都是超大，比較是給本地人消費的，所以價格比市中心便宜許多。房間比想像中好，早餐也算豐富，工作人員很有禮貌，真的沒什麼可以抱怨的，原本因某些原因需要住到這一區，但結果是意外的滿意。
