Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety, including some German food. However VIP Access benefits were not honoured at all.

Almost all communication from the hotel was only in German, except for a booking confirmation (addressed to \"Mr/Mrs [LAST_NAME]\"), and request for a review.
Information relevant to check-in was not available in English, which I found quite unhelpful.

The hotel was really nice and clean. I was in Koln for a weekday concert. The location was not far from the hotel and public transportation is accessible. Has available parking. A contactless check, but staff were still readily available to assist.

The hotel was in a perfect location for the convention I was attending.
Nice quiet area. Not to far from local transportation.
Reception staff were excellent with customer service and really helpful on checking out as my ordered taxi didn't know to go. But the evening night/early reception gentlemen gave him the right directions.
The two young gentlemen on the bar during my stay were extremely helpful and offered two different types of alcohol free beer.
The only negative was Saturday evening where you had a technical issue.
This was regarding no option to purchase evening meals, drinks as it was cash only.
Especially as I was at a very busy convention and didn't have time to eat.. Therefore had to go into the centre of Köln to find a restaurant to eat.
This was the only negative to a good stay.

A little out of the city but once we had worked out tram stops worked well for us. Comfortable clean room, just what we needed. We parked at a park and ride to avoid costly hotel parking and emissions fee. Worked out €30 for 48 hours rather than €50 at hotel.

Big BW hotel in the calm neighborhood of Ehrenfeld, Cologne. Hotel is clean, reception desk ladies helfpul.. My complaint is about temperature of the room, which I complo also to the reception. They said it was normal but it was not.. so i believe i will not prefer the hotel during winter times

4. Public transport was a 850m to 1km away which makes it difficult during the rainy winters.
5. Should change the rugs for sure, they either are dirty or look dirty, I am sure the hotel can get betters rugs.

I was not able to use the express check in for.some reason it wouod not let me. I stood at the reception desk to ask for help and the man on reception completely ignored me whilst on a phone call for a good 20 mins. He did not indicate he would be woth me shortly, or ask someone else to see me, just didnt look at me. It was very rude and unprofessional.

Great, clean and ideal for football!

Really clean and welcoming hotel. Modern rooms with good facilities, clean and quiet. Ideal location 45 min walk for FC Koln stadium to watch a Euros match. Also about 30 min walk to the city centre which was ideal as away from the hustle and bustle. Would stay here again and recommend with confidence.

For a Best Western Plus it was just OK. Unable to lock shower head it kept sliding down. Bath tub was very slippery & dangerous for older guest. Last night our refrigerator was not restocked as promised. Reluctant to go back to that hotel.

We needed a hotel near our son for 4 nights. It ticked all the boxes...clean and comfortable and a nice size room. Bathroom well equipped. Parking on sight although we thought was a bit expensive at 20 euros a night. Great location.

Great location 5 minute walk from tram stop at University Strasse (Number 1 or 7), 5 mins from Rudolph Plaza on Tram or 10 mins from Heumarket. The Christmas Markets are a must, people could not be more friendly. Staff at the Hotel excellent, attended to our every need. Great Weekend. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel Five ***** plus from us.

Lovely hotel in a nice area of Koln with good local restaurants that weren’t too touristy. A little way out of the city centre (about half an hours walk) but there is a tram line that’s runs about 5 minutes from the hotel. Room was good but the hotel needs better pillows.

Short walk to transport links or 40 minutes walk to the centre (Kolm Dom) so if the weather is good its an easy stroll to or from the main tourist attractions. We also found it was easy to walk to a nearby station for the airport too.

Pleasant stay at Park Inn

Room is comfortable bed is good. WiFi is fast and free. Since we booked a standard room it's a pity we did not have any complementary tea coffee or water boiler and neither mini fridge available in the room so keep that in mind Hotel is connected via public tram number 1 and 7 to neumarkt and then from there you can take ubahn to hbf. Hotel Staff is helpful and courteous. Room is sound proofed so we had a good sleep.

There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, which is a little strange, given how worldwide this provision is, and how cheap it would be to provide it. Odd pillows too - square, and took a bit of getting used to, but folding in half sorted that. Other than that, nice hotel, clean, warm, quiet, and good price if you don't take up any of the optional extras. Location is a bit out of the way but fine if you don't mind a short walk and tram, or a 20 min walk into town centre.

Hotels was wonderful, stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every bit of it. the hotel was close enough to stroll into the city on foot, however if this is a little too far for some to walk the tram station is a 5 minute walk away.

The city was beautiful and i would simply return to the amazing sites of the cathedral. The walk along the Rhine is also a must, there are plenty of bars and restuarants to stop and grab a drink in the old town.

Hotel for Business Meetings

Mixed bag. Front desk staff and restaurant personnel are helpful and competent. Rooms and baths of very good size (for Europe) but decor is dated and in need of repair. Room cleanliness isn't stellar. Amenities are what one would expect for price point but the free internet service does not save one's log-in data so each device has to be logged in each day and pretty much each session. Rooms on front of building are noisy due to nearby main avenue and ambulances directed to hospital down the road. Only reason to stay here is 1) you have a car (parking facilities seemed ample) 2) you REALLY need to be in this location (unlikely unless you are going to the university or have a meeting being held at this hotel). That said, public transport is readily accessible (tram) and Koln is small so one can easily walk to cathedral assuming average fitness and not being pressed for time. Asia museum is only nearby tourist attraction, all others are quite distant. Ample parks nearby for those who just want to walk. Decent restaurants up the road toward town (Aachener strasse). Indischer Curry hut had quite good Indian food (best I've had outside of London) and Beef brothers is supposed to have some of the best burgers in town. Bar Schmitz has outstanding gelato/ice cream and a constant line out front to prove it! Had a food truck gathering at the square around the Hahnertorburg several days of the week which was also a good and varied option for dinner.

The hotel is a good business hotel. It is not in the centre of the city but can reach it easily by taxi or tram. The area around the hotel is quiet and we did not have any external noise in our room. As the hotel is further out of town there are not restaurants right by the hotel but there is a local shopping street with some good restaurants and other shops about 7-10 minutes walk away.

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help.

Typical US-inspired business hotel, nothing particularly inspired but reliable and comfortable venue. They certainly could make an effort on the parking for guests (€18.- per day), which is extra and a surprise (I was not informed about it). Outside of that, good value for the price.

Pretty much what you'd expect from Radisson - you get what you paid for. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Free WiFi. The staff were polite, efficient and welcoming. There's nothing interesting near the hotel, but it's a 2-minute walk to the nearest train stop at Universitätstraße.

Good value for money business hotel

Nice facilities in a pleasant setting near the downtown area of Cologne.
While I would have no problem recommending the hotel to fellow business travelers for the standard of the room and facilities, I would not do the same for the restaurant which, to be frank, didn't perform all that well during my stay.
Nice breakfast selection, but the omelette I was served had been totally botched and appeared deconstructed and the generosity of serving us a full thermos of coffee turned into a solid minus for the thermos being so dirty that it left our hands badly needing washing after using it. One colleague made the observation that this hotel might serve as a training facility for new hotel chain staff..
Dinner service was slow and the food unremarkable at best, making the colleague who chose the curry wurst the happiest of the four of us.
Front desk staff were excellent and swiftly efficient at check-in as well as checkout.
The rooms are fine, but lack common business necessities such as an ironing board, safe, coffee maker and a fridge/minibar. Also, in at least two of the four rooms we booked, the TV did not work correctly, so despite the good value, I do not think this is a four-star hotel in my book.

Difficult to sleep with barking dogs howling through the night. Room at end of corridor was cold and quite noisy near the busy road. The staff were very good in providing us with extra bed clothes and a heater. The beds were quite hard. The staff in both the reception and bar were very helpful and always put themselves out to ensure our stay was as best as possible. The hotel was ideal in being near trams.

Have stayed in this hotel 4 times but never again. The positives were a good bed, clean room and good location. Unfortunately this time there were many negatives. The hotel placed us on a floor with lots of teenage boys so it was very very noisy into the small hours. At reception we waited and waited to be served, got to the front of the queue and the receptionist promptly walked off to help a colleague without even acknowledging us. As we were checking out she didn't even bother to ask how our stay was. Our room door was broken so it didn't lock securely. Lastly we paid extra for an upgraded room as in previous years these came with a completely free minibar. Now unfortunately you pay more but only get three complimentary items from a more restricted choice. I don't think I will stay there again.

A modern comfortable and friendly hotel, well placed in West Cologne. We liked proximity to parks and the big, peaceful and interesting public cemetery. Great eating options within a mile. Easy public transport links. Staff genuinely helpful, professional and cheerful. Wifi a little hit and miss, but there, and FREE! Would stay again.

Room is basic but clean and functional. Everything worked fine.

Front desk employees professional and friendly. That certainly was appreciated.

I recall I paid EUR8 / 24h for internet.

Taxi from HBf / city centre was around EUR12-13, so that is worth keeping in mind depending on where one needs to go. I thought the location was good if one needs to go to different parts of the city during the stay.
