This hotel; is just not for me. The design is pretentious and the design and layout of the room was non-ergonomic in the extreme. The heating was unadjustable. The open plan bathroom is disagreeable.
A Levantine restaurant is no doubt very trendy- but not to everyone's taste. A hotel needs to cater for a wide spectrum of tastes. There is no all-day cafe or bar-lounge. Drinks mid-day seem to be unobtainable.. The staff were pleasant and charming but not really able to make a difference.

Our 2-night stay was good. The breakfast & service in the restaurant were both very good, and the restaurant was very clean. Our room was clean, but the carpets in the hallways definitely could use a thorough cleaning. Our room could also need a fresh coat of paint. The restaurants in the nearby area were mostly of the fast-food variety, and not to our liking.

Really good hotel in a nice area. Cool vibe and an excellent rooftop bar. Breakfast was good but 29 euro seems a bit steep. Rooms cool and bed very comfortable. Would definitely go back but be warned bar was very busy Friday night and had to queue to get in.

Cute but needs some improvements

Overall it was good. The rooms could use better lighting, specially when you have a room that it’s facing another room on the other side and you have no privacy. You want to close the curtains and have good lighting in case you need to sort out your stuff or whatever when you’re traveling. Also, I found unnecessary things like the tote and the teddy bear for sale and I couldn’t find a kettle or a coffee machine so I had to call to request one which should be a basic thing to have in a hotel room specially when the rates are on the expensive side. I also didn’t love the sink being so close to the bed so if someone splashes water it goes on the bed. I wish they would just use a regular queen size or king size mattress, instead of putting two twin size together, which is uncomfortable especially when it doesn’t have a comfortable topper or anything. The location was great for what I needed it.

A quirky choice for a weekend in Cologne.
And although it is a hub for remote working it didn’t feel corporate. The breakfast in the restaurant was great and the monkey bar is better than most hotel bars.
Lots of thoughtful touches dotted about. We appreciated the “runners corner” with local maps, fruit, water and complimentary sweatbands.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend !

I really loved my stay here and the restaurant on the roof is lovely. There is construction work outside which is annoying but it's not the fault of the hotel. The rooms are great and there are lots of quirky characteristics to the hotel itself. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

After staying at the 25hrs in Copenhagen, we were excited to experience another 25hrs hotel. The ambiance with the spaceship dark walls etc. was not clever nor inviting. We were happy to participate in the eco support of not having room service daily. But when we requested an extra towel or the trash to be emptied, we had to follow up several times before it was completed. There are SEVERAL other hotels that are nicer and a bit less expensive nearby. On the positive side, we will come back to enjoy the restaurant NENI (delicious!) and the top floor bar (the cocktail options were yummy!)

- My room was not serviced during my 2 night stay.
- 8 breakfast charges appeared on my bill, even though I never went. They were eventually removed from the bill.
- The coffee shop attendant is almost never there. I had to ask the front desk to charge me for my coffee, after waiting for a while.

Looks like a great property otherwise, but I was surprised by how bad my experience was with respect to the overall service after checkin.

beautiful 60s office bldg but all furniture is stained so badly and stains on carpets in hallways. Chairs in restaurant are all scratched and condition of hotel for only being 5 years old is really bad. Also heat doesn't work well and breakfast is not impressive. suite should have double sinks. Bar is so overcrowded with lineups on weekend and no priority for hotel guests.

Best choice for Köln

This was my second time staying at the 25hours Hotel in Köln. I enjoy the atmosphere and the cool theme of the hotel. It is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The rooftop bar, sauna, and lobby are nice perks. I hope to visit again soon.

Space-age, gimicky style - love or hate (i hated)

I arrived late after a 10 hour trip. Felt like I had walked into a nightclub or film set. took me 15 minutes to find my room because of the space-age style numbering which I couldn't read properly. TV didnt work, took an hour before it got fixed, no room service ( you have to order from a wierd middel eastern fusion type menu and then collect yourself). No large fluffy bath towels just hard medium sized ones. Large room was the positive but full of retro style furniture and a bicycle to use while you are there. NOT SUITABLE FOR A BUSINESS TRIP

A very cool hotel and a good value for Köln

I genuinely enjoyed staying at this hotel. I was there for eight nights over the holidays. It’s near a major street with shops and you are a quick U-Bahn ride to the city center. It has interesting decor, a free mini-bar, good spa, and a nice view of the cathedral. The staff speak German and English and are helpful. It was a great value. I hope to return one day. :)

Awesome hotel with creative vibe running throughout. There were just a few things missing, which would have made the stay absolutely perfect – no amenities in the rooms (kettle/tea coffee etc) but the first round in the mini bar is included. The bathroom was great, but the size of the towels were ridiculously small! And no hair conditioner provided which was a shame. The curtains could do with being blackout when you're in the outer circle rooms, the room gets very light when the sun rises. Pairing an Apple device to the TV also didn't work. But in general the room had a great design feel to it, and the bed was super comfortable!

Best Hotel in Cologne

I was recommended this hotel to stay at by my work colleagues who live in Cologne. Although it is 15 mins walk away from the city centre and the cathedral, the hotel is certainly worth staying at and the rooms are excellent and you receive a free mini bar. The reception staff are very welcoming and accommodating, always there to help with your needs. They provided me with an iron when I asked for one, and I was also able to leave my luggage behind reception on the day I checked out and attend my lunchtime meeting, before coming back to the hotel to get changed and continue to leave my luggage behind the reception before collecting it later on in the evening before my nighttime flight home. The monkey bar is excellent and there are plenty of seats outside along the balcony, as well as inside. The views from the monkey bar are excellent and you can see across the whole city of Cologne. The breakfast in the main restaurant was great and offered a variety of options. I even had rice pudding for my breakfast every morning. I haven’t had rice pudding since I was a child and I am now in my 40s so this was nice for me. You could also have breakfast outside along the balcony too. I bumped into somebody at the airport coming home and they said they didn’t stay in that hotel but he did go there one night for a evening meal and the food was out of this world. I think the next time I stay in Cologne I will have an evening meal in the main restaurant. Overall an great stay and good value!

Free use of the minibar was an added bonus too! Also the service we received was great. Would definitely stay here again if I returned to Cologne!

Not An Enjoyable Stay

The hotel has been custom-designed with a science fiction feel. The room itself was designed to fit in with this theme but I found it stark and uncomfortable, bare concrete ceilings with filler and exposed services don't work for me. The shower leaked water everywhere as a seal at the bottom of the door was missing which resulted in a flood across the tiled floor. The towels had to be used to soak up the water but sadly there was no radiator or towel rail to dry them out afterwards. The free mini-bar consisted of two bottles of beer, a chocolate bar and water which is not what I regard as mini-bar. The duvet cover on one of the beds had a brown stain on it which on examination was..... well you work it out. The breakfast was very over-priced but the food was OK. Overall I was glad to leave the hotel after two nights and will not be returning.

Let’s start with the bedrooms ( Large size) The layout is very odd. The bed is in the middle of the room and looks quite funky until you arrive and realise that the 3 large windows look directly out onto some very nice flats with verandas, who can look in directly onto your bed and the glass fronted shower. There is no privacy at all.

I didn’t like being shouted at for forgetting my face mask one morning at breakfast when I only moved 12ft to refill my coffee mug. I wore it all the other times.

Visiting for Christmas markets

Very friendly check in by the helpful staff member started our wonderful stay in Cologne.

The roof top bar is nice with a great choice of drinks, breakfast tasty enough and the addition of a Neni restaurant for evening meals is nice (reservation recommended).

The hotel is in a good location, 30 minute walk to the cathedral area for example. Was also very conveniently located for all the Christmas markets. Design wise very funky and modern, make sure to check out the lobby area. We didn't borrow a bike but it looked like there were plenty available and Cologne appeared safe for cyclists.

Room very spacious with all you'd need, our two dogs were made to feel very welcomed as well with treats and two massive dog cushions :)

Hotel parking is very close and if it's full you have the option of two multi-story car parks nearby.

The one negative for me was the fact you only get an in-room coffee machine if you stay in the Large rooms. I fell that the hotel might consider this an extra incentive to upgrade your room but in-room coffee/tea facilities should be included in all rooms in my opinion.

The hotel had absolutely everything you can ask for in regards to facilities for a weekend break in a new a city! They even offer power banks that you can take out for the day to keep you charged up! Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel, great scene. Would love to come back.

For the restaurant, food was really good. The staff there was unfortunately too nonchalant, in my opinion. The drinks took forever, and we had to ask for them a couple of times.

This is a truly unique hotel, the funky decor, the unique amenities and unique building layout. The room was very comfortable and a welcome change from standard hotel rooms.
