The staff was very friendly. The room was clean but outdated. You can tell it is an older hotel if you care about that. We didn’t make it to breakfast. They didn’t provide water. That was my concern. It was 80 degrees and they didn’t have water. It was comfortable for a one night stay visiting campus. I would definitely go back.

Overall it was a nice hotel. I didn't realize the cleaning staff would come in daily and since I was staying there a few days, I preferred they didn't. I asked for extra towels then the following day they came into clean and removed my extra towels. Later I had to request a privacy door tag as there wasn't one already on the door.

Hotel is convienent to Georgia Southern. It alot of wear and tear. Upgrades are in desperate need. I traveled with my 18 year old on a college visit, Iwould not recommend for more than a 1 night stay. Roaches in room crawling on wall, trash from previous person left in room, so i know they didnt thoroughly clean it. Shower pressure was great with hot water, but it does not drain. Water filled tub and took over 30mins to drain.

I recommend Eagles Nest. The room and facilities were clean and all taken care of. There was minor wear a few locations, but four a hotel in this price range it was well above average. The staff were polite and helpful, even when our 10pm checking turned into a 1am checking due to issues completely unrelated to the hotel.

The hotel looks like it's abandoned. The room has been poorly maintained (carpet was dirty with stains, Walls and ceiling with portions showing damage, blue tape attaching a section of the TV cabinet, floor with loose strips, etc). We arrived around 2 am after a long drive, and nobody was at the front desk. We waited 45 minutes until a lady came and gave us the room key. For a few $s more, you can find a much better place. This hotel has been managed as a 1-star hotel. It’s day and night versus 2 or 3 years ago. I recommend that you reserve a different hotel. Our stay was just for one night to visit our college daughter.

I've only encountered the front desk when I checked in and out and they were nice. The room and the common areas were pretty dirty. The TV remote didn't work properly either. The bathroom was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. I was tempted to ask for a room change, but judging by what the way the entire place looked I didn't even bother. The staff was very nice, but the property needs a lot of work. The room was musty when we walked in. The sheets on both beds were stained. There were 3 beers left in the fridge from who knows when. Walls were filthy. Just felt gross. The side door that's supposed to require a key to get in doesn't close all the way. We checked out and went to another property. The location is probably great if you're just there for a football game, but it wasn't for us.

We’ve stayed here twice recently (reserved months in advance and super cheap for dates that got much more expensive) for orientation and move in.

The first time the antiseptic smell was so strong it gave us headaches and we left the door open to the hall for hours to have it air out.

This time, we were on the second floor. Still an antiseptic smell, but less than first floor. However, mold in our bathroom, and the whole room was wet-water stain on the ceiling, carpet was wet to the point we couldn’t wear shoes, bed was damp. Nasty smelling room!

The smell in our room was absolutely HORRIBLE! But we were so exhausted we just wanted to go to sleep. Our room smelled like someone had taken many jars of Vick's Vapor rub and coated everything! It was overwhelming. With move in weekend for Georgia Southern we had limited options. The staff was also rude and dismissive, like they couldn't be bothered to interact with guests. Very disappointing experience. My family is from Statesboro so we visit regularly. I will not be staying at Eagles Nest Inn again.

Staff was nice and welcoming. Bed was comfy and clean. The hotel as a whole really needs some TLC. Flooring and walls are damaged and dated making it appear uninviting. Hard water stains in the bathroom make it appear dirty. The location is so convenient to GSU, walking distance to the stadium. With some serious deep cleaning and updating, this place could be a gold mine.

Very limited parking, rooms were extremely dirty and mold can be seen in various locations. Apartment complex next door and you can easily hear the traffic outside from the road.

The property has damaged walls in the hallways. Once inside our room the flooring was missing sections, holes in the walls damaged furniture and mold in the bathtub. Requested to move rooms and the new room also had mold in the tub. Will never stay at this property again

The staff was absolutely wonderful—Delightful, helpful, and understanding. The property is not well-kept or clean. Is as though they have good intentions but no money to follow through on basic housekeeping and upkeep. Our room was smelly and muggy. The location is great for GSU football games.

We arrived late at night (11:50PM), staff was an elderly woman who was nice. Room was hot, we were not able to get the AC on to cool - it stayed 74-75 degrees all night.

While breakfast was a bonus the pancake machine was down and the staff was delayed fixing it.
