NEVER again!

The hotel is old, below standard. The rooms are decorated 20 years ago, with only the bathroom renovated. The worst part is the mattresses in the beds, which are terrible—soft and worn. Never again!

Everything was ok, just one big minus - you have to pay for parking (40 pln for night). It is not included in the room price.
There are a lot of activities for the children, the water-pool is working from 8:00 till 21:00 and it’s not very crowded.

Don't get fooled by the look of the hotel

4 stars are only for a fun activity.
Reception is a careless and unkind.
We had to wait over one hour for check in even though we get email check in is for 3pm we got room after 4
Rooms are very old worn not so comfy to stay in.
Food just ok, bread not fresh, not to many options

Quite stay with nice view

We appreciated staying at this hotel during our trip in Poland. The staff was ferkelnd, spoke good English and helped us get around. The breakfast is big and there were extremely many people and it was overcrowded. The rooms are spacious and clean. No elevator to the floor which was a bit annoying.

An easy stay

Stayed in 4 nights, the hotel is looking a little dated decor wise but every thing worked and the staff are very nice.
Our bed was super comfortable one of the nicest I've slept in for awhile although the mattress protector had a plastic backing which tended to make my wife and I sweat a little so that could maybe be improved.
The small bathroom had good shower pressure and consistent temperature.
The hallway to our room was a bit musty smelling..
The restaurant food is just Ok nothing standout the Buffett we had one night really was the best option, breakfast was ok but I'd have really liked some bacon.
Parking is secure, there is an excellent gym and swimming pool.
I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for a business trip. The hotel is located in a perfect location but the condition of bathrooms, balconies and cleaning need attention. The ceiling is broken in lobby and walk ways. The food quality is bad, the fins of fish were on the skin. The staff is not friendly at all. Rooms are very small.

Mercure great potential if modernised/refurbished

Definitely not a 4 star hotel, the staff very friendly and kind, however our room needs to be refurbished, carpet heavily stained, tiles on the wall old and need replacement, duvet cover washed out. Air conditioning very much needed, patio needs to be refurbished. During our stay regularly smoke fumes coming from the patio. The reception staff very polite and helpful, also the gentleman working at the bar where the pools and bowling- lovely and kind. Good facilities: bowling 1PLN/1minute, pools-0,50PLN/1minute, very expensive car park 34PLN per day(£7!)got a negotiated discount to 20PLN. Great swimming pool, and excellent areas for kuds. The Hotel placed in a great area, near to the lake, cycle path, number of caffes, also amphitheater.

Misleading...Four Stars? Hardly.

Front desk staff were nice. The room was to put it mildly; stains too numerous to count on the carpet. Grout of shower and bathroom was nearly black. This is by NO means a four start hotel by any measurement, any where in the world.

Recreational activity galore

Great hotel bursting with recreational activities (pool, bowling, mini golf, water slides) and on the shore of a beautiful lake with pedalos and other water sports. Food and drink all very cheap and hotel generally clan and well looked after.

Always a pleasure

I've been going to this hotel with my family for over 20 years, and I always come back with pleasure. The multitude of facilities offered by the hotel, the closeness to the lake and other attractions within close range mean there is always lots to do, but it's also wonderful to relax, enjoy the spa and be lazy at the lakeside. My only remark is that the hotel look is a bit dated.
Other thing - since it's an extremely family friendly hotel, you better be used to the presence of lots of children.

Superior rooms are great, standard one dissappoing

We booked a standard room and were most disappointed to find ourselves in a room without A/C and torn mosquito net in the window, allowing flies to come in. We paid the extra to upgrade and were able to experience a true 4 star experience

Good hotel for area

Hotel was good choice for us. It was close enough to town (about 1.5km) and to Wolf''s Lair (about 30 mins) which we went to see. Rooms were very comfortable. There was no air-conditioning but we have found this at other hotels in the north. The breakfast buffet was the best we had on our entire trip. Staff were a somewhat helpful but there was a language problem. Our only complaint was that they charged 34 zloty a day for parking which is a lot considering this is a remote area.

Better on the Inside Than on the Outside

The Hotel has the look of a Communist era sanitorium and indeed may have been just that. Arrival was complicated by a security guard and a barrier to the car park. She was clearly not expecting us and spoke no English. We eventually were allowed in but this was a service we had booked beforehand and had paid for. Not a good first impression. It is modern inside but incredibly dark. The corrridors are frankly unpleasant to walk along. Our room was comfortable and had the benefit of a balcony and windows on two sides but it was on a floor inaccesible by lift and with heavy suitcases after a long car journey this was not welcome. Our main concern was the restaurant. We were told by reception the times the dining room would be open but when we arrived for a meal it was clear we were neither expected nor welcome and we were kept waiting for some some time before being shown to a table. We then waited some time again before a waiter offered us a buffet being provided for a tour group already in the room. It was clear that any attempt to order anything else would have been unwelcome. Little English was spoken in the hotel and there were no English language programmes available on the T.V.

This hotel is perfect for families - the pool and family facilities are excellent.

I spent two weeks travelling around Poland with my friend - looking to see the sights, sounds and tastes of poland. The hotel is set in the heart of the polish lake district and nearby Wolds Lair - hitlers war time bunker base in the forest. Although you wouldn't know any of this from either the hotel. There are no tours, not information and the staff were totally unhelpful (and for a 4 star hotel) spoke little English. They couldn't even provide information on local transport. The hotel felt like a mini center parc and they clearly weren't interested in anything outside that. A real shame, because everything else about the place was lovely.

Hast Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Leider sind die Zimmer in die Jahre gekommenen.
Wir waren eine Woche da und zurm Frühstück gab es jeden Tag das gleiche. Zum Mittagessen war es jeden zweiten Tag was gleich und teilweise war es lauwarm oder sofern kalt.

Im Wellnessbereich war die Dampfsauna fast ohne Dampf und die letzten 3 Tage kaputt.

Für 4 Sterne Hotel ist da noch Luft nach oben.

Die Damen, die Termine für den Spa vergeben haben, sprachen kein Englisch. Termine wurden doppelt vergeben.
Von den jeweils vier Duschen bei den Umkleidekabinen funktionierte nur jeweils eine Dusche.
Am Whirlpool (Aussenbereich) wuchs viel Unkraut zwischen den Wegplatten.
Für uns war das alles nicht so schlimm, doch konnte man sehen, dass dieses Hotel (bis auf den Empfangsbereich), in die Jahre gekommen war.

Hotel bardzo dobry dla rodzin z dziecmi, jedzenie ok, duzy plac zabaw wewnetrzny, maly ale fajny plac zabaw zewnetrzny + tyrolka, fajny basen z długą zjezdzalnią, maly brodzik. W razie deszczu nie sposob sie nudzic. Pokoje niezbyt duże ale wlasciwie bylismy tam tylko na przebiórke i w nocy. Z minusów - ulokowano nas na 2 piętrze z niedzialajaca winda :/ stan obiektu - niby ok ale widac jego nadgryzienie zębem czasu.

Obiekt pięknie położony, w miarę czysto utrzymany, jednak brakowało wymiany ręczników czy też dołożenie wody w drugim dniu pobytu, jak również zasłania łózek, wyrzucenia śmieci. Ogólnie pozytywnie oceniam ten obiekt jednak widać iż obsługa powinna być na nieco wyższym poziomie - usprawiedliwieniem może być duża ilość gości co niosło za sobą dużą ilość obowiązków.

Встретили Никак. Выдали ключи молча и ничего не объясняли. Русского языка не знают. Типа))) Отель старый, напольное покрытие все стерто чуть ли не до дыр. Бассейн маленький, полный детей вечером, плавать негде. Парные микроскопические. На улице купель тоже маленькая. В номере туалетная комната убрана плохо. Душ сломан, не крепится. Вода еле течет, нет напора. На балконе грязь!!! Не выйти. Короче НЕ СОВЕТУЮ!!!

czy na pewno 4 gwiazdki?

4 gwiazdki to było chyba 30 lat temu. Ogólnie czysto i bardzo miła obsługa, ale obiekt zdominowany przez rodziny z dziećmi. Na wypoczynek i relaks nie ma co liczyć, wszędzie biegają i krzyczą dzieci i trzeba na nie uważać, nawet w spa nie ma ciszy spokoju bo dzieci chlapią się na pontonach w basenach z solanką, biegają i krzyczą przy zapalonym świetle jak na stadionie. Nie polecam wyjazdów biznesowych lub wypoczynkowych. Szkoda, bo miejsce jest super, z pięknym widokiem na jezioro. Obiekt posiada ogromny potencjał a staje się pensjonacikiem dla dzieci. Hotel jest w trakcie remontu, więc jest szansa że pokoje będą też w standardzie 4 gwiazdek, bo w tej chwili widać upływ czasu w łazienkach i na meblach.

Rozpadający się hotel. Chyba przed liftingiem. W recepcji nad wejściem wisi „oko proroka”, co tylko potwierdziło nasze przypuszczenia, że hotel jest obecnie w rękach Turka. Ponoć w niedalekiej przyszłości ma być gruntowna przebudowa. Obecnie to straszna padaczka. Jedynie śniadania ok, choć po filiżanki do kawy trzeba było czekać ok. 20 min. Łazienki niedoczyszczone, kafelki z początku lat 90. Futryny z mdf porozklejane. Na balkonie syf, popiół po petach, itp. Obsługa jak najbardziej ok. Starali się bardzo, ale trochę ich było za mało. Hotel wypełniony na full z uwagi na Piknik Country Mrągowo. Ceny w tym czasie astronomiczne! Jest potencjał. Wrócę tylko po remoncie.

Alles gerade eine große Baustelle , Hotel liegt oben am Berg einige schritte zum See.
Rechnungen stimmen nicht mit abbuchungen überein , viel stres um überhaupt Papier zu bekommen. Hohe Nebenkosten wegen Parken.

soweit alles ok, da derzeit auf den neuen Standard (vorher Mercure-Hotel) umgebaut wird, ist mit, allerdings wenigen, Einschränkungen zu rechnen.
Gemeldete, sicherheitrelevante Mängel (die immer mal auftreten können) sollten umgehend beseitigt werden.

Przyjemne miejsce

Hotel przeszedł odświeżenie i jest już znacznie przyjemniej niż za czasów gdy był w rękach sieci Mercure. Wygodne łóżka, czysto, smaczne śniadania.
Z drugiej strony, system jacuzi nadal nie działa w basenie na zewnątrz i parking nadal kosztuje 34zł za dobę.

Udany pobyt z dziećmi. Hotel przeznaczony dla rodzin z dziećmi. Bardzo miła obsługa. Smaczne i różnorodne posiłki. Mnóstwo atrakcji dla dzieci: sala zabaw, basen, rozbudowany plac zabaw. Hotel zaczyna remont elewacji dzięki czemu będzie o wiele ładniej wyglądać z zewnątrz. Jeden ratownik na dwa baseny oddzielone ścianą to raczej niewystarczający nadzór.

Wyjazd rodzinny w długi weekend

Ogólnie wyjazd na plus i polecam rodzinom z dziećmi w każdym wieku. Hotel nastawiony jest na wyjazdy rodzinne, ale niestety przy pełnym obłożeniu ciężko skorzystać z atrakcji. Pokoje, a zwłaszcza łazienki wymagają odświeżenia. Było dość czysto, choć mojej rocznej córeczce udało się znaleźć kilka okruchów i papierek na wykładzinie pozostawiony przez poprzednich lokatorów. Dużo zależy od miejsca zakwaterowania. Z dwójką małych dzieci zostaliśmy zakwaterowani na samym końcu hotelu i było to odrobinę uciążliwe, gdyż to są już konkretne odległości do pokonania, z dzieckiem na ręku, do restauracji czy lobby.
A z bardziej pozytywnych rzeczy: profesjonalnie wykonany masaż i miła atmosfera w spa, dobre jedzenie w restauracji, bardzo miła obsługa, fajna sala zabaw i place zabaw zewnętrzne.

Hotel godny polecenia, przepyszne śniadania, świetne baseny i atrakcje dla dzieci, super okolica. Mały minusik - niedziałające jacuzzi na zewnątrz, łazienki trochę z tamtej epoki (ale czyste). Mercury w Poznaniu trochę na lepszym poziomie, ale są to drobne niuanse nie mające w zasadzie wpływu na funkcjonowanie w hotelu. Poza tym wszystko super. Wspaniałe SPA.

Generalnie pobyt był bardzo udany. Po 4gwiazdkowym hotelu spodziewałam się jednak pokoi o zupełnie innym, dużo wyższym standardzie. Pokoje ciasne, kiepsko wyposażone i umeblowane. Zdecydowanie przydało by im się odświeżenie i unowocześnienie. Codziennie sprzątanie pokoju polegało na dostawie wody i zabraniu worków ze śmieciami. Pani puka, po czym po 2 sekundach otwiera drzwi bez oczekiwania na reakcję ze strony mieszkańców pokoju- trochę nie bardzo. Jeżeli ktoś ma porównanie z innymi hotelami, ten niestety pod względem pokoi i jakości związanych z nimi usług wypada blado. Generalnie hotel z dużą ilością atrakcji- basen, spa, kręgielnia, stoły do ping-ponga, place zabaw, wewnętrzna sala zabaw, animacje dla dzieci- jak najbardziej na plus. Śniadania dobre, menu restauracyjne obiadowe mało urozmaicone. Panie w recepcji średnio uprzejme. Lokalizacja, bliskość jeziora, widok z tarasu, bliskość sklepów, barów, restauracji- na plus.

Das Hotel ist eher ein Ferienheim, Teller und Besteck waren nicht suaber, das Zimmer hat schon bessere Zeiten gehabt. Für ein Mercure-Hotel haben wir mehr erwatet. Rund ums Hotel wird gebaut, die Terasse ist nur zur Hälfte offen. Spabereich nicht direkt im Hotel. Parkplatz war überbelegt, man fand nur mit viel Mühe einen Parkplatz. Personal nicht sehr freundlich.

Stary orbisowski obiekt wyremontowany i pod szyldem Mercure. Miejsce przede wszystkim dla rodzin z małymi dziećmi - rozbudowana oferta atrakcji dla dzieci, animacji. Standard w pokojach ok, na śniadanie ogromny wybór w ramach bufetu szwedzkiego. Bardzo miły personel. Do tego basen, który czynny był niestety tylko do 21.

Gute Lage direkt am See (5 min zu Fuß den Berg hinunter). Großartige Ausstattung zu Beschäftigung von Kindern. Service etwas harsch, aber okay.

Miła obsługa, ale hotel to maksymalnie 3*

Hotel z zewnątrz bardziej przypomina ośrodek wczasowy - kemping niż hotel, nie mówiąc już o 4 gwiazdkach. Są tu co prawda takie atrakcje jak basen, spa czy kręgielnia, ale pokoje to maksymalnie 3 gwiazdki. Za czajnik, szlafrok lub klimatyzację trzeba dopłacić. Restauracja a'la carte serwuje smaczne dania. Duży plus dla większości obsługi za miłą atmosferę.

Отдых в меркурии

Все очень неплохо,отель староват,требует небольшого ремонта,но это компенсируется шикарными завтраками))).В бассейне работали не все гидромассажные приспособления.Но в общем и целом нам понравилось.Нет кондиционера,летом может быть проблема.При выезде из отеля оказалось,что парковка была платной!!!При бронировании об этом ни слова.Неприятный \"сюрприз\".И ещё с нас взяли \"климатический сбор\",о котором так же услышали первый раз.Для отеля такого уровня-по меньшей мере странно.

В целом отель очень удобен для отдыха, тихо, замечательный воздух и променад вокруг озера.

Pobyt w hotelu Mercure Mrongovia

Pobyt był bardzo udany, mam tylko dwa zastrzeżenia : - w kabinie prysznicowej powinna być mata antypoślizgowa - bardzo łatwo jest się poślizgnąć! Brak mi także było solarium.
