Aircon needs looking at, although pleasant it doesn’t seem to have the happy atmosphere the staff send to have, also the outside bar is understaffed, as soon as you have more than a few people outside you can see the poor guy was really under pressure, as I believe he is also doing drinks for the restaurant at the same time.

Relaxing stay with amazing view outside Lindos

Amazing hotel with great views of Navarone Bay. Situated between Lindos and Pefkos with easy access to the beach down at Navarone Bay.
All the staff at the hotel are really helpful and friendly. Only had dinner once and really enjoyed it. Choice of buffet and set menu. Lunch at pool bar really nice and very reasonable. Breakfast had everything on offer.
Access to Lindos is a 20 minute walk, €2 on the bus or €10 in a taxi. Rhodes is €6 on the bus and takes 1.5 hours each way. Pefkos is €11 in a taxi and assume €2 on the bus which is worth a look. Nice beach and what looks like some walking trails (too hot in july). Lindos is busy but a great spot to go every night as there are plenty of options to eat and a few nice bars. Beach and Acropolis a must see.

The road outside the hotel is the main road and quite busy but noise didnt bother us.

My car hirer cancelled so ended up getting a transfer to and from the hotel. Never rebooked another one but it would have made things easier seeing more of the island. As first time, was happy with seeing Pefkos, Lindos and Rhodes Town

Lovely property in the traditional Greek style, in a convenient location within 20 minute walking distance of Lindos. Private pool was a definite bonus!
Only downside was the main road running along the front of the property and which our room overlooked.
Friendly staff, immaculately clean, good food and amazing deserts!

Super Hotel.Super holiday

Lovely Hotel set in it's own grounds away from the hustle & bustle of Lindos town, yet within a pleasant walk along the coastal road. Superb range of different rooms to suit all tastes. The food for breakfast & dinner was excellent, with a good choice of dishes, more like restaurant quality food than hotel fayre. The staff at the Hotel were very friendly & helpful. Would highly recommend Lindos Sun for your stay in Rhodes.

Such a great week staying at Lindos Sun.

The rooms are designed to a great standard and the gardens in the hotel are impeccable. Standard of food is definitely better than any hotel I have stayed in.

The staff are extremely pleasant and you get the feeling that it’s a fantastic working environment for the staff.

It’s about a 20min walk into Lindos but a really nice walk. I would recommend hiring a mode of transport (I hired a car) for ease of travel on the island. I would recommend this regardless of where you stay in Rhodes - this isn’t specific about the hotel just a helpful tip as the hotel has free parking.

I would love to stay at Lindos Sun again.

Great boutique hotel. Good size, I.e. not too big and not resorts.Lovely design. Nice pool. Breakfast and dinner were actually pretty good. Lots of choice. Deserts were poor but they generally are with buffets.

One mile or a very quick bus ride to Lindos, which is a nice old Greek town, with a couple of beaches. Bus stop out the front of the hotel covers most of the island. We did a trip to Rhodes Town.

Overall, would highly recommend. Only downside is not on the beach. Nearest is 5 minute walk.

Lindos Sun is such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. It’s in an excellent location, you ca walk up the hill about 20 minutes to Lindos to tour around the village, see the acropolis, and go to the beach. You can also walk to St. Paul’s Bay which is an absolutely stunning beach, but go early to make sure you get a sunbed! The staff at the hotel were beyond friendly and my husband and I both enjoyed the breakfast and supper buffets. The hotel was also very helpful in booking a rental car and airport transfer, they made things simple.

The outstanding memory of the hotel will be the friendliness of the staff. Everyone that we met were pleasant and made the stay easy and enjoyable. From remembering your room number when ordering drinks to the welcome in the dining room, they gave you the impression that they enjoyed you being there. They work hard and keep the hotel running really well.

Simply stunning hotel!

We rented the duplex apartment with jacuzzi. Well worth the extra money as this was the most gorgeous apartment.
The hotel and facilities were phenomenal. I would go so far as to say the most beautiful, unique hotel I have ever stayed at.
The staff were amazing, the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing.
Although the hotel is not in the heart of lindos it is only a short and scenic walk away.
Breakfast and dinner were lovely, there was lots of choice and never any queuing for food like you have to in some hotels.
I would love to come back to this hotel over and over again, I wish I could move this hotel to any country I wanted to visit. It’s perfection!

We were traveling with a 20 month old and everyone was very accomodating. Room was very clean and had everything we needed.

third year at this hotel and can't fault it. totally comfortable and peaceful. really great for a relaxing holiday. walk to Lindos is up hill and takes about 20 mins but is just what you need for a bit of exercise. Lunch at the pool bar is delicious and service from waitress and chef was excellent. Rooms are so clean and comfortable, cleaning staff were brilliant too. Will be back again next year.

Beautiful hotel..location has its plus and minuses

Can’t fault the hotel, beautiful. We stayed in the new part and it was amazing! The food was unreal so much selection and everything was delicious. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. I went to a complementary yoga class on the thurs evening which I really enjoyed. Only draw back was the pillows...not the comfiest but we managed to sleep ok!
Location is set in the beautiful picturesque mountain side. It’s not close to anything which was fine for us as quite enjoyed the 15/20 min walk to the local shop in lindos. But the only down side was it is on the main coast road, so you never really got a quiet moment on your balcony or by the pool. The road is really busy but you’d get the odd car driving past every few mins. After a day you kind of just got used to it and didn’t notice it too much.

Lindos town walking distance about 20 mins to shops and supermarkets and taxis vary between 5 and 10 euros so set a price before you ride!

The hotel is slightly outside the town of Lindos about 25 minutes walk, (uphill on the way out, down hill on the way back) The hotel has fantastic views across the bay and should you get up early enough with outstanding sunrises. The hotel itself, in the block I stayed in was starting to show signs of age although good maintenance is clearly being done.
The staff here can not do enough for you whether its in reception, additional towels or room service, dinning or just evening drinks, the staff are very helpful and are there morning to night so its always great to see the same faces!!
There is a mini bar within the room but stock up at the local supermarket. There are bigger, better and newer rooms located around the site some even pool side and some with their own pool!!. The food served at breakfast is very delicious and extremely varied catering for basically everybody. There is a lunch time café/ restaurant and again food is well presented and in large portions and reasonably priced. The evening meal is a buffet style allowing big varied and delicious meals with exceptional puddings. There is an on site day time and evening bar, this is a little pricey compared to England but ice cold drinks always available!
The pool is a clean, large kidney shaped infinity pool at a constant depth about 1.5 meters, but not heated so is a little cold to get into.
Overall I would stay here again but would upgrade to the better rooms with own secluded pool. 8/10

We had a great week at this super little hotel. If you are looking for something quiet and good value, I'd thoroughly recommend. Don't expect to eat at the hotel every night though, plan to eat out in the local villages, the food is good at the hotel but you are missing out on some great local eating if you stay at the hotel. There's a lack of facilities directly around the hotel with the nearest supermarket being a bus/taxi ride away. You can walk to Lindos but in 34 degree heat, the hill is a bit of a challenge. You can access the beach from just down the road and it's worth a visit for a sea swim. Buses into Lindos are really easy and cheap. We had a superior room which was clean and a good size. If you want a great away from it all good value holiday, Lindos Sun fits the bill. :)

relaxing hotel no hassles

second time at this hotel loved it. Although a bit of walk up hill to Lindos, about 20 mins, you need it after lying around all day.

The rooms a spotless and the beds are so comfy. lunch at the bar during the day was excellent the staff work so hard.

The only issue i have is the food at dinner could be warmer.

Will be back again next year.

Food in the pool bar was excellent but breakfast and evening meal were only mediocre. It was too far to walk to any of the surrounding bars so taxis or buses had to be used to go away from hotel

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Lovely decor and ambience. Excellent buffet. But the hotel is so close to a busy road which means it is not relaxing to sit by the pool or outside the room on the lovely airy terraces. Unpleasant smell of sewage spoilt our first few days. Staff friendly and obliging but take time to action requests, Chaotic self-service dining room: never enough plates, bowls, milk, cutlery etc and staff slow to produce more. Necessary to travel to town or beach, the location of which is not ideal for elderly or infirm as access involves steep climbs.

A little gem of a hotel

Lindos sun is typically Greek both in looks and experience. There's no sign of the large corporate feel here, just a lovely friendly and personal experience. The rooms are designed beautifully with a quirky feel....ours was a room with a pool and lived up to our high expectations. The staff took time to chat to you but at no point did it get too much and nothing was too much trouble. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday away from bustling crowds of people (ie towels on sunbeds at 6am and queues at the buffet!). Close to Lindos for shops, restaurants and sightseeing

Perfect for our requirement.

The Lindos Sun Hotel was very close to the wedding venue we attended at St.Paul's Bay. Taxis could be ordered from the hotel and took only a few minutes to be at the Hotel . Buses were available outside the Hotel to all areas of Rhodes, and timetables were available from Hotel reception. The Hotel was very close to Lindos village even within walking distance, weather permitting. The restaurant served a wide variety of food suitable for everyone's taste at breakfast and in the evening. The swimming pool was of a good size with ample sunshade around. We will definitely return to the Hotel, and perhaps book one of the rooms with a private pool.

perfect hotel for a relaxing holiday

Hotel was spotlessly clean and staff are fantastic and so helpful. Check in was quick and we were given a snack as we arrived late in the evening. We stayed in the premium rooms which were so comfortable and clean and quite unique.
Pool area was spotless and the pool snack bar was reasonably priced with very attentive staff.

You can walk into Lindos town in about 20 minutes up hill but there are bus stops outside hotel or a taxi will cost about 6-8 euros. Ice bar is worth a visit.

Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a quiet relaxing and hassle free holiday.

Lovely hotel but a long walk from town!

Had the pleasure of staying in a private pool room this time which was stunning with a domed starlit ceiling and private sun deck. Breakfast and evening meal was buffet style and catered for all tastes both English and Greek with plenty of choices. Only downside to hotel is the distance from both Lindos and Pefkos, anyone with walking difficulties and those that can't be bothered has to take a taxi (approx 7 euros), it is very steep in both directions and takes a good 20 minutes hard uphill trek. I would recommend to anyone staying that they book either a superior room in the new block or a deluxe room with private pool, as the older ones round the pool are small and do not look very comfortable, although I would say that the main hotel pool is very big and very clean.

Hotel was lovely stayed in classic room for 1st night due to arriving at 10pm which was a very primitive room however transferred to superior room following day, what a huge difference felt like I had changed hotels.
€8 for cab into lindos we took a slow stroll from the bottom of palace beach back to hotel and took just under an hour, the only slight annoyance is there is no local supermarket however the drinks and lunch prices were reasonable in the hotel. Would definitely recommend

FROM THE FIRST MOMENT WE STEPPED INTO THE RECEPTION OF LINDOS SUN IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THIS WAS GOING TO BE A LOVELY EXPERIENCE. WE WERE GREETED WITH HOMEMADE LEMONADE WHILST HERO CHECKED US IN, THEN WE WERE TAKEN TO OUR STANDARD ROOM WHICH I MUST SAY WAS VERY NICE, TOILETRIES, HAIRDRYER BALCONY, LOVELY LIGHT AND AIRY. THE POOL WAS LOVELY MUCH BIGGER THAN NORMAL AND ALL THE BEDS HAD UMBRELLAS, THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS WITH PLENTY OF CHOICE AND ALL FRESHLY MADE, THE BREAD AT BREAKFAST WAS ESPECIALLY GOOD. THE WHOLE FEEL TO THE HOTEL WAS COMPLETELY CHILLED WITHOUT FEELING LIFELESS, THE BAR AT NIGHT HAD A LOVELY ATMOSPHERE, ON FRIDAYS THEY HAVE A LIVE SAXOPHONIST AND ON ANOTHER NIGHT THEY HAVE A JAZZ SINGER BUT IF YOU JUST WANT TO RELAX THEN YOU CAN DO JUST THAT. LINDOS ITSELF IS ABOUT A 15 MINUTE WALK UP A SLIGHT HILL IT WAS A GOOD WAY TO WALK OFF ALL THE DELICIOUS FOOD, WE OFTEN DID THE WALK TWICE A DAY. LINDOS IS A TRULY MAGICAL VILLAGE AND I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE SOMETHING A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT. WE HOPE TO RETURN TO THIS LITTLE CORNER OF PARADISE IN THE NOT SO DISTANT FUTURE!!

A very pleasant whitewash and clean hotel complex which was relatively quiet during the time my friend and I stayed there which made it feel peaceful, it was at the end of the holiday season.
The staff were very helpful and spoke good English.
There was minimal guide maps, the map we got of Lindos was in Greek streets nameless, however one cannot really get lost in the town itself.
It was a good 10 minutes uphill walk to the centre of Lindos Town which some people may find off-putting.
This hotel was near to a fairly busy road which we found a bit annoying when relaxing outside.

Lovely hotel 15 minutes from Lindos

We had a week here and a week in Rhodes town to meet with friends, would rather have had 2 weeks here and visited Rhodes town for the day.
Stayed in superior room, which was clean and comfortable. They advertise the coco-mat beds and we did sleep very well. Hotel was clean and staff friendly.
Heard people complain about food not being brought out at breakfast and that at 9.15 supplies had run out - this is a 3* hotel offering fantastic location, good food and friendly service - if you want endless supplies of food then book a 4/5* hotel. For the price paid we had excellent value for money and used the \"free\" half board option on 3 nights which was international rather than Greek food but perfectly ok.
Bus stop into Lindos/Rhodes and Pefkas right outside the hotel so we didn't need a car.
Lindos was a good 15 minute walk away and can imagine the walk being difficult in heat of the summer but taxis only cost 6 Euro.
Would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a peaceful location but close to Lindos. We relaxed from the minute we arrived.

Fantastic hotel!

Fantastic staff, hotel decor spot on, food very good. A good 15 min walk to town but closer than many and lindos town hotels are small without pools I think.
Only criticisms are; drinks a little expensive, meal times sometimes food ran out and there wasn't enough staff to replace it quickly, the room was a twin not a double and the beds wouldn't push together to meet properly. Can't recommend the staff enough!

Amazing location, just far enough away from the town to switch off and relax. Our room was a standard room which was just fine for us; spacious and very clean with a lovely view. Balconies could have been more private but the room itself was very quiet. Free air con was great and the fridge was very handy. Two gripes....the bar staff and snack bar staff were completely disinterested and were rarely available to serve. Half the sun beds weren't adjustable so you are lying in the same position whilst lounging by the pool. People 'bagsied' all the loungers at the crack of dawn and most of them wouldn't turn up until lunchtime! Not the hotels fault though of course.
Really relaxing holiday - no music during the day which was lovely. Bar prices were very reasonable and the reception staff were good.

Lovely hotel near the beach, great value

The hotel is very charming, lots of areas to sit, poolside is lovely with a great snack bar, the only downside was service there was slow. Good food served at the breakfast and dinner buffets. Very friendly, helpful staff. Thoroughly recommend as in a great location too. Recommend having a car, Lindos isn't far but too far in the searing heat!

Staff were amazing and we loved the private pool! The food wasn't really for me, although it was okay, so would probably not want to go half board next timne. I think you have to in this hotel though. Grounds are beautiful and the main pool is nice and big - short bus ride from Lindos - busstop right outside the hotel. Average hotel. Very nice staff.

The hotel was very average. 20 min walk from Lindos. Nice staff and cheaper than in town. I got what I paid for. Personally my wife and I did not care for breakfast or dinner.

Small, quiet, idyllic hotel very close to Lindos

This is a small and exclusive feeling hotel with only about 40 rooms. The staff make you feel very welcome. An excellent hotel if you want to relax. The hotel is not on a beach but close to a main road about 10 minutes walk from Lindos. If you have a car it is an excellent base to visit beaches such as St Pauls, Lindos and Pefkos which are within 5 minutes drive.

Great holiday

Lovely hotel with a great view over the Aegean. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging trips/bus schedules and so on. Buffet varied and mostly very good and a nice pool and outside bar area. Lindos a 20 minute walk away and beautiful St Pauls Bay only 15 minutes or so. The walk is a bit hilly on the way in but is fine on the way back, there is however a bus stop directly outisde the hotel. Would happily return.

good but expensive

We were a mature couple staying 4 nights in June, looking for a peaceful place. Plus points: brilliant design and upkeep in a scenic setting with views of sea; though a main road runs nearby, that is no problem. near to Lindos, bus stop outside, though we had a car. Staff work very hard, v friendly and helpful. Food good, and chef v attentive to my exclusion diet. Room and hotel v clean and tidy.Excellent pool with snack bar.Even thrice weekly visits by a yoga leader.
Negatives: v expensive for the hotel services provided. Coffee etc are not included with all meals. Beds are mediocre. Big issue for us was constant loud unpleasant music played in outside areas, for meals and pool, turned down a bit when we asked.

Good for money

Hotel ok if you are not looking for anything special. Pool is nice but by a road which you get used to. Rooms ok. Nothing special but for the price can't complain. Prices for food and drink reasonable.

A great venue for a relaxing Greek holiday

A wondeful,tranquil environmet. The small scale family run hotel was just what we were looking for. Lovely, big, well maintained pool with plenty of space to swim and sunbathe.

The rooms at the front were surrounded with attractive flowers and plants and the rest of the grounds full of Oleanders and shady trees.

The attention to detail in the communial areas was pleasant and the traditional yet functional decor was to our taste.

Excellent food with a good variety was provided from the buffet, both breakfast and dinner.

I stayed here for 4 nights in June. Excellent hotel, about 20mins walk from Lindos.

Rooms were spacious and clean - basic furnishing but excellent value for money. The bathroom was refitted.

The pool was fantastic. There's a pool bar on site. Never had the evening meal, I wandered into lindos instead. Breakfast had a good selection of pastries, yoghurts plus the usual continental fayre.

Lovely, friendly, relaxed place to stay close to Lindos

This is a lovely, small hotel about 20 minutes walk from Lindos. Taxis available quickly/easily for about E6. There is car parking if you have a hire car. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is mostly two storey, all rooms with balconies and sea view. There is a nice outdoor patio with bar for drinks or eating alfresco and a swimming pool with snack bar.

Breakfasts are excellent with plentiful coffee, fruit, breads as well as scrambled or poached eggs. Dinner is buffet style, with good variety of choice of hot dishes as well as a huge salad selection. I'd recommend eating early as the food is sometimes doesn't stay as hot as it should.

Rooms are clean, simply furnished with en-suite shower facilities.

A good value hotel, perfect for relaxing away from the main town, yet close enough to get there easily. Good base for exploring the island.

Great hotel for couples and families

This is a great, English run hotel in a good spot between Lindos and Pefki. For couples and families looking for an affordable break in Lindos this is the place. The service is friendly, hotel is nicely presented and its a great spot to relax in. Food is good and dinner was a complimentary buffet (although probably better than the breakfast). Overall this is a good, low hassle affordable stay for couples and families wanting to be close to Lindos and also get to see the beacjes at Pefki. Very welcoming and friendly staff make a huge difference!

Muy lindo hotel

Nos encantó el hotel , muy buenos sus desayunos, la cena, el bar. Lindo ambiente, muy linda decoración y pileta. La habitavión linda pero tuvimos muchas hormigas y un aire acondicionado que no daba frío, pedimos solución pero no la obtuvimos, la verdad no dormimos bien, hacía mucho calor.

Lindos sun est un magnifique hôtel, calme,propre le personnels est très agréable et au petit soin.
La nourriture est très bonne pas d’attente au buffet.

Nous avons malheureusement été volé des souvenirs que nous avions achetés pour nos enfants…

Trevligt ställe. Väldigt bra frukost och middagsbufféer med god variation. Ligger 15-20min från centrala Lindos så var beredda på
varma promenader eller 5€ taxi mellan ställena.

Très bien situé pour visiter Lindos et le Sud de l'île. Certainement très bel endroit en été mais non adapté pour une fin de saison. Malgré la douceur de la période (début novembre), les chambres sont froides et humides et la clim n'est pas réversible (le chauffage ne marche pas). Jacuzzi au top sur la terrasse. Petit déjeuner plutôt bien mais dîner inclus dans la prestation très décevant (à tel point que nous avons dîner dehors le 2è soir)

Excellente prestation pour cet hôtel, la piscine est très jolie, l’hôtel à taille humaine vous plonge dans l’ambiance d’un petit village familial.

Le cadre est somptueux, proche de l’architecture de Santorin.

Le buffet petit déjeuner est bien fourni et les plats du soir sont de qualité. Dommage que les boissons y compris l’eau soit en supplément lors du dîner.

AMAZING

Bland av dem bästa hotellen jag har besökt. Bästa service, underbara och hjälpsamma personal som var alltid glada och trevliga. Väldigt fin inredning på varje del av hotellet, rummen var rymlig stora och utsikten AMAZING! Bodde där endast en vecka men vi ångrade att vi inte stannade längre. Väldigt rent och fint. Bra promenadavstånd till centrum, ungefär 15-20 min. Men generellt behöver man bil för att åka runt i ön och Lindos, trots det var läget bra. Varje dag serverades olika sorters maträtter, så man tröttnade inte på maten där. Gratis parkering precis utanför. Dem hjälpte oss otroligt mycket med allt, från PCR- test till vår bagage som var kvar i Sverige. Dem ringde hela tiden till flygplatsen och frågade om vår bagage tills den kom till hotellet. Vi kände oss hemma kort sagt. Dem fixade även frukost till oss dagen vi skulle lämna som vi kunde äta på vägen till flygplatsen, vilket var fint. Vi kommer definitivt komma hit igen.

La struttura è molto bella con una piscina notevole, il personale è molto gentile e premuroso. Purtroppo non abbiamo trovato il cibo di qualità o quantomeno non è stato di nostro gradimento. Quell che più non ci è piaciuto è stata la pulizia della stanza, nello specifico polvere con ragnatele sui comodini; con la prima richiesta di feedback di Expedia ho segnalato la cosa e l’hotel ha prontamente risposto chiedendo di passare in reception per essere supportati, cosa che ho fatto ed ho specificato il particolare dei comodini ma nei due giorni successivi sono rimasti come erano. Inoltre anche la testata del letto era molto sporca con aloni gialli. Peccato perché con una maggiore attenzione alla pulizia sarebbe una struttura eccellente. Per il cibo probabilmente è una questione di gusti perché ho visto tutte le recensioni molto positive

Schönes Hotel in der Nähe von Lindos. Leihwagen empfehlenswert. Sehr freundliches Personal. Einfach und zweckmäßig eingerichtete Zimmer. Kühlschrank relativ laut, stört nur Nachts.
