The room was good. But accessing the hotel was quite difficult. At arrival, the doors were locked. I didn’t have access codes and in the app, it appeared as if I did not have a reservation. I stood out in the freezing cold for a while trying to figure out which number to contact. At the end, it all worked out, but not the best experience, certainly not a pleasant one.

Positiv: Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig und man hat Platz. Frühstück war ok aber auch nichts Besonderes.
Negativ: Beim Betreten des Zimmers fiel uns ein ziemlich großes \"Loch\" an der Wand auf, an welcher der Putz sich gelöst hatte, an einer weiteren Stelle war ebenfalls die Wand beschädigt. Eines der Betten hatte ein am Rand verschmutztes Bettlaken, die Decke des Schlafsofas war stärker verschmutzt. Die Dusche war stark verkalkt (leider nicht nur ein paar Ränder) Fugen teilweise schwarz. Noch nicht das Level \"Badeschlappen an\" aber auch nicht weit weg davon. Toilettensitz war verfärbt - alles in allem klar enttäuschend. Geruch im Flur erinnerte an eine Raucherkneipe am Morgen.

Fairly easy to get to Köln city centre 5-10 minute walk to the nearest shuttle and 20 minutes to the centre on the tube.

Inconsistent Treatment at the Palast

This is obviously a hotel aimed at business customers, which is fine. The room was comfortable, though the fittings in the bathroom had not been the best maintained. The receptionist was very helpful when we arrived.
We were disappointed at the first breakfast we booked. I ate a normal breakfast, though never have a hot drink. My wife joined me later and had only a cup of tea. The staff at the hotel insisted that we had consumed two breakfasts and charged €15 each. Our argument that my wife could have had a free cup of the same tea in the room was completely ignored. The member of staff rudely insisted that we paid for two breakfasts. We therefore went to a local bakery for our breakfast the next day, which was cheaper for us and the hotel lost the potential breakfast charge. A shame.

The hotel was clean but no where close to central cologne as many reviews had said. Station was a 10 minute walk from the hotel and didn’t feel extremely safe at night. Was then a further 20-25 mins from the station. Was expensive considering distance away and we could have paid the same to be closer. There is no bar nor restaurant on site either so I would say almost €800 for 4 nights it was over priced sadly. We never seen staff except for first thing in the morning.
Sadly I would not book this hotel hotel again

An ecomically priced hotel, good value for money! Quiet location, but easy walk to the tram stop. Clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. Reception staff very helpful. Kettle and fridge. Easy to drive out of city. Would use again.

Great place to stay! Easy to get to and situated within walking distance of a train station that allows access to the city. The front desk staff were pleasant and very helpful with how to get around Cologne. We got a family room that was large, clean, and very comfortable. Beds were comfortable and in room amenities (coffee/tea) were replenished each day. Would totally stay again!

Breakfast was terrible. Nothing was warm and they didn’t even have burners on to keep the food from getting cold. All the meats available seemed intentionally non-pork. There was not a single non-dairy option, from the creamers to the butter. We were totally disappointed at the cost of the hotel when you include such a terrible breakfast.

Great value for money

Frankly, a complete positive surprise. Perhaps not a fancy area (not dirty or dangerous or something, just totally boring), but easy accessible, parking available, large rooms, spotlessly clean, friendly service. Two restaurants very close (cafe del sol, also extremely friendly people there!!). Ideal for a family on the way. We got an unbeatable price!!

A definite winner

Great hotel on outskirts of Koln. Big comfortable, clean room. Nice breakfast. Free parking. Short walk to U-Bahn and into the city in about 15 minutes, with a family 24 ticket costing €15. Five minutes further walk and I to centre of Huerth with pubs, cafes and shops aplenty. No real frills about this hotel but real value added to all of the above and definitely a winner for the two nights we stayed.

La chambre en elle même était assez propre, mais quelques défaut de conception (dégradation mur, plafond..) mais pas du tout gênant pour le séjour. Nous étions en général dans l'hôtel juste pour dormir donc nous n'avons pas vu de personnel, l'ensemble de l'hôtel sentait très bon, nous somme arrivé les lits bien préparé, la salle de bain bien spacieuse, les chambres sont grandes, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour un bon séjour je recommande, le service client de l'hôtel est réactif.

Das Hotel präsentiert sich in einem sehr sauberen und gepflegten Zustand. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich, komfortabel und vermitteln einen angenehmen Gesamteindruck. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen des Hauses.

In den Abend- und Nachtstunden kann es jedoch etwas lauter werden, da sich in der Gegend auch eine Eventhalle befindet.

Insgesamt bietet das Hotel ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und eignet sich sowohl für Geschäftsreisende als auch für Gäste, die eine lebendige Atmosphäre schätzen.

Hébergement propre et calme ! Un peu loin du centre-ville certes, mais cela n’est pas dérangeant car le tram est à proximité (environ 10 minutes à pied). L’avantage également, c’est qu’il y a un parking gratuit inclus ! Le personnel est chaleureux et accueillant. Petit point à améliorer : les douches. Malheureusement, la fente d’évacuation de l’eau n’est pas suffisamment large et l’eau coule un peu en dehors.

Fürs reine Übernachten ganz ok. Aber: toilettenspühlung kaputt konnten nur den grossen knopf bedienen. Wasserhahn im Bad extrem schwer zu bedienen ohne zu stark das wasser an zu lassen. Sauber generell wars schon. Nur der Bettbezug war schmutzig also so einen grossen braunen Fleck, dann waren die halterungen des klodeckels rostig, es waren mehrmals wohl irgendwelche afghanischen Hochzeiten und die waren extremst laut und bis spät in die Nacht bis zum Morgen und die Gäste der Party nahmen alle Parkplätze auch die für nur Hotelgäste ein. Wir mussten ein mal auf der Seite des Hauses parken, wo man jedoch nicht wenden kann und somit auch Rückwerts wieder raus musste. Personal war kaum zu sehen und wenn dann sehr wortkarg auch wenn man Fragen stellte. Jeden Tag war das zimmer bei der Rückkehr des Ausflugs extremst heiss und feucht, wie tropisch. Wir mussten erst mal ne Weile das Fenster öffnen. Wir haben auch eine Flohlaus im Zimmer gefunden welche bei Feuchtigkeit anzutreffen sind.

Die Lage war nicht schlecht aber achtung, man läuft ne Weile bis zum Bahnhof und es hat keine Läden die man ohne Auto erreichen konnte, man braucht ein Auto um zu Penny,Aldi und co. zu kommen.

Der checkout war einfach, die Karte in eine box werfen und gehen da man gleich bei Ankunft bezahlen musste musste nichts mehr geregelt werden. Es gab ja auch Keine Minibar.

Fazit: wir würden da leider wohl nicht mehr buchen wegen den genannten punkten und wir finden für was es ist, war es zu teuer.

Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Betten sind gemütlich. Die Gegend ist ein bisschen abgelegen, jedoch geeignet wenn man Ruhe bevorzugt. Nicht allzu weit entfernt gibt es auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Verpflegung und co. Es gibt zu dem kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten.

10 Minuten Gehweg von der nächsten Öffi-Haltestelle. Renoviert und sauber. Marmorfebsterbretter werden eiskalt über Nacht. Kühlschrank kühlte nicht und es gab nicht alle TV-Sender. Wasserhahn hat wegen einem Leck konstant das Waschbecken benässt... war aber mit einem Handtuch abzudichten und kam jeden Tag der Reinigungsdienst... Ist halt ein altes Gebäude , neu renoviert aber nicht alles ist aktueller Standard. Sonst aber: alles top. Nettes Personal, sauber, Zimmerservice, gratis Wasser, Tee und Kaffee. Würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Gibt ein paar nette Restaurants 15 Minuten fußläufig (Krone, Tacos, Mr. Son, Burger...)

Das Hotel wurde wohl angefangen zu bauen oder umzubauen, wurde aber wohl in Betrieb genommen, ohne richtig fertig zu sein. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer war(gerade bei dem Preis) sehr komfortabel und großzügig. Die Zusammenstellung von allem ist aber irgendwie merkwürdig. Das Bad sieht aus, als ob es gestern renoviert wurde, die Duschabtrennung irgendwie nicht und die Türen schließen auch nicht richtig. Das Zimmer sieht modern aus, aber zb TV ist zwar groß, aber technisch eher so 10 Jahre alt(gefühlt). Insgesamt ist es leider sehr laut, weil direkt eine große Straße neben dem Hotel ist, dafür hat man aber eine Klimaanlage, wenn man die Fenster geschlossen lassen möchte. Also wenn das Hotel irgendwann komplett fertig ist und die Preise so bleiben, wird es sicherlich ein super Hotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt. Urlaub würde ich aufgrund der Lage dort nicht machen.

Otel köln merkeze 13-14 km mesafede. Temiz güzel kullanışlı bir otel. Fakat otelde yeme içme bar gibi imkanlar kısıtlı. Akşam dokuzdan sonra kimse kalmıyor otelde. Eğer bütün gün dolaşıp akşam sadece uyumak için gidilecekse güzel ve temiz bir otel. Otopark ücretsiz. Sessiz ve sakin bir muhitte.

Das Hotel ist praktisch. Das Zimmer ist sauber, groß und hell. Es hat ein geräumiges Badezimmer und große Fenster. Der Kleiderschrank bietet viel Stauraum und es gibt die Möglichkeit, Kaffee zu machen. Leider gibt es keinen Kühlschrank und die Bildqualität des Fernsehers war schlecht.

Alles bestens, komme gerne wieder. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und das Hotel ist nur 10 Minuten von der nächsten Bahnhaltestelle. Das Hotel ist somit ideal für Ausflüge nach Köln oder ins Phantasialand geeignet. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt war das WLAN, das könnte etwas besser sein.
