Good choice near the train station
Was on the Camino in April and stayed here to dry out (!) while awaiting the train to Sarria.
A bit off the Camino but not so much as to be a hardship.

Hotel close to castle and train station
My preference is a shower vs a bath tub. Getting out of the tub is tricky when it is wet because you have to step over the walls of tub. The breakfast was very good. The area around the hotel was nice and quiet. Only 5 to 10 minutes to train station.

The room was hot so prevented a good nights sleep and air con noisy and not very effective. Coupled with the noisy plumbing from other rooms sleep was not good. Breakfast choice ok, just continental. No boiling water to make tea. Noisy but all noise created by staff stacking plates in restaurant! We were the only ones in there so could have been done later.

This hotel was far better than I had expected. The decor is modern and clean, and the staff were very helpful. I didn't have breakfast, but there is a fabulous churros and chocolate place just round the corner on the pedestrian precinct.

We stayed at this hotel while walking El Camino. Booked here in error - meant to book at the Aroi in the city centre and didn't realize there are two hotels with similar names! Good price; Nice bright clean room, located about a 10-15 minute walk to the historic centre, and midway between the bus and train stations (about a 10 minute walk to each) and to El Camino.
Since the hotel was rated as 4 star, we were disappointed with the bed, which was very uncomfortable, and there was no bar in the hotel (although several just down the street).

A nice hotel at a very reasonable price
This is a very nice hotel. Updated, clean, and comfortable. Location is OK, and we were able to park outside on the street with no problem. Breakfast was good. The bathroom was spacious, but whoever designed it needs a lesson in the use of space. Although there was plenty of room, we had to climb over the bidet to get into and out of the shower. What was someone thinking when they designed that arrangement? Overall, though, a pleasant stay in a nice hotel.

Une chambre minuscule à laquelle on ne s'attend pas lorsque l'on réserve dans un 4 étoiles. De plus, propreté à revoir notamment dans la salle de bain où la bouche d'aération laissait tomber des salissures sur les toilettes. Néanmoins, les points positifs sont la possibilité de se garer facilement, la proximité avec une artère piétonne dans laquelle se trouve de nombreux bars et restaurants et la literie de l'hôtel qui est confortable.
