Charming hotel.

Very central hotel. Secure underground parking (for additional cost). A rather lovely traditional hotel with some lovely art deco elements. Spacious room at the front with balcony overlooking the stunning former market hall. However, this is currently undergoing extensive renovation. Great. It will be really beautiful I think. The building site is well managed. Work doesn't start until 07h45. No annoying reversing warning bleepers on the site vehicles. All good. Except, it was not possible to have the balcony doors open, and an afternoon siesta was marred by the noises from the site. We made our booking many weeks ago. We'd have hoped to be allocated a room away from the front really. We're tolerant people who rarely complain, but we were disappointed. On the positive side it is very easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. Good breakfasts too.

The property is, in fact, quite attractive. I believe it is an old converted bank, and the decor is conservative and nice. However...no one bothered to install any soundproofing at all. Every door that closes in the hallway is perfectly audible inside the room, as is every footfall above you if you happen to be on the first floor. Worse, the air conditioning barely works, and the \"thermostat\" in the room is clearly a placebo. Zamora is hot in the summer, and the room never cooled down to a comfortable sleeping temperature. Not quite as bad: if you're a foreigner, the TV is useless. Every normal TV in Spain, cable or not, has the capacity to change the audio language from dubbed Spanish to the original language. This place has disabled that function, and naturally, no one had any idea how to fix it. This is a 4-star hotel? Seriously?

Best location possible to discover Zamora. The hotel is in great condition and super clean. My only issue was with the bed and pillows (hard bed, very soft pillows). I know it is a mater of preference and I have no doubts if I had contacted the front desk maybe a more firm pillow was a possibility but I didn't. I only stayed one night.

Central staircase is lovely with lovely old windows. Room very noisy. Great salad from cafe delivered to room. Room 312 needs new bed. Good value.

Looked a little disappointing drone the outside but once inside WOW!

Zamora was a fun place to visit.

Pleased with the front desk staff both in the morning and afternoon. Their english was very good and it really helped us enjoy Zamora. When leaving the map on how to get out of town was very useful.
The hotel was very nice inside and looked very upper class with its stairway and stained glass windows. Rooms were neat and clean with very good mattresses.
Things we liked the best of Zamora was the castle with its great views, the bridge, the storks and their very large nests!

Perfect location for me as I did not have personal transport - staff efficient but I would encourage a warmer approach to non-spanish speakers. I am sure I would have seen more (& spent more euros in their community) if I was more warmly informed of local interesting sites and experiences. If more English language is not possible, people working in the tourist industry could encourage local government/councils to make more tourist literature available in english and then ensure their guests have access to it or are guided to information sites - a win/win for everyone.

Me dieron una habitación interior oscura en la planta baja con unas camas de vergüenza. El mueble bar de adorno, vacío, ni un botellín de agua. Me parece increíble que un hotel de 4 estrellas pueda tener habitaciones así. No recomiendo a nadie este hotel si está buscando un 4 estrellas con los servicios y habitaciones que espera encontrar en esa categoría.

Ho prenotato 2 camere per 4 notti per conto di un'azienda: il responsabile e un dipendente. Il dipendente è arrivato prima ed ha chiesto la stanza ma gli è stato negato l'accesso con la pretesa del pagamento anticipato. Ha fatto presente che avrebbe pagato il responsabile al suo arrivo, un paio d'ore dopo, come da prenotazione inviata un mese prima. nulla, addirittura è stato invitato ad aspettare al di fuori della struttura. Ovviamente sconsiglio a chiunque questo hotel per il trattamento ricevuto. Una figuraccia mai vista... non vale una stella!

Bien situado. El hotel se ha quedado un poco viejito, decoración de principios de siglo, mucha madera oscura, que da falta de luminosidad a las habitaciones.
Tuvimos un problema con el manguito de la ducha. Se dio aviso a recepción, no se solucionó. Informamos que inundaba el cuarto de baño, ya que no se mantenía fijo y teníamos que secar el suelo con toallas. Se informó el primer día de estancia (estuvimos dos noches). Personal amable, pero problema sin solucionar.

Buena (no excelente) relación calidad-precio

El hotel está bien en relación calidad-precio. Por el precio, no se puede pedir grandes comodidades y de lujos. Está bien situado con respecto sl centro, a pocos minutos andando y tiene parking. Varios comercios a su alrededor así como el mercado de abastos justo en frente.

La ubicación del hotel, inmejorable. Precioso edificio modernista que necesita algún retoque. Habitación cómoda, todo muy limpio.
Lo peor, la falta de luz natural en la habitación y la tacañería con los productos de aseo. No entendimos la falta de jabón, precisamente en estos tiempos.
La encargada de la limpieza se ocupó de buscar un jarrón para un ramo de flores sin haberlo pedido, algo muy de agradecer.
