The hotel itself was fine and convenient for our drive to southern France, however the dining was extremely limited and poor. We ate in the restaurant which was only serving a buffet. It was poor for kids meaning they barely ate anything for €30 each. My fiancée, myself and my 9 month baby were then extremely sick throughout the night likely from the chicken we tried. I informed the staff on check out and emailed the hotel management, yet have never received a response.
An extremely disappointing experience from a usually reliable hotel chain. I will not use this hotel or chain again.

Swimming pool was closed, half of the machines in the gym are broken, and the restaurant was ‘full’ even though there appeared to be only two tables occupied. Overall a poor experience, particularly for a hotel which markets and prices itself as having 4 stars.

Nice family hotel next to Futuroscope.

We were only staying overnight en route to holiday destination. Hotel caters really well for families visiting Futuroscope. But otherwise there is not much to do. Hotel is nice, and very clean. Staff in restaurant is very young and we had a few mishaps. But we would stay again if looking for accommodation in area.

My Stay at Novotel Futuroscope.

I had a good stay at the hotel. The hotel had good parking and was very close to the A10 motorway, which good for long journeys form Spain to the UK via France.

The bar and restaurant were a good size and provided a good selection of food and drinks. In addition , they had a heated outdoor pool, which appeared to be popular.

The rooms were a good size with very modern facilities included an easy to use air conditioning system, that was needed on a hot day.

Overall a very nice hotel and at a decent price.

Great kid friendly hotel close to Futuroscope

Great place to stay with the family for a trip to Futuroscope! Very kid friendly with a little games room, toys for the kids and even a free pencil case and pencils. Good food, great service even down to quickly organising a room change (including putting up a cot and a spare bed) to allow us an early check in. 10 min walk (with toddler!) to the park. Would definitely stay here again if I was going to Futuroscope.

Check your credit card statements!

I pre-paid for my stay with Expedia, but like all hotels they insisted on my taking my card details on arrival and when I got home and checked my credit card statement I found they'd taken the money off me for the nights stay even though I'd already paid through Expedia. Good luck trying to complain to Novotel - they only have a premium rate phone number to call or a web form to fill in. If you fill in the web-form, as I did, they don't send you a copy of what you've filled in so you have no record that you've complained. I'm having to go through my credit card company. Won't be staying at a Novotel again!

Basic amenities in the room but very clean and comfortable (great night's sleep!). Great location for Futuroscope and nice restaurant (only opens at 7pm so if u have little ones it could be an issue) service a little slow but they have a bar 😍

Close to the Futuroscope but it's an old hotel

The room was absolutely not a 4 stars room - We found a comfy bed and a flat TV but the bathroom was probably built in the 60's with only plastic stuff. The room was small and smelt funny.
Avoid the restaurant there, the food was more than disappointing for this brand and the staff wasn't better.

Futurescope Novotel good base for a visit

Fourth visit to this hotel; typical Novotel with friendly staff, good food ( very pricey breakfast though), comfy beds , small bathroom and toilet but a big room. On this visit had a problem with the air conditioning and the wing with our room was looking a bit tired in places. That said, continues to offer reasonable quality and service for the price.

This was our third stay at the hotel. It is a very typical Novotel; very friendly staff, good food ( ludicrously expensive breakfast), very comfy beds, small bathrooms and toilet but big rooms. It all works and you know what to expect, which is good when planning a journey.

Comfortable and great value for money

Passing through to Calais with dogs. Excellent hotel with good amenities and next to major roads. Had room service which was ok (quick service, food selection just ok) and enjoyed excellent buffet breakfast next morning. Needed help with route to Calais and lady on reception was very kind and couldn't do enough. This hotel was great value for money.

Largish 'superior' family room, well located for Futuroscope (get the free bus or 7 minute walk), friendly staff. Air conditioning works but looks like it was designed for the Soviet Union and couldn't be adjusted. Nice pool though big sign insists on speedo-style swimwear (which we ignored without consequences - does anyone outside of competition or France still wear these?)

Wonderful, just wonderful. Good food, good rooms, pet friendly, plenty of parking, and very helpful staff. We had a problem with a broken key on our trailer lock, and maintenance helped us to sort it out so we could continue our journey, they could not have been more helpful. Thanks Novotel. Five stars

Lovely hotel except for the rooms which were a little tired especially the pillows and bedding with a very cramped toilet! The staff were very pleasant with a good command of English. All that said it was only for two nights and probably the best hotel for futuroscope.

Whilst the reception area and the cost of drinks was 4star that was all. The cups in our room were cardboard and the glasses plastic. Our friends travelling with us had a room so small that there was no access to one side of the bed. The separate toilet was unbelievably small. The reception did offer to change the room, but they decided to stay put as it was only for one night. As another room was available one asks was this room allocated because we had received a discount on the room. Both rooms were right at the end of the corridors.i would not recommend this hotel.

Great Location for road and Futuroscope

We stayed in order to visit Futuroscope - a short walk and you are there!!! The location is excellent, and easy to find by car and has a direct access to the A10 when leaving. Really easy to find and to leave from. Hotel was clean and good sized room, only problem was the size of the toilet - separate to the shower and bathroom, but tiny (we had a corner room so may have been worse that other rooms) - odd, but livable with. Also the price of the restaurant was quite high - a business style hotel, so kind of expected this

Great Location with Good Pool

The hotel was very well placed to allow you to stroll over to Futuroscope. I just wish the receptionist could have told us that wehn we asked about shuttle bus to the park. We decided to drive instead and it cost us 7 Euros for the day. We realised then how close it was so the next day we walked. The pool was also very nice and the hotel was also just 5 mins away from a supermarket.

The nice reception foyer and bar area belie the poor room quality. Our room was supposed to be superior. The bed was poor quality. The bathroom was that plastic prefabricated pod type style where its slotted in during building. Could hardly move in the toilet compartment, or even get into the shower module with the inward opening door. Horrible bathroom. The room itself was drab and featureless. On a trip thru Spain and france this was the most expensive hotel we stayed at and yet the most uncomfortable. The other members of our party agreed this as well. Dinner options were good and the Resturant good quality. Sorry to say but strongly suggest stay elsewhere in Poitiers.

We stayed overnight en route back to the uk. Having spent two weeks in a lovely French villa we were not particularly looking forward to this but we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and modern, the location is great as it is right next to the motorway and futurescope is on your doorstep. Would definitely stay again on a return trip, although the the old feller on reception was a bit miserable!

Établissement très propre, décoré avec goût.
Idéalement situé ( 5 min à pied de l'Aquascope et du Futuroscope ).
Et pour finir le petit déjeuner était PARFAIT.
Un large choix...( sucré ou salé)des produits locaux et de qualités.Je suis assez exigeante concernant le petit déjeuner et là j'ai été réellement conquise !
Très bon séjour, je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Nous avions réservé une suite pour profiter du bain à remous qui n'a pas fonctionné du séjour. Nous l'avons signalé dès le premier soir, la réception nous a dit qu'elle faisait passer le technicien mais pas de nouvelle et aucune amélioration constatée. Hôtel choisi pour sa proximité avec le futuroscope : 15 min à pied du site, passage piéton dédié (pensez à la lampe torche pour rentrer après le spectacle nocturne, certaines parties du chemin ne sont pas éclairées)
Insonorisation : Les voitures peuvent être entendues la nuit (pensez aux bouchons d’oreille!), hôtel proche de l’entrée / sortie d’autoroute.
Propreté : longues traces de calcaire sur le pommeau de douche (à revoir)
Petit dej : 20€ pour qualité moyenne, meilleure offre qualité de petit dej dans d’autres novotels

Sejour en famille pour le Futuroscope.
Point positif :
L'hotel est très proche du Futuroscope ( 10 min a pieds)
Facilité pour se stationner
Petit dejeuner varié et possible jusqu'à 11h ( gratuit pour les enfants de - 16ans)
Dans la Chambre : Propreté OK et cafés/ Boissons offertes.
Salle de bain idem : bien equipees

Pour nous le point negatif est vraiment au niveau du canapé-lit pour nos 2 enfants, qui n'était vraiment pas confortable et qui grinçait.
Cest le seul point qui nous a déplu pendant notre sejour.

Passant ma vie à l’hôtel, il y a des choses qui à force deviennent insupportable !!
Particulièrement dans le groupe ACCORD,
L’utilisation d’alese, est une aberration tant en terme de chaleur et de confort, malgré un matelas plutôt appréciable.
Il y aussi le rapprochement de deux lits de 90 en un seul pour faire un grand lit, pareil , très inconfortable puisque l’on ce retrouve systématiquement dans le creux au milieu.
Et pour finir, l’insonorisation de la chambre est très limité, on entend beaucoup trop les bruits de la route.

Attention lorsque vous prenez la demi pension. On pense avoir entrée plat ou plat dessert mais en fait ce n’est que sur la formule du marché avec un choix de seulement deux plats et deux entrées et un dessert. D’autre part demandez un étage élevé. Au premier sous la fenêtre depuis plus d’une heure un camion frigorifique qui fait un bruit d’enfer.
