I recommend your staying at Casa Andina. I got a very quiet room on the second floor. The staff was more than friendly and helpful, especially Jose and Daniel at the front desk and Luis in the restaurant. They go beyond expected to make your stay very pleasant. Hotel was clean and the staff helpful and courteous. The breakfast has a nice variety of breakfast items and hotel does stay open for lunch and dinner. Menu had a nice selection to choose from. Downside, no refrigerator and their WIFI was awful. If you use WhatsApp like I do to communicate with family and friends it’s a major problem. Forget trying to open even your banking app also.
Overall though, a nice choice for the location.

It's ok but right now very noisy.

This hotel is very nice, centrally located with huge rooms, a great shower and a pool. However, we were awoken at 5am by CLUB VOLUME music from a local kitchen!! It didn't stop all morning. I went to reception and requested a change of room and they told me that they had already reported the problem to the local government but nothing had been done about it! If you stay here, make sure you aren't at the back of the hotel because you will also be disturbed. Breakfast was average, neither great nor bad, the cafe/restaurant at all other times seemed completely unwelcoming and empty so we didn't eat there, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. My Dad who is mobility restricted said that the rooms were good and the bathrooms safe to use but there is no lift, so be aware there are stairs to each floor.

The Casa Andina was great for the price. A motel style arrangement, with rooms on three floors facing into an inner courtyard.
Be aware though…no tea or coffee facilities in the room, and no fridge..this seems to be standard for 3 star properties in Peru.

Comfortable with a great location

The room could use some sprucing up decor-wise, but it was clean. It had A/C which was very nice. It's within walking distance of the bus station, and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The shower pressure was a little to high. The head could probably be replaced. In typical Peru fashion you can't flush toilet paper. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Great location with lots of places to eat and drink. Short walk to the planetarium which was very interesting and easy pickups for tours. Fairly close to PeruHop pickup. Breakfast was good and easy, free baggage storage for the day. Only downside was a noisy air-con.

Not a bad place to stay

Overall a pretty good hotel with lots of restaurants and shops around. The only issue we had was that there were a lot of ants in the room, which was on the second floor. My son kept seeing lots of small ants in his bed, which was a bit annoying. Fortunately they didn't bite and were just a nuisance.

We arrived a little later than anticipated, but they were waiting for us and got us into a room straight away. Location is great, right on main road with many shopping and dining options and within walking distance to almost everything. Rooms are a bit older, but kept extremely clean and tidy. Staff is great and will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Only downside we had was that the rooms are not soundproofed well and you can hear everything that goes on outside. We were next to the stairs (no elevator) so it was a bit noisy from time to time. Breakfast was good and the WiFi worked really well. Overall. A nice stay. ...........

The Katari Hotel At Plaza De Armas, Portal de la Municipalidad 128, Arequipa 04001, Peru was A perfect location, facing city Square. The staff were more than accommodating and couldn’t have done more to make our stay pleasant. The rooftop restaurant provided absolutely amazing view of the city. With fantastic sunrise and sunset. The room was beautifully appointed and if we thing was well thought out.

A great hotel to discover fabulous Nasca!

We enjoyed our short stay at Casa Andina in Nasca. It is a perfect hotel to discover the Nasca civilisation. The only aspect of our stay that could have be improved was the noise levels. The walls are paper thin and it makes it very hard to fall asleep/sleep.
Other than that, the internet was really good, the included breakfast was good and the staff was.especially friendly and professional! Special thanks to Ana for keeping our room perfectly clean, to Cristian for bringing our heavy bags to the car and the front desk staff for their superb service (Henry in particular).

Beautiful Hidden Property

We stayed at Nasca Lines for 6 days, but when we left town and came back, we decided to try Casa Andina since we had stayed at several of their properties over the duration of our trip. It is very deceiving from the street, as the property extends so far back! It is a big property! The room is as pictured, although we were their during the summer and it was hot and it took a while for the a/c to cool the room down. We were in the heart of the town, across the street from various restaurants and the local grocery is around the corner. Since they didn't have a bar, they were very accommodating with icing and opening our wine while we sat in the dining area and had lunch and played cards. The pool is small, but adequate. The pool deck is surrounded by trellises full of bright pink bougainvillea that seems miles away from the bustling street, just steps away.

One of the better hotels in the Nasca area to choose from. I guess I expected a bigger/better hotel compared to the others we stayed at in the four weeks in Peru. It was very tastefully decorated but expected bigger than a full bed for a Casda Andina hotel. Staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast was buffet which allowed you to fill up on what you wanted. Not as quiet as I hoped for but it was a busy place.

There’s bugs in the room, at night the turn off all the interior light, 4 me is very dangerous if a earthquake happens or another emergency.
Be careful they give you a false total when you have to pay your IGV ( Peruvian Taxes )
Really bad experience with this tiny hotel
Ahhhh and the pool really dirty and small about the breakfast better is in another place.
If you really want a A1 restaurant go to Catalina restaurant !!!!

Great choice in Nazca

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was a fine choice. The bed was comfortable, the wifi adequate, and the breakfast generous. One day we even got eggs cooked to our specification. The location is great and the pool area is relaxing. The hot water was really hot except for once when it had to be reset. But the best thing about this hotel was the friendly staff and helpful folks at the front desk.

It was an ok hotel, The man checking in charged me 80 soles for early checkin and then when he emailed me the receipt it was only 50 soles, so I didn’t trust any of the help after that, when I checked out they tried to charge me double for the internet since I had to log in twice to get it to work... other than that it was clean and decent.

Amazingly Friendly Staff, Comfortable Stay

I stayed for two nights for a work trip (in September). I arrived two hours later than expected, yet the hotel staff was quick to lift my spirits with a smile and friendly demeanor. My GoPro had a screw that wouldn't budge and despite my inability to translate for the word \"wrench,\" the staff went out of their way to find me the tool I needed to get the job done. Every one had a big smile and was quick to say \"buenos dias\" while offering to help however they could. The rooms were comfortable by Peru standards with clean bathrooms and wonderful toiletries. The bathroom tile floor was even heated, which was quite a nice touch during my September (early spring) visit. Breakfast was typical for nice Peruvian hotels although the eggs were consistently too runny. Coffee tasted better than the crappy Nescafe though. The pool looks more like a big hot tub although I did not use it all.

My only small gripe was that my partner lost his immigration form and therefore we were charged 18% tax on the room. Obviously his fault that he lost it and the hotel was obviously acting legally; however in Peru many a blind eye is turned and I thought that for this hotel, considering its price, it was a little tight for them to pursue this charge. But as I said, a very small gripe and other than that we had a lovely stay. I would highly reccommend,

Very Solid Place to Stay in Nazca

Given the choices of hotels in the town of Nazca, this is probably the best option unless you are just looking for a super low price hostal or some resort spa. This is equal overall to a good mid-level hotel in the USA; it has all the basics. Employees were great, family and tourist friendly, smoke free, room and linens were clean and space was fairly large by Peru standards, hot water reliable, cable tv, safe box for valuables. Breakfast was ok, and I appreciated the extended hours from 6-10. Pool is small, but the surrounding patio is a nice place to relax in the sun. Hotel location is perfect as it is across the street from the upscale restaurants in town and only a couple blocks to the main square. Only a 15 min walk to the bus station if you travel that way. I stayed here a couple days while touring Nazca and would recommend it unless you want a Taj Majal or a cheap backpacker dive.

What? Pay for WIFI??

This hotel chain has a problem, they charge for wifi in your room, the free wifi in common areas is a con as it switches off every 4 hours and is basically so poor that it forces you to consider paying for wifi.
Wifi is like air it costs the hotel next to nothing so why charge for it

Hotel was complicated for documents (Peruvian vs. foreign). Seem to have strict (strange) rules/laws.
In such a warm climate, a refrigerator would be nice, especially for the price. Also a second night stand (one on each side of the bed) is needed.

Our stay was unpleasant. Starting by the fact that we were asked to pay 18% extra for taxes, even thought this was not specified anywhere on the hotel description. The bedroom is nothing out of the ordinary, looks like a 2 star hotel. The bathroom smelled. The only ventilation in the room is a small window, so the rooms gets insanely hot on summer time. On the positive side, breakfast was good, and the hotel is close to the city center.
