The hotel is a little older then most other Marriotts in China but was still in good condition. The food was very good and there was a live band playing at the bar. The price was very good at under 100 CAD.

Very Nice Hotel.
Very Clean.
Good Rooms/Amenities.
Will stay again.
Didn't like the bar/bar staff. Difficult to communicate with and understand our orders, even when using the English menus provided. Service at the bar was very slow and not attentive.

The hotel was bad even I did not have dinner buffet but still they charged me the dinner room rate I don’t mind paying but I payed after my dinner time but the service and the food in the restaurant was disgusting and I even want to write to Marriott about their staff never want to go the extra mile to help a tired travelling guest...

Not a good hotel for sightseeing.

Hotel too far from town centre, an hour in a taxi. Staff all very efficient but, apart from concierge staff, not very friendly. Had a meal in the restaurant one evening and wouldn't allow us to put it on our room as not enough on our deposit, had to go to our room to get a card. Had further problems in restaurant when order was not taken properly and they tried to overcharge. Had a very early start to get to the airport so asked them to book a taxi, this arrived on time but then charged us an extortionate rate. Has put us off using Marriott Courtyard.

Finally cool rooms with proper AC!

It appears they finally have figured out how to use their AC properly. I have had many visits to this hotel where the rooms are too warm, and this time there were on the cool side. Make sure to book a club level room so that you can enjoy the included breakfast, hors d’oeuvres, and daily evening happy hour. Hotel is in a decent area, but there is little/nothing to do in the immediate area so plan accordingly.

Executive Level Isn't As Great As Once Was....

This is a great hotel with a great staff which is conveniently located near one of the factories I work with. Very disappointed that they seem to be \"dumbing\" down the food and beverage selection in the Executive Lounge. Both evenings they only had Tsingtao beer available, and it they refused to ice down a few bottles for my friend and I saying \"ice was available to put in it.\" I understand the cultural differences in beer temperature, but when a guest makes a simple request why not just do it?

Other than the issue above, this is great property.

Finally got their AC fixed!!

I have stayed at this hotel no less than 50 nights over the past few years. They use to always have an issue with their AC. This has been corrected and the hotel is much more pleasant to stay in.

There was a marked improvement this trip in the number of fluent English speakers, which is always a treat.

This is the best hotel in Jiading area.

Great Hotel, if you like your room HOT HOT HOT!

Great hotel with good food an amenities. I have stayed at this hotel at least 20 nights over the past few years, but don't think I will be back. No matter what the time of year, the room temperature is always to hot, and doesn't seem adjustable. I have complained to the management repeatedly and never been provided with a truly cool room.

Nice hotel, but the rooms are always too warm!

I have stayed at this hotel no less than a dozen times, and even though it is very well maintained property, with excellent service, I can’t wait for other options to become available!
No matter what time of year it is, the rooms are ALWAYS to warm. The thermostats seem to have little, if any bearing, on what the room temperature actual is. I have complained during every single visit and the manager has put in my notes that the room is to be adjusted to 20C before my arrival. No dice. The rooms are always 22C+, which I personally find very uncomfortable to sleep in.
Other than this seeming small, but insurmountable problem, the hotel is very nice and the staff is great. I just can’t stand to stay at a place where I can’t get a good night’s rest.

Great for Business in Jiading

Entrance to the parking area of the hotel is not the best. It is cramped but then we weren't driving! It seems to be designed more for the drop 'n go with minimal parking. The reason why I am mentioning this is because of the collective reaction on entering. Impressions begin outside and will carry through into the hotel. Staff at reception was good. Rooms were neat and tidy. Didn't particularly enjoy the shower bath combo. The shower door doesn't close completely thus allowing an icy cold breeze to come through. We booked smoking rooms and the one major gripe I had with all the hotels we stayed in was the locked windows. Why? Besides smoking all hotels have 'discovered' a way to save money by controlling how their aircon / heating units work and how much of control you have. The room will get stuffy and dry with the heater running all the time. Breakfast was boring. Now another pet gripe of mine at 'International' hotels... Please have at least one competent English speaking individual. This becomes increasingly frustrating as the days, travelling and traffic takes its toll on you. I only wanted an egg fried in a vegetarian pan. I lost 5 kg waiting for comprehension. Some food stations were moved around. You try to find bread or whatever....grrr... consistency is all I ask for.

Excellent Hotel on Shanghai's north side - near Race Circuit

An excellent hotel for the value. I booked an executive suite (19th floor) and was very pleased with size of room, furnishings and fictures. Service was excellent, Managers at the front desk 24 hours, fluent in English, always ready to assist. Same for concierge. My only complaint was the window exteriors which are very dirty and obviously have never been cleaned since the hotel opened. Dirty enough that I could not take photos of the vista available from the tall windows in the room. Other than that one complaint, the place is new, clean and a great place to stay. Food was excellent oo in the Momo Cafe.

朝食付きのプランで予約しましたが、朝食付きはないと言われました。
エクスペディアの予約表を見せてもうちは朝食付きはやっていないと。しょうがないので、お金を払って朝食を頂き、チェックアウトをするときにお支払いしようとしましたが、インクルードされてますと。。

英語が話せるスタッフの方は少ないです。
コロナ禍以降増えてると思いますが、ルームサービスが24時間と書いてありますが、20:30まででした。

近くにファミリーマートがありそこは助かりました。

第一晚入住隔音不是很好，隔壁房談笑聲音都聽得到，要到很晚才會安靜。另一間房因鬧鐘沒電會發出聲響妨礙到睡眠。服務人員態度不錯。

중국어 전혀 몰라도 편안한 숙박 가능. F1서킷을 가는 경우 관계자들이 많이 숙박하여 호텔 직원이 정확한 위치를 알고 있어 택시 부르기에도 쉬움. 식사 괜찮은편, 주변 소음 없고 편의점과 맥도날드가 걸어서 5분 이내.
