Easy to find. Easy to park. Great view of the sea from our balcony. We chose this place as our first stop after a very long drive from Rome where we flew in and rented a car. Short walk from hotel there was a great pizza place and a very nice super market.

A little bit out of town which was good for us because of free parking. The room was quiet and comfortable with a nice view of the ocean. Breakfast was very good.
The hotel was hard to find because of the address given on the web site and the large hotel sign was completely covered with tree branches, so passed it 2 times before finding it.

After a 9 hour ferry crossing and arriving into Messina late at night I was very satisfied with this hotel...The room was clean and had a very comfortable bed. It was also nice to have a balcony.

Bed: Hard flat pillows. Nice Ikea douvet without douvetcover (not hygenic).
Breakfast: Only scrambled eggs, no other eggs (facilities ready for frying eggs/omelette, but nobody there. Same with fresh or-ju). No milk for cereals etc. No bacon either.

Hard to find

Hotel not available on nav but eventually rolled up to the place [use number 170 as the address]. No restuarant open, no bar, no internet working so a bit of a dissapointment. Room was basic but enough for the stay.

For my purpose (business nearby) this hotel was terrific. My room on the street side was quiet -- light traffic and negligible mechanical noises in the hotel. The staff is very kind, patient with our language barrier, and did me several remarkable favors including a ride from central Messina. Maybe Sicilian hospitality is like that. The neighborhood on the edge of the city is pretty drab, but it does include a couple of modest eating places and being in the center of town instead would have meant an impossible commute every day, and surely noiser too.

The condition and the cleanliness of the HOtel was very good and the staff courteous: however, it is all about \"location!\" Location!\" We arrived by ferry at 11.30 PM after everything had closed down, There was only one taxi operating and because of the distance from the ferry the operator charged us 58 Euro to get there, Not a very good start to the beginning of our stay in the vicinity. We ended up catching Public Transport to return to the Ferry Terminal. The staff were attentive to our needs and the service was generally very good apart from the bad start. Located closer to town would be a more distinct advantage.

Impossible to find! Didnt feel welcome

My wife and I decided to stay here after arriving on the ferry in Sicily. It seemed to be a reasonable hotel looking at reviews etc, but we could not find the place! There is no sign out the front, on the roof there is a Hotel sign impossible to see from the road, and finding the street numbers was also impossible. Spent 2 hours trying to find the hotel and asked numerous locals for directions. Drove up and down the main road, 114, which runs along the whole east coast trying to find the place. Once we arrived, after the restaurant had closed, I did not feel welcome by the gentleman at reception. It was simply here are your keys, bye. Room was reasonable comfortable, hard mattress, and the internet was ok. Breakfast was simple, but ok. I was happy with cereal and I also got a fresh coffee from the barista on duty. I would look at other options before staying here again.

Nearly got Lung Cancer

When we booked in, we weren't asked whether smoking or non/smoking. When we opened the door to the room, the stench of cigarette smoke gave me an instant asthma attack. Awful.
The receptionist changed it, but if the hotel had been full, I could NOT have slept in that stench.
Hotel food expensive at 18€ PP for what it is. Not good quality ingredients, unusual in Italy.
Breakfast poor.

good spot for a base to explore eastern Sicily

The Europa Palace, located in the southern part of Messina, was a good spot to use as a base for exploring the lovely area of southeastern Sicily. The staff was friendly and helpful, and seemed to enjoy struggling with our English as they served us. There is a friendly bar, a convenient restaurant, and the daily breakfast was both convienient and appealing.

Staff were rude and unhelpful. Very dissapointed considering that this was a hotel from the Best Western Chain. The area was not for the tourist. unless you have a car then forget it.
Breakfast was very ordinary. no coffee 45 minurtes after breakfast room opened. Limited help from the staff to get around.

The hotel is nice (though I don't know if its a 4 star hotel), but its several miles outside of Messina, with very little around it. If you have a car, its fine. If you are going to be depending on public transportation, get a hotel closer to town.

Hôtel bruyant et excentré...

Un hôtel de passage à l'entrée de Messine localisé sur une route très bruyante dès 6h du matin et jusqu'à minuit pour les chambres donnant sur la rue et en plus un chien qui aboie le soir sur le terrain d'à côté. Le parking est appréciable et offert. L'hôtel est excentré (6kms du centre).
Accueil sympathique mais pas en français.
Au niveau du restaurant, en fait c'est un simple buffet au prix forfaitaire de 25€. La qualité est médiocre, comme le pdj.

Pas de télévision française.

Purtroppo il giudizio complessivo è negativo sia per la pulizia della camera, sia per la scarsa luminosità della stessa, inoltre la doccia perdeva acqua e la tapparella era rotta per cui sveglia all’alba a causa della luce che entrava. La struttura antiquata e la colazione nonostante fosse continentale era scarna e non è stata rifornita adeguatamente nonostante fossero le 8.30 del mattino. Il personale gentile e disponibile.

Nella prima camera che mi era stata assegnata, c'era una una moquette indecente,sporca e piena di polvere oltre ad un cattivo tanfo.
Ho fatto presente la cosa e chiesto di averne un altra di camera,la ragazza presente in reception, è stata davvero gentile fornendone un altra.
Sicuramente migliore,ma non vedevamo l'ora di andare via,fortunatamente la notte è passata.
Un hotel davvero datato e sporco.
Colazione sufficiente.

\"Europa Palace Hotel\" è un Hotel 4 stelle che si trova a Messina sulla strada statale 114 al km 5,470 – località Pistunina in posizione periferica rispetto al centro città ma vicinissimo all'ingresso della tangeziale quindi avendo a disposizione una vettura si può raggiungere qualsiasi località, altrimenti il centro città è collegato con i mezzi pubblici.
Io ho soggiornato in questo Hotel per 4 notti dal 22/02/2019 al 26/02/2019 in camera matrimoniale abbastanza ampia, confortevole, con climatizzatore, arredata con tutto l’occorrente per un piacevole soggiorno. Letto abbastanza comodo, la pulizia della camera e del bagno veniva fatta giornalmente. La camera aveva a disposizione il frigo bar con 4 bottiglie di acqua 2 naturale 2 gassate al costo di 2 euro a bottiglia. Il Bagno ampio e pulito dotato di doccia, asciuga capelli, saponette,shampoo, bagno schiuma, salviette igieniche, asciugamani pulite e sostituite ogni giorno. L’hotel ha un ampio parcheggio gratuito, la colazione gratuita a buffet è nella media, Wi-Fi gratuito anche in camera. Lo staff sempre gentile e cordiale sia al ceck in che al ceck out. Il mio giudizio su questo Hotel è positivo. Il prezzo pagato per 4 notti comprensivo di tassa di soggiorno e consumo acqua dal frigo bar in camera mi sembra consono (60 euro a notte) ai servizi offerti dall’hotel.

Bello, ma nel complesso troppo caro.

Abbiamo prenotato per una sola notte, eravamo in città per il concerto di Vasco Rossi. Ha il grosso vantaggio di essere molto vicino allo stadio che si raggiunge in circa 20 minuti a piedi. La struttura è relativamente nuova, con parcheggio privato, wifi gratuito e un ottimo buffet a colazione. Tuttavia 180€ a notte a mio avviso non son giustificate, a meno che non sia stato operato un aumento artificioso dei prezzi appositamente per il concerto, cosa che troverei molto triste.

Personale alla reception gentile e disponibile. Stanza molto pulita e confortevole. Arrivati in una stanza di albergo, controllate il telecomando del televisore, solitamente sono unti e sporchi, in questo hotel lo trovate lindo e pulito . Colazione varia ed abbondante. Espresso da macchinetta un po' freddino, da controllare. Consigliato soprattutto per uomini d'affari, o coppie che vogliono soggiornare non proprio al centro di Messina. Parcheggio interno molto comodo. Bravissimo e gentile il ragazzo manutentore accorso per piccolo problema. Molto gradevole il profumo che si respira al quarto piano. In definitiva. Ho soggiornato una sola notte insieme ad i miei colleghi e ho visto poi stanze, c'è una parte alta dell'hotel Totalmente ristrutturata e nuova ma anche la parte che ancora deve essere sistemata non è male. Le camere sono comunque belle e confortevoli. Nei piani alti c'è anche vista mare. Parcheggio Ampio. Davanti c'è un centro commerciale.

Per la seconda volta dopo tanti anni sono tornata in questo albergo, mi sono trovata sempre bene. Ottima colazione , stanza semplice e confortevole, pulizia, parcheggio. Personale gentilissimo. Lo consiglio sempre.
