The hotel room furniture is old and sad state. The bed should be changed to high quality mattress.

The hotel has a bit of traditional vibe.
They have hot shower too.

The room furniture and breakfast options are huge disappointment. I hope the hotel management can invest more to improve the quality.

Location very poor , room was not clean with hair , dirty and toe nails clippings on chair and floor . Room needed work , old .
Buildings looked in need of repair .
Pool and beach photos on hotels.com .Nothing like the real thing .No seating , umbrellas pool needed a clean .
Beach was littered with rubbish.
No outside eateries, No alcohol on site . Food average ,soft drinks warm , fridge lock up . Very poor stay , Not a Resort !

Pemandangannya cantik belatarbelakangkan lautan yang luas mata memandang dengan deruan ombak yang kuat.Swimming pool yang luas sesuai untuk mandi-manda.Firstime masuk bilik ada lipas memang dah standby fumakilla,Lantai dan cadar katil yang berpasir seolah tidak dibersihkan.Channel tv yang teruk sekejap ada sekejap tiada seolah-olah dikontrol siarannya.Breakfast juga kurang sedap dan tidak pelbagai hilang selera hendak makan.datang dari jauh ingatkan hendak makan nasi kerabu @ nasi minyak terengganu tapi dihidang menu yang sama dengan hotel sebelum ini dekat KT.Apapun selama 3 hari 2 malam di hotel yang berbeza merupakan percutian yang indah bagi kami,kerana KT merupakan bandar yang tenang jauh dari kesesakan jimat masa untuk pergi ke sesuatu tempat.Disamping itu,pantai yang menarik untuk dilawati menggamit keinginan untuk datang lagi.

this hotel is really suitable for those who wanted to spend time at hotel with family and those who love beach so much. this place is suitable for those who would like to organize family day. it is an old hotel but has good maintanence for the room except the toilets are a bit old school. some of the rooms that we booked also had problems with their flush. But they manage to overcome the problems right after we called them.

i booked 10 hotels room online for my family day group. everyone was satisfy with the room except for bathrooms for some of them. the room is quite spacious and my expectation was wrong when i entered the room. it was clean n well maintain for an old hotel. but like i said they give fast respond to our complaints. the breakfast was quite good and they have lots of foods.

i would like to give extra credit for their pool. they have big and spacious pool for kids and adults. we bought a unicorn float, and variety of floats to play with the kids at the pool. it was superbly fun and everyone enjoy our 2 days 1 night stay.. what made it more fun is that uu can see the beach directly from the poolside. the beach is only 200m away and u can feel the breeze while chilling at the pool. we didnt spend time going out from the hotel since we enjoyed our short stay. we went to one of the restaurant nearby. The restaurant is D'perahu(masakan panas/seafood) like 5 mins away. they serve good food and gave us discounts since we add on more sets for our group..

The property is deterioting and require urgent refurbishment and upgrading. The actual does not same as the photos on Expedia page. The landscape is bad, the room is dusty (bad experience for my son which allergic to dust). some furnitures and fitting were not available as in the photos (probably it was not replaced when it was damaged).

The beach is good, ala carte food is good.. love the chicken wing and tomyam.

Amazing!!

Amazing! Resort is near to the beach which just few minutes away by walk. Our room facing the seaview and it was really beautiful. The best choice for those who want to join day trip to Redang since the resort is just 5 minutes away by car from Merang Jeti. Definitely will come again for our next stay.

Need more staff with extra smile and help full. The equipment is not very well condition, our hair dryer cant' be used , air conditioner is not cooled event on 16 c. Overall the maintenance of the resort need to be improve especially for the pool (they need to cleane the water frequently so dirty with the sand ) and room include the bathroom looked very old condition.

Close to a very dirty beach, very Noisey indeed with echoing corridors and impossible to sleep. This is a Muslim Hotel and expect to be frowned upon if you conduct yourself in a western way I.E sunbath in swimwear.

There is a non alcohol policy and not for sale and will be frowned upon if you even mention it.

Meals are available but at maylayian influence.

Unna at reception was amazing, so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

The pool is lovely, sun beds uncomfortable, rooms are extremely tired, set in the 1980s and in need of refurbishment.

The beach is excellent but the property is in poor condition. We were a group of 7 and took 3 rooms at the resort. The rooms and bathrooms are old, with poor lighting in some rooms. They have 1 restaurant with a limited menu. Breakfast quality was poor too.

It seems to be a popular weekend destination for the local Malaysian population. I wouldn't recommend it to foreigners unless it's a tight budget holiday.

Nice view of the beach. However, hotel room and facilities are very poorly maintained. Room smelled of sewerage. No hot water. Hotel restaurant only offer a very limited menu. Would not recommend anyone to stay at the hotel unless a thorough renovation is carried out. Don’t think it is even worth a three star.

Room, bathroom and bed sheet not very clean. Didn't use the pool as we staid only for the night to catch the boat to Lang Tengah island in the morning, but also the pool looked dirty. Local place for local people with local food.

The resort is in dire need of major upgrades / refurbishments. It used to be a great resort many years ago.

Our room was a bit smelly due to humidity. The pillows were also smelly and need to be replaced with new ones. The bed was springy and not that comfortable anymore, also due for replacement.

The bathroom is of a decent size, but no bathtub. Can be spruced up with better toiletries and newer and thicker bath towels.

The breakfast buffet was so so, you can get better and cheaper breakfast from nearby stalls.

Overall, the beach and pool save the day.

Nice location, but a run down hotel

The room was inhabitable. The pictures put on the internet doesnt represent the real place at all. The concrete/stone floor was dirty. The toilet was dirty with yellow stains. The bedsheet was torn. The wooden panels were rotten with dust all over the floor. We took the garden view, and why the entrance was placed at the back facing the bushes is incomprehensible. It was dark, wet, smelled rotten, and we were tip-toeing all the time. It was rainy, it was cold, and there was no hot water. I don't think there's hot water in any of the rooms there. The pool was big, and the section for kids was tiny. Moulds were growing around the edges.
The only good thing was a fair breakfast. Other than that, for rm280 per night, it's really not worth the money. If you happen to drive by the place, please continue with the journey.

I'm overestimating about the hotel. While it's has a great location with beach frontage but the facilities are not well maintained. Big swimming pool but neither pool tower nor life guard. The green mossy fish pond and smelly sewerage system make us feel uncomfortable. The room is big enough but the pillows are smelly and uncomfortable bed. They should refurbish this hotel to maintain their status.

Bad facilities such as cafe (poor service - wait for almost one hour for fried rice n pizza). Room's floor was not clean. Drainage was not propoerly built to support heavy rain - water cross on the walking area. Place is quiet, suitable for those who are looking for peace, and just a few meter from beach.

Resort overview are very nice.

The hotel was very beautifull..relaxing..clean air and very near to the beach..but we disspointed with room services..our room telephone are broken, complaint done but cannot be fix so difficult to call room services counter, everytime need service we need to walk to the counter..house keeping fail to make up room while we go out...Toileteries not provided since the day we check in..only change bath towel. Breakfast are to expensive Rm30 fo adult RM16 for child..food are not varieties..hotdog and nugget are common food. Hotel should cook terengganu famouse dishes like nasi kerabu, satar, laksam etc...tq

Be prepared for an older hotel and dated furnishings and washroom. Friendly staff that helped to arrange our cab/ shuttle to Merang Jetty and also with boat booking to Redang Island. Breakfast was decent. Just a one night stay for us so it was OK.

We had a wonderful stay. Resort is great but needs a lot of improvement. Enjoyed the infinity pool immersely. Hope they will improve on the maintenance of the resort, otherwise it will be a rundown building soon. The rooms are great but as I've said, need to improve of the maintenance. For such a grand resort, sad to see dust every where in the room...

If you are looking for a place to relax your mind, stay by the beach, this is the right place. The scenery is so nice and nice pool too, kids sure will love it. Very good food they have a variety of food for breakfast and the taste is nice too. Wi-Fi access is not stable and not really good. Location is easy to find but its far from town and it will be an issue if you want to find a place to eat or find/buy your personal things. One thing that maybe hotel facilities team can consider about, the ventilation of the toilet.

The place is very old. Rooms are also quite small. DO NOT judge the hotel by the photos. It is probably taken from 15 or 20 years ago. Services given such as room amenities are not up to my expectations for the price paid. Expected much more for the kind of price charged. Not worth it although next to a beach. Nice and beautiful place to stay and relax. But...

in average, this place is nice and beautiful for vacation. however, not all are perfect and some must be improved especially their hot water system, rooms and area. there one area where covered with bushes and trees. it makes the area look horror at the night. the hot water system also problem due to can not setting to room temperature water. just imagine when you gonna take bath on hot and shinny day. not all peoples are tend to use hot water for their bath everyday. then the problem can not be solved by their technical person and then we instructed to change the room where far away from other my family members.

I hate their breakfast. it is not your customer problem, when there is not many people staying in your hotel, u decided to make it ala carte. and your american breakfast is not as per description. u serve cheap nuggets and hot dogs.

a walk to the room is like walking to a haunted area. the lawn is not well manage, not well lighted.

the room is super duper old fashion. it looks like they never change the furnitures, shower heads, bed and TV since 1998. The TV is still the box TV, mind you.

if u plan to come here, pls prepare to be taken to the 90's. if not, better stay elsewhere.

Great and Huge Swimming Pool Near The Beach

We'll definitely come back for the swimming experience although it's quite distant from the city of Kuala Terengganu. It'll be inconvenient to stay here without a car because there's literally NOTHING around the neighbourhood. Other than this drawback, spacious room, friendly staff and a decent restaurant are the advantages to stay at this hotel.

Great place to spent a weeknd with family..

Clean beach, great infinity pool facing the sea..Mine seaview, worth a lot for the price paid. My kids enjoy playing at the beach. Though the resort is not comparable to new modern style resort but my overall stay was very excellent. Plan to go again and having bbq when my kids grow up. Highly recommended.

I read reviews on here before I booked, and I have to agree, the pool is really nice. It's the only reason why I would say I'm not totally dissatisfied with my stay. The pool was nice, the beach was also nice to walk along. The breakfast and good overall was good, and I really liked the open dining area. Besides that this property is in serious need of general upkeep and renovation. The rooms are very outdated and the bathroom smells because of the bad condition of the toilet. I have mixed reviews about the service as it varied with the people we had to deal with throughout our two night stay. I would say, if you like a nice pool stay here, but be sure to sacrifice overall comfort in your actual room.

THIS HOTEL IS FAR FROM KUALA TERENGGANU TOWN, SO THE HOTEL SHOULD PROVIDE ALL THE FACILITIES TO THE GUEST SO THAT THEY CAN ENJOY THE DAY THERE. EXAMPLE : 24 HOURS MART FOR SNACKS AND PERSONAL USED, MORE CAFE FOR VARIETY FOODS. THE HOTEL IS USING THE SAME MENU FOR LUNCH AND DINNER.
