I stayed at the Haevichi Hotel in Jeju for 3 nights and 4 days. During my stay, I ordered two morning baskets, but there was no information provided about food allergies at all. Later, we also visited the buffet restaurant inside the hotel, and again, there were no allergy labels or warnings on any of the dishes.

When I asked about peanut allergy, the staff said they would check, but it took such a long time that my son, who has a peanut allergy, couldn’t even have a proper meal and had to leave hungry. Considering that the breakfast buffet costs over 60,000 KRW per person, this was extremely disappointing.

The food selection was also quite limited, especially for people who don’t eat pork. On top of that, the service felt very scripted and impersonal — polite, but lacking genuine warmth.

For a hotel of this level and price, I expected much better attention to guest safety and dietary needs. I sincerely hope the hotel improves its allergy awareness and communication for future guests.

A wonderful stay. We stayed on the resort side. The junior suite is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The basement fun zone is great, with video games, ping pong and a pool table. The swimming pools are lovely, don’t forget a swim cap though you can also rent them. The food is good though expensive.

Very spacious room! Lovely village view and staff are welcoming and helpful. We got lost at the other building and one staff even escorted us all the way back. There’s a lot of facilities at the hotel which we didn’t try as we forgot our swim wear thinking it’s autumn season. Will stay again if we do visit Jeju!

This hotel is amazing and a must recommend when visiting Jeju Island. Based on other’s reviews, I was aware that we will need to rent swimming caps if swimming indoors so this didn’t bother me. As for dining, they have good options in the facility but if you want to taste famous local dishes, it is not far away by car. Everything is amazjng including the convenience store on site and the games area that is available for all to use. The room is great and one of the best lay out and decor I have ever seen. The only thing I would recommend is to add laundry facilities because there are swimming pools everywhere and although they provide clothes hanger, the clothes might not dry on time prior to checkout or your flight. Otherwise, it was a great experience and I would come here again!

Nice peaceful place to stay

Very nice resort - away from busier parts of the island but still close to local restaurants, the beach, and the folk village. The restaurants in the resort are a bit expensive for dinner but there are plenty of more economical options within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was excellent - especially the local tangerines. The coffee barista was especially friendly, helpful, and hard working!

1. 피트니스룸의 온도가 1층 수영장에서 유입되는 습기로 습도가 너무 높아 운동하는데 체감온도가 넘 높았고 또 피트니스시설 사용하기 위해서 1층에서 다시 체크인해야 되는 절차가 매우 불편했습니다. 또한 높은 습기로 운동기구의 전자기판 내구성에 영향을 미칠것으로 생각합니다.

2. 1층 식당옆 라운지바에서 가수가 노래를 밤10시까지 큰소리로 불러 8층방까지 소음이 들려 조용히 쉬려는데 토요일, 일요일 양일간 매우 매우 불편했습니다. 특급호텔에 투숙하는 고객에 대한 서비스를 좀 더 신경써야 될것으로 생각합니다.

3. 호텔 체크인 할때 해비치가 무슨 뜻이냐고 물었더니 해가 처음 비추는곳이라고 들었습니다, 그런데 이단어가 제주 방언에서 유래된건라고 알려주시면 더 좋았겠다. 해비치라는 단어가 순수 한국어인지 아니면 영어인지를 몰라서 물어보는데 말이죠.

4. 지하 주차장에 주차시 차를 편리하게 찾기위해서 각 기둥에 일련 번호를 표시하면 차찾기가 쉽지 않을까 생각합니다. 오성급호텔 지하주차장 기둥에 어떤 번호도 없어서 정말 황당했습니다.

5. 화장실 변기 사용후 물이 채워질때마다 나는 이상한 소음으로 매우 불편했습니다.

전체적으로 오성급 호텔은 아닌것으로 생각합니다.

Great space

There are 2 sides of the hotel, resort and hotel. Reception staff was very friendly and brought me to the resort side for check in. Rooms are big and spacious, but take note that although towels etc are provided, there is no toothbrush etc amenities provided.

Area around hotel is great for morning walk.

Nice environment for family.

Very nice surrounding and lobby. However, room in the resort side is a bit dated. The cool while lights they used does not help. Made it feels like a hospital. Huge room though that comes with small kitchen with utensils, good for family with kids. Very nice sea view. The part that caught me by surprised was that you need to pay to sit in the chair in the pool. That seems like a norm in Korea. Breakfast is bad, I will book without the breakfast.

Property location is pretty good. One of few ocean front hotels in Jeju. But I think it is not certainly five stars hotel. Maybe three..
Only the price is five stars outrageous price.
I booked resort not knowing that it is older part of property and couldn’t switch because I’ve booked thru Expedia. If you really want to try this property I would recommend to stay “hotel” part of property not “resort “.

Nice Hotel Resort for Families

Very nice hotel resort if you are a family with children.

The hotel web site difficult for English speaking since it does not have an English translation option. So we had to use a 3rd party booking agency to actually understand and book the room. In addition it would be nice if they had airport shuttle information available as we took a taxi across the island only to find out there was a shuttle, but we had no way to know or book.

A nice facility with nice rooms by the ocean. However there is no beach or ocean swimming as it is all rough lava rock. However the lava is beautiful to look at and explore. The location is close to town and local attractions. We found touring beyond the facility difficult since most tours leave from Jeju city on the other side of the island. Unless you have a car it Leaves mainly taxi touring.

There was only one pool open, the second was closed putting all guest in one pool. It was a beautiful pool and hot tub. However they were pretty much overrun monopolized children and families.

If your room includes breakfast there is a fantastic breakfast buffet. However it does get busy and there maybe a wait.

We would recommend this hotel resort to families, not so much for romantic couples.

객실은 깨끗했으나 시설이 다소 오래되어 욕실 서랍징 서랍은 매우 낡아 있었습니다. 또한 욕조에 안전 바가 없어 약간 불편했습니다. 거울도 잘 닦여 있지 않았습니다. 저녁 부페는 14만원 인데 이용자가 없어서인지 회전이 안되서 그런지 해산물 킹그랩다리 랍스타등이 단맛이 없고 맛이 없었습니다. 추천하지 않습니다. 다른 5성급 호텔에 비하면 좀 부족해 보이네요.

넓고 쾌적하고 위치도 좋음

신라나 롯데에 비해 룸도 넓고 전체 면적도 넓어서 산책하기도 좋고 도보 가능한 거리에 식당가가 있어서 좋아요.
표선 해수욕장은 아이가 어리거나 모래놀이/물놀이 용품들을 들고 걸어갈 수 있는 거리는 절대 아니에요. 성인들끼리 산책삼아 간다면 식당가 지나서 다녀오기에 괜찮을지도요. 키즈룸과 오락실(?)도 있어서 아이랑 놀기 좋았고 수영장은 신라에 비해서는 좀 작지만 쾌적한 편이에요.
1층 로비 근처에 현대 자동차 신모델들 3대 있어서 타보고 핸들 잡아볼 수 있어서 차 좋아하는 남자아이들 환장합니다ㅎㅎ

해변에 위치해 있는 큰 강점은 있습니다. 근데 전반적인 동선과 건물 내부의 짜임새, 시스템이 5성급 호텔에는 못미치는 느낌입니다. 대신 직원들의 응대 프로토컬이 잘 되어있는지 직원들이 정말 친절합니다. 다만 그런 부족한 프로세스 안에서 직원들만 고공분투하는 느낌이 들어 안타깝네요. 리조트 방은 새로 지어서 그런지 깨끗하고 좋습니다. 방은 창문 더러운거 빼곤 좋았습니다. 건물 내에 다양한 식당이나 즐길거리가 많지 않은 부분도 좀 아쉬웠습니다.

I want to go back and stay for longer days.

I recently stayed at the resort section of this chain and had a very pleasant experience. The newly remodeled resort complex was modern, clean, and provided a comfortable stay. While the sea view from the resort side is limited, the rooms were well-maintained with cozy beds, making for a relaxing environment. If you appreciate tranquility, the resort complex is a great choice. Additionally, the hotel staff were exceptionally kind and professional, enhancing the overall experience.

One thing to note is that there isn't a sandy beach nearby, but the stony shoreline, known as Gureombi, has its own unique charm. The only drawback is that the resort is a bit far from the airport, but if that’s not a concern, it’s a wonderful place to stay.
