This island is beautiful with plenty of beach.We chose this resort because we enjoy snorkelling and we like a la carte dining. When we arrived we were told we couldn't have a la carte dining until our third night as the restaurants were fully booked. There was no comparison eating at the buffet to the a la carte restaurants and although the rooms were fantastic, the snorkelling ok we would not go back as we don't want to end up with buffet food. Some of the management were very selective when talking to guests at their tables which was quite rude.

Constance Halaveli was an amazing resort. From the friendly staff to the spacious overwater bungalow, we could not have asked for a better experience in the Maldives. One of the best resort I have visited atm. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly (lily) . Great staff who knew how to serve the customers. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent(esp Rochelle from Jahazz) . The location of our room was absolutely perfect. Private pool is amazing, very clean and a very good place to relax and chill. The ocean view is SERENE! Million Dollar view in my opinion.

They go out of their way to provide the best service possible. We were particularly impressed by Jhune, Larry and Lily. Spa staff Raquel and Irene.

Above and beyond! After watching countless you tube videos and researching the perfect resort for months we decided on Constance. They could have not exceed our expectations any more! As a well seasoned traveler this was my best trip yet! Foodie paradise and biggest wine selection in the Indian Ocean! The sommelier Mai really knows her stuff! Our stay at the Constance Halaveli was fantastic from start to finish. There were many highlights but to name a few: 1) the staff and service were impeccable. They made you feel welcome at every point during the stay and were very accommodating with changes and requests 2) the overwater villa was amazing, good size and had a nice pool which overlooked perfectly clear ocean waters 3) the bars and restaurants were great, always had space and were willing to accommodate food requests (we were vegetarian).

There were a few staff I wanted to particularly mention:
1) Kersley: all round fantastic human. Would go to all lengths to make sure we were comfortable - give him a promotion.
2) Manish: extremely knowledgeable and friendly sommelier - did a great wine tasting for us in the lagoon while the sunset.
3) Hassan: he jumped in the water to find my girlfriends earing after it fell out of her ear on the boardwalk - he found it!
4) All of the restaurant staff - I won't remember all of their names, but Pierre and his team were top notch and extremely friendly.

If you're sitting on the fence about where to go for your trip and looking at the hundred places to go to in the Maldives (like we were), I highly recommend the Constance Halaveli. They are 10/10!

All I have to say about this place is good.
The only thing was the seaplane, more than 2 hours waiting for them and due to schedule they made us leave 6 hours before our flight out of Maldives. I think the hotel must have more flexibility with the seaplane company.

We researched extensively. Several spreadsheets and reviews of multiple sites. Our experience was the best. Not sure which adjective would summarize our experience the best. But the best. We’ve been to 50+ countries, and as Americans done many all inclusive trips to the Caribbean and Mexico. The Haleveli experience puts them all to shame. The staff was the most friendly and engaging (whereas we’ve didn’t speak to any other guests until our last day). The privacy you have is awesome. You don’t need to leave your beach villa or water bungalow (we did 3+2 nights, respectively-maybe preferred the beach better by a smidge, but both are great experiences). Food was great and didn’t get old. Used the well equipped gym. Snorkeling was good; neophytes would be pleased. Wine list was extensive. Bar cocktails were great (we did all inclusive and would recommend the same if you enjoy the beverages). Oh, did I mention the island was absolutely beautiful? Again been around the world but this was a bit special. And again the staff was great; they knew our name at every turn, they were genuinely interested in us and chatting us up without taking away our precious time. For better or worse, we don’t typically write reviews but in this case felt it was due, to respect the experience. Ohh and the minibar was extensive. Great. Wonderful. JP, Jason, and the South African chef made Our experience so awesome. Wish we could be there now

The Perfect Honeymoon!

We visited the Maldives for our honeymoon, & Halaveli was the 2nd of two resorts we stayed at (and by far the best). This resort is a true 5-star experience - from the food, room (we stayed at the over-water bungalow), ambiance, all the way to the incredible & friendly staff. We enjoyed the spa for a day, & the views from the treatment room were unbeatable.
The food, drink, and wine selection were amazing at all three restaurants, and there are a few sommeliers on the island as well if you're really into wine. It's hard to say enough great things - and definitely no complaints.
We did not make use of the dive center (we did all our diving at our first resort), but know that the Ari atoll offers great diving and Halaveli is in good proximity to most of these great sites. We snorkeled the house reef a few times (one from the beach right up to our room), & while it takes a while to get out there from the beach, there is an abundance of underwater life to see (including tons of reef sharks). One reason we stayed here was the over-water bungalows, which didn't disappoint - immaculate, and very spacious, with an amazing deck. This deck included a plunge pool and stairs leading directly into the ocean. It can be a bit of a walk from the room to the island if you stay far out on the jetty, but you can also take the hotel buggy service (which we did a few times) if you don't feel like making the trek.
Overall this place is magical & helped make our honeymoon that much more perfect!

Superb!!

Constance Halaveli is a dream come true destination. It is what anyone would love to have when in Maldives. Great beach, nice water villas, sea green waters, lots of different fishes, very nice choices of Wines, Cocktails, Mock-tails, Whiskeys and what not in the bar. Large selection of fruits, Salads, breads, juices, dishes, cakes, ice creams etc in the Jahaz Restaurent. My wife & I took a water Vila and had a very amazing experience of it. We are vegetarians, so we had bit of difficulty in getting our choices but the chef and everyone, helped us have what we could have including delicious Thai food, pizzas, pastas etc. Our excursion for Dolphins watching was fun though we we unlucky not to see any Dolphins here. Our snorkel private lessons went great. We saw lots of huge corals and so many different coloured beautiful fishes. All the staff is very courteous and welcoming and made our journey a memorable one. Their lounge at the Male airport is also very good. Our sea plane transfer and journey was properly taken care of. Lots of thanks to all who gave their time in making our stay superb.

Best Family Vacation Vibes

Loved the ambience of this place. Located on an island, this is a perfect spot for relaxation. They have a private yacht trip as well for those who may want to venture out to sea a little. Food here is awesome with absolutely mouth watering aroma. Everything is so calm and peaceful with best class service makes your visit worthwhile. Constance Halaveli was the perfect resort, a true paradise. The villa was big, clean, and up to date. The all inclusive package was well worth it. Three restaurants which all had great service and amazing food. Plenty of activities if you want to part take. Free non motorized water sports we're included. The beach was perfect. Water so clear and beautiful, crisp white sand, just perfection. If that's not enough, the best thing about this hotel was the staff. So attentive and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and happy. Before you could even think of asking for something, they would already be offering their service. I would highly recommend this resort in the Maldives to everyone. 10/10!!!

If you are looking for the perfect place to spend your honeymoon (or any vacation!) look no further than Halaveli. It was absolutely worth the 40+ hr travel from Brazil and even though it is far and remote, everything is absolutely flawless and perfect, the hotel staff go out of their way to make everything easy and super fast so you never have to wait or worry about anything. This hotel is truly heaven on Earth.

Hotel grounds, ammenities, service, food, water activities, spa and everything else you can imagine are absolutely top notch, you are in for a treat of a lifetime at Constance Halaveli.

My wife and I look back at our honeymoon photographs every week and cannot wait to come back to Halaveli to celebrate our anniversary!

Beautiful resort surround crystal clear water lagoon. Excellent service, amazing staff. Very good program at kids club and amazing staff. My daughter fell in love with them.
There are 3 restaraunts opened for dinner. One of it is Jing which is very classy and romantic atmosphere, another restaurant serves very tasty bbq dinner. And third restaurant serves buffet with different type of food everyday. Very delicious breakfast has plenty of variety.
We had such amazing time at this resort, very relaxing. We will definitely come back there again as it’s little paradise on the earth

We chose the Maldives as our honeymoon location and spent a lot of time researching the different Islands. We were determined to get a place with an over the water villa with it's own pool. Constance Halaveli had exactly what we wanted and at a better price than the other resorts we were comparing. It really looked exactly like the pictures online and the staff makes you feel like king and queen. They also ease the seaplane scheduling by doing it for you. Wouldn't have chosen a different place than this for our honeymoon.

Definitely a well run and organised beach resort hideaway/getaway. Able to be as active as we wanted to or do nothing at all and just enjoy the lovely surroundings.
Only wish the non- motorised activities would allow a larger navigable radius as it was very limited . This was not the case for the snorkelling of course!
The food and buffets were suitable for all nationalities and food restrictions. The only theme night which was our least favourite was the the European buffet but that might be because the variety of foods offered as compared to other nights.
The staff , regardless of their duties , were friendly, smiling and helpful. It was a very personalised resort which easily lived up to the high ratings it has received.
We had a wonderful time !!!

Me and my wife went to halaveli for our honeymoon and had the best time ever. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They make you feel so much at home. From the moment we stepped off the plane we were taken care of really well. The food was excellent, house keeping great and the activities were easy to arrange. We especially enjoyed our dinner at Jing restaurant. The beaches are pristine and the overwater villas are spacious, comfortable and quiet luxurious. We would recommend this resort to everyone.

A Dream Come True

This resort offers all of the modern conveniences of any 5 star luxury resort of this type. We found the overall vibe to be fitting of a resort catered to a luxury rest and relaxation property. The staff is outstanding and the hotel goes out of the way to remember details about each guest, right down to lemon's in diet coke and hot green tea served at a certain point during a meal.

I highly encourage any couples to take advantage of one of the many private dinners which the resort offers. We chose to have a private beach dinner and upon arrival, we were absolutely overwhelmed at the set up and ambiance they created on the beach. They even carved out a heart design from the sand in order to add a romantic twist and also keep the crabs away from table area.... A special thank you to Noor who served us during this dinner... he did an absolutely incredible job and it was a pure pleasure to be served by him.

There are so many more things we could say about this fantastic resort but feel we have gone on long enough. We, without a doubt, highly recommend this resort to anyone traveling to the Maldives. There is not a single thing, with the exception of having to leave, that we would change about our stay!!!

Fabulous resort and ideal for relaxing in the sun and enjoying everything the Maldives has to offer.

Staff are amazing, food is brilliant. Golf buggy is the only way to travel! Might get one to go to work in!!

Quite a small island but that's what we wanted.

The water villas are amazing and probably the best we saw in the maldives. Very big room with a very large separate bathroom. Plunge pool, large sun deck and all mod cons inside including in room iMac and free wi fi!

The amazingness of this resort is found in both the big things and the most minute details. The rooms, beach, surroundings, down to the teas the serve is 1st class, understated luxury. Know 100% that the online pictures you see DO lie. In person, everything is infinitely better. Truly. There is zero pretentiousness and the staff is the most welcoming and diverse I've encountered in 50+ countries. They go out of their way for every request, without being intrusive in the least. In fact, they anticipate what you need and do it before you can ask: traveler's utopia. Each of the 3 restaurants have expertly prepared meals, the same for jetlag-induced, 3AM room service requests for seafood risotto.

The rooms are perfection in design and execution. All windows look out over the ocean and your private plunge pool (for the water villas). Try and book away from the beach for more privacy and you can call for golf cart transports if you are too lazy. The spa is a 10. I could go on and on, but rest assured that the resort is worth every penny and effort needed to get there.

Phenomenal and Amazing

We went for our honeymoon and were very impressed!

The staff was delightful, the food was high quality, the island was small, serene, and better than expected.
We went for some peace, quiet, and serenity, and that is what we recieved.

As a world traveller, although vacations can be rather pricey, this resort provided the best balance of very nice upscale accomodations and the ability to be really, really, amazing if your pocketbook can absorb it.

The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are 100% happy.

Das beste Hotel in den Malediven! Zum 4. mal hier und ich freue mich jetzt schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt. Wunderschöne Insel. top Service und das Essen ist ein Traum. Das beste All inklusive Angebot mit einem TOP Buffetrestaurant und 2 weiteren wunderbaren Restaurants.
Der Weinkeller ist ein Traum für jeden Weinliebhaber.

Dieses Ressort bietet einen einzigartigen sehr persönlichen Service der jeden Gast zufrieden stellt.

Wir waren eine Gruppe (8 Zimmer / 15 Personen) und würden bestens bereut.

Das Fest an Weihnachten und Neujahr war perfekt organisiert und übertraff wieder einmal alle Erwartungen.

This was the third time for us staying at this amazing resort. Constance Halaveli offers a consistent exceptional level of service and well maintained resort facilities. What is more, the management is upgrading the resort from time to time always offering new experiences for their returning guest like us. Besides amazing culinary experiences in the individual restaurants, which we believe is very important on a small island, and the outstanding spacious water villas providing great privacy and amazing views over the water and the seaworld a big thank you goes to the staff making our stay such a memorable experience. Each of them try to make you smile every day and show the greatest flexibility for private request never seen before. Special thanks, next to many others, go the Damith, Alan and Ei (our private care takers) and Sameera, Max and Rasheed (committed to exceptional guest experience). These lovely people show greatest dedication to their profession and we are already looking forward to our next visit to this beautiful place.

Second time in Maldives for my wife and I. This time we brought our 15 months old son and this place was EXCEPTIONAL.
The service was close to a 3 star Michelin restaurant. Special thanks to our newly found friends: Rasheed, Sameera, Anna, and Rosh! We felt like family!

We really felt very welcome from the start until the end. The staff is extremely friendly without being pushy. The atmosfere on the island is heavenly. The food is great. The diving is superb, really nice divibg sites not too far off. We were here before and definitely will be back.

Maldives has many different resorts and hotels. Constance Halaveli provides a spirit that brings you heaven. The beauty is for every establishment in the area and Constance knows this. So to be among the bests, it runs for the extra mile, of giving you an outstanding service. From the time you step into the airport, they take care of you. Take you to their lounge, put you in the seaplane, everything is ready when you arrive, the staff is nice and let you aware that they are there for you. Then you get to the bungalow that is comfort and clean. You have there everything you need, and if in case you want more, you can go to their spa or go into an excursion that they provide. It is just unforgettable. There is only one thing you can think when you leave: when I will be back ?
