The room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The hotel was in a good location for public transport - we easily got a metro into central Koln. We didn’t pay for breakfast as we felt it was expensive but there was a great cafe a short walk away.

Stayed here to go to a concert at Lanxness Arena and felt really safe on the way back. The tram station near the train station in Ehrenfeld was a little bit weird, but it was still full of families and other women around, and we only had to wait 10 minutes for the tram at around 10:30pm. A bit far from the city centre (12ish minutes on S-Bahn or regional train), but great location if you don’t mind public transport.

The hotel room was good - family room with bunk beds but the location of the hotel is a bit out of the way from the centre. Public transport is nearby but you have to plan your route carefully. Breakfast wasn’t included and cost €12.90pp and was just continental and mediocre. Upon checking the receptionist kept answering the phone which made checkin take longer. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Ein sehr neues und modernes Hotel, das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Check-In geht auch über Automaten vor Ort. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, einziger Minuspunkt ist, dass es keinen Mülleimer im Zimmer gab, nur im Bad gab es einen kleinen Eimer. Leider ist das Hotel sehr weit außerhalb der Stadt und entsprechend weit vom Bahnhof entfernt.

Nice clean and modern. About 5 mins from the nearest tram stop or 8 mins to one that runs into central Cologne. Easy check in , clean and modern. If you’re not bothered about being in the Centre of the city this place is fine. Felt safe walking about after a late evening return. Would return and the price was really good for a triple room.

Staff were always friendly and helpful, everything looked brand new and kept well. We were in a family room with bunk beds, the beds were comfortable and I loved the bunk. Rooms had A/C and a small table, comfortable bedding. The lobby was a nice place to hang out in the evenings. Rooms were quiet, couldn’t hear other guests. There is a bakery/coffee shop and small market store a short walk away, lots of transit near by.

Kept dining room closed after breakfast and then got angry when people gathered in lounge areas. People forced to eat in rooms and then staff got angry they ate in rooms. the beds were not of standard size. Instead, they resembled toddler/junior beds with miniature duvets. This aspect of the accommodation was truly disheartening. 200 euro per night for that!!! As an adult traveler, I expected a more comfortable and spacious sleeping arrangement. It felt quite cramped and inadequate for a good night's rest. I found it difficult to get comfortable, and the small duvets provided little coverage, leaving me feeling exposed and chilly throughout the night.

Das Zimmer wirkte sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand, jedoch verbreitete die Lüftung im Bad sehr unangenehme Gerüche, was als insgesamt sehr störend empfunden wurde. Das Personal an der Rezeption machte auf mich einen wenig motivierten Eindruck. Die Lage ist aus meiner Sicht nicht Köln-City, sondern Köln-Braunsfeld an der Grenze zum Stadtteil Ehrenfeld. Insgesamt für mich nur eine mittelmäßige Erfahrung.

Terrible Experience – Never Coming Back

I had an awful stay at this hotel from start to finish. The woman at the reception was incredibly rude and acted like helping guests was a burden. There were no parking spaces available, even though they claim to have parking. When I asked for assistance, the staff didn’t lift a finger.

The room itself was dirty, with dust everywhere and a strange smell that made it impossible to relax. On top of that, the hotel is far away from the city, so getting anywhere was inconvenient and time-consuming.

Overall, a horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Wir hatten das größere Zimmer gewählt, was es auch tatsächlich war. Es ist aber nicht klar, dass es um ein Behinderten Zimmer handelt. Entsprechend sind Türgriffe niedrig, die Dusche etc. Es wäre hilfreich das auch zu kommunizieren, dass diese Größenordnung der Zimmer Behinderten Räume sind. Ablageflächen im Bad oder Haken sind quasi nicht vorhanden.

Hotel ziemlich neu. Leider sind nicht genug Parkplätze vorhanden. Kann gut sein, dass man keinen hat und dann auf der Strasse steht. Wenn man einen erhalten hat, kostet dieser EUR 16.-- auch stolz für solch eine Gegend. Sonst Hotel gut. Für einen kurzen Städtetrip ganz ok.

Alles gut sehr freundliches Personal am Check-in,

Parken geht ist aber relativ teuer 16€ ist in Relation für eine kurze Parkdauer zu teuer! Sollte sich B&B evtl. noch einmal Gedanken machen wenn man abends ankommt nur eine Nacht dort bleibt. Ist aber nicht nur bei ihnen so, ist ein generelles Thema.

Negativ: keine Möglichkeit die Koffer unterzustellen, Probleme beim Einchecken (nicht nur bei uns). Uns wurde gesagt, dass wir noch 80 Euro zahlen müssen, obwohl bereits alles beim der Onlinebuchung bezahlt wurde.

Das B&B ist ein sehr funktionelles aber trotzdem angenehmes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, die Betten sind bequem, das Bad ist gut und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat im örtlichen Vergleich ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Vielleicht sollte sich das Management doch mal überlegen, ob man nicht auch eine klitzekleine Kaffeemaschine für die Gäste der einfachen Kategorie bereitstellen könnte…

Aircon not working after first day. Not fixed.
Not possible to check in early.
We had a stay last year same hotel and was told breakfast was free on second visit. A lie.
Breakfast not ready first day, coffee machine problems, that a had to report before it was fixed.
Wifi unstable. Chckd out 1 day early driving 9 hours back to Denmark. Not coming back.

Wir waren zufrieden. Ein Kaffeeautomat wäre schön gewesen. Nettes Personal, nur die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. In der Dusche waren irgendwelche Haare unter einem Bett lag Müll und im anderen Zimmer war das Laken nicht sauber.
