We stayed two nights at the end of June. This hotel is in a very convenient location because it is central. It's close to Catania, Taormina and Mt Etna - all easily reachable within half an hour or so. It was an okay stay, but definitely not 4-star, in retrospect. The pool was an experience - it's obviously a source of additional income for the hotel so it's always crowded with non-guests. This goes for the parking, as well. It's a nightmare. Pluses: Convenient location and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Minuses: Pool and parking. Overall, it served us well.

I have booked for 1 double bed and 2 single. But there was only 1 double bed and 1 single in the room. When I went to the reception the next day to query, the lady at the reception the lady was rude and told me why I did not mentioned this on my arrival day one. I told her day one I was tired and did not take notice and thought that the sofa bed can open and turn into 2. There was two Tv's only one was working. Some of the lights was not working in the room 129. I did not bother to report it as I had a bad experience at the reception. However, the staff at the restaurant and room cleaners were friendly. The outdoor swimming was closed and we wanted to use the indoor swimming pool 11th June, we was told that there is no water. Overall a bad experience.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff who were very accommodating. The pool is incredible - you have to reserve in advance and the times did not seem so flexible (only one hour in the mornings), but this could have been because we were a family of four.

Breakfast was good, and the restaurant at dinner had very nice food - could maybe use a bit more variety on the menu (eg no pasta dishes was a bit of a surprise).

On the whole, very nice place for relaxation!

2 star rating at best. Outdated!

This hotel is outdated and overpriced without providing the basic amenities.
We checked in around 8pm to a junior suit for 4 people. Once checked in realized, they have no tea and coffee facilities in room nor a iron.
The hotel staff confirmed the basics are not included in the expensive apartment.
I was shocked that they do not even provide glasses for drinks unless you request from the bar.
If you need clothes ironed, you need to drag your clothes to reception and wait 30mins until they set up a room with a ancient iron to use.
The hairdryer within the bathrooms was from the 60's, plastic non usable handheld hoover looking pipes.

Lovely hotel with a great atmosphere

The hotel is really lovely. Our stay didn't start off very well as when we arrived there were 2 other very large families trying to check-in before us and only 1 receptionist. It took us over an hour to check in. Our check-in process in itself was quite efficient. Once we got to the room we could not switch on the light so we ask reception for help and they sent someone immediately. The rooms are clean, bright, have black-out curtains, a stocked minibar, a nice bathroom and space to work. bed is comfortable. The restaurant offers a very good dinner, with lots of choice, breakfast also offers a wide variety of choice. The pool is lovely and it's nice to spend some time there in the summer.

Hidden gem

Little did I know this hotel was stuck near a village with a couple of restaurants near by. I should’ve checked as l’d have hired a car as the taxis were
dear. If all you want is to relax by a pool & nothing else, this is for you. Hotel is nice & modern but the
service for food poolside is slow. For us the view of Etna in the morning from our balcony was a bonus.

The hotel itself was clean, tidy, modern and, on the surface, has everything you need. However, the pool shuts at 5pm, something that we didn't see on any booking, and it is also open to the public. There is not really anything within walking distance, but we did find some nice places to eat within a 15 minute drive.

NOTE: the indoor pool is owned by the spa and there is a charge of Euro10 per hour just to swim. At the end of the summer they close the outdoor pool.
The staff are very attentive to their guests and want to do everything they can to ensure you have a good stay.

Nice hotel, great breakfast. Well placed for visiting Mount Etna and Taormina.
Swim hats had to be worn in the pool but they sold them for one euro at the pool bar. Only downside was Luss being told not to jump into the pool.
Lively trattorias in nearby Viagrande.

Spacious and pleasant but the rooms were rather stuffy. Breakfast was nothing special. Indeed I have never seen such a waste of eggs and bacon which of been cooked in huge quantities and left without being warned to go cold , greasy , and revolting. Whilst this hotel is pleasant be aware that it is literally in the middle of nowhere and not convenient to get to main roads.

Work stay- comfortable suite

Stayed here for a work conference and booked the suite as it was one of the only rooms left. Nice, large and quiet double room with balcony across the length of it and lots of windows. Only complaint was the lack of views, which mostly looked out onto the parking lot courtyard and not Mt. Etna or the town.

Comfortable Modern Hotel

We found this a great hotel- modern facilities, good parking. Nice jumping off point to explore Mt Etna. Outdoor swimming pool looked nice but of course was closed since it was November. Indoor swimming pool in hotel belongs to a club so one pays extra to use it and the attached facilities. There is a shopping center or mall near by with all sorts of stores and a laundry store that will do your laundry. We couldn't use it because we were leaving the next day early and that was too fast for them. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Nice hotel in the Catania/Taormina/Etna area.

Very nice hotel and the price was on point. They had nicer rooms than the one we were given though, which was one of the last remaining. The other rooms are even nicer. Staff was freindly. There is a certain attention to detail at this hotel. If you need to stay in the Catania area, this hotel will meet the needs of those discerning travels who also do not wish to overspend. One concern however is they would not allow us to leave the breakfast area with some food for our son who was not feeling well. Instead they charged a £6.00 delivery fee.

We arrived late, had booked a junior suite because we wasted a balcony. First room they have us had no balcony, second room had a balcony, was filthy to the point you could see black smudges on the walls and needed to be repaired (the air conditioning control fell off the wall). The third room had the desired balcony and was clean enough. Half the light fixtures didn't work and the AC seemed to just made noise and smell bad. The staff were polite and accommodating, even in the face of my dissatisfaction with the rooms. We truncated our stay from over a week to one night. Breakfast was plentiful wth limited options. Private parking in front of the hotel that was secured during the night.

Nice hotel. would rate it a 3 star, rather than a 4 star. Found it odd that they do not have irons available nor do they have a 'house keeping' service that could iron for us on the weekend! We had to go to the local mall to get our suit and dress pressed for the wedding we were attending that evening! However, staff were helpful and accommodating.

Impressive hotel from the outside

I stayed at this hotel recently (April 2016) but was disappointed with the following:
The room was large but very plain with no pictures to brighten it up and only two small drawers inside the wardrobe with insufficient hangers, hardly enough for two people sharing. It was extremely hot in the room as the sun was shining through the patio doors all morning and the air conditioning didn't work. The air con was sending out hot air instead of cool air and the hotel's response to this was that it was winter-time so no air conditioning! We had to sleep with the patio doors open at night due to the heat and suffered multiple insect bites as a result.

It often took a while for bar staff to show up. However, when they did, they were very friendly and helpful. Overall, the waiting staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us but the management initially left much to be desired.

The hotel is frequented mainly by businessmen so quite corporate.

Six of my family stayed at your hotel - main reason was proximity to Acireale (Il Volo concert). Overall - great. Breakfast could have been somewhat better. Staff was extremely helpful - especially bar. We were served very late on our arrival and we really appreciated it. My final comment - I would stay again if I want to be close to Acireale. I regret not visiting the SPA - but we had limited time. Thank you.

We received a free upgrade to a Junior Suite, with split levels where our two kids were able to sleep downstairs. Upstairs had another king size bed with separate air conditioning unit. The Junior Suite was very spacious with a small balcony. I believe even the normal rooms are quite big. Rooms had no kettle though to make your own tea and coffee. Breakfast is of good quality. You can request for a packed breakfast if you have to leave for excursions or trips before breakfast time at 7am. Hotel is located in a small village, nothing much to do. So, a car is highly recommended. Mount Etna is about 35 mins drive away- something definitely worth visiting to the top with cable car and 4X4 excursion.

Got a very specious room for family of 5, which is more like a suite of 2 rooms. Breakfast was good, hotel looks good and new and well maintained. Outdoor pool area was also great for the kids. During our stay we visited Mount Etna (like 30 mins away), Taormina (40 mins away), Catania (25 mis away) and Siracusa (1 hour away). Nearby you can also find friendly restaurants. You would need a car to stay in this hotel.

Nice hotel in a good location

We spent 4 nights and overall the stay went as per planning and was excellent. We had hired a car so pretty much most of the sight seeing was only a hour's drive. Nice hotel with good facilities. Free wi-fi in the room and excellent spa facilities. Superior room was very spacious and most of the day we were out, so we were fine with the facilities in the room. Staff were excellent and they helped with questions on sight seeing and attractions.
I would recommend this hotel but as I said hiring a car is best for this hotel ....

we had been staying at a B&B on the east beach, which had no AC and was only just starting up, so we needed to make a change. the other communities did not offer anything we liked but our friends from Catania told us about this hotel. It's a business hotel with clean crisp rooms and the staff was very helpful. The 'buffet' salad, etc. in the restaurant was wonder. The only draw back was the breakfast room in the morning was so 'hot' and not a pleasant place to eat and drink coffee.

Stay for dinner, not for breakfast

hotel is very nice, but seems unfinished at times. Lights in the rooms are on sensors which seem over sensitive which woke us up both nights more than once. Lorna on reception was a pleasure and helped us immensely. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, no interaction from staff and poor range of options to eat.

The hotel did not have wi-fi available in the rooms, only in reception. There were no tea and coffee facilities. The pool was not available for my children as stated on the website. After a lengthy discussion with the management, the children were allowed to use the pool in the spa area for a charge of 13 euros each! On a positive note when my son wasv sick in his bed, the hotel staff were very helpful.

The only thing we would have liked to have had was a little higher level of air conditioning in our room. i think the capacity of the air conditioning unit was not strong enough for the big size of the room, but we were able to sleep comfortably during our stay. Overall, we were extremely happy with everything there. The front desk people all were very helpful.

Excellent service. Great place to stay. Terrible coffee for general consumption at breakfast, but ask for them to make you one and this too is superb.
We stayed for a week thinking it would be a good base to explore from. Very comfortable, but (no disrespect to the hotel) next time I would probably stay two or three hotels throughout a week on Sicily. If your sure the location's right, you won't get better on Sicily.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ora - kept extending it for an additional 4 nights! Bed is huge and super comfortable. Breakfast very good with attentive staff. Definitely recommend & would return ourselves if ever back in Sicily. Only negative was not being able to lay around the indoor pool without paying an extra 30 euros.

Ora Luxury Hotel - not great for little children

We stayed at the Ora Luxury Hotel for a long weekend due to it's proximity to a wedding we were attending. Whilst we found the staff to be very friendly and the hotel to be very comfortable - there were a few niggles. Firstly there were not any room safes (not that anything went astray, but it was a pain), secondly with two young children we were attracted by the choice of two pools - the outside pool was so cold as to not be useable and the indoor pool (in spite of no one at the time using it) was not available for the children to use, except for between 19.00 and 20.00 (I think as even this was not clear), thirdly, whilst sevice was always done by friendly and couteous staff - it was very very slow and finally, there was not a room service menu that I could find, which would have been helpful. Other friends who stayed minus their chidren I know were more able to beneft from what the hotel had to offer.

Squeaky new. Excellent as of service and room features. I got a nice off-season discount.
The spa facilities are good but not awesome.
Off the main sightseeing routes, however it takes about 30-40 mins to get to either Catania or Taormina.
Totally suggested if you need a quiet, out of town place to rest, have a car and are willing to drive.

This hotel will be fantastic, i say will be because it was very good during our stay but it had only been open a week so they were still experiencing some 'teething' problems. The outdoor pool area wasn't finished and work is still being done in some areas however the staff were very helpful, the hotel is immaculate and the food was delicious.

A good area to explore Etna from and have some luxury at the end of the day.

Wir wissen nicht genau, was wir von diesem Hotel halten sollen. Es war sauber, die Mitarbeiter alle Hilfsbereit, der Shuttleservice hat einwandfrei geklappt und wir hatten alles was wir brauchten, bis auf Möbel auf der Terrasse, auch die umliegenden Balkone hatten keine Gartenmöbel, sodass man draußen nicht sitzen konnte. Der Lüfter des Spabereiches lief durchgehend auf der weitläufigen Terrasse, wo man sowieso keine Privatsphäre hatte. Das Zimmer war dunkel eingerichtet, da es nur Stehlampen gab. Der Spabereich und auch die angebotene Massage hat uns überhaupt nicht gefallen. Wir haben nicht einmal die Salzmassage bekommen, welche wir vorab gebucht hatten. Der Poolbereich ist schön und man bekommt Handtücher. Auch die Preise der Poolbar sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Hoteleigene Restaurant hat keine Riesenauswahl, sodass man nach ein paar Tagen gut und gern im Ort nach anderen Restaurants guckt. Wir hatten trotzdem einen wundervollen Urlaub!!

Väldigt slitet hotell. Det hade nog sina glansdagar för ett bra tag sedan.
Dåligt underhållet. Slitet.
Rummet var dåligt städat. Spindelnät i hörnen.
Fin, men smutsig balkong, helt utan möbler. Den gick med andra ord inte att nyttja.
Strömmen gick när vi satte på sänglampan. Dom försökte lösa det, men uttaget hade brunnit.

Personalen var inte särskilt trevlig eller tillmötesgående. Många av dom kunde ingen engelska alls.

The room was dirty so was the surrounding areas. The bed was comfortable. The hotel needs a refresh of paint on the walls and a few repair as many things were broken or really old. This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel that Expedia should advertised as such but rather a 2-3 stars.

Hotellet och läget var bra och rent. Vi bokade hotellet med frukostbuffé. Vi checkade ut tidigt på morgonen och bad om att få ett frukostpaket som vi kunde hämta, eller att få beställa själva på grund av diabetes, vilket gör att vanliga söta frukostar inte passar. I receptionen fick vi ett ja, men ett otrevligt nej i restaurangen. Vi fick bara en liten äppelpaj och fruktjuice, vilket tvingade oss att slänga bort frukosten. Rekommenderar ej.

Bella struttura, con bellissima hall reception, bellissima sala colazione e piscina, possibilità di pranzare bordo piscina, e prezzi molto nella norma, parcheggio ampio e gratuito, bella Spa, anche se non ne abbiamo usufruito!!! Belle camere, un)ico neo....la vasca (anche se in ambienti grandi!!! Ma non la doccia!!! Provvederei subito!! Per il resto il personale di una gentilezza unica!!! Tutti!!

Devo fare i complimenti al personale tutto per aver risolto in tempi brevi alcuni problemi ed aver fatto si di aver passato due giornate nella pace e tranquillità che la location offre.

Familietur med 2 overnatninger.
Suite, 2 etager, en balkon og en terrasse.

Meget behagelige senge, virkeligt godt.
Morgenmaden var meget dejligt.

Balkon med udsigt til have.

Terrasse med meget høje mure hele vejen rundt, ingen udsigt, nyttesløst.

Parkeringsmuligheder umulige da hotellet samtidig har konferencer.
Der burde være parkering til hotellets overnattende gæster.
Det er et held hvis man finder en parkering om dagen.
Om aftenen intet problem.

L’albergo si trova in località per poter raggiungere Aci Trezza,ACI Castello e Catania. Una bella struttura anche se si vede che è un po’ datata.ottima colazione con dolce e salato.Personale molto attento alle esigenze della clientela. Consigliato. La chambre \"romantique\" s'ouvre directement sur la baignoire, assez vieille et se trouve sous les toits, avec une isolation insuffisante et une clip très peu performante. Restaurant basique mais cher, et aucun geste commercial malgré une erreur dans la commande... Piscine intérieure payante et piscine extérieure accessible aux non clients (ambiance piscine municipale)

Prenoto l'albergo con animali ammessi al prezzo di 20 euro a notte, per poi ritrovarmi sequestrata in stanza poiché il cane non può rimanere solo nella stanza na neanche accedere agli spazi comuni. Quindi non si può fare colazione, pranzare o andare in piscina. La reception mi ha detto che potevo fare tutto in camera...compreso la piscina!

I spent in Villa Itra four days with my family for holidays reason. I found the hotel very nice, the room was very big and comfortable, the breakfast was varied and plentiful . I found the ratio cost/result for the hotel a little too high.

Questo hotel è bellissimo ha un parcheggio ed è comodo per il ristorante l'unica pecca il personale della reception una delusione non salutano sembra che non ti vogliono considerare ho chiesto se potevo scaricare le valigie davanti nell'apposita area mi ha risposto si ma faccia presto che poi deve spostare il mezzo non ho mai visto un hotel a 4 stelle con del personale così indisponente

Hotel Bien dans son ensemble. Mais pour un 4*, chambre très bruyante le matin à coté de la route et chambre moyennement bien aménagé pour 4 personnes dans cette gamme (1 enfant sur canapé lit et un autre sur un lit pliant au milieux de la chambre). Odeur de cigare dans la chambre.. Petit déjeuné copieux et de qualité top. Accueil bien
