Been coming many years, prompt checkin, both reception staff excellent, quiet room as requested, upgraded room as bonus, also assisted with lunch despite my late arrival. Room very spaciois, bed and pillows comfy. All meals tasty. 10 minutes by cab from airport.

Stafff at reception was great. I had my jacket ruined gave it for dry clean came back with buttons coloured were gone and a scratch right in front. They don’t have a clue what is dry clean. I also skipped few breakfast n dinner on my last day as I had a stomach problem I wanted some toast , one of the waiter quickly approach me just to tell me that it was chargeable . I probably would have paid but the way it was done ..not professional at all. Rooms was not swipe daily. There were work going on right next to my room. 3 days constantly I rang reception n they stop.

The property in of its self is very nice. You won’t see it being patronized by a lot of foreigners due to the area it’s located. The staff at the hotel makes the stay enjoyable. Also the three square meals per day that can be included in the rate is amazing. Bring your own hand towel and face towels as well as lotions because the hotel doesn’t provide any. I’ll go back and stay there the next time I’m in Kohinoor City

I booked this property for my family visit to Bombay. This place was incredible beyond our expectations. Everything was perfect. My family loved it the most. They provided 3 meal course to them. The ambiance was outstanding. Also, they provided the travel cab for their nearby visits. The manager was the most helpful and kind man there. I will definitely recommend this to everyone.

Requested for 2 full beds and 2 rooms. When I check in , they simply said they do not have 2 full beds in each room. If they do not have it, why did they advertise in first place. We just can not walk out at that night with elder people despite paying thousands of rupees.
They did \"favour\" by giving additional temp bed as free. What an unprofessional way of handling customer service.Food is good and Hotel is clean.

The food they served was totally unhygienic besides the treatment of the staff was so rude and unsafe. Therefore, I would suggest it’s better not to stay in this property as the charges are also highly expensive for this accommodation.

The property was OK. It looked fancy but for the price I think it lacked few important things. The AC was controlled by management. I am used to low temp while sleeping which was highly inconvenient. The washroom and bath were barely separated so while showering the area under toilet was wet and flooded. I would have expected a small bathtub. The tea/coffee was provided but no cutlery so had to use a pen to stir my coffee.

The biggest issue was that the restaurant does not provide room service, so it was difficult to come down in the restaurant every time for any food. Also, the restaurant only serve a buffet. Another issue was that the reception was hesitant to issue two (2) room card keys saying that its the hotel policy to issue only one room card key. I found this bit funny!

Neelesh the chef was on hand to help . One problem is its locationl; time consuminf and tiring taxy commute thru LBS and other approach roads. Should improve efficiency of picking-up overseas guests as they maynot have an indian cell. No one was esiting with my name card...

Great service, buffet breakfast lunch and dinner provided for guests, airport transfers as well as laundry service. The area is not the best in Mumbai and is relatively far away from all the tourist hotspots but the hotel itself is fantastic and great value for money! Thank you to the staff of Kohinoor Elite for making our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Reality is different than pictures

Hotel was looking good from outside but the rooms were not clean. Bed was terrible, room service was ok. Buffet was ok. Tea was terrible. Toiletries were not good. But maybe this is what you get for the amount you pay.
Close to BKC, Phoenix Marketcity and Kurla station so thats a plus.

I could rate 5 star but the price of red wine across the street is 345 and I was charged 1095. water bottel 40 rs but I was charged 200 Rs.
Excellent guest service by the all staff.

Good choice to stay for transit. Only 15-20 mins from/to the airport by car and they provide one-way free airport transfer by your stay plan. And more, they provide free meal service from breakfast to dinner. Mainly Indian local foods but some western foods also available. Hotel facilities and room are quite new & clean. But inconvenient if I stay for sightseeing, because I need to use a taxi to everywhere.

Secure clean and ideal for transit passengers

Kohinoor Hotel is a good choice if you want a no hassle, clean, secure and relatively well equipped hotel close to the airport and in what looked to be a middle class part of the City. A late arrival into Mumbai airport and an early flight out meant Kohinoor hotel was an obvious choice for.
24 hour reception in place with a courtesy shuttle (one way) to the airport. Friendly staff and good clean rooms with a reasonable restaurant which I used for the buffet breakfast.
Hotel was a little busier and nosier than I would have expected as it was hosting a wedding reception/party but not really a problem.
In fact it was rather nice to see a fully decorated horse in the hotel drive ready to take the groom to his marital adventure. I just had to settle for the shuttle car :-).
I would definitely stay in the hotel again if on a short stop to Mumbai and off course recommend to in transit travellers.

The front desk check in clerk was rude. He did not provide answers to our questions. He did not setup the wifi code until hours after check in. The hallways smelled of mold. The grout in the bathroom contained black and red mold.

hotel is good but has terrible shower! we had requested and paid for an extra bed but hotel didn't want to acknowledge it. eventually they said they can only provide a mattress. Ridiculous attitude. They ended up providing a very low quality single mattress and we had to live with it!

Walking distance to Phoenix City Mall, a mall with variety of stores (and good sale/promotions compared to the other high-end Phoenix Mall in Mumbai - recommend not even bother visiting the High Street Mall if you have done the City Mall), and a good place to walk around, relax and eat. The hotel provides bare minimum ameneties but all three meals and up and down complementary shuttle service to the airport. We stayed in at least 6 hotels (3 star or higher) in the past 3 weeks in India and I would rank this one very high in terms of convenience. They could improve the selection of items in the buffet and the quality of toiletries. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel very adequate for our needs

We booked this hotel thru Expedia & wasn't really sure of what to expect. It was a great experience . All the meals were included. They were laid out buffet style with ample choice for both vegetarians & meat eaters! The food was delicious & staff very attentive to our needs. A bonus included in the price was also 4 pieces of laundry done daily! There was an airport shuttle that was extremely convinient. The front desk staff helped us with getting a cab for the day..very helpful.
Very good & will definitely use this hotel again

Great hotel, near Mumbai International Airport

We stayed for two nights at this very good hotel, so that we could get rid of our jet lag before proceeding to Pune. It was the second time we stayed at this hotel. On both occasions we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is a bonus - the food is great.

I have no hesitation recommending The Kohinoor Elite to all who are looking for a 'value for money' hotel in Mumbai.

Wonderful. Enjoyed my stay.

If, like me, hearing the hotel is in Kurla makes you wary...don't worry. It's located right at the entrance of Kohinoor city (one of the many complexes that are springing up all over Mumbai) and is easy to find. Taxis and rickshaws easily available outside. The hotel is spotless, staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is bright, airy and very clean. Three meals and high tea, efficient laundry service and good wifi. Although the large window in my room overlooked the street there was hardly any sound of traffic. The room was quiet, comfortable and very spacious. Have already recommended it to friends and would certainly stay there again.

UNORGANIZED HOTEL WITH PATHETIC FOOD QUALITY

I paid in advance through EXPEDIA & when I was checking out they made me stay at the reception for 1 hour saying that bill is still due despite me showing them the voucher I got from Expedia stating BALANCE DUE AS NIL. After one hour when I realised that by now I already missed my meeting for which I flew from Jaipur I sat in my car & they stopped me at the gate & forcefully took me to reception again & receptionist whose name was SUMEDH handed over pone to me where a lady said SORRY. I can't believe that in today's time how can you afford to be so rude & waste one hour & I missed all my meetings.

Rooms are clean and big. Staff are friendly.

I stayed here only for 6-8 hours to catch my connecting flight from Mumbai airport. It is convenient location near airport, little busy area. Free pickup and drop off to Airport was a perk with 3 time food. We only had breakfast and lunch and that was really good! Overall I would recommend someone this hotel.

We stayed three nights before our departure to USA , it was comfartable stay , quite street that's plus in Mumbai, service was excellent .It is all inclusive and reasonable for a price . Food is not so great , basically same menu for all three days , good restaurant in Phoenix mall which is walking distance from hotel . They also provide free shuttle to airport .

Our start to the hotel was not a very pleasant one as we had pre-ordered a car for pick up and even called int he morning to confirm it was booked. We arrived at 3 in the afternoon to find no one waiting for us. As international travellers, we could not make calls so we borrowed a phone from a very helpful guy. When we called, they asked us to walk to a restaurant and to wait there. Little did we know that it was in another terminal! We had to walk in the scorching heat for 4 to 5 mins trying to find the place. When we got there, someone came within 10 mins and was surprised to find 4 travellers with 4 suitcases! We told him clearly that the hotel was booked for 4 people so it was inevitable there would be 4 suitcases. After about 45 mins, they arranged for 2 local cabs to take us to the hotel. We were so so disappointed, angry and tired. When we got to the hotel, there was no sorry or apologies and it was only after I complained, that the guy at the reception meekly apologised for the mis-communcation. It was a really bad start. The rooms ad everything else were just fine.
The only good thing is they offer all inclusive, i.e breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms were nice but the bathroom was quite small and the bedsheets looked quite old.

Very comfortable stay. All inclusive price very good value for money. Room comfortable and roomy. Food generally good but selection of dishes available for lunch much superior to dinner. Staff in dining room and housekeeping very friendly and personable. However, reception staff much too distracted when should be dealing with customers. Would suggest further training in customer relations required to ensure a pleasant and professional service for future customers.
