Stay was nothing special. Where my concern and complaint is (for both HI and Hotels.com) refers to a request to cx my stay early due to a sudden death of my mother.

I had requested a credit of two days at the hotel and they deferred me to Hotels.com --- Hotels.com 'investigated' and they deferred the decision back to the hotel. ULTIMATLY the answer was NO by both!

VERY unsatisfied customer at this point!

I checked in, but assigned room had an unpleasant smell. Consierge was understanding and gave me another room which was clean and warm. In the morning I had a nice hot shower and went for breakfast at 8am. I believe there were only a few people staying so it's difficult to estimate amount of hot meals to prepare , so consequently little remained after 8am. My breafast was adequate though. All in all I was quite satisfied with my stay.

The staff was excellent. The hotel was clean but the bathroom tub and shower head connection to the wall was chipped and poorly caulked. The door to my room was misaligned so it rubbed on the floor which made a lot of noise and I had to lift up very hard on the door in order to turn the deadbolt. There was misinformation about the cost for using the Electric Vehicle chargers.

Disappointing for a brand name hotel

I stayed here last night while visiting family in the area. I needed a room with air conditioning due to health reasons and booked here in a pinch. My rate was $195.00 and I feel like I got hosed for what I got.

Building: The location itself is good, parking lot in the back is not well lit and I did not feel safe as a solo female traveler. Lobby was ok, I could see visible wear on furnishings and the bench I sat at for breakfast was visibly stained and felt gross.

Room: at first look it was clean, the air conditioning was functional and the room was cool. The bed was fine, sheets were very soft, and I slept fairly well considering I don't sleep well in hotels.

Bathroom: noticeable wear on the furnishings, mirror looked like the mirror surface was peeling, shower was comically small, and there was haphazard repairs on the shower wall. This morning I noticed something on the wall that looked like dried nose juice from a juicy sneeze and that really grossed me out. After seeing that I was like ok I'm outta here.

Staff: front desk yesterday afternoon was incredibly friendly, and the breakfast attendant was also quite personable. Guy at the front desk at check out seemed annoyed that I bothered him to check out and was a bit curt.

Bottom line: I won't stay here again. If I need to stay in the area again I am going to find somewhere else.
