The rooms need a little tidying up. The bath tub with cracks, skirting scuffed, walls could do with a coat of paint and the toilet seat detached from the hinges!
Staff are generally all good. Mentioned the toilet seat issue to Prince. He was very apologetic and helpful.

The food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating. I had some problems with the room. Lights were complicated and the shower was tiny. The best part of this hotel was the staff in the Indian Restaurant. They were a delight. I’ll be back in Kochi and may not stay there again but I would go and eat there anytime.

I'm really sorry to say but each and every morning at breakfast time we faced long queues and having to wait for long period of time, pretty much same food every day, we don't do curries for breakfast, full English would be nice. We also had same problems on roof top restaurant ordered food and arrived 1 and half hour later. I'm not blaming the staffs it's just communication problems. Otherwise everything is OK.

The buffet was excellent. All the staff at the restaurant where we had the buffet was absolutely friendly, courteous, provided excellent service and was there to serve us when we needed something. The chef at the morning breakfast buffet was very nice too and not forgetting the reception desk and the 2 ladies That arranged the transportation too.

The service was good and the breakfast was decent but the property itself needs a complete overhaul. Linens are worn out and not fresh, especially the towels! Not sure why these old linens+pillows are not replaced. The room and bathroom needs major deep cleaning. And important point to note - this property does not have a King size bed. It’s a queen size bed and so we had to get an extra mattress, (which was also 2 folded mattresses pushed together basically). Overall we were there just to sleep so it was manageable but the housekeeping and maintenance are not up to mark.

The stay was booked for two, entered the room there was lots dead mosquitoes lying on the bather counter, bath tub and floor, advised reception they changed our room to bigger and spacious room, appreciated however when went for shower, there was no body wash, towel rack had only one towel. Ordered room service dinner , fries served was cold and stale, when complained they said they will allow discount on food bill, during check out no discount was applied, when asked reception, he advised that Bev Manager said he couldn't allow any discount. We checked out early morning so no breakfast despite paying for breakfast, that's fine as breakfast timing was from 630am. Reception offered coffee and Tea, we waited for 10mins no one got us the beverage, so advised reception not too worry as Uber was waiting. As we were loading luggage and about to get seated, someone came running with both cups in a paper bag. when they handed the the bag both cups spill and hot tea fell on me, the bag was passed back to security. Vey Bad experience with the hotel.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Staff were excellent—very courteous and helpful throughout. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. The breakfast spread was truly excellent, with a great variety and quality. However, the room didn’t quite meet my expectations. The bedding, in particular, was hard and lacked the softness and comfort I was hoping for. Overall, a decent stay with standout service and food.

Avoid this Hotel! Definitely NOT 5 star

Certainly not a 5 star hotel. Full of mosquitoes. Buffet breakfast very haphazard - staff not replenishing food and drink items in timely manner. Do not use travel desk at hotel. Given a driver who did not know route and constantly changing direction (we had to google route and show him way!) and after consulting with travel desk by phone, it was agreed we would only have half day (4 hours) for half the price and this was reconfirmed by Manjusha Shibin. At check out, we were still charged for full day. After having to wait 1.5 hours, and speaking to Manushi, she would only discount the full day charge of 5000 rupees to 4000 rupees despite her previous confirmation. As a result of hotel poor service, we nearly missed our train causing huge amount of stress and were forced into paying. Very poor customer service which has left us feeling cheated and extremely upset. Whilst at the hotel, we noticed many people complaining. Not recommended. Rooms needed renovating, poorly cleaned. Facilities lacking - had to wait an hour for a drink in the bar. There are huge advertising signs stating Zhima Restaurant now open but it is still being renovated so only eating option is the buffet which does not make for a convivial relaxing evening with friends. This hotel would struggle to get a 2 star rating in most countries.

We picked this hotel because of their excellent Travel Desk services. From the very first Manjusha was very responsive and helped us with our travel bookings.
We made a last minute decision to go to Kochi and were looking for someone local to help with travel arrangements.
Manjusha helped with picking out trip ideas for us as well as arranging a car and driver.
Everything was reasonably priced and well coordinated.
The hotel itself was good with friendly staff. Breakfast buffet which was included was very good.
I’d recommend this place especially their concierge services.

Reception Staff were very helpful especially Anakha, Sajin and Devlin. We only booked the one night stay as needed to be near train station for our next part of our trip. Only downside of hotel was the amount mosquitos. Unfortunately they were in our room on 23 floor and where we sat in reception area. Our room also smelt damp. We got bitten more here than on our backwaters trip. Yes we know it’s India but we have been travelling over two weeks and managed to avoid them on the whole until now.
Breakfast seemed very disorganised and there was no hot water to make tea. I asked staff twice and eventually I was brought some in a cup. Seems something so basic should have been on display.

I arrived 45 minutes before the 2pm checkin time, after a tiring journey. I asked if I could leave my bags, or if my room was available for early checkin. I was in luck! Reception told me that my room was ready, and to wait in the lobby. 45 minutes later, at the official checkin time, I was getting impatient. (If my room was not ready, tell me, don't tell me lies). I was checked in, and told that my bags would be sent up straight away. I went to my room, and waited for my bags. After 30 minutes of no bags I went down again to reception. My bags had been lost! Me and the bell boy eventually found my bags. I was very tired by this time, I grabbed a shower and realised how filthy and run-down the room was. I had partially unpacked by this time, but I decided to challenge the whole situation with the manager. I found him strutting around reception. I explained the situation, and requested a new room. \"Give me 5 minutes\" he said. 20 miuntes later he had disappeared. I was eventually given a clean room. But the safe was defective, and the minibar locked. I stayed 3 nights. My experience did not improve - poolside areas were dirty, service was slow or non-existent, no coffee was available at breakfast!!, no clean glasses available for water in reception, etc, etc. 5 star? I don't think so!!! And Radisson Blu??? No where near the standard of any other Radisson Blu hotel that I've ever stayed in, and not worthy of the name Radisson Blu. Shocking.

Will not recommend or will not stay again

Stayed for a night with elders in the family. The front desk was courteous but rest of the staff was rude. No sense of hospitality.

We checked in around 2:30 and decided to try the restaurant in the hotel when the front desk said that they serve veg thali. We waited for 20 minutes after which the server came and said there is no thali since it’s already 3. The whole point of going into the restaurant was because of the availability of thali. Then we ordered paratha, okra and a chicken dish. It took an hour before the food was served even though there were hardly 3 other tables occupied. Then about the food, it’s an understatement to say it was spicy. We couldn’t finish the food. Restaurant was a total disappointment.

Once we retired for the night we could hear people talking/shouting outside our door till 11:30 pm. No quiet time at all. During the same time I received at least 4 different blank calls on their intercom. It stopped after I called the front desk and told them that I will be calling the cops.

Totally disappointed.

A not so 3 star property!

At the time of check-in, I was told that I am being upgraded to the business category room with which I was kind of happy and thanked the staff as I was really tired. However, when I entered the room, there was water on the floor (guess leaked from the overhead AC unit). After a while I realized that there was a smell in the room and hence I called up teh reception to ask if they had given me a smoking room. To this, I was told yes its a smoking room and I can smoke in there. I told the person that I dont smoke and hence I would like to change the room because of the smell to which he replied that they can spray a freshner in the room.
On telling that I need to change the room, I was told that there are only twin bed rooms! I had to go for it because of the smoking smell in the room; even though at the time of booking, I had clearly opted for non-smoking and king bed room.
Then in the restaurant, when I asked for the menu, I was handed over a torn menu card! I mean, you represent a world known brand so atleast keep up to the standards!

While I was upgraded upon check in and the room was beautiful with a great view, and the breakfast was nice, I had a horrible experience upon checkout at this hotel. To make a long story short, the hotel charged me almost $200 USD for two international phone calls I made despite the fact that I called the front desk before making the first call to ask if the phone was free to use, and they said “yes”.

The fact that the hotel manager would not refund me for this charge and honour their word is extremely disappointing. I had faith that Haritha would resolve the issue but she would not go around the policy and make an exception. I will not be staying at this hotel again. I believe you should always trust the customer, but in this case they sided with their staff who denied I had ever called to ask. Disappointing and I expect better.

The only good thing about this hotel is breakfast. The bathroom stinks to the point where we cannot even leave the doors open. The bathtub in our bathroom had a slope on the sides, while taking a bath, the water would get onto the floor and make a puddle.
The dust in the room, under the chair, on the table lamps was horrible. It looks like they haven't cleaned or vacuumed the room in months! House keeping needs a major supervisor check..

Don't waste your money on this one.

Very disappointing. There were used towels hanging on the bathroom door, so the room was not properly cleaned and prepared before allocating. The room had a stink as well. Then they downgraded me to a room with two single beds which was not acceptable and then to a box room without windows which I accepted as I was too tired at the end of a long day to argue with them.

We were staying here on a business trip for only one night. We were checking in late at night and we were also very late for the included breakfast, still the service was great and we even got breakfast after closing time, which was really nice of the staff. The room 1910 was small, unfortunately the curtains were not closing properly and the mattress was very firm, not the comfort we were expecting. Also the tooth brushes were missing. We called the room service and asked for two but only got one. Nevertheless a good place to stay for one or two nights.

The upkeep of the property is not great. The bathroom fixtures have a worn-out appearance and have some very shoddy patchwork done on them to compound things. Not the condition I expected at a Radisson. The beds were not too comfy - felt like sleeping in a hammock.
