Only downside was breakfast was so busy, on one occasions we gave up waiting for a table and went elsewhere. I’d recommend going to breakfast very early to beat the rush.

Courteous staff and nice breakfast. The property is right beside a car repair shop. They test the cars in the night. They also keep screaming in the middle of the night. Rooms are extremely small for a double bed room. Rooms are clean.

Really good visit, Staff were very helpful and listened to our needs.
Newly opened adjoining Turkish Restaurant was also a bonus.
Had a night at the hotel both going & returning from a trip to Austria. Bed was very comfortable and Breakfast was a real treat!!

I was very disappointed with my recent stay. Upon arrival, the room was extremely hot, and the air conditioning was not working. I attempted to contact reception, but the phone in the room wasn’t functioning either, which made it difficult to report the issue or request assistance.

Additionally, there was no shampoo provided in the bathroom a basic amenity I expect from a hotel of this standard.

I’ve stayed at Holiday Inns around the world and have always had positive experiences, but this stay fell far below expectations in terms of service and quality. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

Wir haben mit unseren Kindern (sechs und zwei Jahre alt) eine Nacht im Hotel verbracht. Das Personal war durchweg super nett von der Rezeption, Frühstücksservice und Reinigungsservice.
Das Zimmer war tiptop sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig, gerne wieder und vielen Dank an das Personal für den angenehmen Aufenthalt!

The only downside is that the hotel is far enough from markets, restaurants and stores (although it's a 1 minute walk from a Subway and McDonald's, but I'm boycotting these) and from the closest tram station, which is 15 minute walk away (Spich station).
The phone in the room didn't work unfortunately - I couldn't even call the reception.

Fine for two nights

Clean budget hotel with good breakfast. A few food options very close to hotel. Room is quite small for 4 people. We also had to psy 15€ for parking a night when there was nothing else about and we could hsve parked on the road for free if we'd known, i underrtand paying in a city buy not in middle of nowhere.

The property itself was great. The room was a bit small for our family but it worked. Best part was the breakfast included and staff was great. Not in a great location for access to public transport whixh was the biggest issue. The McDonalds and Subway within a few meters also made it convenient for travel with kids.

Stayed for 3 nights and it's a convenient location between Cologne and Bonn with a car. Very clean, quiet, and breakfast was well furnished. Room was well appointed and has a good sized TV. Not much within walking distance except a couple of fast food outlets and one restaurant across the street. Overall a nice stay.

I stayed two nights with my two teenage daughters and requested a room that sleeps 3 as advertised and I received the smallest hotel room I have been in .. even with a double bed it looked tight and they set up a sofa bed and there was hardly any space to put our small carry - on suitcases.. it was awful.
A hotel room with no chair, tiny piece of wood mounted on the wall for your table..
The bathroom was clean but also too small. Usually when a hotel advertises a room for family it slightly bigger than a normal size but this one felt horribly small ..
Their breakfast buffet was good
The only thing around the hotel is à gas station with a subway and a McDonnals close by…

Ok for just sleeping. Found an opened milkpackage with the coffee wich stayed there for the 2 nights. We found someone elses candy under the bed so i guess they dont clean the rooms more then what the eye can see. Small rooms.

Bedding terrible. Thick duvet and bedding not changed from previous guest most likely.bed is too soft. Loud traffic noise round the clock. Bad air quality because of location. Not very clean either.just the Coffe in the morning was not too bad. Avoid if you are sensitive.

The hotel seems to be an older building and the rooms could use freshening up. The manager apologized that due to Covid there were no tourist brochures and the restaurant was closed. Luckily there’s a Subway next door and a Steakhouse across the road. Our stay was OK but don’t think we’ll be back.

Good hotel up to usual Holiday Inn Express standards.
Clean, modern and fresh rooms. Decent hotel reception area.
Room let down by tiny pillows and tv that had no working channels and a broken remote. On the bright side the remote came in a plastic sleeve so you know its been disinfected since previous guests tried to get tv to work.
Plenty of free parking and a decent Italian restaurant next door thats not to pricey. Theres also a fuel station too.
Nice breakfast included too!
Would stay again if passing through the area in the future.

Property is new and modern. Very clean with excellent staff. More a motor hotel than gasthaus. Close to autobahn, about 1km from Spich train stop. Must use your room card to turn on electricity for the room. Breakfast is included and is standard items. Free Wifi is unsecured, and if used you will be bombarded with ads for pay wifi. Good for a short stay.

Great value break

Great hotel, easy check in and we were able to access the room two hours earlier at no extra cost. Plenty for breakfast which was free and rooms clean and comfy with daily maid service. Would definitely return.
