Great. Staff were fantastic. Tom was freezing first night. They were apologetic and have me free food the rest of the stay to make up for the problem. I would stay here again!

Very good value for a great hotel. Definitely one of the best Leonardo hotels I've stayed in. The surroundings are really beautiful - a park with a lake and easy walk to the tram into the city centre. Highly recommended.

Great but extra expense was not planned

Excellent stay although am annoyed that you pay extra for another bed when you have declared that there are three of you one is a child and several hotels on this trip have assumed that a 12 year old will share the bed with the adults ..it looks like future trips I will have to book 3 adults ...
This was not the case with all hotels . But when booking on a comparison site is a hit bad when on a budget then you find you have to pay extra!! An expense not taken into consideration when booking ..

We went to stay for the euros so double the usual cost and well over priced , rooms 3 star , lovely staff , not a pretty hotel but great position and the back onto the park is lovely .

I feel that this property is not worth the price I paid for. No breakfast or fitness center. Breakfast price is 23 Euro per person. Most of all I did not like the way receptionist treated us; no smile and it seemed like he was not happy about our stay with them and answered my questions in an unpleasant manner. They also had some issues with cleanliness. Location of the hotel is in a great place which gives you a lot of options. An emergency door to our hallway was not secured and people kept slamming the door which was very annoying and its stairs was nasty. Their lobby was not well decorated or suitable to spend some quality time.

+ Bathroom was below average, with small shower with inwards collapsing doors. No bathtub, no slippers.

+ Tv was OK, a bit outdated (can't connect your devices)

Great location in City Park.

This hotel is located in the City Park in a suburb of Cologne. Great park, many restaurants and shops, and tram stops with in walking distance. Our room had a great view of the lake. Many miles of bike and walking trails in this park system.

stayed for 2 nights at the end of August during a very hot spell, unfortunately the hotel decided to upgrade their air-conditioning, so all the rooms were very hot even at night time. Apart from that would use the hotel in future if we are in the area

The hotel is centrally located in koln. However the hotel did not advice us in advance that there is painting and repairs are being done during our stay. The noise of repairs was very loud and even the front desk staff did not mention that. The smell of fresh paint that included the chemicals in pain were very strong since the painter was painting the elevator walls which were very close to our room. The worst part was their elevators that did not fit my husbands electric wheel chair so he could not go up to the room on his wheel chair and he had to use his stick to get in and out of the elevator.
Staff was very pleasant and the park in the back was a plus.

This hotel is in a great location with easy access to autobahn, stadium and walking trails. The only problem I had was getting the AC to work properly and actually cool the room. Luckily it wasn't a super hot night and I left the window open for a while.

Good location, out of the city centre. It takes only 15 minutes to reach downtown. Condition of hotel is good, except bathroom, is out dated and you can bearly sit on the toilet. The hairdryer stops every 3 minutes for 5 minutes, that a bit annoying.

Potential to become the best hotel in Cologne. The complete experience is great, but could easily be outstanding. The prices are reasonable. The service is generally very good. We stayed for five days and felt welcome and relaxed. Rooms are a nice size and very comfortable for working and relaxing. Selection of TV channels available is excellent for international guests. Bathrooms are really clean and a decent size.The restaurant is very good, although it would be nice to see more choice on both the menu and wine list. I found the hotel very convenient for business meetings - easily accessible for guests and attentive staff in the bar and on the outside terrace.

I stayed here during Carnival weekend and it was perfectly located away from the madness. Located near the Stadwald and overlooking a lovely lake, you can take a stroll through the woods, this is a peaceful place to stay when visiting, and has the benefit of easy access via tram or bus into the city. Ok it a relatively basic Hotel, however, it has a bar and restaurant which is nice all be it a little pricey, but walk down the road and there's a couple of pub restaurants which are good value. My room was very tidy, clean and in good condition and the bed was extremely comfortable.
I'd recommend it and would happily stay there again.

Quiet residential area of Cologne but ideal for me

Quiet residential area of Cologne but ideal for me as my daughter lives a couple blocks nearby. I had figured this wouldn't be an interesting area, but if you like to walk there is an extensive commercial district with lots of restaurants a few blocks down Dürener Straße. Also the lake and park in the back made for a nice view out of the room window. There are tram and bus stops a block away to get into the Köln city center. Free WiFi worked well which is a blessing compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Germany. Had a problem initially with my MacBook not connecting but then it dawned on me that I had static DNS settings configured and once I removed those the WiFi logon worked fine. The room itself was very nice with comfortable bed and lots of pillows. The bathroom was clean and in great condition. Water pressure was good as well.

We had 2 separate 5-day stays here about a week apart. Returning for the second stay felt like \"coming home\" after a 7 day road trip. Both rooms we had were on the 3rd floor and very comfortable. All staff (particularly the restaurant staff) were friendly and helpful, and our almost non-existent German was never a problem, as all staff spoke fluent English. The hotel is located about 5 mins walk from a tram stop to and from Cologne's city area, and adjacent to the very pretty Stadtwald, with lots of walking paths through the park. If you have kids, they will love the deer park in the Stadtwald (deer, goats, ducks and more who can all be hand fed) - it is free to enter.

Most terrible hotel that we stayed in Germany

It was one of the most terrible hotel stays we had in the entire trip. The hotel front desk employees was extremely unfriendly and not helpful at all. I ask for help to get my bags to the room and the person at the front deck just ignored me. i will not recommend this hotel for any other traveller. It is too far from the city and the cab ride cost you 20 Euros or more. Not happy at all will not stay again.

The hotel is a reasonable hotel some distance from the city. Its relatively easy to find when driving and is on one of the main tram lines (#7) which can get to the city in around 15 minutes and is reasonably frequent. The tram stop is a few hundred meters away from the hotel.

Great hotel if you don't mind to be a little away from downtown Cologne. My second time staying here and will likely stay here again. If you plan to walk from the hotel to train station it is about 7 minutes walk. walking this distance after it is dark is not recommended due to lack of lighting.

It was really bad, the room was filthy , the door lock didn't work, bathroom really dirty, no bath towels, I rang the reception the first time she hung up, finally I got through asked for towels. 30 minutes later still no towels. I went downstairs and asked to have the room changed extremely rude staff saying housekeeping is not there and will be in half an hour. After a heated argument She changed the room saying that's the last room I have no other choice. They wanted me to take all my luggage to the new room. It was a terrible experience. I would highly recommend you to forget about this hotel.

The staff were very helpful and arranged taxis and storage of materials needed for my business trip.

The restaurant backs onto a lovely park and the waiters were attentive. As the weather was rainy I ate twice in the restaurant and had one very good meal, the second was rather uninspiring although edible.

My only criticism was that having requested a non-smoking room, someone was smoking on the floor I was on which permeated the hallway.

Upon arrival they told me that they were overbooked although i had a confimed reservation with credit card guaranteed payment.then they added not to worry as they will pay my taxi to another hotel next to the airport.when i answered that i selected them because they were close to city center and recommended by trip advisor while the other hotel is not they said that in case other booked reservations will not show they will return me to their hotel.At this stage I got furious because it meant that they still have rooms and insisted to have a room which they gave me.The next day they allocated my room to another guest who entered my room with a key while I was there.I called the receptionist who pretended that i called him that morning to tell him that i was leaving...very unprofessional since at least they should have looked if i have checked out and if the room have been prepared for the next guest.
Beside you have to wait at least 15 minutes to get a cab.

We only stayed 1 day for a mini getaway. The hotel staff was very friendly, the good from the restaurant was good, room was clean and the lake/park located behind the hotel was perfect as we traveled with our 2 small dogs. It was a little creepy walking my dogs at night because of how dark the area is bit other than that our stay was perfect!

Would recommend this hotel and would definitly go back again, The only downside was the waiter service trying to get a drink from the bar while sitting outside in the lovely seating area, waited ages and then was presented with someone else's bill and we still hadnt been served, spoilt it a bit.

18€ to park a motorbike!!!!

I was travelling home to the UK, from friends in Karlsruhe, to break up the trip I decided to stay over in this hotel.
What a mistake.
Couldnt get into the car park on my 900 touring motorcycle with out getting a machine ticket.. eighteeen per day to park on the pavement!!
I almost get wiped out by a spanish coach/bus, the driver was using his mobile whilst trying to navigate the car park.
I walked into reception, to check in. The guy on reception was fairly adept in English.
I was charged another forteen per night for wifi.
I went up to my room, to drop my bike jacket and helmet off.
Room was \"ok\" but nothing like the \"superior\" room that was shown on the website.
I got the lift back down to reception, to head out and get my bags, from my bike.
As soon as the doors open.. BANG.. I was assaulted by a short spanish guy, who rammed his suitcase into my left leg, leaving some nice bruising and almost knocking me to the floor.
No apologies, no contrition, nothing!
went to reception and spoke to the guy receptionist, who offered me a free coke cola, and promised to speak to the coach tour operator.
Enough was enough, and I went back to my room, grabbed my jacket and helmet.
Went to reception and asked for my bill, offering my credit card.
From moment 1, in that hotel, I was not made to feel welcome. The only thing I can put it down to, is the bike gear and being a biker. I left, but have still ended up paying wifi charges and room charge.

Fees for every little extra and poor value for mon

Having just stayed in close to 50 different hotels during the past 8 weeks across Europe, this was the only one who wanted an exorbitant fee to use Wi-Fi. It was not even free in the lobby. Even the Sheraton in Munich offered free Wi Fi. The staff were decidedly cold and unfriendly. Given the distance out of town the pricing was not great. Their fee for parking was high and it was not even for under cover parking making it unsafe. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

All and all a nice place to stay. You will be charged for internet service and parking if so desired. All the staff was very friendly and spoke English well. Really had no complaints at all until I was ready to check out and they informed me there was a price disparity on the room as to what I had prepaid on this site. I'm trying to resolve that now. However, in fairness the room was comfortable, the area is a bit out of the way from the city center which was ok for me, and the staff was friendly.

Überall im Zimmer Staubgewebe, Schränke und Tische nicht sauber, Bad/dusche war gelb und nicht gereinigt. Deswegen konnte wir's auch nicht nutzen. Und leider überall Körperhaare, inklusive im Bett. Das sind leider alles No-Go's, die die Reinigung und Kontrolle betreffen. Vergilbte und verschimmelte Silikone werden auch nicht ausgetausch. Dabei hat das Hotel eine sehr schöne Lage. Echt schade.

De kamer was goed schoon, geen zwarte voeten van het tapijt. Enige puntje was dat het in de badkamer naar riool rook. Service was goed. Ons kind was erg ziek en had bij weggaan smiddags 3x in de auto overgegeven. Onze kamer was nog niet schoongemaakt waardoor we 3u na uitchecktijd hem nog even mochten douchen en omkleden in de kamer. Nadeel van het parkeren in de garage is dat onze auto was ingebroken, terwijl we dachten dat het juist daar veilig zou zijn.

Sehr ruhige Zimmer, großer Parkplatz vor dem Hotel, es herrscht hier und da ein wenig Renovierungsstau. Es war aber alles heil und sauber. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gastronomie haben wir nicht genutzt, Preise wirken aber okay.
