Great hotel, amazing buffet. The only drawback is that it’s just close enough to the airport that they don’t have a shuttle so you have to walk, which in cold wet weather with a heavy suitcase is a pain. It’s $20 for a taxi the 1/4 mile to the terminal. So transportation is a challenge!

My room had no coffee, no coffee on my floor either

items in my room were broken and I told the management as soon as i entered the room, they told me they would fix all the issues after I left the hotel and checked out

I tried to buy a coke with cash and they would not allow me to buy it because the Sewdish - Norway exchange rate was so bad…I really wanted that coke and the hotel takes cash…so dissapointed

Hotel was good; included breakfast was excellent. Room was very warm at night even with window open; there is no a/c so when it is warm outside it is even warmer in your room. This is likely not a factor in winter months. You get noise from planes taking off at the airport, trains passing by and the multiple roads that surround it.

I stay rather frequently at Scandic Hell. It is my preferred hotel when I have either early morning flights out of Trondheim, or my flights arrive late in Trondheim. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and set up if I have additional guests staying with me. The restaurant is great, and the breakfast buffet is even better. I’m never disappointed when I stay here.

Very nice room, bed was comfy, great shower pressure and temperature, convenient free parking. It was a great central location to do things both in Trondheim and areas to the North. Close to the airport and you don't hear the planes at all. Great breakfast buffet that is included in price and their dinner was pretty good, but not included. All in all, i would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great alternative to Trondheim for a road trip.

We had a room in full sun that was like a sauna as not many hotels on Norway have ac. We were moved very efficiently by reception to a lovely inside room that was spacious and cooler. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant, the starters are huge and was plenty, then the most amazing breakfast for Norway’s national holiday. The buffet was vast. This is a perfect hotel for the airport or road trip and is better than staying in Trondheim.

Simply a really, really good hotel for the price!

Excellent service, reception well staffed 24/7. Very comfortable beds and pillows (and I'm a harsh critic on that point...). Lots of free parking just outside. Good standard of breakfast with big selection.

A lot of value for the price at this place. Everything just worked smoothly- as you want when travelling with small kids...

Excellent hotel and only a 5 minute walk from the airport so don't get a taxi. The hotel is modern and very clean with superb convention facilities. The food is amazing with so much choice you will not leave hungry. Will definitely stay again.

L’hôtel est très bien (lit, petit déjeuner) mais il manque vraiment une navette Aéroport.
En effet, il faut marcher 10 minutes avec les bagages dans le froid de plus après 22 heures, il faut faire le tour de l’hôtel car la seconde entrée est fermée. Après une journée de voyage on a qu’une envie, c’est de se coucher

Frokost er veldig bra.Dusj er svak i 6 etasje.Det må varsles på forhånd om at selv om du har betalt opphold tidligere kreves det i resepsjon fysisk bankkort som forsikring? Det hjelper ikke å kjøpe frokost og sjekke inn med digital kort.Det utløser unødige problemer til folk som ikke har bankkort i lomma.

Frokosten der er sikkert den beste av alle hoteller i Norge. Jeg har bodd på dette hoteller x antall ganger i forbindelse med kursvirksomhet, men også i privat øyemed. Siste gang skulle jeg dra klokka 07,00. Jeg benyttet da frokosten som ble servert fra klokka 04.00. Denne frokosten var selvsagt ikke så imponerende, men den var et flott tilbud til tidlig reisende. Anbefaler hotellet på det sterkeste.
