I will start with the staff, without exception they are all a credit to the Constance brand and are super friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. I will mention a few by name but honestly everyone was amazing. Steffi as we arrived, a really warm welcome.

This was our first time in the Maldives and we were glad we chose the Constance Moofushi hotel. Started from the beginning by greeting at the airport to the end of the stay, every moment is excellent. Every staff member of the hotel team is professional in their job. Because of their warm treatment, our journey was memorable. In addition, the foods and beverages were beyond my expectations and we were very pleased about this. We will be back to this hotel in the future for definitely.

The island is beautiful and lots of good snorkelling spots just off the beach.

Rooms are immaculate, and if your lucky and leave the decking door open you may even get a wee visit from some of the local wildlife!

In short could not recommend this resort highly enough, go and you will not regret it.

A complete winner. Spend the money; it's worth it. Staff is unreal. Beauty is unreal. Honest. It's hot and humid: bring two or three bathing suits, a hat, long sleeve shirts to swim and snorkel in, some good reef shoes and good flip flops, sunglasses and a lot, a lot of high SPF block. Little heaven on earth!

Our stay at Constance Moofushi was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment you get to the Male Airport and transferred to their TMA lounge, you can tell the service is TOP NOTCH and unlike any other place we’ve ever stayed at. The service and the friendliness of the staff is unparalleled. The view from our overwater villa and the house reef attached to the island is amazing with vibrant life all over the place. It was a dream come true. Special shout outs to: Sam/Das, Luthi, Sasha, Areeb, Mary, Joseph, Gerald, Karam, Mode, Indunil, Gandalf, King, Mauro, Huzam, Adil, Indunil, Estrella, Supun, and Zidhu- they made our trip more memorable than we could have imagined. A great team at Constance Moofushi and even though our trek to get to the Maldives was long (23 hours!) it was worth it and we can’t wait ti go back!!!! Thank you to the staff for everything!

The problem with staying at Constance Moofushi is that it makes other vacation locations sub-par.
The Maldives and Constance Moofushi was the ultimate vacation resort. If you want impeccable service, great snorkeling/diving, amazing food, beautiful beaches, and the vacation of a lifetime, the Constance Moofushi is the place for you. From the time we arrived to the island until the minute we left, the staff made my wife and I feel like royalty. We celebrated our 25 year anniversary and this dream vacation location did not disappoint in any way. We will be back Moofushi!!

Perfect stay in Maldives

I spent a lot of time choosing what I thought would be the best place for our Maldives vacation. In the end, I was happy with our choice of Constance Moofushi:

- the island is beautiful, much greener than it looks in the photos. There is one main house reef, a lagoon and a reef drop-off. While there is some bleaching, the reefs are generally in good nick. Great diversity of reef fish, black tipped reef sharks, plus a few turtles on the guided snorkel trips (about 10 mins boat ride)

- the resort is luxurious but unostentatious. I loved being able to walk down the steps of the water villa and straight into the sea, to be immediately surrounded by shoals of fish. It never felt crowded.

- the quality of the food, booze and service in both the main Manta restaurant and beach bar was genuinely excellent. The buffet menu was entirely different each day and we always wanted to try everything.

- I liked the all inclusive plan, which meant that knew what we were spending in advance rather than a nasty surprise at the end.

- all the staff were friendly and very helpful. I never felt pressured for tips or to buy extra excursions.

- the only (minor) improvements would be putting a decent coffee-maker in the rooms (Nescafé is not good enough in a $1k a night hotel) and improving service T the pool (there are no attendants).

All-in-all, thoroughly recommended.

What a wonderful and beautiful place. The fact this resort is a relatively small island makes it feel even more special. The staff were all very helpful and great fun. We had everything we could possibly wish for on this holiday; fantastic food and cocktails (I now have a coco banana addiction), incredible diving, the water villa was perfect, the snorkelling on the island itself was beautiful, the evening entertainment was brilliant - particularly enjoyed the Maldivian dancing night and cocktail making! The beaches, pool.. George the heron! I’m running out of positive adjectives! Everyone we spoke to said this had been their 4th, 5th, 7th time returning to Moofushi. We’re already looking to book again for next year. Special shout out to the Blue Tribe dive instructors - we had great fun with them on numerous diving excursions. They were the cherry on top of the moofushi cake!

Moofushi is a great choice for a good value trip to the Maldives. The resort is about ten years old now and is quite rustic in appearance. There were some noisy groups while we were there but we may have been unlucky. We didn’t find the deck of our water villa very peaceful for many of the days we were there due to the noisy group, a crying toddler next door and a couple having an argument one morning on their deck. It is still good value compared to many other resorts and the staff are very nice. Most of the guests were Chinese, British and South African.

The only bad news was that we stayed only for three nights! Wonderful experience. Fantastic service from ALL staff always with a smile. It has been a memorable few days and we definitely recommend to anyone. We hope to be back and will recommend it to friends. Walking bare footed at all times throughout our stay, also in restaurants and bars, made a difference. Simplicity and class at the same time. Spotless resort with Michelin standard of food. Got a room upgrate without even asking for it and beautiful decor in our senior water villa as we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. 1) Staff is amazing, from restaurants to housekeeping
2) Food is yummy: local catch prepared in a different way every day is super! Desserts are delicious and there’s plenty of choice. There is a good selection of wine in the list and cocktails are great too. One night we had dinner under the stars at Alizee à la carte restaurant and what to say? Magical atmosphere and excellent food.
3) The place is a natural paradise: crystal clear water in every shade of blue and white sand beach; it’s quite and there’s plenty of space for all the guests also if it’s a tiny island.
They really make you feel special. Hope we can come back soon.

My husband and I stayed for 9 days in a Senior Villa in early December. Absolutely recommend this place for couples! The island itself is pristine and as beautiful as it looks in the photos. The service is excellent but not intrusive, and the food and amenities are exceptional, especially considering the remoteness of the island.

Villas - ours was spacious and clean with a large balcony and stairs that took you directly into the water. There is a large glass wall on one side so you can enjoy the view from indoors, and there is sliding door to close it for privacy (and to help keep your room cool!). There's really no need to even go to the beach, since you can walk right out into the water and swim or snorkel. Our villa was on the \"sunrise\" side, which meant no sunset view, but the seafloor on this side was smooth and sandy. On the \"sunset\" side, there is a lot of coral that makes it less comfortable to walk right out of your room into the ocean.

Food/drinks - this resort is truly all inclusive. You could easily have an amazing time here without spending a dime outside of your room rate. The only limitations are that you have to eat during the scheduled mealtimes, which are pretty reasonable, and the minibar in your room is very limited and only refilled once daily. You have to go to one of the bars if you want to drink more than a little. The food itself is excellent, and the dinner buffet has a different theme each night.

The Good: One of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever been to. The food was amazing, we had vegans, vegetarians and omnivores in our group and no one ever felt there were no options, plus the chef will cook for you if you don't like what's available. Amazing wine selection. Our stay was at the senior water villas, absolutely perfect stay. We had a Nespresso machine, they would refill the minibar daily. Bunch of movies on demand. And The best was: the staff. They made the difference. We were taken care of like royalty. The airport has a very nice Constance lounge for their guests.

The Bad:
1. Communication prior to arrival can improve. It wasn't until the night before at 11pm in Malé - that we heard about or flight next day to Moofushi (and it was the Malé hotel who informed us). Just FYI, you don't have a choice. You will have to fly with TMA and pay at check out and the hotel will arrange that for you.
2. The \"Free intro dive\" is NOT free. you will be charged the equipment, this and that, taxes, and comes out to be like $150 per person.
3. Don't go on the Whale Shark expedition. Read the online reviews, they all say is a scam and you rarely see them. We knew that, but at the hotel, we were told they see the whale sharks 90% of the time... so we fell for it. Extremely expensive and it's ALL day long. It is a wasted day. Leave around 9am and get back around 5pm. Honestly not worth it.
3. The Maldives taxes are significantly high. be aware.

My sister and I first visited this resort for our 30th birthday 3 years agp - after an amazing experience, we decided we had to return for our birthday this year.

Wonderful customer service from start to finish! We were worried about missing the sea plane to the resort from Male because our flight from Dubai was late. The resort organised the sea plane to wait for us which was a great relief and above and beyond. We waited for a bit in the relaxing lounge while the sea plane was being set up and then we were met by the lovely staff at the resort who welcomed us \"home\" :)

The resort was as beautiful as we remembered and the staff were lovely and accommodating. They made our birthday special with a delicious cake and a birthday song by the waiters (plus many personal greetings by the staff). The food was great too.

The staff at the resort and the airport went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable holiday. In fact we noticed that no other tourists were personally escorted to check in at Male airport by other resort staff which just goes to show the dedication that Constance Moofushi has towards customer service. We absolutely loved our experience at Constance Moofushi! We were received at the Male airport by a staff member and our transfer was smoothly arranged. Constance seaplane transfer lounge is beautiful and comfortable. The seaplane ride was picturesque.on the island resort, we were greeted by staff. Visham was a fantastic welcome/stay coordinater. He arranged everything for us and made sure we were comfortable at all times. It was fantastic to have a point person. We participated in multiple activities. Mauro from the diving center was a fantastic guide. He took us out snorkeling, out on the catamaran sailing, showed us a lot!

Picture perfect island!

The sights are breathtaking. Postcard pictures from every corner of the island. Water villas face sunrise or sunset. We requested sunset and we got it. Everything was beautiful and meals and activities are well orchestrated. Food was delicious. and varied every night. Staff was most helpful and nice. From the moment that we landed in Male and arrived at the Constance Lounge ahead of our sea plane to Moofushi we felt welcome! Our arrival onto the Moofushi jetty was most welcoming & personal - just what we needed after a long journey! We immediately felt like we were in paradise!

Our stay was exceptional with every member of staff making it special in any way possible - nothing was a problem! The customer service was outstanding and it is highly visible that the management team invest in the training and development of their staff and are also open to any feedback.

My wife and I decided to spend the end of our six-month journey in a beautiful beach. We were worried about choosing the right hotel. After traveling for so long our budget did not allow for variances. After researching about the best all-inclusive hotels in the world, we learned about Constance Moofushi in Maldives. It was the right choice.
The hotel staff is the most service oriented we encounter in our journey. The cabanas were not only beautiful but very tidy and had an exceptional bed -we slept deeply and rested fully. The food was fresh, had many options and exceptionally tasty. The beach was the most beautiful beach we stayed on our trip. the yoga instructor and the spa rejuvenated us physically and spiritually.

I honestly do not know where to start - the customer service is incredible and begins long before you step foot on property. The concierge reached out to us months before our trip to share excursions and see what special events or needs we had. Upon arrival you are greeted after an incredibly long trip with a cold cloth and water and the friendliest welcoming committee!

The accommodations are top notch and everything on the property is expertly landscaped and well maintained.

The food - oh my the food - some of the best food I have had at an all-inclusive heck on vacation period. Every day was a different cuisine and multiple options. Lunch and dinner service included sommeliers to assist in pairing a wine with your meal. The wines were from all over the world and were divine.

The people - worth mentioning again - from the front of house staff like Mevin, the masseuse Jum, the chef Supun, and Rifkhan - we were so spoiled and taken care of from the first minute our toes touched sand to the time we hopped on our flight back to reality.

We enjoyed the spa, cooking class, Cinefushi (movie on the beach), moonlight dinner, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking - so much fun!

This trip was a once in a lifetime bucket list trip for us and it far exceeded our expectations!

We have been to Maldives 5 times and feel Moofushi is by far the best resort for us. Outstanding food, outstanding service, outstanding room, beautiful setting, and the transfers are made very enjoyable with their luxurious dedicated lounge. Gets 5 stars from us.

Amazing resort, wonderful honeymoon

We stayed at the over the water villas. The senior villas were all booked. We were skeptical about the all invlusive resort, as we have stayed in all inclusive resorts in the past. This is not your typical resort. When they say 5 stars, they mean 5 stars. We had a few things happen on our stay that was out of the control of the resort, and yet they still made ammends to make up for them. The food was amazing. When I say buffet, I mean...5 star buffet. ALL the food was delecious. All the drinks were spot on. Want some wine for dinner? They bring you a glass and leave the bottle at the table if you wish without even questioning it. The rooms are kept very very clean and the views are amazing. The snorkeling was awesome and I highly recommend the whale shark excursion. We had so much fun, it was thee most relaxing place I have ever been too. The staff were the most respectful and attentive to every detail.

Nice island, very beautiful beach, helpful staff

The resort is located on a beautiful island, which can be reached by a 35 minute seaplane trip. The villas were fully equipped and quiet. It was nice to walk on the sand and leave your flip-flops in the house. Lot of activities, and relaxing possibilities.

If you are looking for almost perfection don't look past Constance Moofushi, this little gem will satisfy the most unreasonable expectations. It's a place full of superlatives: the island, the accommodation, the food and drinks and the friendly and professional staff are second to none. Any subsequent beach holiday will be hard to beat.

Simply Brilliant.

Moofushi had everything from great villas to great food, great drinks, good wine selections and advice and super friendly staff.
The watersports were good, we sailed hobie cats and snorkelled mainly but there were other options.
However the main draw was the wonderful Island itself, the reefs and the amazing staff.

Great food wine and service.Food at the Totem bar and Alizee a la carte particularly good Rooms are large comfy though slightly lacking storage space. Recommend water villa. Spa is great, also gym fantastic. Diving very very good though tended to be a bit repetitive.
Only 2 minor complaints - trips, diving and spa all felt a bit expensive.....but the basic AI price is very good value. Secondly, the snorkelling isn't as good as some other islands - the lagoon is shallow, especially around the water villas and much of the coral is dead in these areas; but there are some good areas, though you may not easily access them from your villa.
Overall though, the experience is hard to beat.

A Little Piece of Heaven

With the exception of a few beach destinations, Constance Moofushi has ruined just about every island vacation I will ever take. Following my stay at Constance Moofushi, I will be comparing every new beach destination to Constance Moofushi; and, I will be disappointed each time since Constance Moofushi set the bar so high that it will be near impossible to reach.

Prior to arriving on the island, I was anticipating check-in problems since I booked through Expedia and encountered numerous problems with my reservation. This was my last time booking any part of a trip through Expedia, but that is another story. I booked round-trip flights to Male, Maldives from Delhi, India on Sri Lankan airlines via Colombo. I have always wanted to visit the Maldives; however, the flights to Male from the United States are crazy expensive. Given my budget, the Maldives needed to be an extension to a longer trip, since airfare to Male from the area is just a couple hundred dollars (versus thousands). I had booked a trip to India and Sri Lanka with my mom and brother, and added the 3-night, 4-day extension to visit the Maldives.

The 45-minute flight from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport in Male to Constance Moofushi was $550 USD per person – more expensive than three round-trip flights from India to the Maldives. Be aware, bed bugs and insects

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel obliged to do so as it's been almost a month and our bodies still itchy, we have seen a doctor at the resort and back home.

We stayed on Water Villa for 4 nights which cost us $1,600+ per night! We woke up the second day with our bodies being red and itchy, you can see the photo here: http://share.pho.to/A1She

We saw a doctor at the resort but there is little she can do at the point, which I belvie some sort of pain killer for me and other medication for my girlfriend as her all body was read and allergic.

The front desk manger apologized and came to us 2 times. Once we were checking out, they offered us a discount of $200 on our last night, I was laughing hard! it's like 15% off our last night! We paid $1,600+ per night! What a 5-star treatment!

I tired to get in touch with the management to see their opinion about that, no response. Then I emailed the General Manger of the resort, his name \"Olivier de Guardia\" and he was like come back again and book with us and I will upgrade your room for free! Oh really, what a five start hospitality here. Come back and pay us more money to get attacked by insects and bed bugs. Then he stopped replying to my email. Hostels might do better response in my opinion.

If I was asked about this resort by a friend, I would say don't waste your time and money, and go somewhere else.

Amazing service and staff

We went for our honeymoon for 6 nights. From the time we stepped foot on to the resort, we were treated extremely well by the staff. Everyone remembered our names, even remembered the wines we had with all of our meals. The resort itself is beautiful. So clean, luxurious and amidst the natural beauty of the ocean. We went in for the water villa. We could step down from our villa and go straight in to the ocean for snorkeling. Recommend getting cinefushi if you are going for a romantic holiday. Food was amazing at the manta restaurant. Everyday there was a different theme but all of it was very authentic and good quality, and numerous options for all tastes. Overall a great experience and will definitely visit again. By far the best holiday that I have ever had.

Great resort. All inclusive luxury.

The best all inclusive in the Maldives. Food is amazing. Setting is breathtaking. Accomodation world class. We have been 3 times and would consider a fourth.

This is a holiday where you think that more than 4 days on a remote Atol might drive you crazy. However there is a good deal to do and the daily routine is guaranteed to making you unwind into a steady and very sustainable stress free trance which could continue for at least a week,

We felt that the repairs being made on this visit detracted a little from the tranquillity and sadly we had a small issue with some equipment in our villa not working. Nothing that really spoilt our trip.

I recommend the night time beach movie deal. Excellent.

It is more expensive than I was initially planning to spend but after staying there for three nights I would say it is money well spent really. It was close to perfect in all aspects - staff is especially well recruited and trained.

The natural setting is good - I stayed in a water villa and there were already many beautiful fishes once I walked down from my room deck. I snorkelled every morning near the vicinity of my room and it was great.

Service standard is high and everything has been well conceived. The staff are happy in their posts and you can feel they have been treated well

Even the free excision is well organised. I did the Sandbank and it was really beautiful.

I loved the food. And the fact that the dinners are themed differently every night. And that the a la carte dinner at the beach is so well organised. The different types of salads are so lovely.

Well done team - I would recommend this hotel strongly to anyone who wish to have a refreshing holiday in Maldives

Moofushi - a \"once in a lifetime\" experience

Simply amazing experience. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. EVERYONE was so helpful and nice. The staff learned your name and made an effort to make your stay perfect. KD arranged most of our special experiences including our romantic dinner on a private sand bank. It isn't cheap but worth every penny. DO THIS at night. Plan ahead for the tides.

stayed for 5 nights at a sunset water villa. Beautiful resort and lots of house reefs to see. it was awesome stepping off the balcony into the water. If you can try to choose a sunset villa because the sunrise villas face the seaplane and can be very loud sometimes.
the staff was very friendly and they had such a great selection of wines that are included in the package. the food was delicious and very flavorful. a very wide range of dessert and they had different types of homemade ice cream and sorbet everyday!
We got the honeymoon spa package ( had to book within two days of arrival to get 50% off ) it was 60 mins massage and 30 mins body scrub. with taxes and service came out to be around $300 for the two of us. it was just okay. light pressure if you like it i guess.. i wouldn't really recommend. it was a little loud hearing the seaplane during our massage.
we went on the dolphin trip which was amazing!!!!! the staff was super friendly because they ended up helping me take pictures. we saw 10 dolphins racing with the boat.
I also booked an discover scuba trip with Alex. highly highly recommend! he was very well knowledgeable and a great instructor. he even made me a video of the experience!
my overall experience at the resort was lovely and would highly recommend!! small island but it was very homie!

The hotel is very good. The beach is breathtaking. The senior villas no all of them are over the water and they advertise there are. The bed is a bit hard. The beach is amazing. The food is excellent. The staff attention is very good and friendly. They should have room service. I know they say they don't but in a hotel full of honymooners. Sometimes you don't want to go out of the room.

I have stayed at Constance Ephelia in Seychelles before and this was the reason I opted again for Constance.
I am disappointed to say the least. The resort itself is in a pristine environment. The following are areas of improvement:
•Availability of pork and seafood (other than fish) items at the buffet are limited.
•Our Room's (No 67) air-conditioning was malfunctioning. Although we requested 3 times to get it sorted.
•Staff need training.
•Build an additional swimming pool for Senior Water Villas.
•There is no in room dining - although advertised as available.
•Senior Water Villas are far from restaurant and swimming pool.
As such I will not recommend this resort to any of my family or friends.

8 days in Heaven run by Angels!

The hardest for any resort is to \"meet\" expectations let alone high expectations, and this trip EXCEEDED our already quite high expectations! Kudos to Team Constance Moofushi for an amazing 8 day stay in absolute paradise, stunning beaches, crystal clear water, great snorkeling, Senior Overwater Villas are worth the splurge for sure even for families w/kids, we wanted and were granted our wishes for a sand landing Villa 53 for our 8 year old daughter, which was perfect (she's a great swimmer). Staff is AMAZING, Hassan and Rifkhan at the Manta Restaurant deserve a special thank you for their hospitality and care. Sakip and Nazim at the Blue Tribe Dive Center managed to put many extra touches on all 3 trips we took. Sakip's name will be put on many of our photos for credit! Alex and Craig at the Dive Center were very informative. Madu our Wine Sommelier at Manta's dining deck is down to earth and knows this stuff! Can't say enough positives about this trip... You are removed from ALL pollution, including motor sports, which we truly appreciated. My 8 year old didn't get bored one minute. We are a pretty well traveled family, and this is the 1st time my expectations were exceeded: been to Hawaii too many times to count, 6-7 islands in the Caribbean, Le Meridien at Bora Bora Tahiti, Mexico, most of Europe, Turkey, Florida to Alaska in the USA, Brazil, Japan, Korea, China, India, and more... Need I say more?

Fantastic Hotel in Paradise

We had an amazing time at Constance Moofushi, the hotel and especially the staff are amazing. You can do as much or as little as you like. We choose the latter. It really is Paradise. We choose to stay in a Water Villa which was amazing and had access straight into the water. We also choose the All Inclusive, which we thought may have been a mistake, however the choice of food was really amazing. Every night was a different \"theme\" so food never got repetitive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who want an amazing holiday.

Spent a week at Constance Moofushi as part of our honeymoon. It was everything we expected and more! From the moment we arrived in Male and were met by the Constance staff, it was perfect. We had a water villa, being able to snorkel directly from your room was just amazing. The reef and variety of sea life was amazing, better than the Great Barrier Reef. Food was fantastic with lots of variety. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. The sommeliers were a stand out, excellent wine knowledge. We went to the spa twice, a little on the expensive side but excellent treatments.

Only let down was the one excursion we went on - the sunset fishing. Staff didnt seem to have any fishing knowledge and just gave us some lines and tuna a bait and let us go for it. No-one caught anything.

Remember to bring your own sun-cream and after sun, the shop on the island is expensive if you forget!

WOW! What a great place.

This place is amazing! It was even better than we expected (and we expected great) with extremely helpful and friendly staff making our stay a memorable one.

The all inclusive package IS all inclusive with cocktails and over 160 bottles of wine included in the package. The hotels 5 Sommeliers are fantastic and were always on hand to suggest a great bottle of wine for lunch or dinner. A particular highlight was the afternoon wine tasting hosted by Sommelier Nash whilst standing in the beautiful water with fish swimming around us enjoying some great wines and cheese.

It is even better than the pictures. We cant wait to go back.

Best all-inclusive over the water

We had an over the water room (not the senior). We started with a sunrise view which had better access to the water and more choral but then we switched to a sunset which was definitely better for the view but the water access had less choral. However it is a very easy swim/snorkel to find some. The rooms and back decks are very private.

Usually I get sick of the food at an all inclusive and given there is nothing else close by, I was worried but the food was excellent with plenty of variety.

Service from all of the staff was great.

The resort is close to great diving spots (multiple spots within 10 minutes). We saw manta rays, sharks, puffer fish and much more.

There was a good mix of families, honeymooners, and while many people we met were first timers like us, we met several people who were on their 2nd, 3rd, and up to 7th visit to this resort!

We have just returned from a wonderful five night stay at Constance Moofushi, Maldives. We really could not fault it, from the quality of the food and drink, the friendliness of the staff and the superb accommodation. It truly was an island paradise. We stayed in an over water villa. Stepping down into the water from our balcony to snorkel in the crystal clear waters was amazing. The corals and marine life were breathtaking. We wish we could have stayed longer. This was not a cheap holiday but we felt it was worth every penny.

No towel at swimming pool. Request made to one hotel staff who just shook his head, and the other attempted to make a call but I waited too long and could only rush back to hotel room before I get a cold.

Made an order of VIRGIN mojoto which failed twice in a row as they contained alcohol.

Relax...

This is my third time to the Maldives. Every time it's a different resort.

This is general across all resorts I stayed in and from people who visited. Service is excellent all over.

Would highly recommend it I f you are looking to disconnect and enjoy time alone with your partner. You wouldn't find a better place
