pool says hours were until 10 pm went down around 9.20 pm an it was completely dark and the dead bolt was on the door , so your key card would' not open it, the shower in the room, water did not drain properly, plus shower was not warm, at check out there was no one at the desk, called on phone, and they said just drop the key in the box, zero customer service.

We chose this hotel because it gave us the option online to choose a pet-friendly room as we were going to be traveling with our pup. However, when we arrived they told us we were lucky they had one available because you must call to reserve those rooms. But we were clearly able to choose the option online, our reservation and receipt both stated we booked a pet-friendly room. So I’m not sure what that was about. When we did get to our room it was absolutely disgusting! Poop on the toilet seat, some white substance on all of the counters, hair all over the bed sheets, and the floors looked like they had never been touched, the mirror was so dirty it was just a cloud. You couldn't even see through. Also, there was a smashed gummy on the floor which was very concerning since we had our dog with us. I gave it 2 stars because they did move us to another slightly cleaner room. It was a long miserable night for sure though.

Well we were 4 hours from home for a softball tournament for starters. We read there was a heated pool, this pool was NOT HEATED @55 degrees. Plus there were no towels. The hot tub had green foam and had broken pieces around it. The hot breakfast had cold sausage and it was literally filled right in front of me. There was a clump of hair in the shower when we got there that my husband took out. Overall the hotel room was not cleaned completely how it should be after a stay. Clarion won't be a first choice next time.

Do not stay here. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from people all around you. The PM desk manager told me “well just check out then, that’s the only way you’ll get a refund.” Ok it’s 9pm and my child is almost asleep. Your hotel is 90% empty - there’s no cars in the lot. Why can’t you space people out to avoid this issue.

Bathroom was moldy. Shower had hair in it and dirty hand prints on the walls. Sheets in bed were dirty-stained. Hair on the towels upon check in. I’m not switching rooms at 9pm to another that’s most likely the same dirty level because the same people are not cleaning well enough.

For Rhinelander WI this place is severely over priced at >$100/night and is more in line with a motel 6 worth like $70/night. Don’t stay here. Read and believe the other 1 star reviews too.

The beds were insanely comfortable and the room was beautiful. The heater seemed to only do excessively warm despite only being set at 61 degrees. And the walls were thin so you can hear everything in your neighbors rooms. Overall great and will stay again.

It was the last hotel available when we arrived. The room was dirty. A huge Hairball inside the pillows on the bed. Bathroom small and cramped, toilet didn't flush properly, water leaked out of the shower. Garbage can (smelly and gross) inside entrance door. Layout was very cold and unwelcoming. No real places to actually sit on at arrival. The food was not too good either. Worst place to stay at.

The hotel is situated in \"downtown\" Rhinelander, where my son and I traveled to for a multi-day cycling event. Though, downtown, the setting surrounding the hotel is far from desirable to look at... With rundown homes, scenes of drunk people leaving the bar nextdoor, and the unkempt asphalt parking lot. The staff were rude / unwelcoming, and it seemed that their guests were a burdon to them. The room was renovated, from some previous state of being, to what it is now, without much attention to detail; shotty, sloppy caulking and painting. The HVAC was functional. The door to our balcony was difficult to open / close, and every time we went out there, we could smell nothing but cigarette smoke visiting us from other rooms' balconies. The floor was absolutely filthy, and we never received any service... I never saw a single cleaning person in three days. The linens were all old, thin, dingy, and stained, though I believe they were clean... We never received any fresh towels or mid-stay cleaning. We did not use the pool or hot tub, as the water was a bit cloudy for my taste. The free breakfast is exactly what you'd expect after reading the above, too... We did not partake.
I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend the establishment to friends or family.

We stayed 3 nights, got to room bedding was dirty on one bed with stains, they never came to change out when asking staff in the hall , floors were sticky, had to wear shoes or your feet would be dirty, pillows were comfy, bed not so much, hot shower with great pressure, sink though didn’t drain well, no working fan in bathroom , housekeeping never came during stay to give new towels, had to ask for them and try to find someone to get them, breakfast was ok nothing fancy as it’s included with stay, lots of cracks in ceiling that was plastered over not very well , they do have potential to be a good option to stay they need to work on cleaning better and customer service, better beds and making sure to have clean towels daily to room. Was walking distance to many dive bars that were good and found a good breakfast place called Dinky Diner.

The smell of cleaner in the room was overwhelming. In fact it was giving me a headache. I turned off the air conditioner, and that helped somewhat. Bathroom was not the cleanest the shower soap dispenser was broken and cover very dirty. The floor had lots of sand on it sticking to your feet.

After we booked we realized the hotel we really wanted us available and Expedia was willing to cancel but said the front desk was too busy to ask the manager for approval. We we got there the front desk aka manager. Aka food keeper. Aka bartender was there taking on all

The staff was very nice an it has been updated inside (for most part) but we came an hour after check in time and the room was still not ready for another 30 min. They just finished cleaning and must use only fabuloso so that was extremely over powering and the floors were so sticky an turn my feet black. The white comforter had stains all over it couldnt even use it. The bathroom was strange, very small doorway an the toilet was angled so to get toilet paper had to reach behind you. They could use a dusting in the bathroom as well, i know they rushed cause room wasnt ready but still should've had it fully cleaned. The patio off our room was quite nice. Went down to the pool area an saw the pool was murky green. The hot tub was crystal clear an working tho, also had a pool table there as well which was nice.

Dan was absolutely amazing! Friendly and went out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable. Asked numerous times if we needed anything or how our stay was going. Great guy!
The only downfall was there is only one elevator and having a handicapped family member with you, it was a long way to the room.

Enjoyed my stay and my room was clean and spacious with a large balcony, however it could use some updating and the pool area needs attention. The pool water was cloudy with a greenish tint and the hot tub had film floating on top and debris in bottom of tub so was not gonna use either. Staff was friendly and close to restaurants and shops. Would stay here again.

This is by far the best hotel in the Rhienlaner area. I traveled this area once a month and have stayed at multiple hotels. I was very impressed at this place. It doesn’t look like much when you pull up but when you walk inside, it’s amazing.
Easy walking to local bars and restaurants.

We were charged the rate of a king suite for a double queen. The breakfast was cold and inedible, the milk was spoiled, the strawberry kiwi water was out both days. The toilet paper roll holder would flip upside down and the toilet paper would fall off. The pool and hottub were nice. The cleaner they used for the sheets made the room smell awful. Definitely not worth $350 for two nights.

The smell in the room was terrible, as a matter of fact two rooms beside us had the windows open (I'm sure to air the room out). As far as staff and service, the lady who checked us in was very nice, but she is the ONLY one on staff that we saw and only that one time. There was a phone available to call.

Nice Hotel for Hockey Tournament

Check in and staff were very friendly. The room was clean. Towels has some minor stains but we're fine. The room temperature controls were awful. Heat set to 61 and it was way to hot but cool set to 80 was way too cold. The hotel was a little maze like but that made it fun and interesting. The pool area was very open, a little dark but fine for the kids to play. Overall a great hotel for a hockey tournament and would recommend.
