Room was very comfortable and huge for our family of 4. We stayed in XL comfort room. Very clean and service was friendly. We didnt have breakfast but the breakfast area looked lovely. There was complimentary mulled wine in the reception area which was a nice touch. Location is great, right by tram stop. It was about 30 mins walk to the cathedral xmas market and other markets were all about 15-20 mins if you prefer to walk. There are plenty of restaurants and shops closeby. Had a fantastic weekend visiting all the xmas markets, the hotel was beautifully decorated and very xmassy. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lage Barbarossaplatz, sehr zentral. Preis ist etwas zu hoch, weil die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Parkplatz ist vorhanden, muss besser reserviert sein. Frühstück ist gut, Ausstattung sehr geschmackvoll. Service freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The manager B.Peynor was very kind and looked after me very well despite an initial hiccup. I would advise no a/c in the single room I had. There is a fan. It is very convenient with the tram stops, supermarket and McDonald. Bring your body lotion as it is not provided.

Available paid parking and spacious room. That’s all that’s good about this place.
The rooms are musty and dank because there’s no circulation of air. I told the staff 3 times over 2 days that I wanted them to turn on the fan on the in room a/c unit and each time they came in, looked at it and said they didn’t know how to turn it on but would tell maintenance/housekeeping to do it. There was some attitude each time. Each time nothing happens. We had 2 very uncomfortable nights. There is also only 1 pillow per person which is insufficient.
No fridge, no safe, and signs that say you will be fined if you bring hot food into the room.

This has become my go to property in Cologne for my weekly business trips in November. From the friendly staff at check-in to clean rooms and comfortable beds, it has it all. And, you walk outside and have many dining options as well as grocery stores to choose from. I can only recommend.

You have a local subway/tram station right outside the hotel as well as several restaurant and grocery store options.

I enjoyed my stay here besides the cleaning staff throwing away(?) my contact case. The room was a good size and right in the heart of downtown. I wouldn't say it's quiet being right in front of the tram station but with the window shut it wasn't too bad at all. The brunch in the lobby was great with plenty of options to choose from. I would recommend to others

No complaints - easy check in, good communication (I messaged to say I was arriving early, they accommodated this and messaged back promptly)

Great location downtown, walkable (about half an hour through centre) from the main train station. Loads of good bars and restaurant's.

Check in was nice, greeted by a staff member who was generous with his time and happy to point out some interesting nearby places via an interactive map they have at reception.

Inside is nice, cafe downstairs is friendly and have a nice selection. Room its self is simple but well presented, clean, everything you'd need really. I had a large room and I was on my own (price just made sense to do this)

Cost factored in, I'd recommend this hotel and this area. Though I was here for work I'd have no quarrels having my family stay here. Seems tailored to suit that too.

Room with a View in Cologne during Carnival.

Went for a weekend trip to Carnival. This hotel is close to Metro (Barbarossaplatz), and the route of the Carnival. Metro to Central Station was 9-10 minutes at the most, which is next to the Cologne Cathedral. The reception spoke English and were very friendly and accommodating at check-in. They asked if we needed any help or had any questions. Checking out was also quick and easy. They have a coffee shop with snacks/coffee/drinks (beer) available to purchase with cash or credit card. They have great tasting cappuccino.... The hotel had elevator and stairs. The room was clean and we were given a room with view to parade/street. It was good to have the room with a view. The hotel seemed packed with people, but they were active in maintaining their area clean. There was even security in the evening to ensure guests were ok when entering the hotel. The hotel area was safe for us during the day and late night. I would stay here again without thinking twice. There are little Kiosk stores, and bigger REWE stores (similar to grocery market) nearby to get food or drinks. There is even a pharmacy next door for any over the counter meds you may need, great for travelers who forget allergy pills.
Shower had cool and hot water, with good pressure. The pillows and sheets were crisp/clean. Just note, eating in room is not recommended, they prefer that you use the lobby or cafe, understandable to maintain cleanliness.

Service, room, and breakfast were very good. Ms. Gunther was fantastic and a valuable asset to the organization. My only complaint was the temperature in the rooms. There was no central air and i just assumed this when booking. Europe benefits a lot from U.S. tourists. They need to do something about this for higher temperatures.

Very cute hotel, perfectly functional room

Fun and funky hotel, very friendly reception and breakfast staff. The room (medium) was on the small side for 2 but perfectly functional, and thankfully had a ceiling fan which was a saving grace for a warm night. The hotel is on a main street which was a bit noisy, but the window shut out most of the din (aided by the white noise of the fan). Elevator is small, 2 of us barely fit with bags. My only complaint was the price but it was a high demand weekend so all hotels had high rates. I would stay here again.

Hatte ein Zimmer im Keller mit Milchglas zur Hauptstraße, wo nachts Betrunkene einem gegen das Fenster pinkeln. Extrem laut. Der Boden auf dem das Bett stand war so schräg dass man nach und nach aus dem Bett rutscht. Es wurden in 2 Tage weder Bett gemacht noch Handtücher gewechselt. 18€ für einen Parkplatz.

I got the wrong room and they could not do anything to give me my room. There was someone of the staff that was very rude to me and my friend (though there was also other nice staff). He stalked us in the basement, the door of my room has been unlocked. I felt very uncomfortable that night.

The hotel entrance door is locked on Sunday evening and to open that you need a code which is given Sunday morning only and not before! Sweeping the floor and changing sheets are not included in room cleaning and it happens every 5 days of stay.

Small boutique hotel right on Barbarossaplatz in Cologne. Very convenient for public transportation. I had a car and appreciated their reasonable priced garage parking. Room and bathroom were small but adequate. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was way better than I had expected.

Quite a small room, but still in overall fine for price level. Breakfast was actually a bit surprise in a good way (assumed it will be only basic coffee, juice and some additions, but good variety of sandwiches, jougurth, pancake option etc).

Loved this quirky hotel in a busy city neighborhood! Good eats nearby, easy walk to city center and fun decor. Best of all breakfast included - key when traveling with kids. The room was clean and spacious. Typical city noise, as expected, so it was not quie, but no bother for us. If you don’t mind the noise and just want a fun place for a few days, this is a great hotel for a family.

Sorry but the hotel had very small basic rooms.
At about 2 am the occupiers of 2 or 3 other rooms on our floor returned singing and making loud noise.
Our breakfast was quite reasonable .
Outside,there were 4 different tram lines which to a light sleeper could be a problem.

Good quality basic hotel next to tram/underground stop to main central locations, meaning only 7 mins from main attractions. Hotel is slick and modern with its white and green decor, rooms good, staff great. Breakfast was wonderful and whilst the bar is not busy it's open most of the time to grab a refreshing drink. There are various toys and games for children in the bar/reception lounge - a good family hotel. The only down point was not having a kettle and tea making facilities in the room, but maybe we are too British... I would go back to this hotel again if visiting Cologne.

Die Lage ist premium, das Frühstück nett. Jeden Morgen hatten wir im Frühstücksraum einen kleinen Urlaubsmoment.
Das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Das Zimmer war sauber, leider dieses Zimmer 107 sehr laut und Raucher stehen zum rauchen /telefonieren quasi vorm Bett.
Das Fenster zu kippen für die Nacht ist schwierig.
Vielleicht könnte man einen anderen Rauerbereich finden.
Ich war geschäftlich unterwegs, da hätte ich mir einen guten Platz für Blusen und Hosen gewünscht.

Das Zimmer war sehr ordentlich und modern eingerichtet. Einzig das Bad war vielleicht nicht ganz auf dem Niveau des Zimmer, dadruch, dass die Badewanne auch gleichzeitig die Dusche ist.

Es jedoch wirklich ein Top Hotel in puncto Lage und Preis, aus der Tür raus und schon ist man in der Straßenbahn und in 5 Minuten ist man in der Innenstadt und in 10 min am Kölner Hauptbahnhof.

Wir haben vor Ort ein kostenloses Upgrade für ein größeres Zimmer bekommen und dieses war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal war / ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die hauseigene (Kaffee-) Bar ist sehr empfehlenswert. Alles in allem ein tolles, empfehlenswertes Hotel in perfekter Lage für einen Wochenendaufenthalt in Köln. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Zuerst die positiven Dinge:
Das Personal ist super nett und das Frühstück und der Frühstücksbereich toll und sehr liebevoll gestaltet.
Nun zum Negativen:
Von den Zimmern kann man das leider nicht sagen, sie sind kalt (im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes), lieblos eingerichtet, wirken sehr steril, was witzig ist, denn es könnte jemand mal ordentlich Staub wischen und putzen. Es zieht durch die Fenster, die direkt am Kopfende des Bettes sind. Es gibt keinen Kleiderschrank und wenn man ein Zimmer in Richtung Hauptstraße hat kommt man ohne Ohrstöpsel nicht zum Schlafen, denn man hört jede einzelne Stadtbahn ein- und ausfahren und nicht nur die!
Ach ja und viel Spaß mit den an der Wand im Flur angebrachten Flaschenöffnern! Am besten nackt benutzen, da ihr danach eh duschen müsst!

Die Heizung des Zimmers ging zwar, war aber viel zu klein um das Zimmer zu erwärmen. Zudem war das Fenster wahrscheinlich undicht. Es zog rein.
Zudem fragte ich nach einem Parkplatz an, den ich bereit war auch zu zahlen, wurde aber mit einer unfreundlichen und absolut unprofessionellen Dame in Verbindung gesetzt, welche mich mit den Worten \"entweder haben Sie noch was, oder ich lege jetzt auf\" abgespeist worden bin. Ich buche niemals mehr wieder da!

Çok rahattı özellikle hareketli bir bölgede kalmak isteyenler burayı seçebilirler. Otelin karşısından tramvay durağı var ama şehir merkezine yürüyerek de gidebilirsiniz, uzak değil. Marketlere kolayca ulaşabilirsiniz. Tek beğenmediğim nokta duvarlar biraz ince olmasıydı.

Prima hotel voor relatief weinig. We waren hier tijdens een beurs en dan gaan alle prijzen sky high (300 voor een nacht of meer). Hotel Nuno was met 160 dan nog acceptabel. Het is een basic hotel, maar netjes en schoon. En met een bed, ook niet onbelangrijk. Minpunt: het douchegordijn, dat vind ik niet meer van deze tijd. Al met al prima voor een nacht.

Bad stay at Nunohotel

We stayed at NunoHotel during our trip to Cologne to watch the Euros. One night when we came back to our room one of the beds had for some reason been taken away. This caused us a real upset and the staff was not very cooperaritive in resolving the issue. In the end we had to make the bed ourselves as the staff required us to help them do their job. The hotel did not apologise for what happened at any point.

Ich war geschäftlich unterwegs. Die zentrale Lage hatte es mir angetan. Die Bahn fährt direkt vor der Türe und man kann im City Center aber auch alles bequem zu Fuß erreichen (ich habe tatsächlich die Gelegenheit genutzt und war nach Feierabend noch shoppen :0) Besonders hervor heben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit des Hotelpersonals (super hilfbereit!!!) und das köstliche und reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet. Top!

Flinkt personale som var hjælpsom ved indtjekning og også i løbet af vores ophold.
Lidt lydt, vi rejste 5 personer (på 3 værelser) 2 af værelserne var lige ovenpå hinanden og der kunne kan høre gennem luftskakten når der blev talt på det andet værelse :-).
Beliggenheden var helt super, tæt på liv, restauranter og offentlig transport. Ca 30 min gang til Dom og 10 min til Citybus Hop on/off
Værelserne havde det der skulle være og pæne og rene.
Halvdelen af vores selvskab benyttede morgenmaden, og den så rigtig lækker ud med et stort udvalg. Noget for en hver smag.
Jeg vil ikke udelukke at vi vil benytte dette hotel igen.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr Zentral und gut überall zu Fuß erreichbar.
Bahnhof nur 3 KM entfernt.
