Clean room, lots of space and storage, in residential area, but close to shopping, restaurants and in a very good area of the city. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and waiters were very nice. I give it only 4 stars because the gym was not in good condition, apparently they are renovating and will be getting new equipment soon.

I'd stayed here before a little more than three years prior, and I was glad to get back! I LOVE this area of Bogota. It's very safe, clean, and quiet. Upon check-in, I was upgraded to a MUCH bigger room because of my Expedia status. This room had a kitchenette (small fridge, stovetop for simple cooking/warming up things) a dinette set, and a couch! It faced the street, and I could see a little brook out in front. It is walking distance to shopping, salons, a mall--you name it. The restaurant here is great, whether ordering from the menu, or the 'super spread' buffet they have for breakfast with so much variety and eggs made to order. The bathroom was huge, my bed was huge--it was just great! The staff is super sweet and helpful there, too. I can't say enough good things about this place!

I really wanted to love this property, but several basics kept getting in the way. Rooms look stylish at first glance, yet the thin walls, doors, and single-pane windows offer no soundproofing. Every noise from the street came in clearly—traffic, honking, even conversations. There’s no A/C, so opening the window for airflow just made the noise worse.

Maintenance is also an issue: the bathroom knob in my room was broken, and some moldings had come off the furniture. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all above the second floor, which made working remotely a nightmare.

Towels felt old and scratchy, and even the plates in the restaurant didn’t match. The gym is outdated and extremely small—definitely not what you’d expect from a hotel advertised as 4 stars.

On the plus side, the staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was okay. But overall, this is not a 4-star experience. If I’m being generous, I’d rate it 3 stars at most.

I stayed with my family of 6. We had to take an UBER from the airport because of the language barrier with the front reception. Days before we arrived we emailed the information for them to help with transportation from the airport. when we got there the receptionist at front desk could not understand what I was saying so we had to take an airport shuttle service which was fine. COP 127,000 COP rather than $150,000 (about USD $35) COP that the hotel front reception would help us with. Apart from that, OSCAR was our guy. He was bilungual and also he went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable time whenever we went for breakfast. Btw the breakfast was really delicious and fruits were so fresh. Seem like they had fresh fruits delivered everyday for us. The food was good. The only thing we are not meat eaters and most of what we would want to try had ham or some type of meat. Overall, breakfast was our best part of the day at Faranda Bogota!

I really love my stay at this hotel, it’s human sized and the staff is wonderful, particularly at breakfast. The only bad thing is the noise of the music of the gym, you can hear it all day when you are on the 5th floor. Why is it necessary to turn the music so loud? Except that the hotel is quiet (and except when there is Spanish crew member together). I definitely recommend this hotel and I will come back next time.

Very nice and hotel. Relaxing view of the mountains. Friendly staff and super polite. The room we got had a malfunction with the hot water system. They upgraded us immediately to a suite for the inconvenience. Breakfast was good.

The only thing is that the sliding door of the porch doesn't close good and I didn't like that

At a glance the room we choose was a bit small for us, gladly Alex in charge of reservations re assign us the next day to a bigger suite with better amenities. The service was great from all the staff and were very helpful in all our needs. This is a great location since it is close to one if the best shopping malls in Bogota, Unicentro is within 12 min walk or you can choose to rent a bike and take a bike to the mall where there is plenty of food offerings. The location is great since it is away from high traffic streets, it is quiet inside a great neighborhood. I’ll come back again.

Comfortable hotel in upscale part of town

\"Hotel Faranda - Club House\". Stayed here already 6 years ago. Comfortable quiet rooms with kitchenette and a little table, good for guests on business. Small gym on top floor, though the only cardio machines are 3 older bikes. Area is relatively quiet and about 5-10 minutes walk away from good restaurants and malls. Friendly personnel. Significant charge for having visitors.

We had an excellent stay! The room was comfortable and perfect for my father and I as there is a tv and book shelf console that divides the bed from the living room area. The sofa bed was even comfortable! Only suggestion for others is if they are light sleepers that they request a quiet room in advance. Though we didn't use it much, the kitchenette is convenient to have. Breakfast was a nice variety of local cuisine and western-style. We checked in late and out early and the night staff were especially helpful and very warm! We very much enjoyed our time at Faranda Bogotá!

Hotel said they were full at check-in and they booked another hotel for us. Wth? We would have cancelled but had already prepaid Expedia and didn’t want to get into that mess the night of our stay. The hotel said the replacement was of equal value—but when we arrived at the other hotel it was at the corner of a massive busy intersection many blocks away from this hotel’s location. I normally don’t write reviews but I wanted to note this onto this hotel’s reviews in case they are doing this as a general business practice.

Room was NOT available upon arrival and we were sent to a different Hotel for the first night( still trying to find out whose mistake this was ). Other than this BIG inconvenience the Hotel is very nice! Be aware that the rooms do not have A/C and that this was really not necessary. Other than that Hotel is great

Unique experience in Bogotá

I stayed in this hotel for 3 night. Nice rooms, lots of space and the bed provided good sleep quality. This hotel is located in a quiet place of Bogotá.
The restaurant's breakfast which is included is basic but enought if you are in business travel. The restaurant staff are very helpful and service oriented, Alonso was my waiter and I am very satisfied with his service. Gym basic, roof top with mountain view, walking distance to Unicentro (big mall with lot of fast foods, restaurants, theater and good stores)

Overall, the stay was good and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was beautiful, clean, modern luxury. The only bad thing I could say is that the hotel is located in quiet neighbourhood, not much going on there. The spa was very nice. My wife and I wanted a couples massage, but settled for a fantastic single massage, one at a time. Breakfast is included, and it was decent.

1. Overpriced.
2. Horrible staff service. I booked a room for 2 adults breakfast included. It was a surprise for my fiance. I asked for flowers in the room but Vanessa, the hotel manager, said it was not possible because they only bought flowers once every two weeks. They charged one extra breakfast. When I asked why, Vanessa came to my table (my fiance was there) and pointed out loud that would had not happended would I had booked a more expensive plan, mine was the cheapest, and that I was right, the HOTEL HAD MADE A MISTAKE in the Expedia offering BUT I HAD TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE because \"the person in charge of the Internet offers was not available\". Will never go back.

Es un hotel lindo. Cómodas las camas. El desayuno muy rico pero la comida del restaurante de la carta no es rico. Pedimos pasta y unas costillas y no estaban ricas. El personal es muy amable especialmente el señor de el buffet del desayuno.
