The first room we were given, had a used water bottle from the previous tenent along with hair in the sink, bed, and a dirty toilet. We informed the staff immediately and they moved us to another clean room promptly. The room had lots of nice features, but is missing the capability to allow guests to stream their own Netflix, or other digital media in their own language. I will bring my laptop with a HDMI cable next time to watch digital programs in my native language. The loction of the hotel is right across the train station which also has a taxi stand, making it great rest stop location. The parking garage is very secure and below the hotel, which can be a tight fit for larger vehicles. The breakfast was bland and I did like the self serving coffee machines. Overall, it was a good stay and will book again in the future.

Amazing friendliness and customer service, front desk very accommodating regarding Covid concerns (got a lunch box instead of buffet breakfast).

In the room: very spacious. It would help if A/C and floor heating controls (bathroom) were mounted right side up and if they would actually do their job, i.e. control and change temperature.

Overheated!

Reception was welcoming and efficient and first impressions were good. We had booked a de luxe room which was quiet and looked to the back over roofs of neighbouring buildings. The room was very hot and after repeated attempts to lower the temperature we failed as the thermostat instructions were vague. In fact there was no book of instruction or information about the hotel anywhere to be found. The emergency information was by the door to the room but was almost unreadable because because the light was so poor. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions but we had to sleep with no bedclothes because of the heat. The bathroom was well appointed but at 26 degrees was unhealthily hot. It was impossible not to cause a flood because the shower seal was defective. We reported the heating problem to reception who sent a maintenance man immediately. His only comment was that all the rooms were set at this temperature.
We had occasion to need a doctor but again there was no registered doctor so we spent the morning at the local hospital.
The breakfast was standard fare but we asked for a soft-boiled egg on our third morning and it never came.
All in all this was a disappointing stay and judging by our experience we would not recommend this hotel. We made our feelings felt at reception and did get the car park fee of €36 waived.

Smart hotel close to transport links and the town

This is a very smart, comfortable hotel with very friendly staff, an excellent breakfast, and enormous, very posh bathrooms. The only thing missing were facial tissues normally found in this class of hotel. The train and bus stations are directly opposite the hotel and the town centre starts literally around the corner. The hairdryer, not mentioned in the hotel advertising, is cleverly hidden in a drawer in the bathroom. A bottle of drinking water is provided, renewed when the previous one is empty. We were very impressed with this hotel especially for the price demanded by Expedia.

Amazing Stay!!

This Parkhotel was one of the nicest stays we had during our two week trip to Europe. It’s located right across from tons of public transportation options, or you can park your car in the neighboring garage for about €10/ night. Short trip to Bonn or Cologne with a select offerings in Euskirchen as well.
The service was EXCEPTIONAL. The front desk staff (one young lady in particular) went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We even had a minor fiasco with our passports and she let us check out at 4PM with no additional charge.
The rooms are some of the largest you’ll find in Europe, which is refreshing coming from the luxury of space we have in the USA. The bathrooms have full size tubs and even have American outlets for those of you traveling with limited adapters.
The breakfast offering is extensive and offers something for everyone. From smoked trout to cereal to fresh baked bread, you will leave breakfast more than satisfied.
Apparently this hotel was recently rated 4 stars (has been 5 Stars pervious years) and is being acquired by a new company - so it will no longer be a park hotel.
Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

Initial welcome on arrival was very disappointing. No polite greeting or enquiry about our trip. Simply a desire to charge us additionally €30 a night for provisioning an extra bed for our our 15 year old daughter - who the receptionist suggested would otherwise sleep in the same bed as her parents! We held our ground and refused to pay this charge as she was declared at the time of booking with Hotels.com. It's essential for us that we can trust that the price that we pay Hotels.com is the all-in price and it's distressing when there are subscribing hotel chains that don't seem to want play by these straight forward rules.
This hotel isn't located in the middle of a very busy city like Munich and so it's also disappointing that they choose to charge such high fees (€10 per night) to park your vehicle at the hotel.
No tea/coffee supplied in the room as standard.
Slow WIFI.
Would be helpful if all the account details supplied to Hotels.com was shared with hotel to prevent duplicating the same information again at each check-in.

Wonderful hotel as base camp in the NRW

This is among the best hotels I have ever stayed in, I had a junior suite, and it was a wonderful room, I changed my travel schedule just to stay here. Full hotel services, gourmet restaurant, friendly staff, underground parking, awesome spa. The hotel is quite centrally located in the North Westphalia, and offers easy Autobahn access to most main cities of this German state. Very pleased, saving this as one of my favorite hotels.

Very good place to stay. The have only one problem: the need some maintenance in the rooms: we got the room we booked but it had problems with the shower, they changed it and the mattress was a disaster and they changed again. But they did all the efforts for solve our problems. The breakfast is fantastic ! and the amenities in the room excellent as well. you are 10 mts from the central train station and 100 mts from there is a big free park place.

Weird floorplan, in that rooms were not numbered sequentially. Finally found ours, only to find out the lights did not work. After a trip back to registration,the clerk explained that the key card had to be inserted into a slot inside the room. Hard to find the slot in the dark! Suggest: 1) Clerk inform customer upon registration and 2) light the slot.
Pillows were awful. Room was large and comfortable as well as the bath.

This hotel is outstanding. It is modern, clean, and well appointed. The staff was efficient and friendly. The location is excellent being across the street from the train station as well as having ample on-site parking. The included spa was bright, clean, and very relaxing. Simply wonderfull.

I chose this Hotel for an exhibition in Cologne. Our stay there was fantastic. The rooms are even better than lots of 5 star Hotels I have been in the past. The main Train Station is exactly next to the Hotel (no problem with noise) and allthough we had a rental car we could also use the Train to get there! The only minus to me was that the Breakfast Buffet could have a little more sweet choices as I personaly dont like to have bacon and eggs in the morning. Everything very very clean. Besides the breakfast everything was perfect.

Excellent hotel & service, except for view

This is an excellent hotel with a very good restaurant, city locale, rooms & service. It is expensive considering the view of the bus station and lack of a pool, but the room and staff made up for it. The staff was very helpful & accommodating. We asked for a better room, as the one we were initially given was small. The room we stayed in was wonderful -large, bright with beautiful marble bathroom. The atmosphere is very business like, spa area was very nice, food in restaurant is great but pricey, breakfast buffet was extensive.

Room was great and nicely furnished, great bathroom, good buffet breakfast in the morning, generally very good. Only reason for four stars instead of five is the central air conditioning, which didn't work in our room. This wasn't a big problem, slept comfortably anyway, and would book here again. Convenient location, and double windows kept room very quiet.

Luxurious hotel, impeccable service!

I travel frequently for business and pleasure, and this is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The service was incredible - [...] at the front desk spoke flawless English, German, and French. The junior suite was spotlessly clean, and very luxurious; I don't know what I enjoyed more - the heated marble floor or the huge soaking tub in the bathroom. Beautifully decorated rooms that seemed nearly soundproof, safe garage parking, plenty of closet space, comfortable bed, comfortable working space with free high speed internet, oh and the breakfast buffet? Superb. Didn't get a chance to use the spa, but it looked fabulous. Euskirchen is a lovely town, and the hotel is across the street from the train station, providing access to all the beautiful sights that Germany has to see. Just around the corner is a wonderful shopping area (for walkers) that includes many shops, cafes, and great dining. Everything you need in walking distance, and access to more historical sights and landmarks than one can possibly see in less than 2 weeks.

Wir hatten nach dem Besuch der nahegelegenen Therme Euskirchen eine Nacht im \"Deluxe Doppelzimmer\" mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und ließ, genauso wie das Frühstück keine Wünsche offen.

Das Zimmer war groß und modern. Aber die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Die Temperatur war gefühlt wie in der Sauna. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption gaben unterschiedliche Auskünfte, wie die Klimaanlage einzustellen ist. Aber nichts davon klappte. Kalt duschen ging auch nicht, nur heiß oder warm. Wir haben sehr schlecht geschlafen. Im Fitneßcenter war es ähnlich heiß. Von den Hanteln waren übrigens nur noch die ganz schweren vorhanden. Das Ambiente vor dem Hotel ist auch gewöhnungsbedürftig, da es mehr oder weniger der Bahnhofs-Vorplatz ist.

Super Kurzurlaub, alles so wie man es sich wünscht

Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber des Bahnhofes. Trotzdem hat man nichts davon gehört, win sehrcruhiges Zimmer( Blick auf Innenhof). Es gab einen Aufzug. Tiefgarage sehr gut gesichert mit 2 Schranken und extra Gitter. Viele Parkplätze ( Tiefgarage mit Sparkasse geteilt) es gab auch Abstellmöglichkeiten und Aufladestecker für EBikes . Das Bett war sehr bequem, 2 Kissen pro Person. Grosses Bad mit 2 Waschbeccken. Wir hatten Dusche mit Glastür und extra Badewanne. Die Toilette im Bad separiert mit Glastür.
Leerer Kühlschrank zum privaten Gebrauch. Ausreichen Schubladen und grosser Schrank mit normalen Kleiderbügel. Direkt neben dem Hitel fängt die kleine und saubere Enkaufsmeile an. Stadt mit Gesicht als Moto. Wir waren in der Therme für einen Tag, nur 3 Km enternt. Auf jeden Fall einen Reie wert.

Extremely hot room - not recommended

EXTREMELY HOT ROOM, the air condition didn’t work and we didn’t get ANY sleep. The room was much warmer than the outside temperature (our visit was in July).
We couldn’t have a window open due to noise from bus- and taxi station outside and people drinking at restaurant tables just below (felt like they were inside our room).
Besides the heat the room was fine, breakfast and garage ok

Allerdings war im Mülleimer beim Check-in noch Abfall von der vorherigen Gäste und das Personal machte nicht den freundlichsten Eindruck. Wir hätten uns bei dem Preis eine schönere Begrüßung gewünscht.
Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung.

Heerlijk hotel, luxe kamer met zeer ruime badkamer. Ontbijt erg goed, en ook het restaurant Ambiente serveert heerlijke gerechten.
Betaald parkeren is wat jammer, maar de auto staat veilig in de afgesloten ondergrondse garage.

Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber vom. Bahnhof und ist super auch mit Bus und Bahn zu erreichen. Trotzdem war das Hotel sehr ruhig. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Es wäre toll wenn es einen Wasserkocher für die Zubereitung von Kaffee oder Tee in den Zimmern geben würde, dies hat mir leider gefehlt. Ansonsten war alles echt sehr gut und ich kann dieses Hotel absolut weiter empfehlen.

Hotel war sehr sauber ,super Internet Verbindung,Personal anfangs nicht soo freundlich aber Stress bedingt hinterher dann sehr freundlich! Stadt in der Umgebung war (Samstags) ziemlich lau viele Geschäfte sind geschlossen trotz allem im Zimmer toller Aufenthalt mit Klima waren die 37 grad nicht zu merken bad ist super ausgestattet und das Zimmer stilvoll und gemütlich Frühstück war auch super lecker , hat natürlich alles seinen Preis dennoch geht man gerne hin !

Lage ist sehr gut Stadtcentrum nah. Auch perfekt für Phantasialand Besucher. Ich war noch nie in einem 4 Sterne Hotel, das keine tägliche Reinigung der Zimmer anbietet! die Corona Reglungen haben sich schon geändert, das ist kein Grund die Zimmer nicht zu reinigen!!
sehr basic im vergleich mit dem Preis . kein room service , sehr wenige Personal im Hotel: das Rezeptionspersonal (nur 1 Person) sollte alles machen , die zustellbette reinbringe, und die extra Kissen und Handtücher hochbringen...Frühstück ist gut. Zustell Bett ist sehr klein sogar für Mittelgroße Kinder.
