A nice overnight stay for a road trip.

Our room was clearly newly renovated and we felt it was exceptionally clean. The lobby area is very clean and renovated. The gym was spacious and had everything you needed for a good workout, although machines are quite dated they are functional. The pool area was also very clean and loungers were comfortable. The pool did look like it needed cleaning on the sides and bottom of the pool so we didn’t go in. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great Hotel

The weather was very hot and the air conditioner in the room was struggling, but we managed OK. Breakfast is very nice for 12 Euro, and the pool was welcome in the hot weather, but for some strange reason you have to wear a cap in the pool. I have not experienced this anywhere in the world before.

When we discovered that the elevator did no go directly to the floor our room was on, we asked to be moved. We were told that we had booked the cheapest room in the hotel and if we wanted to move we had to pay about 30% more. When we booked,we were not told any of this, so I consider it a bait and switch. Also, the hotel is large, but seemed fairly empty. So they could easily have been more accommodating. The staff was unfriendly and made it feel like they were doing us a favor. The A/C went off in the middle of the night so the room was airless. The internet seemed to drop out frequently. The surrounding area is semi industrial, and very uninviting. lovely hotel even if the area was not the best

check in was excellent with a wonderful lady think her name was Miriam. Her english was brilliant and she was most welcoming. we loved everything about the hotel even the proximity to the trains. one draw back was the restaurant staff. one waitress in particular was quite rude. was more interested in the larger parties and we asked for drinks which did not arrive, when she remembered it was too late as we had finished. we did not eat in there again as it was not a pleasant experience. that said, the food was excellent, just the service poor. Great location for visiting Venice and Verona and the winery Borga Rocca Sveva. a must for anybody visiting the area. the old town was so beautiful too.

This place was amazing!! The staff was very helpful and very friendly. I cannot express enough what a wonderful stay we had here. Happy days in Italy

Great location, 5 min walk to train station. Hotel grounds and pool are beautiful, the breakfast choices are absolutely amazing. Garda easy to reach by car and town of Soave is close by, where we enjoyed a wine tour an amazing hidden gem.

Fabulous hotel close to the train station

Lovely hotel, given an upgrade to the newer part of the hotel and the room was beautiful. The staff at reception were very helpful and nice,and welcome drink was offered and there was a swimming pool as well. Nice to have a kettle in the room, a rare treat! Great hotel just wish we could have stayed longer. Close to the train station and not far from verona on the train.

Correct hotel to stay, clean and organized

It was an okay hotel to stay. Nothing extra, but you get everything you need. Rooms were clean, breakfast is really Rich (recommended!), area is not special but there is Soave Castle - I recommend to visit (10 mins drive).
Staff was average, welcome drink was available till 8 pm (they did not say that in advance); but there was snack to the drink which was fine.

Very close to high speed railroad. sleep with open windows is impossible.
Air condition at same time very weak, at maximum power it was stuffily.

Breakfast quality depends on number of visitors.

Same for wifi. At Friday evening it stops to work till middle of Saturday. Receptionist tell that its because too many people comes to hotel...

Really a high class motel.

A very high staendard motor inn. Really need a car to enjoy nearby Verona and its magnificent amphitheater where they perform opera. Interestingly a free minibar with soft drinks,water and a beer.

For people traveling or on business by car, it's a good location.
At first I was surprised by the atmosphere, tight it was done sort of motel for couples, there was photos of rooms with themes at the lobby.
Moment later, saw bunch of people with kids and family.
Clean room, great service, breakfast was so rich. I saw people taking pictures.

Visiting for Vinitaly, this is a functional, easy option, and was better value than central Verona hotels. San Bonifacio has a couple of good pizzerias. Easy train straight into Verona.

Great location just minutes by train from Verona

We were travelling with a Eurail pass and opted for a smaller centre outside Verona so we could go on day trips in either direction. The hotel is rated 3 star but offered a much higher experience. A free welcome wine and nightly free tapas bar, full restaurant menu for dinner, great room amenities including a bath robe, tea kettle, hair dryer, a large complimentary hot and cold breakfast that included a gluten free section. The outdoor swimming pool is open in the summer months. We did not visit the gym. The hotel is a short walk from the train station but you must go under the street, down a block and around a corner to reach the hotel. One evening the under street pass was being painted. There was no safe way to the hotel so we had to take a taxi but the cost was only 5 Euros. The local people were most helpful. Carry the hotel phone number with you as we could not locate it in the phone book.

Confortable hotel for good price

We spent a night at the hotel, it is very close to the highway, easy to find. We stayed at the 3 star part of the hotel, the room was nice, clean, well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast was perfect, wide variety, plenty of healthy food as well.
We got some incorrect information from the front desk about the castle nearby, and we had some small misunderstanding during our check in but overall they were friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful room, friendly staff who were very helpful. There was never a language barrier as all staff seemed to be able to speak a little English. The hotel does feel like it's in the middle of nowhere.. But with the easy and cheap trains it didn't become an issue.

Very close to the train station (excellent train connections to Verona and Venice)

Shuttle from airport to train station (6 euros). Tourist information have us the time table for trains and a very helpful map of Verona. Train from Verona to San Bonificio(2.80 euros). When you come out of the train station, turn left and walk to the round about. Take the underground walk way and you will see the hotel on your right (walk round to the next street).

Highly recommend a train ride to Venice (18 euro return) Gondolier ride was a set price wherever you went. 80 euro for 40 mins during the day or 100 euro in the evening.. I would recommend this as a must! :)

PS, if your given a train ticket which isn't printed with your travel information. Make sure you validate it in the little machines. It's a 200 euro fine if you don't.. We didn't realise this, but the inspector was nice and didn't fine us :)

Relaxing, quiet getaway...

We booked this hotel based on price and other reviews. The hotel itself and its employees are remarkable. They were consistently cleaning and willing to help. We were pleasantly surprised by the 2 Mac computers, free coffee bar and free snacks with welcome drink every evening. The restaurant and also the breakfast buffet were awesome. Hotel administration should commend the young male who ran the breakfast buffet and bar plus served us one evening meal. He made our stay perfect. We spent and entire afternoon at the pool alone which was nice. Before booking you need to decide if a 20-30 min train ride from Verona or a 1 hour bus ride is worth this, in my opinion 5 star, private resort!

Disappointing

We arrived to a hotel that is located next to a strip club - very disturbing especially if you travel with a family... We were surprised to find out that the room we got looked completely different than the room we saw online... Apparently they built a new area and this is the area they are advertising online!!!! To get this room, we had to pay 15 Eur more per night - we had to upgrade bc the room we first got was small and dark and not well maintained..
The worst part was that we did not have air conditioning for the three nights we stayed at the hotel!!! Sleeping there was a nightmare! 28 degrees C !!they kept saying they are working on fixing it - but three nights?! Thats just a disgrace! We opened a window to make the room cooler but the train rails are just behind the hotel and trains keep on passing every 10 minutes all night!!!! Worst past was the service and the staff's attitude- never had such a bad experience!
We were very disappointed !

quick stop

Just one night, but managed to use the gym which I found clean and in good working order. The room was as I would expect and the bed was comfortable so my wife and I had a good nights sleep. the bathroom drains need some attention but didn't cause me much discomfort or inconvenience. the staff were very helpful and polite and well dressed. The first impression from driving up to the hotel was poor but quickly turned around once approaching the main door by foot and once inside instantly converted. Great value for money.

Fabulous hotel for an overbite stay - poor neighbo

The hotel was conveniently located right of the train terminal coming out - under the the tunnel and to the right you can easily see it. The hotel is very very modern after staying in the old hotels of Italy so it was a nice reprieve! However, the town of San bonificio is a dump and there's really no way to get around. We tried to walk to the castle cuz the girl at the hotel said sure just take a left then a right ------ yea ----- the 8 miles later and many lefts and rights you reach a castle!!!! Seriously!!!!! Do you even live here?????? Then you get to the town of SOAUVE which is neat unless its a Sunday and all is closed and the castle is too for renovation! So check it all out before you stay is what I'm saying unless you have your own car! Also if you getting a train out - how difficult - the machine only takes coins which are difficult to make change - you have to buy bags of chips till you have enough! But the modern comforts of the hotel made it worthwhile and the upgraded rooms are worth it!!!! The restaurant ----- the best!!!!!!!

The hotel is up to date. Very contemporary setting. The service was excellent. The room perfectly clean and very comfortable. The hotel had facilities for all your business needs. Apple stations, coffee station with Nespresso coffee, tee... Breakfast was excellent - plenty of choices. Pool area was very secluded and pretty. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Absolutely recommend it. It is a perfect stop before Verona.

great hotel if you come by car.

we had tickets to the opera in the Roman Coliseum in Verona but did not want to deal with the hassle of a downtown hotel ref. parking, etc. The Soave fit our desires perfectly. It is about 20 min. from Verona and the parking was free on the premises. The hotel itself is thoroughly modern and the abundant breakfast was served in the garden. Unfortunately, our time was short, so we could not visit the castle by the same name, not the vinery! Next time!

This has to be the best location if you want to stay away from touristy places. It is perfect for day trips to Venice, Vicenza, and Verona. There are fascinating small towns with interesting architecture, and history. I had forgotten what a lovely aroma permeates the air when the jasmine is in bloom. This is also close enough to explore the Italian alps and Lake Garda, plus tons of vineyards and several castles. Just a few minutes away is Montecchio Maggiore, home to the Romeo and Juliet castles according to legend. In Castillo di Guilietta there is a lovely restaurant with an interesting menu and great views of the entire area.

Great road side stop!

We were travelling very late from Milan to Venice and decided to stop half way there. This was a great alternative and close to Verona where we went out for dinner. Excellent quality room with great standard. They also had a free welcome drink with apperitivo. Breakfast was great and good quality. Highly recommended for a road side stop on your journey.

Great hotel for exploring couple!

I travelled as a couple to Italy and booked everything online. The hotel was just off the beaten path, just 20 minutes from Verona. Although the surrounding town looked a bit rundown, it was just quaint enough for us to walk around during the day to take in some of the sights. The hotel itself was very clean, the staff were friendly. We had one issue with our room shower and they were able to fix it the following morning. Breakfast is included daily and is served in this bright, cheerful dining area looking out onto the garden and pool area. Breakfast was the same every day, but there was enough variety of fruits, meats, cheeses, bread, cereal, veggies, etc to keep us full for our daily activities.

We recieved a very modern room complete with refrigerator, safebox and some refreshements in the fridge. The room was spacious enough for two and offered free wi-fi. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature overall was comfortable. The hotel is very eco-friendly even providing guests a room trash bucket separating your paper and plastics!

The hotel is walking distance from the train via an underground passage just around the corner from the hotel. It is a bit creepy at night. We took it to Venice (highly recommended) and it was easy to follow and use.

The restaurant onsite for dinner - EXCELLENT! The staff were wonderful and talked us through the menu - all in Italian. Every meal we had was superb, highly recommend it!

The only bad thing about our stay was that they restaurant service was not very good. We live in Europe so we are used to taking 2 hrs to eat a meal but for it to take 2 hrs before we are even offered a dessert is very unacceptable. The hotel was very modern and very nice it was right across the highway from the Soave Castle which was cool to see i wish we would have had the time to go and see it. We will be staying at the hotel again when we come back to visit Verona.

Best Western Soave Hotel

We had an option of paying extra for the upgraded room which we took, but when we got to our room we found it had the old decor. Because it was late and we were tired, we decided not to complain.
We went for breakfast 15 minutes before the end of the breakfast service and found the staff already clearing in a mad rush. It made us a little uncomfortable since we knew that we still had time but the nail in the coffin came at 10am when they switched off the lights in the breakfast room leaving around 20 guests eating with only the light coming through the windows lighting the entire room.

Staff was overall helpful, but quite rude at times (I was stopped whilst passing by the reception area to be asked (with despicable manners) about financial details regarding the check out. Never ever happened in any Hotel before! Gym fairly worn but with a very friendly trainer. There are fantastic rooms in the \"new area\" (recently built, I understand), but the other ones are quite \"depressive\" and not properly furbished, although considerably cheaper. Courtesy food served in the evenings is decent and the Hotel restaurant is excellent.

Very pleasantly surprised. Nice friendly atmosphere .On arrival we received a welcome drink local wine ...with local mezedes ..then we ate in the hotel's restaurant ..very good service ...excellent food at reasonable prices...very good experience .

The breakfast was good too. Breakfat area room looks out onto a flower garden area with a swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas.

Good location for people who wish to explore surrounding areas ....or for people like us travelling to/from Venice or Ancona for ferry service to greece.

The hotel was very good. The front desk service was very helpful. The exterior of the hotel is a disappointment but once you are inside the renovations are modern and well done. The pool and garden are nice. We didn't get a newly renovated room so it was a very standard hotel room but quite large and clean.
It was easy to go to venice or verona by train [a 5 min. walk to the train station from the hotel] . The breakfast room is bright and has a variety of food.I would stay here again and for the price it is a really good value.

Felt way better than 3 star

The hotel is close to the San Bonifacio train station, about 200 meters and would be a good stop between Venice and Bologna or Milan or as a base to explore from. I stayed for 3 days and had a car, parking was free and there are several nice towns around it. The hotel is clean bright and modern, the staff is friendly and multi lingual speaking Italian, German, English, and French from what I saw. The lobby area has a complimentary Wii and play station games, there is free wireless internet and, free computers for use. There is also a pool table in the lounge. There is a weights room that is well equipped and has a fun rowing machine that has a DOS row race screen. The hotel has 2 sections, the classic rooms which are like your average hotel room and the emotion rooms which are gorgeous! Ours had hard wood floors, stone walls, a large shower tiled with slate, huge comfortable bed and an air con system that worked perfectly. The outside poor and lounge area out the back abuts the rail line, but foliage provides privacy and the trains stop running at 10pm. The pool is small but clean and really refreshing! The breakfast buffet is generous and delicious with eggs, pastries, meats, fresh fruit, juice, cereal etc. The onsite restaurant has a good menu and multilingual staff, local Italians from the town come in to dine there too.

Es wär noch schön, wenn jemand vom Hotel die “reservierten” Liegen wieder frei machen würde wenn sie ja doch keiner nutzt…

Un hôtel très confortable, un accueil de qualité. Une magnifique piscine extérieure. Ne pas hésiter à prendre le petit déjeuner, pour 12€ il est juste incroyable. Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel.

Der Empfang war wirklich super freundlich und herzlich! Alles super lieb und genau erklärt

Auch dass in Italien Badehaubenpflicht ist
Man kann an der Rezeption eine kaufen (3,-)
od in der Gegend hätte es bestimmt auch ein Sportgeschäft gegeben
aber wir waren ja nicht zum Schwimmen dort ;)

Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet war super.
Da das Hotel kaum Gäste hatte, stand niemand dort wo es frisches Omlett gegeben hätte, doch ich bin mir sicher:
hätte man gefragt, hätte man es bekommen, (Eierspeise hat es beim Buffet fertig gegeben :) )
auf Nachfrage haben wir auch frische harte Eier bekommen

Hotel selbst liegt am Rande des kleinen Ortes
Supermärkte & kleine Einkaufsgalerie in der Nähe (mit Auto in 2 Minuten) und viele Restaurants an der „Hauptstraße“ die nach Verona führt
Das Ortszentrum wirkt am Abend auch sehr lieb und es gibt ein paar kleine italienische Lokale, viele Kaffees & Eisgeschäfte

Die Gegend liegt praktisch wenn man einen Tagesausflug nach Verona plant
30-40 Min ohne Autobahn (keine Kosten!) einfach nur der Hauptstraße nach

Da wir Blick auf Pool & Garten hatten haben wir dahinter die Bahn erblickt (wussten davon aber die Rezesionen haben sich geteilt)

Wir haben den Zug tatsächlich nur 2x in der Nacht gehört -anscheinend war das Bett perfekt für uns

Wir waren zufrieden
War für uns ein 2 Nächte Zwischenstopp-genutzt für Veronaerkundung

Ne vous fiez pas à l’apparence extérieur, cet hôtel est un petit bijou ! Deco soignée, service et personnel au top, chambre spacieuse, une vraie salle de sport et un espace extérieur avec piscine super agréable ! Vi kom sent så trengte bare ett sted å sove. Rommet var kjempestort og sengen var fantatisk. Rommet var mørkt om morgenen så vi slapp å våkne av solen. Treningsrommet var kjempe bra!. Ett av de beste jeg har sett på ett hotell. De hadde utendørsbasseng så vi ble noen timer ekstra dagen etterpå for å nyte sol og basseng.

All’arrivo ci siamo accorti che sul letto superiore del letto a castello mancava la Sponda di sicurezza: Avendo due bambine piccole non abituate al letto a castello abbiamo chiesto ovviamente una sponda: C’è stato risposto frettolosamente che non ne avevano perché nessuno l’aveva mai richieste, senza nemmeno cercare di trovare una soluzione alternativa. Alla fine mi sono industriato e ho smontato due ripiani di un armadio incastrandoli nel letto simulando una sponda… in più aria condizionata guasta in un giorno con più di 35 gradi… mai più…

Bestil kun som gennemfarts hotel

Hotellet er karakteriseret af et typisk “gennemfarts” hotel. Det er rent og fint til det formål, og værelserne er fine. Men vil du gerne have den italienske stemning, så skal du ikke booke hotellet. Hotellet ligger lige ved siden af en togbane og en kæmpe motorvej, som du ikke kan undgå at blive forstyrret af, når du ligger ved poolen. Derudover blev vi vækket 3 gange i løbet af en time om natten pga. strømafbrydelse, hvilket betød at lyset tændte og airconditionen slukkede.

Une nuit en famille

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour une nuit d'étape sur le chemin du retour de la Croatie. Une petite merveille: nous sommes arrivés plus tôt que prévu et avons profité d'un après -midi à la piscine, parfait pour défouler les enfants ( attention: pensez au bonnet de bain), l'accueil était parfait et il y a tout un tas de petites attentions pour les hôtes. La déco intérieure est soignée, le bar varié et bon marché, et la chambre familiale est vraiment bien.
Le lit est tellement grand que l'on est déçu du sien quand on arrive à la maison...
N'hésitez pas, c'est une bonne adresse, à un tarif très correct pour les prestations.
