This hotel is so wonderful! The neighborhood is so charming, our room was very clean and comfortable, and it’s right next to Kensington Gardens! We extended our stay by a night and the staff was so helpful in getting us booked! We would definitely stay here again :)

Room was perfectly clean, amenities were the bare minimum. Room was fine with working AC. We paid less and had a window-less room which meant it was in the basement and we also had absolutely no phone service and the WiFi was really terrible. Windowless was fine, it was what we paid for. But no phone service and really terrible WiFi is crazy in 2026. On the first morning we also woke up to absolutely no power, went to reception and they were no surprised and the power had tripped.

The property is currently undergoing a massive renovation. I got upgraded & the renovated rooms are clean, cozy & beautiful. Amenities were nice & luxurious. But there was only ONE tiny lift, so a lot of waiting around & no microwave for guest use. I did not try the breakfast.

The location is amazing: very convenient, safe & walkable, close to the tube, buses, trains, lots of eating options nearby.

Huge shout out to Marius at the the front desk, who was beyond professional and helpful.

Highly recommend. Would go back!

The part of the hotel we were put in was a building site. The room was in poor condition cracked and broken tiles in the bathroom. Curtains hanging down from the rail obviously broken. The view from the window was onto scaffolding and tarpaulin. The staff were very good but we were overall very disappointed.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The room carpet in 211 had obvious signs of damage. Bathroom was superb… really very big and clean. Our room was in a basement (which sounds bad) but there was an exquisite lighted wall that filled one whole wall and was designed to give an outdoor feeling (it helped a lot. It was lighted from behind and there was a dimmer switch). We were very comfortable in this room and staff was excellent.

Hotel good although !!! I would have appreciated a email to say that their was work being done to the hotel it looked like building site with scaffolding all around it. And was unable to open windows as these were locked due to the work . So my relaxing Saturday morning was disrupted by workmen drilling and banging very early.

I received an email at 19:39 on 2nd June, the night before my stay, stating that my stay had been cancelled and that my booking would be refunded. I received a follow up email at 3:30am the next day reiterating the last message.

This was clearly extremely inconvenient since I was travelling for work and needed a booking. I then went ahead and booked another hotel since this hotel stated that I would be receiving a full refund.

I have since seen that this hotel messaged me at 17:30 on the day that I was due to be staying to say that the issue had been resolved and they were looking forward to welcoming me for my stay.

Clearly, given all of the mixed messages I received from this hotel, I had already checked into the alternative accommodation that I had had to find so their email was too little, too late.

I have still not received a refund for my unfulfilled stay and I have contacted the hotel about this privately but still not received a response.

The property did its job. We didn’t do much at the hotel other than sleep otherwise the rating would be lower. We had a downstairs room that had no windows, and there was a very strange smell. It was giving one of our guests a headache.

Booked a double room but was given a room with twin beds spoke to reception who told us they had no other rooms available and that we would have to make do.
Only one lift working due to maintenance on the second which I fully understand but the one working lift would go in a random order rather than one direction at a time, one trip in the lift had us go from level 2 to 4 to 6 to 2 to 5 to 1 then eventually ground, not ideal.
Hotel however was clean and ideally located for our visit.

There was no help when I arrived. The staff was all confused and not welcoming given the hotel had lost electricity and they were managing removing people from rooms. As new guests arrived they were not immediately communicating the electrical issues. Guests had to find their own alternative accommodations.

The property is undergoing renovations.However, that does not explain why.My television did not work in my room.And my shower was spraying all over the place. The night staff tried to be helpful, but the day staff really didn't seem to be particularly concerned about these issues at all. Also I arranged for light checkout and still had people knocking on my door multiple times before I left. I expected that if I had an issue, it would be noise from the renovations, but that wasn't an issue. Also, this hotel charges for a lot of things that traditionally hotels have offered as a complimentary part of a stay like holding onto your luggage before and after your stay. I would not stay here again.

We had a recently renovated triple room. It was extremely clean and the 3 single beds were ideal for us. The bathroom was lovely the only downside was no door on the shower so made the rest of the bathroom very wet and slippery when used.
Breakfast had a good choice and reasonably priced at £15 pp.
when I booked didn’t realised there was a lot of building works going on but didn’t hear any noise after 5pm or before 8am - no good if you want a lie in as it was noisy after 8 but fine for us.
We would definitely stay here again.

I traveled to London from the United States excited for my stay at Central Park London, but unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Throughout the stay there were constant issues that seriously impacted comfort and overall quality.

The room keys repeatedly stopped working and had to be reprogrammed multiple times, and only one elevator appeared to be functioning which caused extremely long waits and congestion. Construction and drilling began above my room around 8:57 AM on a Friday morning, making it impossible to rest comfortably.

The worst issue occurred when the heating in my room stopped working in the middle of the night. After calling the front desk twice with no answer, I had to go downstairs myself and was told someone would come fix it shortly. No one ever came, and no alternative heating solution or room change was offered, leaving me to spend the night in an uncomfortably cold room.

To make matters worse, I later found stained bedsheets and small metal shards/debris in the bedding, which was extremely disturbing and raised serious concerns about cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

The windows were also covered by scaffolding with no real view, while outside construction noise and smells made the room even less enjoyable. Overall, the stay felt poorly maintained, poorly managed, and far below expectations.

I cannot recommend this hotel for disabled travellers or those travelling with disabled people. Unfortunately, the hotel misunderstands the laws set out in the Equalities Act of 2010. When pointed out the misunderstanding there was an unfortunate instance with the hotel manager not accepting that he had misunderstood the law. Because of this issue I was forced to find alternative accommodation. I found that the Manager’s inability to accommodate me and his refusal to accept that he had misunderstood the law. It is one of the hotels in that area with a step free entrance for wheelchair guests. As I am concerned about the misunderstanding when the law is very clear. If you are considering staying here as a disabled, I would recommend working with Expedia to make sure you’re going to get access. I did call the previous night to confirm. It didn’t seem to make a difference. I would like to mention that as a guest it is your decision where to stay. When deciding where to stay knowing the difficulties I experienced be taken into account when deciding where to stay.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. However our room was not great. We walked into our original room and immediately walked back out due to an overpowering musty / dank smell. Reception did then allocate us another room, the smell was slightly less however still very noticeable. Toilet seat was cracked, carpet threadbare in places, grouting in the bathroom floor tiles was crumbling. Hotel did have good reviews so other floors may have been better as there is currently renovations work ongoing, but mezzanine floor definitely needs freshening up next.

A very good hotel on a quiet side street round the corner from Bayswater and Queensway Underground stations, lots of restaurants etc. The building was undergoing extensive renovations at the time of my visit but it did not really bother me at all.

The room was tiny (as usual in London) but more than adequate for a short stay, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. Everything worked perfectly well. The cost was very reasonable by London standards, although that may have been due to the hotel charging a reduced rate because of the renovations.

A special thank you to the extremely helpful and kind receptionist - sorry, I didn't get his name - who helped solve the mix-up (which was my fault entirely!) over breakfast.

We stayed at the Central Park hotel for 4 nights in the deluxe newly refurbished room. It was very clean and modern and cleaned everyday by the housekeepers.
However, on the first night we stayed the fire alarm went off at 2:30 in the morning which thankfully was a false alarm but was very inconvenient having to use the lift to get to the ground floor as the stairs were not well sign posted.
The hotel was also being actively refurbished during our stay so you could not have a lay in as you would get woken up at around 9 every morning by extreme drilling sounds. Apart from that, it was a lovely hotel and conveniently close to everything we needed.

The room we stayed in had clearly just been renovated, and that was appreciated. Our beds were comfortable and we were allowed to check in a few hours early for a small fee. Our room was small but about average for that area (and price point) in London.

Only complaint--I'm not sure if the walls in the hotel are paper thin, or many other guests were inconsiderate, or the hotel needs to update the hinges on all doors but we constantly heard doors slamming at all hours. It was a little hard to fall asleep because of that.

Aside from that minor complaint, our one night stay here was fine. Would recommend to fellow travelers.

I chose a refurbed room one grade higher than on my previous visit. Once again, it was wonderfully quiet, warm and clean, while also being noticeably more spacious.
The addition of a fridge and coffee maker make mornings especially enjoyable, and the housekeeping team were, as ever, extremely helpful and attentive. The rooms have been beautifully refurbished, which adds to the overall comfort and appeal of the stay and the staff polite, professional, and attentive at all times, which really enhances the experience. The location is fantastic, with easy access to amenities, restaurants, shops, parks, and transport links. Another fabulous stay, and I’m already looking forward to returning again soon.

Nice hotel! Stayed 4 nights here in a newly refurbished room. Very clean and modern. They are doing construction on a big part of the hotel, so expect noise if you're around during the day time. In a good neighborhood, and lots of transport options within walking distance. Also good food and grocery marts near by. My only complaint is the shower. The bathroom is small, and only half the shower is covered so regardless of if you use the shower head or the handheld thing the entire floor ends up soaked!!

Rude staff on arrival, carried on their day to day tasks before serving. No lift to room which meant a flights of stairs with heavy suitcases. While they are renovating, in order to access our room we had to walk through the building site which was naturally dusty. Room was terrible, nothing like the photos. Black mold in the shower, aircon/heater didn’t work, view of scaffolding making the room dark and could only use the lights to see and the room looked like it was falling apart.

Only pro of this hotel was the location.

The new rooms are basic but of very good standard and comfortable. Great to have a coffee pod machine, hairdryer and slippers. Small but well fitted shower room. Really comfortable bed, the room maintained a good temperature which led to a good sleep.
I have only marked as 3star as hotel is undergoing renovations and the light to the room was blocked by the scaffold and the workers lift was operating outside my window so curtains were kept closed. Only stayed one night with early start so not an issue but a longer stay could be an issue.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and made a point of checking all was ok with my stay on morning of departure.

The location is perfect, just off Hyde Park and is close to several tube stations for easy access to all London attractions. Our stay in the renovated room was satisfactory. The room was clean, semi comfortable and did not smell. While the room is a little snug, one can manage.

The downsides that stood out to us were the following:

The air unit makes a dripping sound in the middle of the night, which can be annoying if you're a light sleeper.

The bathroom does not exhaust well at all, so the steam sweats off the walls and every other surface.

The shower design doesnt keep the water in the shower, instead it runs all over the bathroom floor, soaking every thing in its path.

The bathroom sink is impractical to use, it gets water every where.

The room door requires you to pull the door closed forcefully creating a loud noise.

The bed is not long enough for taller people.

The bed was clean but small for a couple. The duvet is way too warm and doesn't breathe, considering also AC is available. We found a dust-bunny in a corner and there was funky smell from the shower drain when we got in, and even after taking a couple of showers (some bleach in the drain would fix it....).
The room/bathroom is small but otherwise functional and pleasant.
The property is under renovation, so expect noise from 9am or so, till 5pm. And there is only one lift in operation, so there is some wait.
But the rating of 4/5 starts is due to the cleanliness of the room and smell, and the size of the bed, more than anything else.
If the prices are not going to explode, and cleanliness improved, I would return to this property. The location is fantastic and staff are nice.

Everything was amazing - a friendly staff, clean rooms, amenities. Despite the ongoing renovation, the stay at the hotel was very pleasant. There are plenty of shops and lovely pubs in the area, as well as a bus stop and two tube stations.Highly reccommended hotel!
