Will not stay here again. Asked for no maid servicr on 2 day stay, did not receive new towels or maid service but did absolutely have someone go through our room and our things. Used our bathroom and microwave. Very obvious signs of someone being in the room. Items were removed from suitcase but left near it. It doesn't appear that anything was stolen. When reported, got a shrug of shoulders and \"I'll tell the manager in the morning, i guess.\"

Did not have a pet did not go in any hot tub didn’t see a hot tub exercise room was out of order, which was fine with us since we didn’t go there to exercise we went to our room open the door andThe stench was horrible. Smelled like somebody lived in there and did nothing but smoke.
We dropped our things and went to our scheduled event when we came back. I told the kid at the counter about the smell and he said I’ll tell housekeeping which really didn’t help us, but we stayed in the room anyway in the morning. I reiterated my complaint and he said yes, yes no apology. No, can I do something to make things better for you when I got home and emptied our overnight bags everything smelled like stale cigarettes, very disappointed, very upset and the fact that you get a no smoking facility and it stinks obviously won’t be going there ever again.

Unfortunately my family and I had to stay at this hotel for ONE night… I wish I could say something good about our stay but I cannot… the awful smell upon arrival in the lobby is unbearable… It’s negative degrees outside and the room was so freezing we had to crank the heat to high, 85 and the cold air was whistling through the window.. there was dog hair on our “clean” sheets and we don’t have a dog.. thank god we didn’t need to shower or bathe our children because the bathtub was disgusting.. there was a half a roll of toilet paper (clearly used from the last occupant) on the hanging on by a thread holder.. you either get ice cold or scolding hot water in the sink.. I needed to do ONE load of laundry and it was $8!!!!! The coffee downstairs was ice cold and the parking lot is a sheet of ice that doesn’t get treated.
Spend the extra $20-30 and go somewhere else because we definitely will!!!

The hotel could not find our reservation. We ended up having to rebook it with them and then they could only accommodate one night. The hotel was not well kept or clean. The breakfast was minimal, not hot foods only cereal, pre made gas station honey buns and coffee. Would not recommend.

Walked in and it smelt so bad of mold mixed with a very disgusting smell. Can not explain the stench but it was AWFUL. Went to rooms and floor felt like you were going to fall through it. There were several places that the floor was very very soft and felt unsafe to say the least. Mold on ceiling and very dirty. The courtyard was an entire disaster and FILTHY. Very unsafe with dirt, tons of the owners plants EVERYWHERE, grime, and VARMINT TRAPS in the courtyard. Looked more like a junkyard than a courtyard. My two year old grandson wanted to be outside and there was not a safe place to be outside with him due to the courtyard being not only unsafe for an adult but absolutely unsafe for a two year old to play with supervision of course. It was really gross and there were several intoxicated men that approached my daughter and I. We were scared and rushed back inside quickly. Staff was putting out the continental breakfast items around 11:30 pm for the next morning. Wanted yogurt and looked at several and realized they were expired by three weeks along with other food items. We stayed until I could find another hotel. Which we ended up staying at the Bellissimo Grande Foxwoods and it was AMAZING. Staff was so friendly at the Bellissimo and seemed to really enjoy working there. So clean and spotless! Food and drinks were superb. The waterfall in their courtyard just what we needed after all we had been through. Want a AMAZING hotel BELLISSIMO GRANDE FOXWOODS IS A PLACE FOR YOU!

Check in was 3 to 3:30 only. Had to call to get someone at the deask to check in at 3:05. Have to pay a service fee of 2.50 which they charged after we were already paid in full. Room was clean and nice. Breakfast was very basic.. microwave egg, sausage biscuit, waffles, cereal, packaged danish, yogurt, juice.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn while traveling for a funeral locally. The hotel, lobby and rooms are fine, they appear to have newer carpeting in the corridors, nice solid doors, easy parking. But our bathroom door was difficult to close, like the hinges were broken. Our in room phone wasn’t working. But worst of all, in the morning we discovered that the shower didn’t work at all. And I mean absolutely no water came out of the faucet, it just twirled around uselessly, clearly stripped. We had to take sponge baths instead. We let them know at the front desk, but we were checking out so it was too late to do anything about it really. I’m not expecting anything glamorous at a hotel of this type, but I do expect for $200/night to be able to take a shower.

1. The electrical outlets were looked dangerous, cracked with many connections into one port.
2. The bedspread was stained. I took pics and showed it to the main desk clerk, and he said sorry.
3. There was no hot water at night or in the morning. My shower was quick and cold!!!
I complained and there’s clerk said that he couldn’t do anything about it.
4. There were patches in the walls, from repairs that were falling off. There was a spider on the ceiling. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre, with premade breakfast sandwiches, cereal, and some wrapped pastries.
5. I tried to contact the main manager several times, on Sunday, May 4, talked with him once but the connection was terrible. When I tried to talk later, he was unavailable.

Walking in the front entrance had a musty mold smell. When I arrived at my room it had stained sheets and there was hair on the bed. Walls and trim were in poor condition and the hallway had the musty smell as well. When I requested a refund the attendant tried to offer me to switch rooms but at that point I was too disgusted. I left and was able to find a better place to stay. I would have sooner slept in my car than there.

Not what I expected!

Well, were do I begin. The hotel needs a lot of improvements. The rooms was clean but needs to be updated. There were a lot of water stains and the bathroom needed to be renovated professionally. I had an issue with my room and they accommodated me right away. The room they put me in the door was damage and needed to be repaired. I forgot to take a picture. No one should have been assigned that room. The breakfast was ok I have had better. The usual waffles, coffee, yogurt, cereal and premade breakfast sandwiches. The customer service was good. The nice woman that checked us in was lovely. Will I ever stay there again? No!

The Quality Inn is a nice place. The staff are responsive and friendly. Things to take note of if you eat continental breakfast, you will need to request staff to turn the heat on if the space is cold. They typically do not have it or the television on. Folks walking around with their coats or hoodies meanwhile, they return to their rooms.

Plus, my relatives did not have hot water in their rooms. The 2 couples had to be moved because the water was bone cold.

Lastly, the original room that my husband and I stayed in was more like a large hotel room rather than a suite. We were moved due to the malfunctioning jacuzzi; I was so appreciative.

I am sure they are aware of some of the things going on with their facility but looking to cut cost or the facility is not pulling in enough money to make necessary repairs.

Either way, it was an enjoyable stay; these are some of the things to be mindful of.

After the front desk person rudely told me that Expedia had supposedly booked 2 rooms under my name, despite me having a regular confirmation email for one room, she told me I had to contact Expedia because the hotel could be charged fees if there was a mistake in the booking and that she \"couldn't check me in\" until I did. She finally agreed to check us in after going back and forth about the fact that there were no issues on my end and as far as I knew I had a prepaid room already booked--- but she also let us know about a hidden extra fee if you have a dog with you (there was nothing about this when I booked the room). When I saw the state of the room--- dirty, hair in the bathroom, a broken fan in the bathroom with exposed wiring, a horrible smell, and filthy wall to wall carpet --- my family and I decided to just leave and check out immediately and asked for a refund, as we had not stayed there at all. The hotel refused to answer Expedia's calls and 3 days later I found out they refused to refund us at all. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. NEVER STAY HERE

The room size was good. I didn't appreciate how the heat lamp was cut off and I felt like there wasn't enough lighting in the bathroom. The stopper for the bathtub didn't work either. The staff was very friendly so no issues there. I did not look at the pool so I cannot say how that was. They didn't have a store only vending machines which was a disappointment. Definitely having a store with a few snack items helps, especially since a lot of people don't carry cash anymore and you can just charge it to the room. The room was clean but there wasn't an outlet close to the desk. Most hotels I have stayed at have outlets on the desk lamps. I never wake up early enough for the free breakfast. All in all this wasn't a bad place to stay for the price.

Hotel is very dated and worn. Front desk staff seemed inconvenienced that I was trying to check in. The heat in my room had been turned off and was ice cold when I arrived. I was also told that I would have to pay an additional $2.50 per night because I booked on Hotels.com. They fail to realize the room would have been empty those nights if I hadn't found them on Hotels.com. Raise your room price by $2.50 if it means that much to you. Don't nickel and dime me when I check in.

Overall the start of the stay was great, check in was easy and getting everything to our room was great but there was a smell in the room that was making me sick, we had to leave early anyhow but I don’t think I would have made it through the night here anyhow. The carpet felt consistently moist and there was a group of Hispanic speaking individuals who were yelling in Spanish and banging on our door trying to get in. We concluded they were drunk but it still made us feel extremely unsafe. The bathtub also didn’t work, the pullout tab to close the drain felt like it was going to snap off in my hand. The pool was also really really tiny, which isn’t an issue but just in case anyone was wondering. At the start of our stay as well there were people outside banging on our window from the outside. I’ll probably never stay here again but if you need to as a stop to getting somewhere and out of necessity, it’s not the worst place to stay.

A disappointing experience

We arrived to our room and it had an overpowering smell of cigarettes. It was so disgusting that we went to the grocery store and bought disinfectant and fragrant sprays. We also had to buy bug sprays because there was flies and fruit flies flying around. In the morning we realized the handle was broken in the shower/tub so we had no water. They switched us to another room. This room did not have a tobacco smell so it was better however the tub would not fill in this room. I have a back injury and take baths versus showers. All in all I would not come back to this hotel.

Property advertised exercise room but it was filled with construction equipment and could not be used. Also no soap available for washing machines. VERY limited breakfast items and ALWAYS the same every day. Housekeeping service only every 3rd day and we were NOT told this on check on. They did accommodate our request for servce every other day. I did not check to see if this incurred additional charges.
