We had a girls trip and there were three of us in the room for a one night stay before we flew home It was very very small space. Not a lot of frills, very basic hotel. The staff were so nice and fun and helpful we have to give it five stars. We went to the restaurant expecting OK food and it was actually really really good with the best cocktails we had the entire time in Norway. Very basic amenities, but a lot of love goes into this place.

This place is amazing! The room was wonderful, very clean. The staff very helpful and courteous. Special shoutout to the chef and hostess who went out of their way to make an accommodation request for our very young child. The shuttle was very convenient as we arrived very late and our flight home was very early. The breakfast was amazing, so many options!

One of the best hotel breakfasts, excellent selection of usual hot items including fresh waffles and pancakes. Lots of cold options including chia seed yoghurt pots and fresh juices and smoothies. Good coffee machine and fresh bread and pastries. So much to choose from and a generous opening times from 4am for cold buffet if your flight is early. Very easy to get to airport via the regular shuttle 80 nok per person free for children. Or an Uber is 100-160 nok. Parking behind the hotel with charging points is at a cost but reasonable.

Everything was excellent overall, except that the room was too small for a family of four. Once the four beds were set up, there was barely any space to move around. That said, we only stayed one night as we were connecting to a flight the next day. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options.

We arrived at 2:30am after a delayed flight to essentially be told they had given our room away. They did apologise and arranged alternative accommodation with transport there but it took time to do so and was looking very uncertain for a period of time. It is unacceptable, and the last thing we needed on top of an already very stressful day.

Good value, close to the airport and the shuttle was really useful. Rooms made into family rooms were a bit small, especially with the chair that didn’t fit under the table. But clean and comfy beds. Breakfast was excellent for the price. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that I left 3 electric toothbrushes in the room and they weren't turned into lost property. One was a child's one. Other two were real, expensive brushes. I know I shouldn't have taken them and know it was my fault for leaving them, but very disappointing they weren't turned in.

I had left notes in my booking that were overlooked. I was unable to use the phone in the room to ring the front desk so I had to walk to the front and grab my pillows.
When we got to the room the heat was on the highest setting, and we could only crack the window. The room remained hot throughout the night- miserable.
Overall very irritated with this experience and not likely to return.

Room 274 is haunted, I have to wake up at 4am for an early flight but it ended for me to not go back to sleep after I see in my own eyes that someone is shaking my shoulder I thought it’s only a sleep paralysis but literally I’m awake not fighting or struggling to open my eyes, I stand up and grab my things went to the reception to tell my experience I didn’t even do my morning routine, I was on the phone with my friend talking to her all the way from SAN Diego California! She stayed with me on the phone till I literally got all my things and leave…
The night receptionist is not helpful he has an attitude!!! I have been traveling all over the world but never experienced like this…. The place is clean and convenient but after what I have experienced??? I don’t know if I’m going back there …. I’m just sharing my experience nothing against to the hotel…

Unable to complete registration online as site kept failing. Very slow to checkin. Small room with no spare pillows and no answer on phone from housekeeping. No milk or creamer in room, but bar did provide a cup of milk for coffee in room. Only for 24hr layover between flight. Bus transfer was £12 per person return and only took 7mins, and runs every 30mins.

Great staff super friendly and helpful room was clean and compact and comfy I would have preferred a double bed rather than two singles as I was travelling solo. I had all the facilities to make tea and coffee in the room but no kettle , this was mentioned to reception but they couldn’t find a spare so every time you wanted a drink it required getting dressed and going to the free tea and coffee station at reception

The hotel is budget but very nice. Has a small playroom, bar and restaurant area, friendly staff. 10 min from the airport. Their free breakfast is the best I have ever seen: yogurts, açaí bowls, chia puddings, fresh pastry, fresh juices, coffee machine, smoothies, cold cuts. Absolutely incredible!!! We had a standard room for 2 adults and 2 children. While our kids got a good night sleep in two single beds, me and my husband were barely fitting a folding couch bed, the metal frame was sticking into our bodies. I was not able to sleep.

In our room: Carpet had stains. None of the appliances were plugged in. There were unknown hairs on the beds and furnitures. All the chairs were stained. Bathroom shower stall’s molding was coming apart. Because of these issues I spent an hour checking for bed bugs.

Lovely clean and convenient next to the airport. A real shame we booked a family room (travelling with a 2yo and 1yo) and when we asked the reception for a cot they refused to let us have it saying we have booked a family room and there was not room to put a cot in the room. We had to put our baby to sleep on the floor, on a duvet, surrounded by bags to stop her crawling off. The same member of staff also gave us the previous days timings for the shuttle bus, when we queried where the bus was she said laughed saying “oops” but this oversight meant we had to wait 40 mins extra we hadn’t anticipated and it was cutting it closer than we would have liked for the flights when travelling with children. She also told us there was no ramp to get to the family room and directed us up one lift across the whole hotel and down the other side - for us to realise there was a ramp at the steps she had initially directed us to.

This seems more like incompetence from one member of staff but it did significantly impact our stay at an otherwise perfect hotel.

Mostly decent hotel with excellent breakfast

I would not recommend this hotel for the summer because there is no AC and the vent in the room do not provide adequate ventilation so the room is very hot and stuffy unless you want to have the window open and curtains pulled back overnight and be subject to bright sunlight coming in early and airplane noise. The front desk also said there are no fans to address this.

If during cooler months, this would be a good hotel. It is clean, decent beds, with very delicious breakfast buffet. Everyone working there was friendly.

You should also factor in the cost of the shuttle which is very expensive for a 5 minute drive (160 Nok round trip per person) which brings up the cost of the hotel by a lot if more than 1 person staying. Recommend factoring the cost of the shuttle as it might make more sense to stay in Oslo city centre or the Oslo airport hotels that are walkable from the airport once the price of the hotel plus the shuttle fees are combined.

To get the accurate schedule, contact the hotel as the public bus website is not accurate, indicating 15 min interval all day but the schedule is mostly 30 min intervals with peak hours in the morning and late afternoon.

I think addressing the issue of ventilation and bus schedule could bring this rating higher because it overall is a decent hotel for an overnight stay.

Great stay with a toddler

As a couple with an 18 month old toddler we had a great night’s stay before our flight home. The frequent airport shuttle bus makes it a very convenient stop before or after a flight. Our room had a great view of the airport and our little one loved watching the planes land and take off through the window. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of options. We also had a b enjoyable evening meal in the restaurant although 2/3 of the dessert options were not available during our stay.
There is a playroom available with a bouncy castle / slide / ball pit which our little one really enjoyed.

One thing to note is that I requested a cot when booking and was assured that it would be ready for us when we arrived. However, upon arrival I was told that a cot would not be possible in my room type and that I’d have to change rooms and pay a 300NOK charge. This was not mentioned in my prior correspondence with the hotel. However, the receptionist was very kind and helpful in resolving this.

Great hotel. Close to the airport. There are no restaurants around anywhere unless you have a car. Good luck there. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and bar with plenty of choices and a great menu. Breakfast is superb. Shuttle buses run at half hour intervals starting at four. Nice seating area outside to relax and have a drink. Excellent staff.

Rooms are very basic which is fine. No central air for cooling in summer months. If you have the window open you cannot fully close the blinds which brings a lot of light in your room in Summer. Lots of airport noise as it sits right at the end of a runway. Breakfast was good. Airport bus is $16 US for round trip.

I got a room here as it is close to airport for convenience of flying out of Oslo after my meetings, in Middle of the night they gave key to another customer that came in room and woke me up, it took a bit for them to figure out the issue. When I woke up in morning to take a shower and go to airport, their cleaning crew opened the door and came to washroom before finding someone is in shower and leaving room. Extremely disappointed, stay away from this property, very incompetent and rude staff.

The hotel is fine. Good price. Clean, modern rooms. Reception desk staff are not friendly. Not exactly rude (I would describe the one front desk guy as “curt”), but not friendly at all. Restaurant was decent and the cold breakfast available at 4:00 a.m. (hot breakfast available later) had a good selection.
Beware that the “Guest Parking” is not free. I missed this - totally my fault and if I could read Norwegian I probably would not have missed it. I think the hotel could make this more obvious to those who don’t speak or read Norwegian.

I stayed by the airport for my visit to Oslo as hotels there are as much as half the cost of central Oslo. Transportation by bus and train to and from the centre of the city takes a about 35 minutes. The hotel includes breakfast so this is a bonus. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and accommodating.
