Our room was very clean and smelled nice. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom and shower were great. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was great with good variety and quality and the coffee and hot water machine was always available. We loved the fireplace in the lobby with the sofas and easy chairs. Ample parking. Close to downtown. Overall a great stay. Great value for the money. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

I stay at this hotel often, my daughter attends McDaniel College. Check out is at 11 am and one of the housekeepers started knocking on doors shortly after 10 am to \"see if they were occupied\". I travel 4 hours one way and try to get as much sleep as possible before making the trip home. I found it very rude and disruptive for the housekeeper to be knocking on all of the doors, especially before check out. I was getting dressed when she knocked and had to hurry to the door because I was afraid she would just open it if I didn't answer her immediately. This has never happened during a previous stay and it makes me apprehensive to choose this hotel again in the future.

Hotel and rooms are a little dated, but very clean. Not the coziest mattress but decent enough for a few nights. Staff wasn’t overly friendly, but i didn’t have any specific issues. Breakfast was surprisingly good - except the chocolate milk. not sure that was real chocolate lol

Anyway it’s a decent price in a pretty good area accommodations are pretty good - just a little dated.

Every thing about the motel was excellent except getting into the Parking Lot. The management should push for it's separate entrance from the highway.

Staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. Our room was a nice size and clean. The only thing I would recommend would be a better shower curtain as the water gets on the floor very easily because there’s not much of a lip on the bottom of the shower. So the curtain just moves outside of the shower.

Provided no housekeeping except on request, and the one time I requested it in a 5 day stay, it was at best minimal. Did not take away dirty towels, replace empty tissue or plastic cups. The breakfast was always the same, limited choices.

Here for a funeral in the morning. Convenient location. Found a good place for dinner (Cinco de Mayo) and an ice cream (Twin Kiss) close by.

Choose Another Hotel

The lobby area is very nice. The receptionist at the front is also nice. However, when we pulled the top covers off of the bed we saw that the sheets and the protective covering had pee or stains from sex on them. We wanted to switch rooms but the hotel was full. We were told Housekeeping was not available and we were given sheets to change the bed. We stayed on the first floor and the people above us were running back and forth and making noise. We repeatedly called the front desk to ask them to quiet down but nothing was done about it. Consequently, the noise continued until about 4 AM. The room also had the stench of Cigarettes even though we requested a non-smoking room. Also, the Wi-Fi was not working so we could not access Netflix on the television to watch a movie. We were so turned off by the lack of sanitary conditions in the room that we decided to pass on breakfast even though it was free. The hotel is in a great location, however if we knew that it was going to be like this we would have chosen a hotel 30 minutes from our destination to avoid staying here.

Great stay overall!

The location is great with surrounding stores for your needs and the pool has fun items for kids! The breakfast is great, and the coffee station being available 24/7 is great, was clean and assessable. Just remember, no elevator but staff are great in assisting if needed.

They tried to refused our service animal because of her ESA status stating that there was a difference between support animals and service animals and which one they accepted into the hotel based on that status. After making an exception for us allowing us to stay only saying we couldn't leave her alone in the room (a crate trained 12 lb mini poople) we had to scramle to find a new hotel. We missed the wedding ceremony that we came into town to attend. I have never been told that my animal was not allowed in any hotel the past three years I've had an ESA. ESA are usually for people suffering with mental health disabilities or challenges where service animals are usually for people with a clear physical challenge or in need of help performing tasks. I will say this is the first time I've felt less than or compaited to in a less than manner to someone who needs a service animal. Both ESA and service dogs are service animals because they both perform important tasks. My animal's job is just as important and mental health sufferes deserve the same rights as handicapable people.

We were in my home town for a funeral. Found that, while it wasn't dirty the hotel had an unpleasant smell. After dark, i went to my car alone to get something and there were several men in lawn chairs drinking by the door I had to use to get back in. Otherwise the parking lot was empty. After asking later, i was told the city is renting rooms here to house the homeless. Not sure if this is true, but on our next visit we stayed in Fredrick instead.

Great hotel for the area, breakfast was nice and having the tub was great. Rooms were dated and as clean as youd expect a dated room to be, but beds were really uncomfortable. Service was amazing though, great staff and sure I'll be back!

I stay here quite often because its close to my daughters school. I always come back because of the front desk and management staff. They are kind, friendly ,accomodating and helpful.
