Vintage looking rooms. It’s been a while since I had to handle an actual key to open a room :) AC was old and kinda working. We actually had a VCR in a room. Garden view was more of an interior shaft view - very little actual sunlight. Location is very central and rooms were clean, with recently renovated bathrooms. Hotel bar and cafes were open till late. Front desk offers a parking discount at a nearby garage, which was nice.

From the moment we checked in, we absolutely loved this hotel! The location is amazing, and the parking garage is not far away and the 24 hour rate is cheap for Boston!

The rooms and staff are absolutely amazing! They were much bigger than expected for a boutique hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful as well.

I would definitely stay here again. It’s a cool historic building with real exposed brick, and in a great location. It’s right by the aquarium and hop-on city tours. It’s a 10-minute walk to the North End and Paul Revere’s house. It’s even closer to landmarks like Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. The hotel no longer has a Starbucks in it but there’s a 7-11 right next door if you need quick snacks. I didn’t eat at Joia, the restaurant that is connected to the hotel, but it looked really good and is in the same restaurant family as some other top-rated Italian Boston picks. As an independent hotel, some of the finishing details were different than the chain hotels I usually stay in. But that just made it kind of remind me of independent hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe. Definitely not bad, just different! Overall this is a great little (big!) hotel.

What an outstanding small hotel! The drop off area in front was so convenient! We checked in and our bags were stowed away by kind and professional hotel staff. It enables you to start exploring the city on arrival. A special shout out to the wonderful bartender who made the most delicious espresso martini! We loved our rooom especially looking out of our big windows at the streets of Boston- it was immaculate and the bathroom was completely renovated. We will be back and have recommended it to friends and family. Its a gem in a perfect location!

No coffee maker or hot kettle in room, and no make-up remover wipes in bathroom. Was shocked to be put in the literal basement with no windows in the room. Other than those things, the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

we first got in early coz' we were on a red-eye flight prior. i got this on a flight-hotel-car package but the hotel was nice enough to allow us to leave our baggage so we don't have it lugging around the city. the staff was very helpful from the get-go. i emailed them about parking - since parking in boston is outrageous. they provided me a place where i can have in-out privileges and very close to the hotel (4-5 minute walk) which was a plus. the room was pretty spacious and when i needed extra towels they were able to provide it pretty quickly. i say this is a very nice hotel & situated near the water - you can easily walk to various restaurants, if you like. the hotel has their own restaurant which i wasn't able to go to. maybe next time - i will do my best. i can definitely say that i recommend this hotel on your vacation. A+!!!

We really enjoyed our stay, great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only thing is we got a queen atrium view room but there was not any view except an emergency door across from our window. The room was pretty dark so if we stay there again I would ask for a window that looks outside.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. My daughter has Celiacs. Finding something safe for her to eat is always difficult. We bought some food from Trader Joes, brought it to our room, but needed to warm it up. Since the rooms do not have microwaves, we went to the front desk. The warmed it up and even made sure the take of holders they gave us were safe. The met all our needs with a smile!

We really liked our stay. We had a basement room with no windows which was perfect because it was very quiet. I highly recommend those rooms for light sleepers. My only complaint is the lack of a coffee maker in the room. There’s a small fridge & found it odd that they’d provide that, but no coffee maker. Overall we were very satisfied.

The front desk staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. They gave us some great suggestions on how to move through city using the subway, they even gave us a cheat sheet for lines. Quincy Market and shopping are super close. The room was clean and spacious. Air conditioning worked perfectly. The water pressure in the shower was amazing! The towels were thick and big, they wrapped completely around my body. The hair dryer was perfect to blow dry my hair. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Great hotel near the historical center of Boston and right by a subway stop. We didn't need a car at all. Nice restaurants nearby. Friendly helpful staff. Comfy beds. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated a bit, but the provided toiletries were plenty and the towels were fluffy.

We had a great time here! We arrived early expecting to only leave our bags at the lobby. The front desk ladies were so sweet and asked us if we wanted to check in early as they had one room available! After a long day of traveling, this was very much appreciated. They gave us directions and information on the subway lines available nearby including one directly to the airport.
The location is within walking distance to great food, and activities. We will definitely be staying here again!

Incredibly clean and welcoming staff. We had a City View king room and were quite comfortable. We couldn’t really open our blinds because we were on the first floor and off the main Street. We were concerned about noise but overall it was very quiet. Only time we had annoying noise was when construction was outside our window but that didn’t last long. Would absolutely stay here again. Side note: Make sure and bring/buy coffee next door if you must have it to get out of bed.

I come to Boston regularly to see my doctor and I always stay in Harborside Inn of Boston. Staff there is absolutely exceptional. They are so accommodating whether it comes to arranging a taxi or even early check in. They are very kind and attentive. I also enjoy an Italian restaurant in this hotel. Good service and food.

The location is definitely central central right above the Aquarium Station on the blue line. You’re basically close to anywhere you want to go, be it Boston Commons, Fenway Park, The Freedom Trail etc. There are loads of bars and shops and restaurants around, and you’re so close to the waterfront you can take harbor cruise and get to all seaside restaurants within a short walk. Even the USS Constitution, the oldest American naval vessel at service is only a 15 minutes ferry ride away within 10 minutes walk, and the ferry only cost $3.7, definitely worth going. The property is a bit old, still using keys instead of key cards, but it’s very clean and the interior is updated and nice. Definitely a very comfortable stay within walking distance to anywhere you want to go.

This is a very cute, well placed boutique hotel near the waterfront. They have a very attractive and comfortable lobby. Attached to the hotel is a restaurant which serves a good selection of breakfast items. They also have dinner. The rooms are spacious. The one where we had was a bit dark as we were overlooking the courtyard but overall, it was a very cute place.
