Breakfast was horrible. Cutlery was very dirty. Food choices very limited and the fruit smells very bad (we left all uneaten). Room was clean. We paid for a sea view room at higher price but actually it was facing a garden with very little seaview.

Ok hotel located on the “highway” between Trondheim and the airport. We had a stop there on our road from south Norway to north Norway, so we were not expected much from this hotel, as we were looking for a clean room with private bathroom and breakfast. The hotel does tick those boxes, it does the job. Our room was a bit dark though as it was facing a wall of another part of the hotel but some rooms are facing the fjord our other pets of the surrending areas. Breakfast was ok.

It’s a hot summer and room had no fan for cooling down. It was secure to sleep with open windows as our room was on the ground floor and near where trucks were parked and drivers resting in their trucks.

Good place to stay near Trondheim. It has a nice view of the water and it's near the highway (part of it is over it but only the conference area so you can't hear it). Breakfast was good.

I upgraded to sea view, but got a room overlooking the E6. The room only had one duvet and there was no soap in the soap dispenser in the shower. Plain and ok hotel, breakfast was simple but nice.

Much better than expected for a hotel next to the highway. The traffic sound was not a problem. We wanted something between the airport and the town with free parking, with included breakfast and easy access. Stayed just two nights this trip. The staff were very helpful. We have booked again for our next trip.

Service was awesome. I had many questions because I am an overseas traveler. Each of my questions was answered very genuinely and everyone went the extra mile to give me information. I also needed my laundry done and they did it no problem even though it was very late. The complimentary breakfast was delicious!! Great view of the sunset. As long as you don't mind being out of the city I would recommend this hotel.

Easy to find as it straddles the motorway and is located in a service station. So it's good for a travelling stopover. Was pleased to find that an evening meal was included in the price, and waffles available all evening. Breakfast very good and great view from the restaurant.

Nice hotel. Caught us by surprise. Its built literally over the highway like an Oasis in Chicago. Despite that, it was a very nice, very quiet, reasonably priced hotel with great access. The dinner buffet was very good, the staff very nice and the comfort of the room was very good. Did not have luggage carts or valet service. Plenty of good parking and absolutely spectacular view of the fjord fro many of the rooms and dining area. Good elevator service and wireless, with good supply of electrical outlets. Could use some updating in the decor, but still an excellent value.

Stav hotel har en flott beliggenhet med nydelig utsikt over Trondheimsfjorden. Fantastisk hyggelig resepsjonist som tok oss i mot og alltid et smil hver gang vi gikk forbi.

Het hotel was voor ons een tussenstop naar het Noorden van Noorwegen. We waren met 4 vrienden, op weg naar een visvakantie. Voor ons was dit een prima hotel! Het gebouw en inrichting was wat veroudert. Maar dit staat niet in verhouding tot de rest. Bediening was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Denken niet vanuit regels maar vanuit oplossingen.Het wss overal schoon. Maar vooral het ontbijt verdient een groot compliment! Erg uitgebreid, lekker en wordt peima aangevuld! Wij komen zeker terug.

Het hotel ligt direct aan de snelweg en een truckstop. Hierdoor heb je de hele nacht geluid overlast van vrachtwagens en de snelweg. De kamer was niet schoon. De staat van het hotel was oud en versleten. Dit wordt ook door het personeel gezegd. Het ontbijt was zeer karig. Kortom zeer slecht hotel voor het geld wat ik ervoor heb betaald.

We have stayed at Stav many times, has been OK, and very convenient being on E6 as we visit by car. This time: Staff was not \"joyful\", quite the opposite. The room (#101) was cold on arrival, the view non-existent as the only window was against a concrete-wall, the elevator make a lot of \"weird\" noises which made us uncomfortable, and it was obvious that the whole Hotel was in need of upgrading and upkeeping.

Viktig for meg var at det var innenfor en økonomisk akseptabel ramme for meg som pensjonist. Dessuten at det var gratis parkering. All betjening var svært imøtekommende og hjelpsomme. Det eneste som skjedde som skremte meg, var at brannalarmen gikk kl 06:15 den 3. natten ( av 4 netter ) - og at jeg ikke ble orientert om hvorfor før jeg spurte i resepsjonen v/frokost. Greit hotell med praktisk beliggenhet. Gode senger, bra mørkleggingsgardiner, doble vinduer som skjermet mot støy utenfra, høyt under taket (stort, luftig rom). Noe slitasje og var litt preget av alder på bygningen. Bra renhold, veldig god service og greit utvalg til frokost. Hadde et bra opphold og sto til forventingene, prisen tatt i betraktning.

Da es schwierig war, eine relativ günstige Übernachtung inkl. Parken in Trondheim zu finden, sind wir 20 km weiter gefahren und fanden dieses tolle Best Western-Hotel in Malwik.

Ser det er flere negative omtaler her, men lite - om noe - av det stemte.
Varmekablene på badet funket, det var rent og pent, frokosten var ok, personlig savnet jeg speilegg, men det var røkelaks og eggerøre og pølser, og selvsagt brød, smør, melk, juice, masse av pålegg..

Rommet var allerede i bruk
Rommet vårt var allerede i bruk i mitt navn. Noen hadde sjekket inn kl 1300 på formiddagen. Vi kpm ved midnatt, slitne etter lang kjøretur. Etter å ha bliyt henvist til okkupert rom, fikk vi til dlutt et annet rom. Dette var iskaldt inkludert iskaldt bad... Det hjalp ikke å sette på bryter, like kaldt på mårran.
Forøvrig var rommet shabby, dårligere senger enn andre rom vi har brukt på dette hotellet... Tydelig et rom som var lite i bruk. Vi hadde betalt ekstra for dobbeltseng.
Vi kommer ikke tilbake hit.

Dårlig renhold x3 og utdatert standard
Har bodd her en gang tidligere, da med hund. Opplevde at renholdet på det rommet var dårlig og antok at det var fordi det var et dyrerom. Nå bodde vi uten hund og hadde to rom. Renholdet på begge disse rommene var dårlig. I tillegg var sluket i dusjen på det ene rommet tett, mens på det andre rommet manglet både oppheng for dusjen og taklys i hovedrommet. Ettersom hotellet ligger slik det gjør var det en del støy fra lastebiler som hadde hviletid utenfor rommene og dermed stod på tomgang med kjøleagregat, dette høres kun om du foretrekker å sove med åpne vinduer på rommet.
Det som var positivt er enkel ankomst og parkering vegg i vegg med hotellet.
