Close to Phantasialand theme park, quiet location. Food options very limited, room was small and tv had nothing but German channels.

Very simple but nice and clean accommodations, breakfast was very good, snacks and water throughout the day and an evening light meal was available all included, for the price it can’t be beat! The staff was also very friendly! Easy access less than 10 minutes drive if you’re in the area for Phantasialand

Beautiful hotel, which had a huge flood disaster back in 2021, they have done amazingly well to rebuild from.
Only issue is, they have a staffing problem in the evenings at the moment so cant provide a dinner service, they did put on a free snack buffet, but we needed more so drove 3 minutes to the neighbouring town to get some dinner.
Otherwise a great hotel. With a selection of treats and fruit available all day.

Good business class hotel with some minor drawback
Very impressive historic property - former monastery - which has been renovated to high standards. Quiet bedrooms with excellent furnishings, and very good mattresses & bedding provided. Also, bathrooms are excellent.. Breakfast options are plentiful and service for breakfast room is very friendly.
There are some minor drawbacks though: there are no window covers, curtains or shades (at least not in my corner room). This, you cannot \"darken\" the rooms at night. The Internet WIFI signal is somewhat weak.
Also, i got \"stuck\" in the one and only elevator several times, when the lift doors just wouldn't want to close properly. It's also a long way from the parking lot to the hotel rooms. Onsite staff presence is quite limited in the early morning, evening and on weekends - and F&B options are very limited after breakfast (only 'snack buffet\" in the lobby).
Overall I had a nice enough stay, but you need to thoroughly check whether the hotel fits your needs. In general it did that fore and at an acceptable cost rate, too.

Wir hatten ein „altes“ Doppelzimmer und haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt. Insbesondere die Dusche hat einfach keinen sauberen Eindruck hinterlassen. Schwarze Flecken an den Duschwänden und der Teppichboden im Zimmer hat sich unter den Füßen einfach nicht sauber angefühlt. Im Gebäude selbst hat man überall spinnenweben gesehen.
Die Frühstücksauswahl war auch sehr klein.
Das Positive: man konnte sich die ganze Zeit kostenlos Wasser holen.
Aber alles in allem würde ich das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen zu diesem Preis. Einfach überteuert für das was es war.

Sehr liebevoll gestaltet, Snacks und Wasser stehen den Tag über zur Verfügung. Abends gab es ein kleines kostenloses Buffett. Dies war völlig ausreichend. Ein kleines Manko sind die Betten und Kopfkissen. Leider nur Kunststoffkissen und weiche Betten. Ansonsten ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Nous avons passé deux nuits à l'hôtel. Nous recommandons ce lieu. C'était très accueillant et le petit déjeuné était un régal. L'hôtel est proche du parc Phantasialand où nous nous sommes rendu.

Es ist ein riesen Gebäude, früher einmal ein Kloster, nun Hotel. Samt Kirche etc. Das Hotel ist groß, hell, sehr sauber und das Gelände weitläufig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider ist das Restaurant aufgrund Personalmangels geschlossen, allerdings stehen \"überall\" kleine, kostenfreie Snacks herum, Obst, Kuchen, Plätzchen. Es gibt auch ein Kühlschrank mit Getränken - Cola Bier etc kostet. die Flasche Wasser ist for free. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lecker. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der nächste Köln Besuch endet bestimmt hier.

Da wir eine Unterkunft in der Nähe vom Phantasialand gesucht haben, ist uns diese Unterkunft von Freunden empfohlen worden. Diese waren vor 2021 dort. In der Zwischenzeit hat sich einiges getan, wenn auch leider auf Grund des Hochwassers....Als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in der Nähe des Freizeitparks ist diese Unterkunft bestens geeignet. Nettes Personal, bei Bedarf erhält man seinen Schlüssel hinterlegt im Safe. Die Zimmer waren sauber, und an dem kleinen Frühstücksbuffet gibt es nix zu meckern.
Wasser war zu jeder Zeit inklusive, viele weitere Getränke rund um die Uhr gegen Bezahlung erhältlich.
Einziges kleines Manko...in unserem Bad gab es leider keine Ablagemöglichkeit für Duschzeug und Co innerhalb der sehr geräumigen Dusche, und auch Milchglasscheiben oder Vorhänge fehlten leider im Bad. Im DG okay, dennoch gewöhnungsbedürftig, da die Zimmer über eine sehr gute Deckenbeleuchtung verfügen.
