Sehr schönes Zimmer mit super Blick auf den Rhein. Aber leider muss man sagen das wir mehrere Brutstätten von Mücken im Zimmer hatten. Einmal bei der großen Fensterfront und einmal im Bad. Ich musste die Badewanne vor dem Bad mehrmals reinigen, um die ganzen Larven und toten Insekten zu entfernen.
Da müsste sicherlich mal was getan werden, um den sonst sehr guten Eindruck nicht zu belasten.

If you crave perfection...this is not your hotel. This is an older hotel in a spectacular location!! We rented a family suite. It had two bedrooms and a living room and slept 4 adults VERY comfortably. It is not a luxury hotel but it was clean and every request me made was met with cheerful compliance. My only complaint is that the shower is very small...think cruise ship small. It is a 1k walk to the train station to Cologne.

When asked the guy on duty has the audacity to say that in Germany 15 degrees is warm for them
So they turn of heating . The night temperatures at this time are very cold and the whole idea of a good sleep is lost when ypu have these bog windows( great view) but lets in so much cold into the room
The guy then gave me electric heayer which i think is programmed to work only for a little timso in all I suffered for two nights at the hotel
If you are looking for a warm cost bed dont go there
If you are ok with a cold bed and also paying 12 euro extra for parki g per night then do visit
Otherwise avoid

Das beste an dem Hotel ist die Lage, wenn man ein Zimmer mit Rheinblick bucht. Ansonsten ist es sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Service nur tagsüber, die Bar hat nicht mehr auf. Zimmer mit alten Teppichen, Betten bequem.

This place is so awful, we didn’t even bring our luggage in. It was not the room we booked. When we questioned this we were told they only had one of those types of rooms and it was booked and not by us. We were told we booked the ‘Junior suite’ no the deluxe but when we produced our receipt that indicated deluxe, we were told it still wasn’t what we booked. This was a very obvious ‘bait and switch’. Advertise and charge you one thing, but put you in something much less quality for higher price. The place also smelled bad. Take off the mask and smell!

Everything was great; the family room was spacious and clean, a plenty of spaces in the parking lot and reasonable parking fees, friendly staffs, a nice breakfast and bar, a good neighborhood by Rhein river, and its located in the middle of Köln and Bonn so it’s easier to travel to both of cities...
Except, there is no AC and floors made lousy cracking noise when walking around because the hotel is aged. A coffee table was made of glass so I had to move it to a bathroom to be away from my toddlers. Also, the hotel and guests are quite mostly but some local people were noisy outside in the evening.
Overall, I love this hotel and will definitely come back.

Great hotel, I've stayed here a number of times and will return again. Staff excellent, good location and rooms are comfortable. Food is also good and this time I had gluten free bread for breakfast which was lovely.

A really great hotel on the banks of the Rhine, equally distanced between Cologne and Bonn. Railway station a 5 minute walk away. The hotel was brilliantly situated, clean and with fantastically friendly staff. Breakfast was free and plentifull with fresh ingredients and all tastes catered for, The room we had was a perfect family room, a double room and a room with two single beds, all the beds were really comfortable, a separate toilet and bathroom were perfect, the shower was super powerful and the temperature was great. With the added bonus of snow during our visit it was a perfect weekend visiting the Christmas markets in Cologne.

Great hotel, right on the Rhein and close to the Rhein River boat cruises. It was nice for us not to be in the big city of Koln. Transportation to Koln was easy to find and easy to use. We loved the small town feeling. Staff was very helpful. Delicious breakfast, with a great variety of food. Room was well kept and beds were comfortable. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Off the beaten path proved to be along the river, but was it an out of the way location. The room smelled like smoke, and the curtains did not keep out daylight. Well the bed was good and the bath facilities were decent. The parking lot was a good option as long as they could keep the cards working. And it was a bit tricky if you came after 11 o'clock because you had to have a code to get in

Das Rheinhotel in Köln-Wesseling ist für den Normalverbraucher vollkommen ungeeignet. Nun hatte ich als Köln-Besucher schon eine Unterkunft in 20 Minuten Stadtbahnentfernung ausgewählt, da wird einem pro Nacht 15€ für die Nutzung des Privatparkplatzes berechnet, weiter entstehen dem Gast morgens 22€ pro Person für das Frühstück an Kosten! Das TV-Angebot besteht nur aus merkwürdigen Privatsendern, ARD wie auch ZDF, alle Dritten-Programme, 3-Sat oder Arte sind nicht zu empfangen! Weiter keine Bluetooth-Funktion im TV, also abends tote Unterhaltungshose... Die Stromleisten im Zimmer sind Fake: nur eine von drei Steckdosen sind aktiv. Von den schlechten Bettmatratzen habe ich enorme Rückenprobleme bekommen, also: alles in allem ein Hotel, welches man in der Regel zweimal besucht: einmal und nie wieder.

Eine absolute super Unterkunft, werden gerne wieder kommen. Personal war sehr Freundlich, und auch für Nachbuchungen z.b. für Parkmöglichkeiten stehen sie gerne zur Verfügung. Bezahlmöglichkeit nur via Bargeldlose Bezahlung ( Kartenzahlung ) möglich, was aber absolut kein Problem ist. Wer Wassergeräusche bei offenen Fenster Beruhigend findet, wird hier absolut nicht enttäuscht. Das Schlaferlebnis ist teils besser als Zuhause. Alles in allem können Wir das Hotel am Rhein Wesseling wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Für Menschen die eher Scheu sind ist die ganze Abwicklung im Hotel super. Man kann online ein- und auschecken. Aber die Mitarbeiter können euch auch Service aufschwatzen die ihr gar nicht benötigt, vorallem wenn ihr sehr müde von der langen Reise ankommt.

wir haben eine unterkungft gesucht, da wir familie besucht haben. da wir zu dritt mit hund doch ein bischen platz brauchen, haben wir uns für einen hotelaufenthalt entschlossen. die kommunikation, das wir mit hund anreisen, ist irgenwie untergegangen...hat dennoch funktioniert. der blick auf den rhein ist genial. für den parkplatz 12,50€ und Frühstück 18,00 € ist ein bischen überzogen, parkplatz haben wir uns gegönnt, frühstück nicht. alles in allem ein positiver aufenthalt und zu empfehlen.
