I have requested several things non of them were answered. I have booked sea view club room.the room was on the 3rd floor it was rather a pool view than sea view , although I recommend a higher floor. Despite informing the hotel it was my bday & I have chosen the hotel out of many options, they ignored my request although my rate included ( extra sea view, club access and breakfast) so at least they could have added a slice of cake from club or breakfast buffet for bday greetings. Small gestures especially in occasions should be considered. However, it didn’t seem a very welcoming hotel. I’m not sure if they really want to attract customers. I’m definitely not coming again. The buffet was from 12 am until 4 am . The appetisers were completely empty by 2 am, soup and the fish plate. I asked the staff to refill all the dishes since I didn’t have anything and many people also were joining l. There were 2 more hours remaining. They constantly were calling for check out however we left our luggage outside the room and waited for assistance for more than half an hour. I have the hotel itself 4 stars as a building, location, cleanses, spa. However, services were totally lacking of hospitality or any 5 star hotel standards.

Staff were generally amazing and went out of their way. One exception was the pool where there was no one and tough to get service. There’s no full length mirror in the room and the room coffee maker was down. But would stay again. good location and good service

Room was clean upon check in. The food choices were very good, whether breakfast or dinner. As a gym enthusiast, the gym had great equipment to facilitate any type of workout I wanted to do and it was very well maintained.. Overall nice and quiet hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Shocked to know this was 5 star as it doesn’t live up to its rating. When I checked in, they seemed indifferent and borderline rude when I had to keep going back repeatedly as my room key wouldn’t work.

The rooms were somewhat dated, amenities not there, they didn’t have enough towel replacements, etc. The hotel felt far from luxurious and what I would expect.

The location was perfect and convenient, walking distance to the pier and nearby cafe.

The cleaning and room service staff were absolutely pleasant, as was the staff helping with luggage. Unfortunately the desk staff could have been better.

The property is undergoing renovations and preparation for the up coming race. Many amenities were closed. The beaches were closed. The staff was great and the room was very well maintained. The cleaning staff really made up for the renovations. The cooking staff did a great job with the meals.

I had very comfortble stay, with a spacious clean comfortable room with great amenities, and I was grateful for the quiet.
Room service was good, with friendly staff. The hotel restaurant looked after me well, with good food.

Terrible experience in Sheration Jeddah

We were put to a old side extension building which only had 3 floors. The room was small and interior finishes were very old. We requested to be located in the main hotel building and said we were happy to pay the price differences but they said the rooms in the main building were fully booked. We tried to talk to the hotel manager but no one wanted to give us the contact information. We complained to the hotel supervisor but the supervisor's attitude was terrible! He said they could refund the money for us to move out! And then we ordered food through room services and were told it would only take 15-20 mins but it took nearly one hour! It was very bad experience for them to treat two female travellers like this! We would never go back there again!

At first I was impressed by my executive suite furniture, overall decoration and facilities, BUT unfortunately we were shocked that the floor is under renovation, the loud noise started at 6:30 AM!!! lasted till evening!! no respect of the residents and no prior knowledge or warning of this. Our suite should not be available for booking as it is unacceptable for any guest to experience this kind of disturbance while on vacation/business! the whole floor should be shut down or at least notify the residents before booking!! Very rude staff as well, slow service and no one knew the basic rules of customer service!

Property is ok, not wow. Service below expectations for a Sheraton named Prperty. Some building floors were under renovation, jack hammers, saws and drills were in action starting 6:30 in the morning, no prior knowledge or warning of this. Very bad experience.

The hotel is undergoing refurbishment, we had a new club room and is was amazing. Fab size and every so comfy beds. The shower was to die for. However the hotel was understaffed, so dinner on our first night was not good, waiting time was very long. The Club Lounge also undergoing refurbishment but not mentioned on the website so services were very limited. Overall our stay was ok. Parking is also an issue and very limited.

It’s good but...

This hotel is good but there is some noise from the sport area in hotel. when I talk to the receptionist about that he told me there’s daily activity for a company in sport area. I ask him why they use ‬microphon?
so if you want to get some sleep at 6 pm you must be ready to this daily situation.

Not Worth the Money

The bathrooms were dirty. The room next to me were smoking and were very loud. I reported to the front desk but they did not do anything. One of the rooms was booked for 2 twin beds but they gave me a king bed and then I requested to change the room but they said nothing is available which is not my fault. My kids were in a separate building for no clear reason.

I am surprised how it is one of the chain of Sheraton hotels.

The reception is bad, often the staff are not in their location, often no one answers the phone calls, all the classic rooms are exterior in poor buildings and without a elevator.

Where do stars come from?

This is a city where it has be ome customary to pay top price for the ordinary. The Sheraton hotel has 4 stars. Facilities are negligible; the restaurant is poor; and the rooms are shabby. It struggles to raise 3 stars. There is one shining star and that is the staff who are bright and positive.

Hard to rate - we were stranded at Jeddah because our flight to Istanbul was cancelled due to snow. So we arrived at about 18:00 and departed by 06:00 the next morning. But, it certainly wasn't value for money and we wouldn't easily stay there again.

If i knew that a regular room (not sea view) was in a completely separate building I wouldnt have chosen this hotel. There was also a lot of construction and I could not even get a good view of the beach anyways and could not walk around on the beach either

Private beach was a miss leading.

The problem that I always face with Sheraton hotels in the Arabian gulf is that they are always old even with some renovation. The price is not worth it. The location is good, it is close to the Red Sea mall and the floating mosque. The pool area is not encouraging at noons. And the hookah place inside the hotel doesn't have some common flavors! I would rather spend my time outside the hotel. The stuff are great.

1st.. The check in was fast and smooth.. Didnt take few minutes..

But.. Not mentioned that standered room is located in other tower than main tower wich gave u feel that u didnt stay at 5 stars hotel..

There was noise from AC.. But take long time to comunicate for solve this issue..

The best thing in this hotel that their bed is extremely comfortable.. And the out side coffee shope and hookah was nice..

This was my third stay, each time the service is consistently good. The hotel is very well located for the airport and away from the chaos of the city centre.
The hotel is in the middle of a 5 year renovation programme. The dated bedrooms in the tower are gradually being updated and they do need it. They're comfortable and spacious, but there's a retro radio with a channel selection dial and a volume control that doesn't work properly in a veneered wooden console beside the bed - welcome to the 1980s! The bathroom too has a peach-coloured suite, all rather showing its age.
Since my last visit, a new reception area has opened as well as a \"tropical garden\" outside, and the old reception is now boarded off while they work on it.
