Odd smell in room. Towels ans sheets were dirty. Roaches were not shy. Door didn’t close all the way.

These are outdoor rooms, and the locks and deadbolts were not sufficient for the doors. The bathroom was clean, but the pull out couch mattress had no sheets on it, and had rust marks and mold on it. For the price paid for the night, it was not worth the stay. The staff was amazing and sweet, but the property was not the 8 rating we paid for

I strongly advise travelers to be cautious before booking this property. In my experience, this place is not suitable for a vacation stay or for business travelers. The atmosphere and overall condition felt more like a low-grade motel than a hotel meant for comfortable accommodations.

When I first walked into the room, there was an unpleasant odor that immediately stood out. The bedding did not appear clean—the sheets looked dingy and worn—and there were visible cigarette burn marks on the sofa. These details made the room feel unsanitary and poorly maintained. From the moment I entered, I did not feel comfortable or confident about the cleanliness of the space.

Another major issue occurred when I reviewed the charges on my account. I discovered that I had been charged $451, even though the manager insisted he only charged $375. When I questioned the additional amount, he denied placing that charge and suggested that the bank might have done it. Which was not true. Horrible experience

Clean room, stocked amenities- Did not like how the older lady at the breakfast buffet watched and hovered over you as you are fixing breakfast. It was 8:15 and others were still coming in yet she did not keep the area stocked with food items. She went in the back and got a few things when asked. She also asked myself and my sisters for our room # as soon as we walked in but I didn’t notice her ask anyone else this.

The check in process was pretty standard. No issues. Once in the room, there was water on the floor. I wiped up and the napkin was very dirty. The room has a small hole in the wall from the door hitting it. The caulk around tub was stained and the bathroom door did not lock. Bed was not very comfortable.

Shopping very accessible..Belks n Krogers close by. Room needs an upgrade, needs.painting, monitor towels, room was damp both days, bottom of tub worn n easy to see previous.non slip mat markings. It was good. One of the beds the foot area was higher then the head. Only had three towels for a family of 4 (booked it saying 4 guest), checked in late after football game and had to go ask for additional towel. Room was clean. Breakfast was ok.

The room was very clean! The young woman at the front desk was unprofessional and had a bit of an attitude. No problem with the room,(as long as you don't use the phone, ours didn't work). Would have given 5 stars on all, but the front desk attitude brought it down.

Needs a good cleaning.

While the room appeared clean, it really needs a good deep cleaning. The ceiling in the pool room appear to be warped like it had some water damage and I saw a large roach bug while at the pool. On top of all of that the breakfast wasn't that good and made my wife sick.

Room was not like the pictures posted online.. bathroom was horrible. Came back to room and the ceiling collapsed and smelled like mildew.. my clothes in my suitcase were wet due to the a piece of the ceiling falling on it. was offered another room but just asked for a refund instead. The whole establishment needs to be remodeled!

The room was damp with alot of moisture. Even the covers and pillow casings felt damp. There was a smell in the room as if it had rained in it. It was noisy the last night there, but not intolerable. The room didn’t get cleaned, so we had to get clean towels from the front desk. Overall, would not book there again, mainly because of the moisture in the room. I’ve never experienced that before. Definitely couldn’t be healthy sleeping in a room full of moisture.

I would probably stay again

The breakfast gave choices of hot or cold food and was very tasty. The room was comfortable and clean with plenty of space to lay out your things. The staff was exceptionally friendly and never made you feel as if you were putting them out if you needed something. The hotel was located in an area that is close to everything. The downside was that the bathroom faucet needed replacing because you had to work at getting it to completely shut off and the internet was very slow. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would probably stay again.

This is a very clean and comfortable place for a quick stay. Cleanliness and friendliness were top notch! Very affordable as well. There is a complimentary breakfast in the morning, but we didn't take advantage of that, so no idea about quantity/quality. But we were very happy with how CLEAN the room was! No stained linens, nothing dingy or dusty. The AC worked great and was reasonably quiet. The only thing that some may not like is the outdoor entrances. Not a problem at all, unless it's just not your preference. Overall a quiet and pleasant stay!

Management issues

The room was nicer than the previous hotel we stayed at in Columbus. The hotel itself was nice, but management gave me issues once I asked to continue my stay for work purposes. We came to the office around 9 AM and he would not give me the same room and wanted to put me in a different room that cost more money. I believe they did this so they would not have to honor their price I paid for 5 days. I don’t know if I will be back because management was difficult and would not work with me

The room was clean and quiet. They did not service the room so we did not have clean towels or coffee in the room for our second night/day. I could call to ask for these items, but the phone in the room did not work. We were expecting severe storms that had spawned tornadoes all day. When asked where to go during a tornado warning the front desk told us about a storm shelter outside of town. The breakfast was not replenished in the morning. One of the reasons we chose this property was for the breakfast. If you need a place to stay for one night, it’s fine as long as the weather is good. Otherwise look somewhere else.
